Chapter TWENTY! (Whoop whoop!)

CPOV

I woke up at 8:30 when my alarm beeped and sat up on Jace's bed rubbing my eyes. Jace was still asleep next to me. I smiled at him as he mumbled something in his sleep. I leaned towards his sleeping body and kissed his cheek. His mouth curled into a cute smile and he opened his eyes.

"Good morning." I whispered, Jonathan was still sleeping. Isabelle had taken Simon to our room so I went to sleep with Jonathan and Jace.

"Good morning." He whispered too.

We had decided to go to ski that day, so everyone settled their clocks to wake them up at 8:30, so we would have time enough to eat a good breakfast and get ourselves ready.

I got up and went to take a quick shower since we had only two showers in the house and there were eleven of us. I quickly washed my hair and body, turned the shower off and went to the room I shared with Iz. I was relieved that Simon was already out of our room. I liked him yes, he was a good kid, but he was after all Izzy's boyfriend and it would be a little weird to have him in the same room when I changed my clothes.

I put on my black simple bra and matching panties. I blow dried my hair and braided it into two loose braids that hung down on my shoulders so it would be a huge knot in the evening. I pulled on my black thermal underwear to keep me warm under my skiing clothes. I put my extra warming socks on aswell. I decided not to wear any make up, it would just be ruined in the cold.

I walked to kitchen to see my mom and dad sitting there drinking their morning coffees. Isabelle was at the fridge, looking something to eat.

"Umm, Isabelle. I can make us breakfast. Can you take the orange- and apple juice for me please."

Isabelle glared at me for a moment but then smiled and took the juices. I took eggs and broke them onto a big pan. I made a huge amount of omelet and put some toast into the toaster. To that point everyone was sitting in the kitchen and I placed the pan middle of the table. When everyone's stomach was full we washed the dishes and went to get our outdoor clothing. Our parents didn't want to come with us, they said that they were too old for skiing. Yeah, right. They just want a teen-age-free day I thought.

I pulled my black ski pants on and grabbed my red jacket. I took my black helmet and warm gloves along my ski goggles and walked to our garage to put on my black snowboard boots. I hated putting those boots on. They were so rigid. But skiing boots were twice as horrible as these snowboard boots were. They were made of hard plastic and made walking really awkward-looking. But I loved snowboarding.

Next one who came to put their boots on was Alec. He had a black ski jacket and grey ski pants on, no surprise there. He always wore either black or grey. He had also a helmet in his hand and goggles.

"Snowboard or skis?" I asked as I tightened my boots.

"Skis. I barely manage with them." He laughed. I had a black and red Burton's snowboard that mom and dad had gave to me. The background was black and the text 'Burton' was written along the board with red.

"Yeah, maybe you should stick with skis." I laughed with him.

Alec had troubles with tightening his boots so I offered a helping hand.

"Why are these always so hard to tighten?" He asked as I pushed his boots' buckles down.

"I really don't know." I murmured. When I finally managed to get all the buckles down I stood up and looked around us. While I was busy with Alec's buckles, Jace, Jonathan, Magnus and Simon had came out as well. Only Isabelle wasn't there. Jace had his snowboard boots on along Jonathan. Magnus and Simon were helping each other to push the buckles down on their ski boots. Magnus had a bright blue jacket and black ski pants, Simon had green jacket and black pants and Jace had white jacket and black pants.

Jace walked to stand behind me and wrapped his arms around me, resting his chin on my head. We waited Isabelle for 5 minutes before she rushed out of the door in his white pants and pink jacket. I laughed and shook my head. That was so Isabelle.

Half an hour later we all had our ski passes hanging from our jackets.

"Is everyone okay with it, if we separated now and meet up two hours later at the café there?" Jonathan asked pointing a ski café on top of the high hill. We all agreed and seaprated into pairs or groups. Jonathan was coming with me and Jace.

"Okay, where first?" I asked. Jace looked at Jonathan and he shrugged.

"How about that chairlift over there?" I asked.

"Okay, let's go then. Should we use this T-bar lift first to get up and then we could go down to that chairlift easily?" Jace asked.

