"Mer? Are you ok? Its three in the morning.. Whats up? Derek groaned.

"Derek! derek! Guess what? IM MOVING TO SEATTLE COS RICHARD TOLD ME THAT THERE'S AN EMPTY SPOT FOR A THIRD YEAR RESIDENT! I'LL BE ABLE TO SEE YOU! AND IT'S IN SEATTLE SO I'LL BE ABLE TO SEE YOU FINALLY!" MERIDITH CRIED

"OH MY GOSH! MEREDITH THAT'S GREAT! YOU CAN FINALLY MEET RILEY!"

"I know! I'm moving to my sisters house next week! i can't wait to see you1"

"Awwh baby, I can't wait to see you to... Baby are you crying?" He knew that she would say she wasn't crying but it was worth a shot. "N-no I'm not... Its just that, I want to see you and and I just can't wait and what if she hates me?"

It was at times like this where he wished he was wth her so he can hold her and tell her everthing was going to be ok, that his daughter would love her just like he loved her. "She's going to love you. Trust me." He heard her sniffle again, "But what if she doesn't derek? and I don't want to become that step mom that ruins her life...and anyways...but...wait I didn' mean to say step mom..but...It's not like I expect you to...I mean...Oh whatever forget it.."

Derek chuckled at her ramble. "It's ok really sweetheart, relax. And she will love you..." Now, he really wanted to hold her in his arms. "Your coming home." He said warmly. " I know. I'm coming home, I can't wait! It's gonna be so weird living with Lexie... In MY mom's house.." she sighed. She knew it was going to be hard with Riley and Lexie. But she knew that whatever happened Derek would be right there, by her side.
