Chapter 33! Wow! Um, guys, we're almost done with this story. Maybe one or two more chapters? This is the last of the drama for this one! The climactic POW! Well, I thought it was great anyway. And yes, it made me cry and beg and plead along with our leading lady. So...here is your second chapter!

As soon as Nessie had left, I began kicking myself. All she'd wanted to do was help. But on the other hand, I'd gotten to be alone and wash myself. Carlisle was right, though. I definitely wasn't at a hundred percent. My ribs ached, and a part of me felt hollow. That wolf had dug for my heart, burrowed underneath my skin and bones. Just the memory of the pain was enough to make my knees shake.
And then, the memory of what I'd done. That didn't help. Sure, I'd been protecting myself. It was self-defense, but I remembered what it had felt like snapping his spine. There was no thinking twice. I'd done what I had to do. It was him or me, and I'd decided that I wanted to see my mate again, my friends and family. Killing vampires was an entirely different scenario. They broke differently, not like a human, but more like glass. It was easy to separate. But killing another werewolf was too close to home, no matter how different they were. The thought of throwing up crossed my mind. But the pain that would accompany it prevented me from following through.
Making a decision, I called out mentally. Edward, get me some clothes. And then get me downstairs. I need to be around my pack.
Though I didn't like the thought of my pack seeing me like this, I needed not to be isolated. I needed to be around life.
A few moments later, there was a knock on the bathroom door. Shutting off the water, I grabbed one of the towels Ness had left and felt another pang of guilt. But dammit, a man has every right to want to be alone for a while to protect his pride. I shouldn't have felt bad for that. She'd have done the same.
I dried off and wrapped the towel around my waist before gingerly getting out of the shower. It felt good to be clean. Edward had left a pair of sweats and a tank on the bed. After I slipped into them, I met him out in the hall. Standing must have required more energy than I thought, because as I started to list to the side, Edward wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Easy. How do you feel?" he asked as we headed for the stairs.
"Like someone tried to rip my heart out of my chest."
He chuckled. "Sounds accurate."
"How is she?" I asked as we made slow progress down the stairs.
He was silent for a moment, no doubt debating what to say. Probably trying to decide on to say anything at all. His nosing around in our business in the past didn't ever turn out so well.
"Edward," I urged, also making it a bit of a command.
He sighed. "She's ok, Jacob. Maybe a bit upset, but she understands."
"Really?"
"Trying to," he amended.
Eventually, we made it downstairs. Bella was fluffing up one of the big overstuffed chairs that the couples liked to share. Bigger than a chair but smaller than a loveseat. Edward practically dragged me over there because my knees weren't really working anymore. He dropped me down as gently as possible and immediately members of the pack crowded in. Morgan and Christa sat at my feet, hands touching my legs. Claire crawled into my lap but stayed away from the wound. Someone must have told her to be gentle. Sam and Emily stood to my right with Leila grinning down at me. Seth nodded to me from the couch where he was wrapped around Shelby. Other members of the pack came by to pat my shoulder or touch me in some way, thanking me for coming back to them, and then they were off to do patrols. It was as if they'd waited, paused their lives, until I came back around. It was touching that they cared that much even though I wasn't close to all of them.
"'Bout time you got outta bed," Emmett called from the floor where he was playing video games.
"Shut up," I said with a weak smile.
He grinned back. "Still got some fight. I like it. There's a game on. Wanna watch?"
"Don't stop your game on my account. I'll probably pass out soon anyway."
It hadn't occurred to me that I'd been nervous about seeing the pack. I hadn't wanted them to think I was weak, but Nessie had been right. They understood that I was healing. Anybody else would still be flat on their ass in that bed. But I was healing from a potentially fatal wound, and just two days after receiving it, was sitting down in the living room without medical wires and tubes attached to me. I was still strong, maybe slow, but strong.
"Are you hungry again?" Bella asked as she handed me a glass of water.
Adjusting in the seat with Claire on my lap, I winced but took the water. "Thanks. And no, not right now. Where's Nessie?"
"Um-,"she muttered, her eyes going to Edward and Sam.
"Bella. Where is Nessie?"
She swallowed, her chocolate eyes meeting mine. "She went to get you some clothes from the cabin."
"Ok. Who went with her?"
Now she looked nervous.
Before she could answer though, Claire spoke up. "She went alone. She said she wanted some air. Caden told her the woods were kinda safe."
