Chapter 6
Musa glanced up at the clock from her book and realized it was ten O'clock. Smiling she stood up and walked towards the painting that was the door to and from the commons only to be stopped my Madison.
"Please don't do this Musa. I don't want you to get hurt!" Musa laughed at the small blonde first year.
"Have a little faith in me Maddie. I can hande myself but if your that worried you can come with me." Madison stopped and thought about it before nodding, accepting the offer, and following Musa out of the commons and to the shrinking shack.
"See I told you that the girl was to wimpy to actually come and duel an expert like me." Draco smirked as he turned to leave only to turn aroud and end up two inches away from Musa who looked like her face was about to split from the huge smile on her face.
"You sure you just weren't hoping that I wouldn't show so you wouldn't have to fight me Malfoy?" Draco's face twisted into a snarl and he stomped five feet back before raising his wand. "How about you try speaking with your magic?" Musa smiled.
"Try me you bloody git."
"Expelliarmus!" Musa dropped and rolled to the right dodging the spell then popping up and pointing her wand at Malfoy.
"Carpe Retractum!" A rope came shooting out of her wand and wrapped around Malfoy's ankle pulling him towards her. Frantically Draco shot the first spell that came to mind at her.
"Aqua Eructo!" A stream of water came straight at Musa and she released the rope to cast a counter.
"Impervius!" The water bounced off her and she ran towards Draco smiling.
"Mucus ad Nauseam!" Draco ducked as Musa's spell flew at him and it hit Goyle instead causing his nose to start running and him to cough. Draco narrowed his eyes and turned to Musa.
"Deprimo!" Musa yelped as she began to feel pressure on her. Her shin cracked and she whimpered but yelled out another spell.
"Calvario!" Draco frowned confused as he felt no effect until he realized his hair was falling out. Distracted Draco released his hold on Musa who fell to her right knee holding her left shin. Draco screamed out in fury as he held a clump of hair in his hand. Then spun around and shot off another spell.
"Diffindo!" Musa's eyes widened as she recognized the spell. She forced herself to stand and dove to the side just missing the spell. The leaves right where she was a few seconds before burst into peices, Shredded by the spell. Malfoy smiled.
"Expelliarmus!" With no energy left and still frozen in shock of the last spell Musa's wand went flying. Malfoy's smile disappeared as he shot the last spell.
"Crucio." Madison screamed and dove for Musa. While Musa simply raised her hand and closed her eyes as the spell flew towards her.
"W..W...What was that?!" Malfoy's jaw dropped as Musa's eyes flew open, Crabbe and Goyle passed out and Madison gasped and crawled backwards away from Musa. Musa dropped her flickering red shield she had made than used her fairy magic to bring her wand to her hand.
"Petrificus Totalus." Draco's body went stiff and his eyes widened as he used all his power to try and reverse the spell.
"Incarcerous. Obscuro." The first spell tied draco up and making him fall over. The second put a blind-fold over his eyes.
"Silencio." Then Musa used the spell of silence to make it so he couldn't call for help.
"This is your punishment for using an unforgivable curse. I'll come back in the morning to see if anyone let you free. If they haven't I may think about letting you go. But for one last touch. Since you like dying your hair... " Musa countered her spell earlier that made his hair fall out causing it to grow back instantly before throwing one last one at him.
"Colovaria." The bright spell hit his head and his hair changed to as bright of red as Blooms hair. "Have some hair the same color as those you have the guts to call blood traitors." Musa stared at the nmoving body of Malfoy in the snow then turned to Crabbe and Goyle.
"Obliviate." Then she turned the boys and sent them back to the school threatening to jinx them if they told a teacher that she was out after lights out and before they could see malfoy on the ground. Then she pointed her wand at her leg, "Episkey" She hissed as her fractued shin healed in a split second.
"What was that Musa?" Musa turned towards the small girl she had almost forgotten was there. Madison was sitting on the ground shaking with her wand clenched in a small fist. Musa sighed and walked over to her before getting down on one knee with her back to the girl. "Get on. There's no way you'll be able to walk back to the school shaking like that." Madison kept shaking but when she spoke next her voice did not waver.
"Not until you tell me what just happened." Musa sighed and shook her head. This complicated things... She did admire the girl for her unwavering stubbornness even though it was a pain.
"I'll explain everything later. One, I won't explain in front of Malfoy; two, its hours after curfew' and three, I'm exhausted." Madison nodded accepting Musa's explanation before grabbing onto Musa's shoulders and holding on. Musa stood up and bgan the walk back to the castle. By the time they got through the castle unnoticed and to the gryffindor girls' dorms Madison had fallen asleep with her head limp on Musa shoulder. Musa sighed and layed the girl down on her bed and pulling the covers up over the Madison before turning and collapsing in her own bed thinking to herself, 'Why did things have to go so wrong?' Then she fell asleep, to exhausted to dream.

The next morning...
Musa woke up and headed straight to the Room fo Requirement. She had been in there for about twenty minutes when Hermione walked in just in time to see Musa through a particularly powerful, what would be painful, spell at the dumby.
"Yikes. Glad your not actually dualing anyone in here. I'd be a little worried for their life.." Hermione said it jokingly but it struck a nerve and she threw another spell at the dumby to keep her irritation to a minimum.
"Sectumsempra!" The dummy fell apart and collapsed to the floor unmoving. Hermione's jaw dropped open.
