Chapter 15

(Hiccup's POV)

It's a beautiful day (apart from the fact that demons from hell are after us), and I'm going for a swim. Stoick said we leave for earth first thing tomorrow and he's giving us this time to relax. I changed into a pair of swimming trunks (I borrowed them from the cabinet in my room) and strode outside for a swim.

Corwin was still asleep (obviously) and I heard someone screaming something about murder. I stopped midstride to listen and heard a door slam shut.

I shrugged. Girls.

As I rounded the corner of the house, I saw Xerxes already in the pool. He beckoned for me.

"Hey Hiccup," the little boy said. "I've got water guns…" He said the last few words in a playful taunting way.

"PSSH," I scoffed. "I'm too old for this."

Xerxes just grinned and pulled himself out the pool. Dripping wet, he ran to the shed and came out with the coolest, largest, most amazing water guns I have ever seen in my life.

He waggled his eyebrows. "Are you sure?"

"Nope," I laughed as I jumped into the pool. And while I was airborne, he tossed me a sleek, black water gun.

I splashed in the water and quickly put water in my gun. While I was doing this, Xerxes snapped his fingers and I saw water immediately fill up in his gun.

"Hey how did-" I sputtered.

"I'm a god, remember?" he winked then did a cannonball into the water, hitting me in the face with it.

"No fair," I muttered. I sprayed him with my gun and it worked fantastic. Crystal clear water hit him in the face and he fought back. Before long we were spraying each other and splashing each other with water. I was so absorbed in destroying Xerxes I didn't hear the glass door behind me open.

Xerxes sprayed me with so much water I back away till my back was touching the edge of the pool. A shadow loomed over me as I fired.

"Hey guys," the shadow spoke. It was Merida.

"Hey," Xerxes and I replied in unison; still absorbed in our game.

Merida laughed. "Looks like you're losing, Hiccup,"

"I'm not losing to a ten-year-old-" I said as I turned around…

And felt my jaw hit the ground.

If I was in a dream, I don't ever want to wake up.

She looked like an angel; the sun behind her acting as her halo. Well, an angel with the sexiest blue pairs of bikini I've ever seen. It hugged her every curve and I was itching to see what it would be like to touch her. Her flaming red hair was loose and fell in soft curls around her. Her bright blue eyes sparkled with mischief as she looked down at me.

Oh, did I mention I've got an awesome view of her magnificent long legs from here?

"Cat got your tongue, Hiccup?" She said, amused.

With my mouth still wide open, I could only nod.

Then she laughed.

And while she was laughing, I got out the water and pushed her in the pool. She gave a yelp of surprise as her perfect body hit the water. I jumped in right after her and she came up, gasping for air.

"Why did you do that?" She yelled as she pushed me away playfully.

I just smiled and came closer, encircling my arms around her waist underwater. She stilled and her breath caught as I leaned in to whisper in her ear, "You lost the bet."

Suddenly, a roar sounded and we both snapped our heads up. I only saw something black flash before my eyes before we were engulfed in the pool's waves. Whatever this thing was, it made the whole pool into a wave pool.

I swam frantically, suddenly afraid of drowning. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I broke through the water, gasping for air. Then I opened my eyes to see Toothless in the pool with us.

"Toothless," Merida gave him a shove in the head. "You almost gave me a heart attack!"

I was going to join her in scolding my dragon when I noticed it.

Blood.

The water surrounding Toothless was flowing with blood.

I swam as fast as I could to my Source. I patted him and focused my mind into his.

What happened, boy? I thought.

His reply sounded choked. You have to run… he was breathing harshly. Demons…*harsh breathing* …attacked me.

Hearing his answer, anger boiled in my veins. In that moment, I felt Toothless' pain. It was excruciating somewhere down my leg.

It bit me… he gasped, hearing my thoughts.

"What's wrong?" Merida looked worried.

I turned to her and explained. Her eyes grew wide and she asked Toothless, "Is it still here?"

He weakly nodded.

Suddenly, Merida's eyes glowed green. For just a second. Then it was gone. And in its place, a look of determination showed.

She climbed out the pool with Toothless' blood running down her legs. I'm not going to let her fight a demon alone.

Stay here bud, I thought towards him. I'll be right back with tuna.

Wait, he said just as I was turning away. Don't forget your sword.

He closed his eyes touched his forehead against mine. Then a sword appeared out of my hand and I smile gratefully.

I nodded and it took all of my willpower not to turn back to Toothless and help him. As I pushed myself out the water and looked back, Xerxes was already helping Toothless. He nodded at me and I ran.

And as I ran to the front of the house, my sword flamed red. There I saw Jack, Kaira, and Rapunzel still in their pajamas.

Well, sort of. Rapunzel is, but Jack was shirtless and as for Kaira…

Well, I am a guy.

Her long, golden tanned legs were pretty distracting.

Then I heard a low, metallic growl.

I whipped my head to the direction of the sound and there stood a demon.