I glared over at him. "You did what?" For Claire's sake, I tried to keep the threat of murder out of my tone. I may have failed. She flinched away from me. "Sorry, Claire," I said, taking her hand. She squeezed back and laid her head on my shoulder.
Caden gave me a look. "I told her it still wasn't all that safe because Tristan was still out there, but to be honest, it's unlikely Tristan would do anything right now with his pack locked up."
My eyes bugged out of my head. "Are you crazy? Right now would be perfect. We're complacent, thinking we're safe. You said he's always two steps ahead of us. He'd expect us to think that we're safe and that it would be the perfect time to try-"
Just then a scream tore through the night. My name. Nessie's voice. And then it was abruptly cut off.
My eyes met Edward's.
"-something," I finished hoarsely.
Bella grabbed Claire off my lap before I sprung out of the chair. Carlisle was beside me a moment later.
"Jacob, you shouldn't be moving like-"
"Save it, doc. That's my mate out there."
"You could die, Jacob."
I turned to him before rushing out the kitchen door. "Then I'll die saving her."
Phasing in mid-leap out the door, I heard about ten other voices join me. The pain from moving and phasing staggered me at first, but that ringing scream echoed in my ears. Panic, anger, and adrenaline pulsed through me, filling the wound in my chest with purpose.
If Nessie had left right after leaving the bathroom, she should have been up at the cabin, but I didn't have to go that far before I hit her scent. And drops of her blood. This time, they didn't bother covering their tracks.
Team up. Spread out. But follow the scent. They didn't cover it.
Seth was beside me in moments. As was a white wolf. Caden. He didn't share the mind telepathy that we did but he nodded and whined. Scratching at the ground, he growled.
Edward?
"Nothing. They're too far away."
Dammit! Not again!
"We'll find her."
We'd better. Let's go.
As one, all the wolves and vampires moved out deeper into the woods.
RPOV
Groaning, I came to in the process of flopping around. My head pounded, and my stomach turned. Signs of a concussion. That wouldn't surprise me. Nyla had hit me hard enough to knock me out. Putting my hand up to my temple, I felt pain, but also stickiness. The blood had begun to dry. When I finally gathered the courage to open my eyes, I almost hurled, my stomach churned so hard. What the hell?
I was moving. We were moving. Something large and furry was underneath me. Trees and shrubs blurred past as we ran. In the shade of the woods and the lightning , I could see other blurs of color keeping up. Tristan's pack. Instinctively, I knew that Tristan was the wolf that was carrying me.
Ok. Think.
I'd screamed before being knocked into Neverland. If Jacob hadn't heard me, someone had, and they would come for me. I just had to buy some time.
Dear god. This was just like last time, except now, I didn't have Caden to help me out. I was on my own. Taking a deep breath, I considered my options. Really there were only two so there wasn't much to consider. Option one was to stay here and let them take me to wherever they were going to do whatever they wanted to me. Meh. Next. Option two was to jump off the pony-sized wolf who was running at breakneck speeds, and pray I could outrun him and the pack until I ran into my family. Didn't really like the odds of that one either.
But I had to try. If Tristan got me where he wanted to take me, I was worse than dead. I'd rather die here in my woods than in a strange place, alone.
So, option two, it was.
There was a stream coming up soon. When Tristan jumped, if I timed it right, I'd jump off on this side bank while he was on the other. Jacob, Uncle Jasper, and Dad had had me learn the woods around the house. And we weren't so far out of my comfort zone that I didn't know where we were.
The more we ran, the more I could smell the water. A few more lopes and I could hear it. Ok. I only had one shot at this. It seemed like Tristan was at the back of the group, probably keeping an eye on them just in case one or more were really on Caden's side.
Just a little closer. There was only one shot, and it had to be done right. He didn't seem to know that I was awake, which was good because that meant that my mental shield was up and working, but I had to get my feet into position so I could push off from him.
Two more lopes and he'd jump. I could feel it. I counted them out.
One.
I took a deep breath, but stayed relaxed.
Two.
Gathered my strength, and went through the plan quickly.
His front legs left the ground, and the moment slowed down. It was like there was no need to hurry when I had all the time in the world. I pushed myself up and away. As his back legs left the ground, and we were over the stream, I planted my feet in his side and kicked away from him.
