Mr. Bell was wiping down the bar as he prepared to close down the bar for the night. The place was empty with not a sole to speak of at all except for him of course. He looked at the bar one last time before turning to the wall to his rear. It was covered from top to bottom with pictures of soldier's and what one could merely assume was memorabilia from the war. All of whom were dead friends who either never made it off Omaha Beach or somehow got picked off one by one until V-E Day.
"All but for the grace of God go I" he said in a rather hoarse voice as he started to pace towards the front door
Before he could walk out for the night the sound of the door opening and closing up in front broke the steady silence. Mr. Bell reached underneath the counter and grasped the hidden rifle as he spoke out into the darkness "We're closed, your goanna have to go somewhere else."
A pair of smooth legs stepped out into the light as a woman dressed in a green evening dress and shimmering long black hair walked up to the bar "Sure thing honey but first could you give a girl a light?" she asked ask as she held a cigarette between her lips
Jack looked at the woman and as she appeared to be of no threat he let go of the rifle and pulled a lighter from his pocket, he clicked it producing a bright yellow flame the drew it closer to ignite the cigarette. "You have a name Miss?"
The woman looked up and gave a come get me smile "Shego you can call me Shego but it looks like someone else wants to make your acquaintance" the mysterious woman said a she pointed towards the door
A man dressed in a blue pinstripe suit with slick black hair walked up in front. "So Mr. Bell is it or should I just call you Jack? I hear you have made friends with Ryan, here's the deal you tell me everything you know about his little operation now or I'll paint the room with your guts." He said as he pulled a snub nose out and leveled it
Jack wasn't sure what this man was talking about but he wasn't about the let the Shego get cut down by bullets meant for him and stood steadfast by walking in front of her in order to shield her front the impending gunfire "I ain't doing anything until I know that the lady is safe"
There was a click of another pistol hammer and a snicker from Shego "Oh don't worry you can be sure of that."
"You have got to be kidding me with the Bonnie and Clyde act" said Jack with a almost snickering voice
"Hand's on your head where I can see them, Shego tie up his hands." the man said coldly as he threw her some tape
Shego did as ordered and bound Jack's hands behind his back before walking back over to the man in the pinstripe suit
"Who are you?" asked Jack with a curious glare
The man cocked the hammer on his pistol back before responding "My name is of no consequence but for now you may call me Drakken."
"Well then Drakken you should know that I ain't telling you shit! I didn't fight the Nazi's overseas to deal with pricks like you back home." Jack spat with eyes flaring
Drakken placed the pistol against Jack's forhead "I am not a man to be trifled with, now tell me what I want to know otherwise it'll be your head on a silver platter that I'll deliver to the boss."
Jack looked straight into Drakken's blacken eyes and began to speak "Staff Sergeant Jack T. Bell, U.S. Army Core of Engineer's, Serial Number 12-345-678. That's all your getting out of me!"
Shego giggled at this "Oh I love a man who plays hard to get and such a cute one even if he is a GI."
Drakken clearly frustrated with the delays punched Jack in the stomach "Didn't you learn anything about respect for men with guns in the army?" Jack said nothing and remained silent at this "No, well then how about luck?"
He pulled a coin and rotated it between his fingers casually "If it lands on heads you get to live with no repercussions but if it lands on tails I'll personally cut you open until your begging for death."
There was a moment of silence as Drakken stood and flipped the coin in the air. Jack closed his eyes ready for death. The coin hit the ground and rolled in front for the entire group to see. Heads.
"I guess its your lucky day, granted Frank ain't gonna be too happy but we both know that you'll get the message" said Drakken as he sheathed his pistol and walked towards the exit "Shego come on"
Shego flicked the cigarette on the ground as she began to apply black lipstick to her mouth. She knelt down over Jack as he kneeled helpless on the floor and whispered "Now you can tell all your friends you've got a kiss from death" as she kissed his cheek leaving a set of ebony lips as a gift.
Jack didn't have time to respond for almost as quickly as she had laid the kiss on his cheek she knocked him out with a firm kick to the head. Everything faded into darkness as he heard the sound of distant laughter grow fainter and farther away. He had no idea of what was to come and no clue that he would soon be front page news.

James sat on the wooden bench as he waited for the train carrying his wife and child to pull up to the platform. The train wouldn't be there for another five minutes at least so he decided to walk up to the newspaper stand and buy a copy of the morning print. As he drew nearer to the stand the headlines drew a most curious sensation out of him as he slipped the paperboy the usual payment and began to read the headline. "The New Bonnie and Clyde".
"Hmm interesting" said James as he began to dive nose deep into the article
