Sorry For the late post, but at least this chapter got finished before I expected!
Eliza
"Good luck Koschei." I mutter, handing him some clothes that Grace told me to give him. "Who is the guy with the armor that says absolute zero? I feel like I have seen him before." Koschei growls, as I start to walk back to the streets. "If I remember correctly. Grace and Skylar's father is Absolute Zero Silver… and he could be one of the two demons that came for Grace and Skylar." I answers before walking back onto the streets.
As soon as I step out of the alleyway, I practically run right into one of the demons. "Watch your step Mi'lady." The demon mutters as I recognize who he is. I give a slight curtsy and walk quickly towards Grace and Skylar. Damn I really got to start being careful about where I walk. I almost got caught.
Grace
If it wasn't for Skylar being right next to me I probably would've ran the second I noticed my father in the town. Thank god Eliza and Koschei went down the alleyway before they were spotted… Eliza quickly walks out of the alley, practically running right into my father, giving him a slight curtsy before walking over to me and Sky. "That was close." She whispers as we start walking down the street again. "Yeah. Did you get Koschei the clothes?" I reply. "Yeah. I don't see how you do it." Eliza whispers again, even though no one else is whispering on the street. "Do what?" Skylar asks. "Get kidnapped and when we come to rescue you, take over the mission and save the rest of us at least ten times before we are even out of the place." Eliza answers as I notice where we are. Only ten more minutes till Chesney's house… 15 minutes until the edge of Cube.
Skylar
"We are close to Chesney's." I mutter realizing what Grace is thinking about. Eliza looks somewhat surprised, but understanding while Grace just nods her head.
As soon we reach the outskirts of the town, Grace signals us to a bench. We are going to wait for Koschei there. After about ten minutes he shows up, looking as drunk as ever. "Went into the wrong pub, Koschei?" Eliza teases, and Grace chuckles. "Isn't it weird. Every Vendor that I stopped at said something about a Lady Niana and Skyland?" Koschei says. "Skylain, Lady Skylain." I correct him. "Okay. Is there something that I should know about them? And why did when that Demon Lord person approach Eliza, she quickly introduced herself as Lady Elizabeth?" Koschei Growls. "Isn't it weird Grace, being called by our real names?" I giggle, not used to my own name. "Yeah." Grace joins in. "Wait! WHO IS SKYLAIN AND WHO IS NIANA! AND HOW DID YOU GET YOUR CURRENT NAMES?!" Koschei yells causing Chesney's door to slightly open. "We'll tell you once we are inside." Grace says getting up as me and Eliza follow her into Chesney's house. "Great. We are going into a Demons house."Koschei mutters, walking into her house. "I am not a demon." Chesney mutters as I notice Raven, David, Catherine, and Nevmino sitting on her couch. "You know we were just about to make our way to the castle… but Miss Lullabye said it would be dangerous to walk through the city in our current clothing, and none of us felt like changing." David says smirking, causing Grace to slap him. "It has been a long time, Niana." Chesney says smiling. "Yes it has. I am surprised you haven't tried to escape again." Grace replies. "Okay can we now tell me who Lady Niana and Lady Skyland is?" Koschei asks catching everyone's attention. "SKYLAIN! S-K-Y-L-A-I-N. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!" I yell at him and everyone else laughs at my sudden correction. "Okay, whatever." Koschei mutters. "You don't go by your real names anymore?" Chesney asks, and I nod my head in answer. "What are we talking about?! REAL NAMES WHAT REAL NAMES?!" Koschei yells waving his arms around. "You really are dense if you haven't figured out what Grace and Skylar's real names are by now Koschei." Eliza chuckles.
Alright sorry for such a short chapter, but I want to save the reunion for the next chapter.