We landed at the same time on opposite sides of the stream, but I didn't stop. Once I hit the ground, jarring my shoulder, I rolled and popped up to my feet. I heard him snarl and growl, but I tapped into my vampire speed and flew through the trees. It was easy to follow the scent backward, and I knew that Jacob and the others would be following it, as well. Eventually, I'd run into them.
A crash and howl sounded behind me. My heartrate flew through the roof.
Don't look back, Nessie! Don't you dare look back!
When it felt like warm breath caressed my neck, I tapped further into my vampire genes like never before, gritted my teeth, and dug my feet into the ground. One of them was still hot on my heels, but I didn't think it was Tristan.
Taking a chance, I pivoted a sharp left, pivoted again to the right. Behind me and further back, someone cursed. The deeper into the woods I got, the more familiar everything was. I was close to home, close to Mom and Dad's cottage.
"Mom! Dad! Jacob!" I yelled between breaths.
"I don't think so!" someone snarled.
A moment later, someone had me around the waist and down I went. I kissed dirt, and for the second time that day, the air left my lungs. Whoever it was flipped me over onto my back, and straddled my waist. Great. It was Nyla. Again.
When she swung this time, I was ready for it. I blocked her with my forearm and used my other fist to pay her back for the jaw shot. Her lip busted, spraying blood. The blood made my stomach rumble. While her head was still snapped back, I punched her again for the temple shot. Managing to roll us over so that I was on top straddling her waist, I threw punch after punch. She blocked some of them and managed to hit me back. Blood flowed out of my mouth and down a cut above my eye.
She was bleeding from her mouth and nose, bruises blossoming here and there on her face. We were evenly matched, fighting dirty with anything and everything we had. Hair-pulling and nails weren't out of the question either.
Finally she managed to throw me off of her. I staggered back only to land on my ass. For a few heartbeats, we just sat there, glaring at each other. Both of us spit blood onto the ground. Scratches ran down her arms and the sides of her neck. Some were from me, I knew. Others had to be from the sticks and twigs on the ground. Glancing down, I saw the same on my arms.
"It doesn't have to be like this," I managed to huff out.
She growled, baring her teeth, which were steadily elongating. "Yes, it does. You're murderers!"
"Murderers? Then why is Caden here? He wouldn't stand for that."
"You brainwashed him."
"Really? I don't think so. Do the words 'true mate' mean anything to you?"
The anger slowly receded, replaced by confusion. "He wouldn't have said anything to you about that unless…"
I raised my eyebrows. "Unless he found it?" I nodded. "He did. Leah. And she imprinted on him." In the distance there was the sound of leaves rustling and yipping. I hurried on. "Look, I know you don't know what that means, but it has something to do with our kind of wolf. It's kind of a soul mate finder type of deal. Please, Nyla. Don't make us take you down with Tristan. He comes against us, he will die, and anyone who's on his side that doesn't recant will go with him."
For a moment, I thought I had her. I believed that maybe I'd gotten through to her, that she'd heard the truth in my voice. But the hope that I had vanished when the expression on her face turned to a snarl once more.
"Liar! You brainwashed him into teaching you how to lie to us. You're trying to trap me!"
The thought to get up and run came too late. A shadow came up behind Nyla.
"Ah, Nyla. Good work." Tristan stepped into a spot where, when the lightning flashed, he could be illuminated. The rain had started up, harder than when I'd gone up to the cabin. It was starting to filter down into the trees. "I do hope she isn't too injured."
His words reminded me of what he planned to do with me, which made me look at his body. It suddenly clicked that the wolves were naked from having shifted. And Tristan's body was responding to his own threat. The urge to hurl came over me once more.
I scrambled to my feet, Nyla not too far behind. She looked murderous. But now, she couldn't kill me. Tristan was here, and wanted a piece of me.
Now, I had to out-maneuver a man that was twice my size and outweighed me by at least a hundred pounds.
Just like old times.
JPOV
We were getting closer. I knew that because the scent was getting stronger. Nessie's scent and her screaming my name kept me going. My ribs burned with my breathing. The thudding of my heart didn't help the pain but it let me know I was alive. And as long as I was alive, I would fight to get to my mate.
The more we ran, the stronger the scent until eventually, I smelled blood. Again. And it was a mix of Nessie's and another I couldn't quite identify.
"Nyla's," Edward said.
What?
"That's Nyla's blood you're scenting."
