Me: Hey, guys. Here's the twenty-fourth chapter to Elise's True Love.
Sonic: Hey, Emilie, what is that lump on your arm?
Elise: Yeah, it looks and shaped like an egg.
Me: Oh, I was trying to get the pizza out of the oven last night but I touched one of the hot areas and now I have a blister. But don't worry, I've dealt with things like this before so it's nothing serious. Anyway, here's the story. Enjoy.
Elise's Return, Chapter Four, One Last Cry Day 1
The next day, Elise saw that her room was really messy. So she cleaned it up and saw Sonic's rose and it still looked fresh. It had a letter that said:
"There is nothing more beautiful than the flower that grows right in front of you."
Elise blushed when she heard her mother downstairs. Elise was mad because her mom has a key. Sonic was there, too.
"Hi, Sonic! I didn't think I'd see you again so soon," Elise said.
"I wanted you to have one last set of decent centerpieces before I left," Sonic said. "Goodbye, Elise."
"Sonic? Your flowers!" Elise said. "They always look so fresh and vibrant...I just now noticed."
"Often it's what's right under your nose that's hardest to see," Sonic said. Elise giggled and said she noticed that, too. Then Sonic left as Elise, Elle and Jackie began the day. When the day ended, Cranky came in with some friends. One of them had a balloon that said "Bon Voyage".
"And this used to be the old five-and-dime, remember?" Cranky asked.
"Mr. Kong, you came back!" Elise said.
"I'm moving back to Kongo Bongo tomorrow, me and my friends are doing a last tour around Mobius," Cranky said. "Time goes by so fast...appreciate what you have, it won't be there forever."
"Elise, have you seen my purse? I forgot where I left it..." Elise's regular, Wrinkly Kong, asked.
"No, I don't think I've seen it," Elise said.
"Cranky? Cranky Kong?" Wrinkly asked.
"Wrinkly! I thought I would never see you again!" Cranky said. Wrinkly said she has been a widow for a long time now so she moved to Mobius to be with her grandchildren and that she comes to Elise restaurant to remember her time in the restaurant many years ago. Then Cranky changed his mind of moving to Kongo Bongo and decided to stay in Mobius. After Cranky left, Elise wanted to tell Jackie about her trip to Soleanna.
Elise's Return, Chapter Four, One Last Cry Day 2
The next day, Elise thanked Jackie for listening to the story about her trip.
"Are you kidding? Do you know how many free lunches your story was worth?" Jackie asked. "Every friend we have in town is dying to know what happened."
"Well, cash in all you want," Elise said. "I have zero desire to ever tell again."
"I'm just glad you're okay," Jackie said.
"Sonic!" Elise said.
"Hey, Elise. I forgot to tell you Jack will be calling tonight," Sonic said. "Something about the flower delivery, he said May hates sunflowers."
"Sonic, hurry up or we'll be late for the family dinner," the female hedgehog said. So Sonic and the female hedgehog left and Elise still thought that girl was Sonic's girlfriend. Still Elise didn't feel upset as she began her shift. When the day ended, Dan came in with a package from Soleanna. Inside the box was a gold model of the clock tower and Jordan's letter. Elise began to cry Sonic came in and gave Elise a rose. Elise saw the rose but Sonic was gone.