"Yeah, you guys go first, I come after you. You are both over 6''1 tall, it will be easier if you went together." I said.

Both of them looked at me doubtfully. "I'll be right behind you, come on guys." I rolled my eyes as I pulled my helmet on along the goggles.

After a while I was first on the line, getting on the lift. Jace and my brother were in front of me, the T-bar between their legs so they were facing each other. I tugged the bar between my legs and it pulled me with it. Ah, how I've missed this. I thought as I watched as Jace and Jonathan almost fell, Jace grabbed Jonathan's sleeve and Jonathan's hands were on Jace's jacket as well. I laughed and took my phone out of my pocket. I took a picture of them and laughed my ass off so I nearly fell, too. The boys looked at me smiling and Jonathan laughed.

Finally we were on top of the hill with out falling off of the lift. I put my other foot on the board next to the other and attached it. Then I pulled my goggles down to cover my eyes and jumped 10 meters to the edge of the hill. Boys followed me and we slid down to the chairlift.

1,5 hours later we were on our way to meet the others at the café. I skied down the hill and Jace was right behind me. I turned my way to the tiny forest on my left and Jace followed. First everything went well but then some root poked out of the snow and my snowboard stuck and the buckles opened and I flew in the air at least 5 meters before crashing down and rolling until I hit a tree. Jace was kneeling next to me in five seconds, taking off my helmet. He put my head on his lap as I gasped for air. Little by little I managed to get air into my lungs and after awhile I sat up.

"Are you okay?" Jace asked stroking my back.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Damn that root. I'm going to smash it into million pieces." I said glaring at the root.

Jace bursted into laughter and I did too, I hadn't manage to broke any bones so I felt good. I had some snow under my jacket, though.

"Come on, Flyer, let's go." Jace said pulling me up with him.

"Jerk." I said to him and he just winked.

I went to get my board and attached my feet on to it and put the helmet back on.

Rest of the day went well and we all had fun. It was dark when we finally were at the cottage again. We all crashed down onto couches since it had been a long day. Four days until christmas I thought. It was my favourite holiday. We decided to go to sleep early and go skiing the next day again.

I went to the boys' room again to sleep with Jace. I took a quick shower and changed into my PJ's, then went to wait Jace to come from shower. I shivered from cold and pulled the duvet over my body. I lied down and closed my eyes.

I woke up middle of the night. I felt my stomach turn around. Oh shit. No, no, no. I thought as I got up from the bed and ran out of the room and to the bathroom across the hall. I emptied my stomach to the toilet as I felt someone rubbing my back. I looked up after I stopped throwing up and saw Jace looking at me concerned.

"I bet that was the sandwich I ate at the café." I said smiling weakly.

"Hope so. Are you feeling okay enough to get up? You're hot, and I mean like feverishly hot. You're hot hot too, but.." He said.

"Yes, I don't feel sick anymore." I said and Jace helped me up. I washed my mouth and let Jace guide me back to his bed. Jonathan was now sitting on his bed rubbing his eyes.

"What's going on?" He whispered as Jace closed the door.

"Clary threw up. But I think it's from the fever. She's literally hot. Could you go and get a bucket just in case? And a thermometer too, please?" Jace asked. Jonathan just nodded, got up and went to get them.

Jace helped me to lay down and came next to me. He pulled the duvet over our bodies and I snuggled up into his chest. I closed my eyes as Jace stroked my hair. I shivered in his arms and all of my limbs were aching hard.

I woke up again as Jace shook me gently. I opened my eyes and sat up.

"Here, put this into you mouth." He whispered.

I opened my mouth and Jace put the thermometer in. It beeped a minute later and Jace took it out.

"Oh baby. You have 102.2 degrees fahrenheit." He said hugging my shaking body against his warm body.

I just nodded and lied back down. Jonathan settled the bucket next to me on the floor. And kissed my forehead.

"I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight, so I won't bother you guys." He said and took his pillow and duvet and went to sleep in the living room.

" Close your eyes baby, I'm right here." Jace whispered into my ear and kissed my nose.

"I love you." I said to Jace before I fell asleep.

I love you too. So much. was the last thing I heard.
