She didn't want to wait for her date.
So it would seem that she would have to put her foot down before chaos broke out, "There will be no 'fun' here," Kagome said in such a frosty manner that it startled Steve, "You aren't going to attack these people, Bankotsu." Normally, with so many pairs of eyes on her, she would have been embarrassed.
But if she wanted control of situation, she couldn't show any sort of fear.
One of Bankotsu's brows rose at her tone, "Are you going to stop me, little Miko?" His smirk was dark and held a clear lust for blood, "Wouldn't that be interesting?" His hand travelled to the place she knew he kept his dagger – one that had been forged from the broken blade of Banryuu.
"Stand down," Kagura ordered, already fingering her fan that she had kept in her skirt pocket, "Surely you don't want to bring such attention on yourself?"
Bankotsu shrugged, obviously amused by the proceedings, "I wouldn't be bored anymore," He snickered, "I bet it would be worth it," But despite his words, his hand fell harmlessly to his side, "To see how many of the 'Avengers' I could take down on my own."
Steve frowned, not liking the mocking tone that Bankotsu had taken, "None of us wish to fight with you," He eyed Barton, seeing that the archer felt the very opposite of what he was saying, "But I won't hesitate to take you in if you insist." He stated in his 'Captain' voice.
It sent the good kind of shivers down Kagome's spine.
"Fine, fine," Bankotsu let out an exaggerated sigh as he put his hands up in a gesture of peace, "I can see that I'm not wanted," He then turned to look at Kagome with interest, "But you did call the Boss for help, so I will be your knight in shining armour, my fair lady."
And with that, Bankotsu easily hefted the shocked girl into his arms and was already leaving the shooting grounds before anyone could actually react. Steve quickly regained his senses and was following the assassin's steps within seconds and stared into Kagome's wide blue eyes before the two disappeared behind a corner and out of sight.
"MISS KAGOME!"
