Words: 254
Time: 14 minutes
Pairing: Hattori, Heji & Toyama Kazuha
Spoiler: Read chapter 880. Or wait for the anime.
Hattori Heji was not in love with his childhood friend.
No matter what Kudo had to say about it.
Kazuha was an annoying ahou, most of the time. Okay. Almost all of the time. But that's fine. Right. Perfectly fine.
After all, it was Heji who had to keep her out of trouble.
And right now. Right now, he was working on a case, over the phone, with Kudo and his entourage of kids. And of course, it was supposed to happen soon. There was supposed to be a drug trade of some sort.
In less than five minutes, according to the notebook Kudo found.
And, why- if Heji truly wasn't in love with his best friend- was he so distracted by the fact that there was a suspect chatting her up.
Maybe it was just the profiling he had quickly finished. After all, a guy with bleached hair, nose piercings, and a dragon tattoo on his neck can't possibly be good.
Focus, Heji!
And back to the case- there were three suspects. The old man- who was the least suspicious-, an affluent woman- who was wearing two of the roses in question-, and the man who was flirting with Kazuha.
Kudo was trying to say something, but Heji's mind was elsewhere. Especially when Kazuha bumped into the man. Especially when she started blushing.
So yes. It was definitely that man who was the most suspicious. Just because Heji couldn't concentrate on the case.
And no, he wasn't in love with his childhood friend.
Please review! It's my first Detective Conan Fic, so any critiques would be welcome.
