Hey guys! In case I don't edit the first chapter by the time this gets published, I would like to get something straight-the new girl's name, my OC, is named Randy. Full name- Randolph Racquel Litelli. Why does she have a masculine name? I hope I'll write enough for everyone to find out!
Also, whenever there's an aterisk (*) that means that the speaker is speaking in English. So yeah~ Enjoy, ya'll!
CHAPTER 2
"Hey, beautiful."
"E-eh?"
Hana choked on her juicebox, gagging so hard that others began to stare. Once she finished choking, she glared at the new transfer student, furious and quite shocked at the events that had occurred right before her eyes.
The girl, Rock-or-something, just rudely flirted with Kou in front of everyone's eyes! Did she have no shame?!
The transfer student gave Kou a crooked smile, leaning back in her chair with her feet on the desk. This wouldn't be allowed during class, so this special free period(where no teacher was present to witness such a rude display) was given to the students since their english teacher was out with a cold. Not that the new girl needed any help with that.
Ignoring the glares Hana gave her, the girl continued her ramble.
"I'm talking to you, Sweetheart."
"EH?"
The new girl's smile widened as she saw Gou's face turn almost as red as her hair.
"Ha, you seem to have taken a liking to me," turning in her seat, she leaned toward Gou's face at an alarmingly close rate. Gou, who was used to the attention of males on a day-to-day basis, was completely foreign to the attraction of a woman. So what could she do besides feel flustered?
"Um, uh, I-"
"Hey! New Girl! Cut that out! Geez, you don't even know her! You can't just hit on someone you don't even know!," Hana yelled, causing everyone to turn to the disruptive bunch in the room, but they decided it wasn't worth their time and they resumed to their chatter(or, unpopularly, homework).
The new girl winced from the sudden boom in her ear. She turned to the girl behind her, giving her a nasty look.
"I wasn't FLIRTING-"
"You totally were!," Hana countered, matching the glare with one of her own.
"-I was just practicing my seduction skills on a girl, and so far, it worked," she finished with a wide smile on her face, leaving the other two girls sitting in shock.
"Eh?! You weren't hitting on me just now?!," an angry Kou shrieked, feeling like a fool for (accidently)falling for the new girl's trap.
"No-but I can if you want me to," the raven-haired girl purred seductively, causing Kou to blush once more and the new girl to laugh her head off.
Hana just sat and watched the odd American with a perplexed gaze. She wondered if all Americans were like this.
"The name's Randy, sweetheart, don't wear it out!," she responded, exploding in laughter once more. After several moments, she realized that no one was laughing along, and she abruptly ceased cackling, coughing into her fist.
"So, uh, um. Yeah. I'm Randy-"
"Eh? I thought it was Racquel?" Randy cringed at the Japanese pronunciation of her name. It sounded like someone with an enlarged tongue saying 'rocker.'
"Uh, that's my middle name. But, uh, it's girlier, so people at my old school called me that. But my friends call me Randy, which is my real name. So, uh, yeah. You guys seem nice," she said, going back to her over confidant mode, "so I give you the UTMOST permission to call me by my first name."
Kou and Hana shared a beautiful moment that could only be shared between two close friends. They had the ability to read the other's minds once they locked gazes, and they both silently agreed that the new girl was a psychopath. An absolute, full-on psychopath. Money back, guaranteed and all.
"Um, thanks," Kou said pleasantly with a smile, even though Hana could tell that her smile was a little TOO forced.
"So, what are your names?," the girl asked, turning around and sitting in the seat like a boy. Hana's eyes widened as she noticed that the girl was now sporting a revealing look from this angle, causing many boys to stare longer than necessary.
"She's wearing the same red panties," one boy whispered next to them, getting his friends to access and agree like the perverts they are.
Hana crinkled her nose in disgust at them, and turned back to face Randy, who only gave a warm smile.
Even though she seemed off-putting, the girl seemed friendly enough. Right?
"I'm Matsuoka Gou, but you can call me Kou-chan," Gou said pleasantly, sending a warning to Hana, who only stared at the girl in front of her.
"Erm, I'm Hana. Just Hana."
She didn't know why she was so dang flustered, but this girl was so...intense. At least her gaze was.
The girl smiled at them once more, leaning toward Hana with a pleading look in her eyes.
"Hana…," Randy said smoothly.
"Y-yes?," Hana responded, flushed for no good reason.
"Can I have your beef?"
"Eh?"
It was a tense moment between the three girls, as Randy had asked for the impossible.
She asked for Hana's food.