If Nyla was bleeding, that meant that Nessie was fighting back. And close.
With a growl, I dug my claws into the dirt and increased my speed, pulling out in front of everyone. Lightning flashed, and I saw three figures up ahead. It wasn't really a clearing. More like it was still the forest just without all the shrubbery.
Nyla was standing alone, watching, not paying attention to the woods around her. Tristan had backed Nessie into a tree, his naked body pressed up against her clothed one. Red colored my vision. That was my spot, my position as her mate. No other male was to be near her that way, touching her that way.
When I cleared the shrubs, I lunged, flying through the air with a snarl. Nyla yelled out a warning, but it was too late. My wolf body tackled Tristan from the side, tumbling us through the woods. There was a hill just beyond the trees we were about to roll through.
"Jacob!" Nessie screamed as we disappeared down the hill.
She was alive. That was all that mattered. And now, her family was there to protect her from Nyla and the other wolves. So I could pay attention to the asshole under me. We landed at the bottom of the hill scratched and panting, but I phased to human form, held him down and punched him hard. He was already mending, throwing a leg out to wipe my feet out from under me. I landed hard on my back. When he loomed over me, his eyes were glowing amber, fangs sharp and extended as well as his claws. He knelt down, one hand at my throat, cutting off my oxygen, and punched me three times in the face. I felt my nose buckle under the pressure. Blood exploded and stars danced.
But little did he know, I had some new tricks. Unsheathing my own set of claws, I brought my wolf to the forefront. Slicing and dicing Tristan's arm that was holding me down, I used my other hand to slice up his knee, trying to reach the back of it to disable him. It didn't work because he backed away from me, eyes wide in shock as he studied his arm.
Taking full advantage of the moment, I got to my feet, arms up, ready for a fight. I had to protect the wound on my sternum. If he hit it, I was done for.
He got up slowly, spit blood, and smiled. His previously white teeth were pink. He held up his fists loosely.
"Alright, Jacob Black. You wanna dance? Let's dance."
And we circled each other.
RPOV
I had to get to Jacob.
That was the one thought that raced through my head. He was too weak to go against Tristan. The last time he did, he'd been wounded with a gunshot. The gunshot hadn't been a fatal blow and yet Jacob had still needed help against Tristan. This new wound could be fatal if reopened. Tristan would be able to scent the weakness.
Nobody else had shown up. He must have outrun them all to get to me. Love and pride swelled inside me.
Just as I was about lurch for the hill, Nyla appeared in front of me.
"Oh, no you don't. You're going to get to him too late if it's the last thing I do."
The fury was back, bubbling up inside me, filling out my skin. Now, I was the one sick of her.
"Get out of my way, Nyla."
She smirked. "No."
"I have to get to him. You'd do the same for Tristan."
She shrugged. "True, but seeing as how you're my enemy, I can't let you go."
"He's my mate, Nyla. You haven't mated with Tristan, but I know you understand the connection. Please, Nyla!"
Tilting her head, she considered it for a moment like it was a new piece of candy rolling around her mouth. Again, she shrugged. "Sorry, no can do, sweetness."
Claws outstretched, she lunged for me. But before he could get a hand on me, a dainty pair of arms wrapped around her from behind and swung her around. She flailed and rolled across the dirt. Right into the arms of a giant wolf who I recognized as Morgan. Christa had been the one to drag her away.
"You ok?" she asked, eyes searching my face.
I nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I gotta get to Jake."
"Go. We got this."
Just then, the area flooded with wolves and vampires.
Christa turned to them. "Go find the others. Morgan and I got this." Facing me once more, she shoved me away from the tree. "Go. Get our alpha back."
While Christa went to join Morgan, I took off for the hill. The forest was thicker in this area as if to ward any hikers away from the hill. I ignored all the warnings, pushing through the thick weeds and brush and limbs. The roots were ginormous, as well. But I knew I was heading in the right direction. The further I pushed on, I started hearing grunts, smacks, and snaps.
As soon as I burst through the last of the woods, I was on the edge. It wasn't so much as a hill as a slope with a ditch at the end.
Once I caught my balance, my breath whooshed out of my lungs. Both Jacob and Tristan had blood flowing down their bodies from various cuts and slices. There was even some skin and meat missing from both of them. The claws were out rendering them both unable to make complete fists.
