Me: Hey, guys. Here's the eighteenth chapter to Elise's True Love. Since you people are probably bored of asking questions, I'll do a little commentary from now on. You know, my brother watch the Donkey Kong Country TV show last week.
Sonic: Really? Did he enjoy it?
Elise: What episodes did he see?
Me: Yes he did like it. I heard him giggle each time something funny happens. YouTube has the episodes that our VHS copy of Legend of the Crystal Coconut had so he watched those first. Then he saw other episodes including my personal favorite, Klump's Lumps. Anyway, here's the story. Enjoy.
Chez Jordan, Chapter Three, The Promise Day 1
"An engagement ring? I mean, I won't say I hadn't thought about it," Elise said. "But...we've only just reconnected after being apart for such a long time. The inscription inside the ring is beautiful...'Love is the flower that grows right in front of you'. Is it too soon? I mean, in some ways it's like we never parted. What do you think?"
"Can you show me the bathroom? We have eaten too many blueberries," Daisy said. Elise giggled at Daisy's English practice in her translation book. So Elise and Daisy began the day with their new entertainer, Jordan's friend, Philippe. But in the middle of the shift, Jordan came in. He said he was looking for something important. Elise knew it was the ring, so she put the ring back in Jordan's coat pocket before he got back. When the day was over, Jordan came back and said he found what he was looking for. Elise told him she was looking forward to heading into the country.
Chez Jordan, Chapter Three, The Promise Day 2
The next day, Elise told Merlina about what happened last night and her decision on an engagement.
"And if he asks, I decided to say yes," Elise said.
"I'm so happy for you!" Merlina said. "When is he taking you to the country?"
"Not sure yet," Elise said. "I guess I'll have to try to be patient. What about you? Any news?"
"Not yet, but soon I think," Merlina said. "He's been acting secretive lately. Promise to be at my wedding?"
"Only if you promise to be at mine," Elise said, giggling. So Elise started the day at the restaurant. When the day ended, Jordan said he has a prior commitment but will call Elise later. Elise understood and the couple kissed. Then Jordan said he is taking Elise to his friend's house in the country with no excuses. Elise knew it was finally happening, Jordan is going to propose to her. Daisy felt happy for Elise.
Me: Who wants to bet that Jordan will propose to Elise? Anyway, I love the episode of DKCTV, Klump's Lumps, because it's very funny.
Sonic: Especially when K. Rool said "I don't want to hear one oops, whoops, or uh oh.
Elise: I always laughed at that part. I also laughed at the part where Krusha were literally acting like monkeys.
Me: I laughed at those parts, too. But also when Klump kept falling off the bridges at Cranky's house. It was funny, too. Anyway, don't forget to review.