"Um, sure," Hana said hastily, pushing the half-eaten bento toward the famished foreigner.
"Oh, THANK GOD! I haven't eaten ALLLLL DAY, except for, like, some chocolate bars in between classes when the teacher wasn't looking, heh…," the girl rambled while she ate, giving her unwanted opinion on everything imaginable.
Kou and Hana weren't paying attention in the slightest. They just gave each other looks, trying to figure out what exactly had happened. Kou was surprised that Hana would give away her food so easily. Hana didn't really think about it when she did it, since her brain stopped working properly. But once she saw the girl in front of her gobble up her lunch, she felt a deep-seeded regret sitting at the bottom of her stomach.
"Oh, by the way, Kou," Randy turned to the girl with her mouth full of chewed up beef bits, which Gou DID NOT need to see, "I was gonna ask…"
"Y-yes?"
"Do you have a brother?"
"Eh?," both girls asked her in unison, wondering if she really was a psychopath creeper.
"No, it's just, you're so pretty, so I was wondering if you had a brother who looked just as good as you."
Hana sat in her seat and groaned. She didn't know if the girl was a psycho, but she was definitely a creeper.
"I do actually!," Kou beamed at the opportunity to boast about her brother. Hana didn't mind when she heard about 'The Amazing Onii-chan,' since he was smoking hot anyway.
"He's a swimmer at Samezuka Academy, which is a swimming school for boys! It's an elite school, and my Onii-chan was so lucky to get in! He's such a good swimmer, and his swim is the breaststroke, and-"
"-But is he hot?"
"Eh?"
Kou deflated when her grand speech about her one-of-a-kind brother was interrupted. She was also depressed at the sudden question, since this girl seemed to not care about her brother like she did, or like his friends did. She only wanted to know about his looks.
"Is he hot?," Randy asked again, growing impatient at Kou's stalling for the most important question.
"Um, I'm not sure…"
"WHAT?!"
"Relax, Randy, Gou-"
"-it's KOU!"
"-Kou doesn't know how to answer that question. She's his SISTER. She doesn't know that!"
A wave of realization flashed in Ricandy's eyes and she had the decency to look somewhat embarrassed.
"Oh. Uh, sorry."
Gou, who didn't like it when others were upset, tried to ease the situation with the wave of her hand.
"Now, now, it's alright! Hana," Kou turned, making Hana jump from the fire in her already red eyes, "is my Onii-chan...ATTRACTIVE?"
Hana KNEW he was, but she hesitated from the intimidating force in Kou's eyes. She had to answer 'yes' or she would be sure that her head would be chopped off later that day.
"Oh yeah, he's hot."
"How hot?"
"Um," Hana paused to think about what made Kou's brother attractive. She didn't know the guy too well, but each and every time she saw him, she found herself blown away by his attractiveness.
Hana decided to share this very sentiment with Rocker-or-whatever, made Gou roll her eyes, and Randy was grabbing onto her seat until her knuckles turned white.
"...REALLY?"
"Yes."
Randy searched Hana's eyes. SHE SEARCHED HANA'S SOUL. And then she started to squeal in the middle of the freaking classroom, causing people who still cared to look to stare. Which meant practically everyone(except for that one kid with the homework).
"OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIM!," she shouted with such enthusiasm that you could hear the extra exclamation marks in her voice.
"...do you really want to meet him that badly?," Kou asked, even though she already knew the answer to that question.
"Um, YES?! I mean, man, I didn't even want to come here-," she said rudely, which made Kou and Hana cringe. Noticing the shift in the air, she fixed it with, "-but at least I can FINALLY find a boyfriend! It's just, UGH! American boys SUCK! Like...they SUCK. I just want Sasuke Uchiha to propose to me with a rose in his hand…," she sighed dreamily, imagining if such a thing took place.
"Eh? You're otaku?," Hana and Kou asked in unison, completely shocked. Here, this vulgar, rude, brash, but very pretty girl in front of them did not meet up to the standards of Japan's most hated citizens. At least, that's what they THOUGHT.
"Hm? Oh yeah, anime is my LIFE, yeah buddy!," Randy smiled a genuine smile at the mention of her life's passion, and the two girls couldn't help but feel sorry that they misjudged the poor girl, when all she was going to be was hated by her peers for being an animation enthusiast. Or for her good looks. Or for the earlier incident. Well, whatever the reason, both girls knew something in their hearts.
She was going to be hated, just like them.
Kou gave Hana a look, which Hana returned.
"Hey, Randy…"
"Yeah?," she responded to the redhead.
"...wanna start eating lunch with us?"
