Chapter 4

Musa's eyes widen as the Prefects led everyone to the painting that doubles as the dorm entrance. The stairs moved on their own, there were ghosts everywhere and the paintings were alive! After Musa stopped in the dorms to check out her room for the rest of the year, the trio met in the gryffindor common area to meet Ron for a game of wizard's chess. They kids ended up having to teach Musa how to play but in the end she found it much more entertaining than the muggle version. After a while they got bored and drifted away from the chessboard, as they were all moving to the couches a couple kids started an argument with Harry about the Dark Lord's 'supposed' return. When the argument reached its peak with the kid insulting Dumbledore, Harry stormed off into his dorm. Musa stared off in the direction he went for a second before she was ambushed by kids wanting to know about her. Musa glared at the kids. Between their rude attitude to Harry and their sudden mood swing to focus on her she was irritated with the brats, being surrounded by kids sucks sometimes.

"All you need to know about me is that I believe Harry about this Voldemort's return. And if he is, in the end, right it's best to be prepared. As the muggles say, better safe than sorry." Then Musa pushed roughly through the crowd and went to her dorm.

That night Musa wrote a short letter addressed to all the Winx girls at Alfea and two separate letters for Bloom and Stella telling them about this hidden magical world on Earth and how her time undercover is going so far. Then Musa went to bed for the night.\

Slithering down a dark tunnel,

A bony hand with long nails,

A door appears at the end of the tunnel with a door handle directly in the middle of it.

I can hear a snake and see a crystal ball glowing among many other crystal balls.

The owner of the hand appears in front of me he is bald and has slits for a nose He reaches for the crystal ball but then turns and looks at me curiously.

Musa shot up in bed gasping for air and sweating. "Are you okay Musa?" Musa turns to see one of her roommates, Lavender Brown, sitting up in bed looking at her concerned. Musa took a deep breath. "I'm fine. It was just a nightmare you can go back to sleep." Lavender hesitated but nevertheless laid back down and Musa waited for her light snores to start again before throwing back the covers and going down to the common room planning to sit down in front of the fire and try to calm down but suddenly hears a panicked gasp from the direction of the boys dorm stairs. Musa tiptoes up the stairs and looks into the room the gasp came from quietly. Harry sat in bed panting for air and sweating. Ron sat awake in bed watching him worried but didn't say anything. Musa frowned and walked back down the stairs. What were the chances of the two of them having that bad of nightmares the same night, that close together? She decided not to sleep more tonight since it was already 4 am. Instead she took a shower and finished her charms essay while she waited for everyone else to wake up. 3 hours later people began filing through the common room to go to breakfast and Musa followed them down to the great hall.

After she finished eating Musa got her schedule and found out that she did indeed have every class with Harry as the Order said she would. When they finally got to Defense Against the Dark Arts, DADA, a couple girls enchanted a paper bird to fly around before class. It was flying above the girl's desk when it suddenly burst into flame and fell onto her desk burnt up.

Everyone went silent and turned to look at Professor Umbridge.

"Ordinary, Wizardry, Level, Exams. More commonly known as OWLs. Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and the consequences may be... severe." She let out a quick giggle and then with a wave of her wand, the textbooks for this year distributed themselves.

"Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven. But you'll be relieved to know you will be following a structured, ministry-approved course."

Hermione hesitantly raised her hand and was called on by Umbridge.

"Mam', there's nothing about using defensive spells in here?"

Umbridge giggled again before replying.

"Defensive spells? I fail to see why you would need to use spells in my classroom."

Ron frowned, "We're not going to be using magic?"

Umbridge began again, "You will be learning in a safe and risk-free environment!"

Harry spoke too, "What use is that? It won't be safe and risk free when we're attacked." Umbridge's bipolar attitude quickly got angry.

"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class! It is the view of the ministry, that theoretical knowledge will be enough to get you through your examinations which is after-all what school is all about."

Harry frowned, obviously very irritated with the ridiculous notion.

"And how is theory suppose to prepare us for what's out there?" Harry was obviously getting to Umbridge as she was getting worked up.

"There's nothing out there! Who do you think would want to attack children such as yourselves?"

"Oh, I don't know maybe Voldemort?"

The classroom went completely silent before Umbridge froze and composed herself before quietly speaking up.

"Now let me make this very clear. You have been told that a certain dark wizard is at large once again. This. Is. A. Lie."

"It's not a lie I saw him! I fought him!"

"Detention Mr. Potter!"

"So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord."

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident!"

"IT WAS MURDER, VOLDEMORT KILLED HIM! You must know.." Once again Umbridge lost her calm. "ENOUGH!" She took a deep breath before continuing, "enough...See me later Potter. My office."

Finally Musa was done putting up with this argument, this woman was at catastrophic level moron and Harry was not helping the situation with his temper. Musa slapped her hands down on her desk and stood up to the confusion of the rest of the class. They were all wondering what the new student could possibly have to say about this topic.

"You mean to tell me that as a full grown women, you're still naive enough to believe that people don't get attacked? That YOU can't be attacked?" Until this point Musa had been angrily looking at the desk. Now she looked up and met Umbridge's eyes unwavering, fire burning in her eyes.

