Note: This time, we bring you a very special Itachi POV chapter! Enjoy!

I'm utterly speechless as Hinata swiftly turns and exits the director's office, but then, the moment of awkward silence that follows seems to have the same effect on everyone. Immediately, I focus my attention on the boy who has corrupted my precious Hinata. The Hinata I know would never have done something so tactless; the only logical explanation is that he has her under his spell — a spell that I have the responsibility to break. If only Hinata hadn't felt the need to intervene, this boy and his corrupting influence would be out of her life for good.

Now that Hinata has left, this feeble excuse for a man turns to face me, grinning maliciously. With his back turned to the director, he raises his hands to form a double bird, waving these obscene gestures in a show of arrogance. I narrow my eyes, stifling my anger before it has a chance to show, and turn to the director. I have no intention of sinking to this delinquent's level.

"Director, sir, I must ask that you reconsider." I can tell that my calm, even tone aggravates Hidan, but I take care not to show my satisfaction. "Perhaps Miss Hyuuga is right. While the matter does not warrant expulsion, letting him off scot-free will only encourage this kind of behaviour. What kind of message would you be sending to the other students at Konoha High?"

I'm interrupted by a snort. "What, are your ears up your ass, too? Hinata just said that I'm to continue my education here, and that's final. You must be some real top of the notch delusional son of a bitch."

Coolly, I reply, not doing him the courtesy of making eye contact. "Hidan," spitting the word out like the poison it is, "obviously, you were the one not paying attention. Miss Hyuuga never said anything excluding suspension, or even..." I pause for effect, meeting his gaze with an icy glare and smirk. "Community service. Such as... kitchen duty, perhaps?"

This catches the idiot completely off guard. The look of terror that crosses his face is simply priceless. "AW, HELL NAW!" Hidan spins around in his chair, desperately trying to win the director's support. "That's total bullshit! Get Hinata back here. Let's see what she has to say about this!"

The director sighs deeply, slamming a hand down on his desk to silence him. "I've had enough out of you two. This isn't supposed to fun; this is supposed to be a lesson meant to teach you the importance of proper behaviour. And you, Itachi." I'm taken aback by the harshness in his tone as he addresses me. "I expected more from you. Instead, you're here bickering like a child over personal matters."

I sneak a glance at Hidan, growing more irritated at his look of satisfaction. First Hinata, now the director... will I ever be rid of this cockroach?

"Do you recall how much support Konoha High receives from the Uchihas, Director?" I ask coolly, resisting the urge to fire him on the spot. I can tell by his startled expression that he has picked up on the real intention behind my words. The director eyes me warily, eventually coming to his senses. The slight nod that follows after a few seconds of silence is all I need to know that he has given in.

"Very well," he agrees finally... reluctantly. "Hidan, as punishment, you will required to volunteer in the kitchen for next two months, without exception. If you miss a single day, I will not as generous as Miss Hyuuga, and your time will be doubled. This applies indefinitely, so if you miss two days, your sentence will be increased to eight months. Understand?"

For once, Hidan doesn't seem to have a clever response. This is a loud thumping noise as Hidan falls out of his chair.

"Understood?" the director repeats, staring him down mercilessly.

Finally, Hidan nods, balling his hands into fists. Without a word, he gets back on his feet, punching the wall next to the doorframe as he takes his leave. The director sighs, squeezing the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Are we done here, Itachi?"

Never.

I study the empty space where Hidan was a moment ago before answering, "Yes, Director."

I step out of the director's office, glancing around with practised nonchalance. Just as I suspected, Hidan the hooligan is already back to himself, swaggering down the hallway in the direction of Hinata's class. How very typical. I turn and immediately begin following him, knowing that I must save Hinata from further corruption.

Instead of rounding the corner of the hallway that leads to Hinata's class, I sneak to the edge of the wall and my eyes creep around just enough to give me a sense of what's happening. Much to my dismay, I see that Hidan is no longer alone; he has been joined by three other miscreants. For a moment, I hold on to the hope that Hinata will keep hold of her senses and stay in her class. This hope is shattered, however, as the door opens, the space in the doorway filled with Hinata. From here, I can just barely hear her repeated apologies under the voices of the four hooligans. When did she begin to be so rebellious? This new information has only strengthened my resolve to exterminate these rats before the infestation spreads.

We really like writing in Itachi's POV. Let me know if your still liking this story, any opions would be appreceated. We're sorry this took so long, we are human.