Neither of them held back as they beat ever-living shit out of each other, fists and feet blurring as they swiped and kicked out. With noise I'd made they had to know I was there, but I said nothing so as not to distract Jacob.
Tristan threw a punch, but it was off due to the fact that his right eye was swollen shut. Jacob dodged the jab and sent one of his own out, landing solidly on Tristan's neck. The man swayed but didn't go down.
But Jacob thought he would.
Time slowed down once more as I saw the inevitable play out as soon as Jacob lowered his guard. Tristan ducked as if he was about to topple over. Instead, his fist snapped out one last time. Jacob's eyes widened, arms going back up, but it was too late. Tristan's fist landed a solid blow to Jacob's sternum, right over the wound.
Jacob dropped like a rock.
I screamed.
Tristan looked up at me with an evil grin as he stood over Jacob, who was scarily still on the ground.
"Oh, good, love. Just in time to see your lover die."
I wanted to throw myself down the hill, but if I did that would render me useless until I could get my bearings. Jacob would already be dead, and I'd be next. Of course, I was all for not living long after Jacob's last breath, but dammit, I'd want revenge for his murder. So I stayed up on the hill and watched.
Tristan bent down to grip the back of Jacob's head, and lift. Jacob coughed roughly, and blood poured out of his mouth. Tears, sobs, started in my chest. Seeing him like that ripped my heart into a million pieces. My soul slowly dying as if it were mimicking Jacob's last moments and would die when he did.
With Jacob's head pulled back, his neck stretched out, I saw my nightmare unfold. This was how Jacob was going to-
Raising his free clawed hand, Tristan grinned before the slice downward.
"NOOOOOOOO!"
Those claws had just touched Jacob's throat when a white blur flew from out of nowhere. In the blink of an eye, Tristan was thrown backward, but not before he dug those claws into flesh. I screamed again as my knees threatened to buckle.
As the white blur, which I now knew was a wolf, and Tristan rolled away into the trees and out of sight, I scrambled down the hill. I finally reached the bottom and raced to Jacob's side, falling and clawing in the dirt. A crying, blubbering mess, I drew him into my lap.
"Jacob? Jacob! Stay with me, please!" I cried. "DAD! CARLISLE!" I cried and screamed as I huddled around my mate.
There was no way to tell the extent of the wound because of both my tears and the amount of blood flowing over his skin and onto me. And I didn't want to make the wound worse by messing with it. I just held him and leaned over so he could see my face.
Choking noises came from his parted lips, and I realized he was trying to talk.
"Shh," I muttered, stroking his face. "Don't try to talk. Daddy is coming ok? He'll fix you up."
Those chocolate eyes disappeared behind fluttering lids.
I panicked. "No, Jacob. Stay with me, baby. They're coming but you have to stay with me, ok?" Tears flooded my face and dripped onto his, washing the blood away. "Please, Jacob! Don't leave me! You have to stay. We have to get married. The kids. Please!"
His eyes closed, and I screamed again.
This time, strong arms tried to pull me away.
I held onto Jacob's body for all I was worth. "No! I have to stay! Don't touch me!"
"Nessie, baby, you have to get back so Carlisle can do his job, so he can save Jacob." It was Dad pulling me away.
I put an elbow in his face and dropped back to my knees over Jacob's head. Dad gripped my arm.
"Edward! Let her stay with him or he'll die," an English-accented voice said.
"She's in the way," Dad yelled back.
I felt someone stand between me and my father. Caden. "She's what's keeping him alive right now. If you want her away from him, you're going to have to go through me."
"He's right," said another voice. Adam.
He came to stand next to Caden.
The next thing I knew, more wolves were coming to stand behind me, making a circle around us. Carlisle was moving around, blurring, he was moving so fast. The clearing went silent except for my sobs. Christa came to sit beside me, wrapping her arm around my shoulders. She was crying, too.
"Carlisle, talk to me," I said in a cracked voice, not able to take it anymore.
"He's still alive, still breathing, but it's all irregular. His pulse, breaths, it's all real weak." He shook his head. "Truth be told, I don't know how he's still alive. Or if he'll survive the night."
"As long as Nessie's beside him, touching him, talking to him, he'll make it," Caden said behind me. "That's the reason he's still alive."
Carlisle frowned but nodded. "Ok. I've done what I can with what I have here, but we need to move him. Fast."
