A/N: Here is the next chapter, I hope you enjoy it! There are some suggestive themes in here but nothing really bad. I've realized that I have been thinking more like that as I've grown older. I might need to fix that. Anyway…

"You know what I don't get? "Emily says controversially. The team of rangers-Lightspeed Rescue, this time- look at her intrigued, along with her new husband.

"What is that?" Dana asks, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear. It had come out of her elaborately styled bun.

"How you guys could hold jobs while saving the world at the same time," answers Emily, smiling brightly. "We could barely handle the training alone."

"I wouldn't say 'barely'," intervenes Jayden. "Well, at least not for us. Mike maybe."

"Oh yeah, your green," Joel says, tipping his hat at the red leader. "I must say, he has nothing on me though." Kelsey elbows him in the ribs, hard. "Ow!"

"Be nice Joel," he reprimands him. "Or the next one hurting you will be Ms. Fairweather." Joel blushes slightly but shakes off Kelsey's warning with a laugh.

"I'm not afraid of her," he protests, straightening his shirt. Kelsey and Dana raise their eyebrows at each other but don't say anything, just let knowing smiles grace their lips.

"I'd say you should be," Chad tells him. "After all, she was a big part of all the lightspeed equipment that we used when rangers. I think she could hurt you with that."

"That's' not what I was thinking of," Kelsey teases. There's silence for a few seconds as Dana gives her friend a reproachful look. Then Dana's brother, Ryan, smacks her lightly on the shoulder.

"Oh you," he says affectionately. She sticks her tongue out at him as Emily tries to calm her blushing cheeks. "You need to stop this."

"Yeah, Ryan, control your girlfriend better," Chad says. Kelsey shoots him a withering glare and elbows him, hard once again. "Ouch! Now you only have to do that to Ryan and Carter and we'll all be even," he adds, rubbing his side ruefully. Kelsey just laughs.

"She doesn't have to," Carter finally says. he's been quiet this whole meeting, other than at the beginning when he said hello but at the risk of him being on the end of one of Kelsey's nudges, he decides now is as good a time as ever to speak up. "Do you see me teasing her? No. Do you see Ryan? No."

"Not yet," Dana mutters, earning herself a scowl from the titanium ranger.

"Take notes, Jayden. They come in handy," the former green ranger tells Jayden. "Like this for example. Don't tease your wife."

"You'd know all about taking notes, wouldn't you?" Chad gives his friend a grin as the other crosses his arms and sniffs, deciding to ignore such a statement.

"I wouldn't tease her anyway," Jayden responds truthfully. "At least, not a lot. Or meanly." The two newly wedded share a glance as Jayden remembers teasing-the teasing and bullying Emily got when she was younger. He had vowed for that to never happen again, by anyone-even lightly. And especially by him. He will be the one to make it all go away, not bring it back up.

"That's a good thing to know," says the former blue ranger. "Listen up Joel."

"Hey! Why are you always telling that to me?" protests Joel. "Isn't it Carter's turn? Or Ryan's?"

"Don't bring anything remotely associated with Dana into this or you won't last the day," Kelsey says breezily, tugging at her short yellow dress. She hates dresses but for the sake of being polite and traditional, she had been persuaded to wear something dressy. That didn't mean she had to get rid of her combat boots though.

"That's also a good thing to know," concedes Jayden. He tugs on his tie for a second as Emily looks at him with raised eyebrows. "What? It's been a few hours; I've never worn it for this long before."

"Tell me about it." Ryan rolls his eyes. "I can't believe I actually let them force me into it." He gestures to the yellow and pink rangers who shrug and smile sweetly at him.

"If I have to wear a dress, it's only fair," points out Kelsey.

"And it's only polite," adds Ryan's sister, giving him a look. Ryan shrugs, surrendering for now. But when their attention is caught by something else for a moment, he quickly loosens his bowtie and gives Jayden a knowing look.

"Yeah man, why would we have to deal with it and not you?" Chad frowns at the other. "I'm no happier then you are."

"That's because you're more used to being in a swimsuit," Joel teases. Chad raises an eyebrow but lets it pass, knowing that he's very much correct.

"I have standards, though," Ryan retorts. But when Kelsey sighs loudly and elbows him, he lets it drop, knowing he's not getting anywhere.

"Men and their ties," she complains. "Can't you just let it be? It's bad enough I have to wear a dress. Do you know how hard it is to do anything in them?"

"I'm not the biggest fan of them either," admits Emily. "But there's something fun about dressing up, right?" Kelsey doesn't look convinced.

"I don't' know, I like it," tries Dana. "Even though it's a little frivolous at times. It's fun."

"I bet Carter likes it a lot," Joel says, his face serious. "Ryan too." At his words, the titanium and red rangers have crimson spilling over their cheeks. Their girlfriends look equally as embarrassed.

"I swear Carter, if you're like that with Dana-" Ryan threatens but Carter cuts him off, trying to avoid the awkwardness.

"If you're like that with Kelsey," he replies, admitting that he's protective over the sports enthusiast as well. Trying to cover his embarrassment, he turns the tables on Joel. "I bet you're like that with Ms. Fairweather, right?"

"No shame in that, my man," smiles Joel, only the faintest blush tingeing his cheeks. "Jayden?"

"You know, I think I hear Xander calling me," says Jayden, not wanting to get involved in this conversation. He pulls on Emily's hand and gives the Lightspeed rangers a half-hearted wave and a slightly awkward smile. "Sorry to leave you like this. It was nice meeting you."

Emily manages to wave to them as Jayden continues to tug on her. "Jayden, what's wrong? Were they making it uncomfortable? You didn't have to leave, I don't care what you would have said." She smiles at him brightly even as he avoids her eyes.

He doesn't bother to mention-that he had thought of her that way.