"I have seen battle, war, and death! None of which, by the way, was from this Lord Voldemort! But they were still dark wizards, none of which even needed wands to kill millions! I have felt loss! I have been specifically targeted by dark witches, and dark creatures! I know how Harry feels and you dare say he lies! What idiot would come up with a lie as outrageous and unbelievable as that?! And even if, for some Merlin forsaken reason, he was lying? It irrelevant! Lord Voldemort is not the only threat there has ever been and won't be the last threat in the world either!"

Umbridge was practically shaking with rage and shock. "Silencios!" Umbridge waved her wand shooting the silencing spell at her, despite the damage already having been done. With a simple wave of her hand, Musa flicked the spell away insulted by the very idea of someone silencing the fairy of music.

"Ms. Horne you will join Harry in detention after class!" Musa lowered her eyebrows in challenge Umbridge before she finally sat down and looked straight forward face completely blank of emotion.
"Of course, your highness" Musa bit out sarcastically.

After class Musa ignored Hermione and Ron questioning Harry about her and walked alone to potions. Musa figured out quickly that apparently news travels fast around here because when she reached her next class Snape seemed to scowl in her direction less. Musa noticed what seemed to be a hidden glint of ...admiration in his eyes. When the trio made it to potions they immediately stared at Musa silently, deep in thought. Musa ignored them and made conversation with Luna who wasn't nearly as nosy as other students.

At the end of the day Musa met up with Harry outside the DADA classroom. He looked at her curiously before speaking.

"I didn't tell Ron and Hermione about how you're a fairy, I am curious though... Wizards that don't even need wands?"

Musa simply shook her head letting him know she didn't want to answer any questions right now. He nodded respecting her request even though he seemed a bit frustrated. "Thanks for speaking up for me in class." She gave Harry a small smile,

"No problem. That's what friends are for."

The pair walked up the stairs to Umbridge's office and knocked.

"Come in!" They walked into a completely pink office, the walls covered in plates with cats on them.

"Good evening Ms. Horne and Mr. Potter. Please take a seat." Harry and Musa sat down at a couple of desks that were set up in her office. On each desk there was a single piece of paper and a feather.

"Today you will be writing some lines for me. Please write I must not tell lies." Musa rolls her eyes but pick up the feather. Harry sighs, "How many times?"

"Lets just say as many times as it take for it to... sink in."

"Professor, you haven't given us any ink?"

"Oh you won't be needing ink."

Harry frowned in confusion but Musa narrowed her eyes in suspicion. Regardless of their feelings the two picked up the feathers and began writing I must not tell lies. After Musa had written the phrase a couple times she began feeling a sharp pain in her left hand. She started stretching her hand trying to make it go away when she heard Harry breath in sharply and clenched his hand too. Musa watched her hand as she wrote her anger growing as I must not tell lies appeared in loopy scrawl she knew to be her handwriting. Professor Umbridge smirked at their reactions. Musa looked up at her with a scowl.

"Yes?" Musa sighed, irritated with herself that she was about to even say this.

"Nothing."

"That's what I thought, because deep down you both know, you deserve to be punished."

They both got up and left after about an hour. Harry and Musa walked back to the Gryffindor common room in silence. When they entered everyone went silent and stepped aside, away from Harry and Musa. Musa shook her head at the pettiness of children before giving Harry a knowing look. He shook his head and walked to his dorm, head down. Musa watched him go up the stairs before she too headed to bed.

That night Musa slept relatively peacefully with no nightmares. In the morning she woke up to find Parvati working on her hair in front of the mirror and Hermione's bed empty, apparently already down in the common room. Musa yawned and stretched her arms before climbing out of bed and getting dressed. She walked out to the common room just in time to see Hermione notice Harry's hand.

"Harry what's wrong with your hand?" Harry told her nothing and showed her his right hand. Hermione shook her head.

"No the other one." She grabbed his hand and gasped. Curious Musa had walked towards the couch but after hearing that she froze a few feet away.

"Harry you have to tell Dumbledore!" Musa subconsciously pulled her sleeve down, wanting to avoid Hermione's reaction, but before Harry could tell Hermione that he wouldn't tell Hermione noticed Musas movement. She gasped even louder, rushed over to Musa and grabbed her hand too.

"You too?! Please tell me you're going to tell Dumbledore!" Musa sighed, there was no way she was going to give up the satisfaction of dealing with the Umbitch herself. Harry, on the other hand, responded. "He's got enough to deal with right now."

"And we don't want to give Umbridge the satisfaction of knowing she got to us. Right Harry?" He nodded. Hermione wouldn't give up though.

"You must report this! It's perfectly simple its..."

"No Hermione! It's not simple! Whatever this is it's not simple! You don't understand." Harry then proceeded to shut his book and walk away. Hermione looked at Musa eyes full of worry as Ron got up and walked away too.

"Can you help me understand? This and what's going on with you?" Musa just looked at her quietly and shook her head.

"Not yet Hermione. Not today. There's more going on than you think." Musa then walked away too leaving Hermione alone on the couch.
