Chapter 8

The rest of break Madison, Layla, and Musa spent telling stories and getting to know each other. Madison started dating Jared (First year from the boats, Gryffindor) and Layla gave Musa a gift from the winx as a group.

"The girls and I had this made my Faragonda and Griffin for you. In a time of great need this will allow you to unlock great power if the spirits approve of you." Layla handed Musa a small locket encrusted with a sapphire on the front. Inside was a picture of the winx together on graduation day. Musa smiled and hugged Layla.

"Thank you so much. Tell the girls that I miss them and I'm very grateful for the locket. I know you all must have drained yourselves making it even with Faragonda and Griffin's help." Layla smiled and pulled Musa into a hug before stepping back into the fireplace and throwing down the floo powder.

"Faragondas Office!" Green flames erupted around her and when they went down she was gone. Suddenly Madison burst through the door of Dumbledore's office where Layla had just flooed from.

"They're back! Vacation's over!" Musa ran out the door with Madison close behind heading straight for the courtyard. When they reached the courtyard they shoved their way through the crowd and reached Harry and Ron at the same time as Hermione did.

"Harry! Hagrid's back!" After hearing that from Hermione; Harry, Ron, and Hermione took off running away from the school doors. Confused Madison and Musa took off following right on their heels. They all ran down a long path towards a small hut at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. But when they reached there they stopped because they heard Umbridge's voice.

"For the last time, I order you to tell me where you were!" The group tiptoed up to the window and looked into see the pink professor talking to a large scruffy half-giant.

"I told ya! I been away from me health!"

"Your health?"

"A bit of fresh air ya know."

"Oh yes. As gamekeeper fresh air must be hard to come by. If I were you I wouldn't get to used to being back. In fact, I might not even bother unpacking at all." Then Ubridge stepped out of the hut and all the teens scrambled for cover. After a second Umbridge pulls out a bottle of perfume and sprays herself then the door before walking away back to the school.

A few minutes later Musa, Ron, Hermione, and Harry entered the hut while Madison headed back up to the school for a meeting with a teacher she needed to make.

"Now, This is top secret. Dumbledore sent me to talk to the giants." Hermione gasped.

"Giants?!" Hagrid's eyes bugged out.

"Shhhhhh."Musa spoke up this time.

"You found them?"

"There not that hard to find to be perfectly honest. They're so big ya see. I tried to convince them to join the order but I wasn't the only one trying to win them over." Ron spoke in a whisper.

"Deatheaters..."

"Yes. They're tryin' to persuade them to join you-know-who." Harry spoke next with the question we all were wondering.

"Well, did they?"

"I gave them Dumbledore's message and I suppose some of them remember that he was friendly to them..." Harry motioned to the slab of meat Hagrid was holding to several cuts and scratches on his face.

"And they did this to you?"

"Not exactly, no." Everyone went silent as suddenly the breeze picked up blowing straw across the floor as it came through the cracks. Hagrid stood up and walked to the window with a frown on his face.

"It's changing out there. Just like last time. There's a storm coming Harry, and we best all be ready when she does."

The next morning the group learned of a breakout at Azkaban. Bellatrix Lestrange and many other known deatheaters escaped the night before. The papers were all blaming it on Sirius Black. Because he supposedly was a known criminal and had experience escaping Azkaban. Musa was disgusted.

"This isn't right! Just because the Ministry doesn't want to acknowledge the return of Voldemort, they blame everything on an innocent man with no evidence to back them. There is much more evidence of Voldemort's return than there is of Sirius's guilt!" Harry sighed at Musa's point.

"We know Musa. But we also expected that they would pin these sorts of things on Sirius. Padffot better keep under the radar." Hermione nodded agreeing with him and Ron just seemed confused by the muggle saying. Musa sighed but nodded. The group lowered their voices as they entered the Great Hall.

"Dumbledore warned Fudge that this would happen. He's gunna get us all killed cause he can't face the truth."

"Harry!" The group stopped and turned to find Seamus standing up.

"I.. I wanted to apologize. Me mum says the prophet says a lot of false things... so what I'm really trying to say is, I believe ya." Harry nodded then turned and walked off with Hermione and Ron at his heels. Musa hesitated though.

"He may not say it but that really means alot to him. That something that's bugged him. After all he's gone through that people still talk crap about him and don't believe him so thank you so much." Musa then turned around and walked out of the Great Hall as she walked past the doors she made eye contact with Draco who was standing in the doorway by some slytherins not really listening to his mates conversations. She gave him a slight head nod then left after he returned it.

After classes the DA (Dumbledore's Army aka DADA Club) started their first meeting since the holidays. Today they were working on only the patronuses. Anyone who already had their's learned would be helping others.

"Remember a happy time but make sure its a strong memory. The happiest thing you remember! Allow it to fill you up! A full body patronus is the most difficult to produce. But it can protect you against a variety of things." Then Harry walked around stopping at Luna and helping her out real quick. Musa looked around at the patronuses appearing than disappearing just as fast.

"Remember! It can only protect you as long as you stay focused so focus!" Musa walked past Ron and smiled as his patronus dog knocked several people off their feet. Suddenly the door started opening and everyone froze whispering.

"Who could that be?"

"Everyone is here..."

"Is it over?"

"Is it Umbridge?" Even Harry, Hermione and Ron were confused and froze. Suddenly Musa smiled and walked towards the door.

"About time he got here." Everyone turned to look at her confused. Then Draco Malfoy walked in and the doors shut behind him.

"Well hello to you all too." Draco gave a fake smile then turned to Musa with a smile.

"So you didn't tell them?"
