Author's Note: Now that this fic is off hiatus, I need to discuss some things:
The reason why this fic went on hiatus for a few months is because I finished writing the part of this story that parodied Insurgent in one day. Because I finished Insurgent, I needed to wait a few months to get Allegiant, which just came out last week. Since I'll be picking up my copy of Allegiant in a few days, production of this parody will resume. But, I need to tell everybody this - If you are currently reading or have just finished Allegiant, please do not spoil the book for me and the readers of this fanfiction.
This brings me to another point - What book should I parody after I'm done with this parody? My Gintama parody of Legend is on-going, but I will need something to fill the void this parody will leave. So, I will make a poll asking what book/book series I should parody next. Just a heads-up: Harry Potter, Mortal Instruments, and Fifty Shades of Grey will NOT appear on the poll. Harry Potter and Mortal Instruments because of the length of both series, and Fifty Shades of Grey because... Well, it's Fifty Shades of Grey, and I refuse to touch it with a ten-foot pole.
Are we clear? Do you want me to shut up and start the chapter? I take that as a "yes".
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
The next day, us initiates go back to the Super Happy Pirate Fun Landscape for our emotional simulations. A woman named Bisca is running them.
"When I was your age, I had several fears - Public humiliation, kidnapping, getting mugged, spiders, drowning, being trapped in a burning building, snakes, Homestuck updates, bolonga sandwiches, and the number 69. You will be assigned one of my fears, and in order to pass, you must... Yeah, you have to do what you've been doing in the mental simulations," Bisca explains. "Now then, raise your hand if you want the number 69."
"I do! I do!" Loke shouts like a five-year old. "Give me the number 69! That number pleases me!"
Thankfully, I end up with Bisca's fear of kidnapping. I won't say what happened, but I end up screaming and wetting myself in front of everyone, including Loke.
I just hope I pass.
When we arrive back at the Hyperion, I'm a mix of emotions - Scared that I failed, humiliated that I wet my pants in front of Loke, and homesick for my family. After I change my pants, I decide to do one thing -
I take a cab to the Kuroshitsuji faction.
When I get there, I'm in awe of the faction my adoptive brother chose. EVERYONE lives in mansions, and they all dress in expensive, fancy clothing.
"Woah... It's like they're World Nobles, but without the cruelty," I comment as I enter the headquarters. Inside, a giant portrait of Mavis stares me down. Under the portrait is the catchphrase of Sebastian Michaelis, "I'm one hell of a butler".
"May I help -" The receptionist asks me before a familiar voice cuts me off.
"Lucy?"
Gray approaches me, in a full tuxedo.
"Gray! I need to talk to you!" I shout.
"Sure. Let's go outside," Gray says. A few minutes later, we're seated at a park bench.
"Gray, I miss you," I tell my brother.
"I do, too. But, my duty to become one hell of a butler distracts me from the loneliness," Gray explains. "But, as a One Piece fan here with a Kuroshitsuji fan, I think you should watch your back."
"Why?" I ask.
"I dunno. Association with me, the fact that you came here without paying a call, your clothing," Gray points out. I look down to my T-shirt, which has Luffy's Jolly Roger on it. "Yeah, in the coming days, especially Initiation Day, watch out."
"What about you?" I ask. Before Gray can answer, two butlers approach me.
"Ma'am, you're gonna have to come with us."
I sigh.
"Bye, Gray. Next time you see me, I'm gonna be Queen of the Pirates!" I say to Gray before I'm escorted away.
"And I will be one hell of a butler!" Gray yells back.
A few minutes later, I'm led into the office of none other than -
"Mavis Vermillion?!" I cry. Mavis hits me with her pimp cane.
"Sit the fuck down, bitch," Mavis demands. I then notice that she is dressed like a pimp and not like... A rich lady, yeah.
"No thanks," I say politely. After all, I AM a pirate in the Kuroshitsuji compound.
"Lucy, your aptitude tests concern me. They came back as inconclusive, have they not?" Mavis asks. I nod. "And, do you know that you are one of two people to transfer from Hetalia to One Piece faction?"
I gulp. Wait - Igneel is Natsu's dad. Could it be... He's an S.O.S. Brigadier?
"No, ma'am," I lie. Beneath her sunglasses and her grills, I can see Mavis scowl.
"I see... I have got my eye on you, Lucy. One false move, and you'll be in Davy Jones' Locker, just like the other bitches who disrespect me - Whoops! Was I supposed to say that?" Mavis rants. With a sigh, I just get up and leave.
Houston, we have a crazy biatch.
Ending Note: Review if you want to see more of OOC-Mavis.