As if it had been choreographed, everybody moved at once. Seth, Caden, Lucas, and Adam gingerly picked up Jacob, lifted him up onto their shoulders. I hurried along with them, one hand gripping Jacob's, the other stroking through his hair. I remembered how much he liked it when I scratched his scalp.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, not to pull me away, but to offer comfort. Looking back, I saw Dad. He gave me an apologetic smile. I tried to smile, but couldn't manage it. Jacob's life was in question. Smiling just didn't seem appropriate. He kept his hand on my shoulder the whole time, and I took it for what it was: the equivalent of him wanting to fold me up in his arms.
It was slow going to the house, but eventually, we all made it. Everyone remained silent as we all trudged up the stairs to the hospital bed once more. Mom joined us in the room as the others placed Jacob gently in the bed, then left as if they knew they'd be asked to. Mom drew me into her arms, but I kept my hold on Jacob. Nothing short of death was going to get me away from him. Dad hooked him up to every machine they had while Carlisle washed up and further inspected the wounds.
Silently, he went to work, mending and stitching Jacob back up. There were so many cuts and slices it was hard to tell where one ended and another began. As the blood started coming off, I also noticed some bite marks here and there. Some were human, some were not. The wound on his ribs had been reopened, the new skin ripped away.
One of the machines went haywire, beeping fervently.
"What's going on?" I asked in a high pitched voice.
Dad and Carlisle moved with their vampire speed and rolled over a defibrillator.
"He's flatlining," Carlisle said.
"No! Jacob! Don't do this. Stay with me."
Mom pulled me back and I wrapped her arms around me. Dad and Carlisle had to shock Jacob three times before his heart started up again. I rushed back to his side, getting closer this time. Leaning in, I started whispering things to him about how much I loved him and couldn't wait for him to see my wedding dress. I also stroked his hair and cheek as I talked.
"Keep going, Ness. It's helping," Carlisle said as he worked even faster.
I talked until my throat was raw, and still I talked some more. When I couldn't even whisper, I started projecting images to him. Memories that were subtle so as not to startle him.
After what seemed like hours, Carlisle finally stepped back. "Ok. I've done all I can. Now, it's up to him and his body."
His scrubs were covered in blood. Rags and gauze littered the room along with bloody tools and tubes. Jacob was covered in black stitches. The larger wounds were covered with taped-down gauze to catch any lingering blood. And a tube was down his throat because he'd stopped breathing on his own.
Carlisle called some of the wolves back in to help lift Jacob so that they could change the sheets on the bed. They didn't want to put him in the recovery room just in case Jacob needed surgical treatment again. Until he was more stable, he was staying in the hospital bed.
"Now," Dad said, pulling off his own gloves once the wolves left again. "We need to see to your wounds, Ness."
"I'm fine."
"Renesmee-"
I met his eyes. "Dad. I'm fine. Just a few punches and nail marks."
"And possibly a concussion. Just let me check that, and I'll leave you alone." His eyes turned worried. "Please."
Sighing, I nodded. "Ok."
Wasting no time, he did his exam. I did have a concussion but nothing to worry about. Nothing a little sleep wouldn't fix. And that's what I intended to do.
Tons of questions flooded through my brain, but my body was too tired to care. Mom brought in a bowl of warm water, a wash cloth, and some clothes. She helped me clean myself up and change. It would have been harder to do on my own since I needed to keep in contact with Jacob's skin, so I was grateful.
"Thanks, Momma."
She kissed my forehead. "I love you, my little nudger. I'm glad you're safe."
"Thanks. I just need Jacob to be ok."
She smiled at me. "Stay by his side and he will be. All he's ever needed is you."
More tears flowed down my face. Mom helped me up into the bed. She said she'd stay to keep watch in case anything happened. I curled up into Jacob's side. It felt like it had been years since I'd last done this when in reality it had been only hours since Jake was in this bed the first time.
Gripping his hand, I shifted so that my other hand could rub his scalp as I buried my face into his neck. I'd nearly lost him today, and he wasn't out of the woods yet. All I wanted was for him to hold me.
Instead, I held him and cried myself to sleep.
Phew! I don't know about you guys but that made me emotional as all get-out. Poor Jacob! And I promise we'll find out what happened to Tristan and Nyla. Remember those questions Ness has? Well, I bet they mirror yours! So tune in next time! Please review. They make me happy. :) Love you guys! xoxoxoxo
