Hola everyone! I'm back from hibernation aha. Not really, I've just been super busy these past few weeks with productions and homework and casually dying, but it's half term now, so I'm ready to get writing! So, this is the hw assignment chapter, hope you all enjoy! Also, please vote on teh poll on my profile if you haven't already, It's neck and neck between two contenders atm! xx

"So Penny," Jack sighs as he takes a seat next to the red head on the couch. "What now?"

Around the pair, it was chaos. There were crushed crisps scattered across the floor, rainbow lights were dancinig across the walls and Ace, Jaia, Emily, Chesney and Cindy were playing twister as Pierce watched with a satisfied smirk on his face.

"Um... well, their position couldn't get anymore awkward" She replied matter of factly, gesturing in the direction of the fivesome who were cackling over the loud music.

"Yeaaaahh, look at how pervy Pierce is being!" He exclaims as Pierce watches Jaia's ass from behind. Penny frowns and shakes her head.

"You know, out of everyone, he's the one person I really don't get along with." Jack turns to her, eyebrow raised.

"WHAT?" He gasps melodramatically, his hand flying to his mouth. "HOW... WHAT... OH MY GOD, I NEVER KNEW!"

"Yeah, no shit sherlock" Ollie says, popping up from behind the sofa and making the pair jump.

"Where did you come from?" Penny asks, and Ollie shrugs.

"Yo mum."

Awkward silence.

"Wow... that escalated quickly."

The hours past, and soon everyone was so tired that they retired to bed, equipt with a slice of birthday cake and party poppers. Downstairs, Penny sat on the sofa with Chesney, Cindy and Emily, curled up under all their blankets. Chesney wriggled out from under the blanket and went to grab a large bowl of popcorn from the kitchen.

"I can't wait til tomorrow" Cindy says, and Penny nods.

"I bet you anything that you'll win the assignment C," Emily encourages, and Cindy blinks at her, eyes wide in amazement.

"Really?" She gawks, and Penny nods in agreement.

"Yeah, you're one of the best actresses in the group for sure" Cindy smiles modestly.

"Aww..." she squeaks "Thanks guys!"

"No problem sweetie" Emily accepts, wrapping one arm around the girls shoulders and smiling warmly. Penny looks around and sees Chesney slowly creeping towards the sofa, grinning. She puts her finger to her lips and Penny simply nods. Slowly but surely, Chesney continues to edge towards the two girls hugging on the sofa, grasping the large red bowl filled to the brim with popcorn. She stands for a second and tips the contents over the pair, who jump up and scream, startled.

"OH MY GOD CHES YOU LITTLE BITCH!" Cindy squeals, pushing away the blanket and chasing the girl around the sofa. The other two girls laugh in hysterics, until Cindy catches Chesney and throws her cup of water over her head.

"I JUST WASHED MY HAIR! OH MY GOD!" Chesney exclaims, and Cindy giggles.

"Well, you know what they say, sometimes it's good to do a repeat!"

"YOU LITTLE-"

"GIRLS!" Ollie shouts, startling the group. He stands at teh bottom of the stairs only wearing his tight boxers, arms crossed over his chest. "Tryin' to sleep here!"

"Sorry Ollie" The group mumble, as if they're being scolded by their parents.

"Night" Ollie offers, smiling slightly. They wave him off as he ascends up the stairs, looking back occasionally to smile at the girls. They all curl back up under the blanket, putting their arms around each other.

"Best. Birthday. Ever" Penny breathes, resting her head in the crook of Emily's neck.

"Best birthday ever SO FAR." Cindy comments with a smile, and Penny nods, knowing that this is only the beginning of the best dream ever.

The next day, Robert walks in to the choir room to see the final ten sitting patiently in their red chairs, talking quietly in their friendship groups. Once they acknowledge that he's there, their attention falls on him. As he begins his usual homework assignment lecture, Jaia casually files her nails, hiding her hands behind West's chair in front of her. Pierce's gaze falls on her and he puts his hand on hers, squeazing it slightly.

"I'm so nervous." She breathes, and Pierce nods, understandingly. As much as he tries to hide it, he's scared as well.

"So this week's mentor is fairly new to the cast, but has already had some quite challenging storylines thrown at them. They know how you're feeling now as they've been in your position. Come on in," Robert gestures at the door, and it slowly opens.

"Oh my god."

"So, of course, this is Blake Jenner who plays Ryder Lynn on glee" Robert introduces, and Blake steps forward, waving slightly.

"Hey guys, it's really great to be here. Believability is just about...accessing your feelings and adapting them to the situation you're in. You need to show yourself, and make the audience believe you, k? I can't wait to see it, good luck guys." Blake explains with a smile, and the group nod along, trying to take everything in. Robert claps his hands together and beams, signalling for them to get into our start positions.

Well... Cindy thinks, trying to put the pressure that was now on her shoulder after what the girls said the night before out of her mind, It's now or never.

West: I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling your puzzles apart

Cindy: Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart

Chesney: Tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start

Ollie: Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are

All:Nobody said it was easy

West and Cindy: Oh it's such a shame for us to part

All: Nobody said it was easy

Chesney and Ollie: No one ever said it would be so hard

Emily: I'm going back to the startttttttt (hold)

Penny: No, nobody saaaiidddd

Emily: It ain't easy

Penny: No,no no

Penny: I'm going back

Emily: to the start.