"Yikes... What happened? You normally don't use such violent spells. You usually stick to disabling spells, binding spells, and ones good for pranks..." Musa sighed and decided it would be best to atleast tell someone since Draco was probably still tied up in the woods and if left to her, he would stay there.
"I dualled Draco Malfoy last night." Hermione's jaw dropped. Something that seemed to be happening alot around Musa a lot very recently.
"Did you loose and now your pissed or something? Cause if that's the case you should just be happy he didn't use some severe curse on you. Musa sighed and stuck her wand in her boot then turned to Hermione and walked past her.
"Follow me." Hermione waited a second confused, before hurrying to catch up with Musa as she walked purosefully towards the exit of Hogwarts. When the two walked past the Grand Hall Madison noticed them and took off after Musa.
"Musa! Wait up! We need to talk about last n...Oh.. Um Hi Hermione..." Hermione raised an eyebrow but didn't slow down, not wanting to loose Musa.
"Madison? Were you there last night at the dual?" Musa turned her head. "You can come too Madison. I was just taking Hermione on a trip to the shrinking shack." Hermione frowned but followed her there silently. When the three girls got to the shrinking shack Madison grimaced and Hermione yelped at the sight of Draco.
"M..M..Musa? Did you leave him here all night? Tied up and blindfolded?" Musa nodded to Hermione and Madison spoke up in barely a whisper.
"And silenced..." Hermione rushed over and tried to untie him unsuccessfully. "How did you tie him up? I can't undo these knots!" Musa sighed and pulled out her wand.
"Move aside Hermione." Hermione's eyes filled with horror and she stepped in front of Draco with her arms spread.
"He may be an arse but he doesn't deserve more than what you've already done." Musa rolled her eyes and laughed softly.
"Believe me Hermione when I say this. He deserves much worse than what I've done to him. BUt don't worry I was just going to let him free."Hermione frowned and glared at Musa but stepped aside.
"Relashio. Rennervate." The first spelled released his bindings and blindfold while the second revived him of being stunned. Draco sat up and instantly tried to get up and run.
"Locomotor Wibbly." Draco's legs turned like jelly and he fell over.
"Don't you dare try to run you sniveling weasel." Than she turned to Madison.
"Either you can tell Hermione what he tried, Draco does, or Hermione can think of me as evil." Hermione was shocked and Madison sighed before looking around Musa and the shaking boy on the ground. The decision was obvious. Madison turned to Hermione and bagan to explain.
"Musa and Draco had an incident a while back in which Musa insulted Draco's greasy hair. Yesterday he challenged her to a dual and she accepted. I toold her not to but she came and dualled him. He manged to get the uperhand and broke her shin. Then he disarmed her. That should have been the end of the dual but then he used the ... the... crucio curse." By the time she actually said it her voice was barely a whisper. Hermione turned and through a punch at Draco only to be stopped a few inches away by Musa grabbing her arm tightly.
"Aren't you the one who said he deserved nothing more than me leaving him out here tied up, blindfolded, silenced, and with red hair overnight?" Hermione turned to Musa. ABout to explain that nothing made up for a crucio curse when she realized something.
"How did you stop the crucio with a fractured shin and no wand?" Madison frowned and turned back to Musa from Hermione. "That's what we were all wondering." Now it was Draco who spoke up. He stared past the three girls at a tree behind them as he spoke.
"All she did was raise her hands and close her eyes, all of a sudden there was a flickering shield that was red, and blue inbetween her and the curse. I don't know if anyone else noticed in all the craziness but when the crucio hit her shield her whole body started glowing while her hair flicked around in the air as if she was inside a small tornado of wind."
Musa raised an eyebrow, Madison frowned, and Hermione pursed her lips in thought.
"I didn't realize you were that observant little red..." Malfoy glared at Musa because of his new nickname but didn't make a move against her.
"Anyways. We should all get back to the castle so people don't get suspicious. We all have places we need to be." Draco scowled and stomped off towards the castle. Musa rolled her eyes than turned and began the walk back to the castle as well.
"I'll explain as much as I can to you two on the way back to DADA club practice." Hermione and Madison looked at each other before hurrying off after Musa.
"I'm not sure what all I can tell you. But for now I'll just tell you guys that I'm not a plain wizard." Madison snorted at the explanation so far.
"Thats pretty bloody obvious." Musa glanced at Madison but continued speaking.
"I'm something else. Not just a wizard. I'm able to do things a wizard shouldn't be able to do. Things that I learned at my old school, Alfea College. Yes, college. Don't ask about that. That's a complete different story. Anyways, these things I can do... my friends can do them too but we each specialize in different areas. My friend bloom is good with fire, my friend Flora is amazing with nature, and I guess you can say I'm good with sound? My other friends have specialties too but that's probably all I can really tell you guys for now."
Hermione didn't say anything but kept walking. She was thinking depth about what she knew about magical creature that take human form like wizards. All she could think of at that second were 'fairies, too small and not that powerful; mermaids, not fully human were half fish; and maybe... elementals? But elementals hadn't been seen in centuries. They also were believed to only be about four or five of them, one for each element. Though people weren't sure if any subelements had an elemental or not. So what could Musa possibly be?'
Madison on the other hand wanted to know more but was just glad that her friend had finally told her something and therefore was in a better mood.
So please review and let me know what you think of this chapter! I think it was a much more serious chapter but after this one we will get back to the Harry Potter story line a little bit more!
