Me: Hey, guys. Here's chapter twenty-three to Elise's True Love. I just had pizza for dinner tonight.
Sonic: Really? How was it?
Elise: What kind was it?
Me: It was pepperoni and the crust had mozzarella inside. Boy would my brother love that. Anyway, here's the story. Enjoy.
Elise's Return, Chapter Three, Memory Lane Day 1
The next day, Sonic was delivering the flowers as usual when a little girl tripped and cried.
"Here now, let me look at your arm," Sonic said. "Oh, that's so that bad! Now what's that in your ear? Look, a flower!"
"So I heard you're moving to New Mobius," Elise said. "That's not true, is it?"
"I...I guess it's time for me to move on," Sonic said. "So...how was Mobius Europe?"
"Oh! It was uh...er...it was great! Yeah, really great," Elise said.
"That's...that's great. Really...great," Sonic said. "Well, I gotta run...busy day. Bye, Elise." So Sonic left the restaurant as Elise began to feel awkward from that conversation with Sonic. Jackie said all that flirting with other guys have made him uncomfortable. But Elise didn't think of that conversation as "flirting". Then Elise saw a vase with a rose and marbles inside the vase. But Jackie dropped the vase and lost the marbles. So Elise went to find them through her shift. When the day ended, Jackie asked Elise go with him and a couple friends of his over at the Mobian bar but Elise was tired right now. So Jackie left as Elise picked up the rose and smelled it.
Elise's Return, Chapter Three, Memory Lane Day 2
The next day, Elise walking with the puppy May gave her. Elise really loved the puppy and wanted to keep her.
"She's not out of the woods, yet, but she's getting there," Elle said.
"I'll just um...I'll just keep her upstairs," Elise said.
"Puppy! You're so fluffy!" Jackie said. "Could I please teach her some tricks today?"
"OK, but don't let her wander around," Elise said. Jackie taught the puppy to jump over a hoop like how circus animals do to entertain the customers. So Elise began the day with Jackie's help. When the day ended, an old monkey came in and looked around.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we're closed for the day," Elise said.
"Do forgive me, young lady," the monkey said. "You see, I used to own this place, back when it was a five-and-dime."
"Oh my gosh! You must be Cranky Kong," Elise said. "I loved Kong's! My parents took me to your store all the time when I was a kid! I even met your grandson and his friends when I was sixteen."
"I like with what you did with place, makes me feel right at home," Cranky said. "Back in high school, I used work there, behind the soda fountain. There was a girl...she used to sit at the counter everyday after school."
"Don't tell me: You got married and lived happily ever after?" Elise asked.
"That would have been nice..." Cranky said. "But at that age I only had eyes on Miley Aperus or Amy Chimplee...then one day, I was in charge of the place. And the girl...she finally stopped coming. Thank you for the trip down memory lane...I'll leave you be." Then Cranky left the restaurant as Elise felt bad for him.
Me: Well, that's the end of the story.
Elise: Hey, Emilie, what inspired you to add Cranky Kong to appear in the story?
Sonic: Yeah, adding a character from the Donkey Kong series sounds cool.
Me: Well, I was playing Donkey Kong 64 today right at the puffer fish boss when I thought 'Hey, why don't I add some Donkey Kong character in any of my other stories.' And this came. But Cranky won't be the only character to appear, DK, Diddy and the other Kongs will appear in other stories. Anyway, don't forget to review. Don't complain about Cranky appearing.
