Yes, I'm finally finished a story! haven done that in a while, pretty tragic really. Anyway so this is the epilogue and it may be a but confusing, I apologise for that. It also features a particular mini epilogue that will relate to an important character in the series. Btw, for the first part Zhen Ji's in her DW6 oufit but in Diao Chan's part, she's in her 2nd DW8 outfit. Also Guo Nuwang is in Zhen Ji's DW5 appearance and outfit, which I really hate.

I would also just like to thank everyone who's favourite, read, followed or reviewed this story. I hope the sequel, With Half a Heart will be even more popular! Also, I' greatly appreciate it if you took the time to vote on my poll.

Assassin master ezio 91: Thanks! Glad you loved it ad thought that! Well, you really be waiting til the sequel.

Zhen Ji could only stare at the beauty of the sight before her. The white roses glowed in the moonlight as the darkness further illuminated the lovely roses, it was a truly beautiful sight. One that no person could ever hope to achieve.

Ji had only recently become aware of Yuan Shao's demise and while it did make her sad, she got over it quickly. She was no longer apart of his family, instead she was now going to be the future daughter in-law of Cao Cao.

Her engagement to Cao Pi had been made almost immediately after she arrived to tell him. Her wedding dress was going to be white and blue, it was a gorgeous design and it resembled the outfit she was currently wearing.

The reason as to why she was in this field of flowers was unknown even to her, she had received a letter from an unknown person asking her to meet them at midnight at this location. Zhen Ji was no idiot and she was not coming unarmed, unfortunately she couldn't bring her flute so she opted for a dagger.

Besides, she had only agreed to get those irritating thoughts of Diao Chan out of her mind, that infuriating woman had survived everything and Zhen Ji was beginning to compare her to a cockroach, she was as resilient as one that was for sure.

Rolling her eyes, Zhen Ji knew she had no reason to despise the dancer apart from petty, meaningless reasons. But jealousy could do a lot to a woman, especially a gorgeous 18 year old one. "So you arrived, you're late." A cruel voice called out and Zhen Ji turned towards the voice.

"My, you're hideous." The words slipped out of Zhen Ji's mouth before she even could stop them. The letter writer was a lady in her early twenties, or so Zhen Ji assumed and she realised she was being generous to the girl. She looked at least early-mid thirties.

The woman who Zhen Ji had just called hideous glared, "You should learn to close your mouth! Slut!" Sighing, Zhen Ji turned her back and after inspecting her nails asked. "So what do you want me here for?"

"To take back what's mine!" Spat the clearly uneducated lady but as Zhen Ji was about to response, realisation hit her. "Guo Nuwang!?" A lady her fiancé had been courting before he ditched her for Lady Zhen.

Before Zhen Ji could register anything, Guo Nuwang tackled her to the ground. A flash of silver appeared and the two ladies struggled for dominance. The knife was slammed out of Nuwang's hands and landed a few feet away.

The two girls both tried to gain the knife, Zhen Ji only then just remembering she had a dagger as she unsheathed it and was about to stab Nuwang with it when the other woman grabbed Ji's hand and another struggle broke out.

Everything then seemed to be a rush for Zhen Ji as the dagger punctured through flesh, Ji let out an ear piercing scream. Rage and desperation was in the flute player's eyes. A numerous amount of furious stabs came next.

The white on Zhen Ji's dress was now stained red due to the blood. Falling silent, Ji collapsed to the ground. A final deep stab and Ji let out a furious groan. Lifeless brown eyes gazed into the valley of roses.

The smell of smoke and fire did nothing to comfort Diao Chan as she tried to find a way out of the death trap. The palace was on fire and the flames here everywhere, but the worst part was that the dancer couldn't even find her own father.

"Father! Father! Father! FATHER!" The loyal daughter screamed out as she desperately searched, her eyes widened when she saw the person she was looking for. "Oh no, oh God." She willed herself to be strong as she ran over to her Father.

Wang Yun was engulfed in the flames, Diao Chan reached out to touch him when he suddenly spoke, his voice a mixture of pain and screaming. "My dear Diao Chan. It's all your fault. It's all your fault..." His voice drifted off as the flames suddenly burned brighter and Wang Yun was no more.

Diao Chan was motionless, she was traumatized. Having just witnessed her father perish in front her was tragic and scarring enough, but that wasn't what ripped her heart in half. It was his last words, 'It's all your fault...' Tears fell from the dancer's eyes, was it really all her fault? Had she become that bad of a person she allowed her father to die?

She was snapped out of her thoughts when maniacal laughter echoed through the palace. Her eyes narrowed into a glare, "Li Ru." She growled, her voice dangerous as she griped her whip so tight her hand began to bleed. Li Ru was going to pay for this.

Sprinting through the Palace, struggling to breathe as the enchantress began to realise she had just gotten lost. "I need to find a way out. Come on Diao Chan, snap out of it, your father couldn't of meant you... He couldn't of..." She said to herself as she saw Zhen Ji.

"Please help me.." Diao Chan begged but the woman in front of her simply scoffed and slammed her whip into a pillar. The pillar broke and the roof collapsed, blocking Diao Chan from Zhen Ji and most likely an exit.

Being trapped in a burning palace was not how she wanted to meet her end, tears began to fall from her face as she struggled to pull through, both mentally and physically. There was just to much pressure on her and she could barely breathe with the amount of smoke in the air.

But contrary to her pleas, her situation did not get any better. In fact it got worse. "Lord Lu Bu? My Lord..." Her voice broke as she began to sob, kneeling down with her head on the dead warriors chest.

Maybe her Father was right, it was all her fault. Because of her Lord Lu Bu and Wang Yun had meet their end, it simply was too much for the woman to take. Grabbing her gold dagger, the woman raised it up but before she could take any further action, the chuckles of Zhang He and Wang Yi distracted her.

"Oh look, look at the lost, pathetic little dancer!" Zhang He spat maliciously, his claws sparkling as bright as the evil twinkle in Wang Yi's eyes. "Can you dance your way though this?" Said Wang Yi as she and Zhang He began to circle the dancer.

Diao Chan suddenly leapt forwards and began to run, not knowing or caring at where she was going. It didn't take long for the dancer to smell smoke, as she began to get hotter. Looking behind her, she screamed in pure fright.

Her skirt had caught on fire, not knowing what else to do, she began to twirl, looking like a fire cracker as the flame only burned more and suddenly her whole body caught on fire. squealing in pain, she collapsed to the ground and she could see two very familiar faces.

"Please... Help me..." She croaked out as the figures laughed. "A noble like me doesn't need to help a whore who brought ruin to him." It was Yuan Shao an Diao Chan could of sworn Lu Bu had killed her.

But the next person to speak, shattered her heart completely and she remembered the betrayal she had felt. "It seems almost like a reverse situation doesn't it? Me begging for mercy and help but you just didn't care. Well, I'll pretend to be kind and sincere while I watch you burn to death if it makes you feel better." Jian Yong laughed.

"I'm finally... Finally..." The unequalled beauty couldn't finish her sentence before the flames engulfed her and she erupted into a pure screams and squeals of unimaginable pain and heartbreak. The dancer was no more.

Diao Chan lunged forward, as her chest heaved heavily. "It was just a dream... Just a dream." Diao Chan repeated to herself a she tried to get her heart rate back to normal. She had felt like it had just exploded and the dancer wanted nothing more then to just die.

She was a horrible person and the betrayals of her heart would forever remain with her until and possibly even after her demise.
