When he opens the door of her office, she starts guiltily from her perch on the edge of the desk and ends up knocking over a stack of file folders that had been sitting beside her.
Micah can't help but smile at her fluster, even as he shuts the door behind him and bends quickly to help her collect the fallen paperwork.
"Daydreaming again, Dr. Owens?" he teases her, trying to catch her eye as they crouch on the floor.
"Actually, I was taking a vacation in St Something" she teases back, putting a slightly haughty and all knowing tone in her voice as she retrieves the last of the papers and stands to return them to the desk.
"Mind if I join you?" asks Micah, companionably. "I'm needing a little bit of a vacation myself."
"Of course" replies Emily with a warm smile. "Pull up a beach chair." She says with a gesture to the desk.

It is Micah who breaks the silence.
"Something's missing" he says suddenly, hopping up from his seat.
Emily stares at him in confusion as he grabs her hand, pulling her up from the desk and steering her towards the wall. With exaggerated precision, he places her up against the poster and takes a step back to examine his handiwork. With a contented smile, Micah moves back to where she is, his arms encircling her waist, pinning them both against the poster. The look in his eyes makes her heart flutter.
"Now it's the perfect vacation" he murmurs moving in to kiss her gently.
As her arms find their way around his neck, Emily thinks she couldn't agree more