Stoick was immediately at my side, some sort of weapon draped at his side.

Xerxes was taking care of Toothless, Jake is right there, so where's Corwin?

I looked and looked, but saw no sign of him. Then, I heard a low growl behind me. It was Corwin.

He was fully transformed into a demon, all red and angry.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" I have no idea what hell was like, but I bet it smells like his breath.

"Hello brother," the other demon replied. "I came to talk to you."

(Merida's POV)

You know, probably by the time I die, I'll be able to figure out in the end that everybody is actually related to everybody.

Oh yeah. I owe Hiccup gummy bears.

Focus, Merida. Focus.

I could tell Corwin was as shocked as we were.

"What are you talking about?" he said. "I don't have a brother."

The other demon laughed a dry laugh. His voice was about three times deeper than Corwin's.

"She never told you, did she?" he said in a low voice. "Mom never told you."

"Don't play games with me!" Corwin yelled. "Who are you?"

"I am Abbadon and although we don't have the same father, we do have the same mother so technically we're brothers." Abbadon explained with some nerd mockery.

"What?" Corwin's guard seemed to be let down. "You're a demon. So is your dad a demon or a leader of them?"

Abbadon laughed. "Yes my father was a demon. In fact, he is Appolyon, Demon of Destruction mentioned in many religious books."

"So you're a half-demon," I said.

"No," Abbadon replied. "Half-demons always stay human. They don't have the ability to shape shift into an actual demon. I'm a full-blooded demon."

"But if we have the same mom," Corwin said. "Then you must be a half-demon. If what you're saying is true about us having the same mom, then she's a human."

Abbadon sighed and transformed. His red skin disappeared, his fangs, claws, and horns. And in his place stood a man.

Abbadon was handsome in a rugged-bad-boy way. His dark hair fell over his grey eyes and he had tattoos on his muscular body. He wore a black shirt that hugged his fit form and jeans that cupped him in the right places.

He's so my type. Let's see if his personality is my type as well.

"I came here to look for you, Corwin. Mom wants to see you," I watched as his grey eyes grew softer with each word he spoke to his brother. "A hellhound bit her."

Corwin's eyes widened. "Where is she?" he asked, worry lacing his voice. "She won't last long. She only has about three hours max-"

"Twenty-four," Abbadon said. "I told you she's not human. She's a succubus."

I nearly choked. "Isn't a succubus some sort of sex demon?" I asked.

No one replied. We were all looking at Corwin's pale face. He weakly nodded.

"That explains everything," his voice sounded weak; betrayed. "The men's attraction to her, her beauty, her ability to know everything there is to know about boys and girls, and more."

Abbadon nodded. "Sorry little bro."

I was amazed at seeing this huge, aggressive demon that hurt a dragon; now soft and understanding towards someone he has never met in his life.

"We have to get to Mom soon before she passes," Abbadon said. "I tried reasoning with the Reaper (I even threatened) but he has given her only those few hours to live."

Corwin nodded. "I'll summon a gate to take us there. Where is she?"

"Europe. Paris," Abbadon replied. "Just take us near the Eiffel Tower, Cor."

Jack and Hiccup groaned. What was wrong with Paris?

Corwin nodded and then I blinked.

When I opened my eyes, I was shocked to see us transported in front of the Eiffel Tower in a blink of an eye. I looked down to see myself still dressed in this bikini. I felt myself blush red as tourists stopped to stare. Everyone else was still dressed the same way they were when we were at the house.

"Ok," Abbadon said. "Everyone lie low. I know a shop here where you guys can change." Then he turned to Corwin.

"Rest," he told him as he held his shoulder. "Summoning that gate drained almost all of your energy. This is your first time, yes?"

Corwin, looking very pale, nodded.

Jack and Hiccup were acting weird. They kept covering their faces with their hands or arms. I wonder why…

"Is there any shop here where I can get some gummy bears?" I asked.

Hiccup took his hands away from his face log enough to give me a smug grin. Suddenly, a scream filled the air.

"Oh my god it's Hiccup H.!" A high-pitched voice screamed behind me. Hearing the commotion, more british girls came running.

Jack's eyes widened.

"JACK FROST!" They screamed and charged.

"Run!" Jack yelled and we did.

We looked ridiculous by the way. Running in our bikinis and trunks, being chased by the British.

"Marry me Hiccup!" I heard a girl behind me scream and I groaned in frustration. Abbadon ran beside me and I heard him mutter something under his breath.

Then to my surprise, the girls stopped chasing. I turned around to see them looking confused and bewildered. They started wandering around, as if lost.

"What did you do to them?" Rapunzel questioned the tall man standing beside me.

"Let's just say I messed with their memories a bit," Abbadon gave me a lopsided grin and my heart did flip flops.

French toast, why did he have to be so cute?

Rapunzel turned to the boys behind us. "WHAT IN THE FACE OF THIS PLANET IS GOING ON HERE?"

Hiccup held up a hand. "I can explain. I am a singer and Jack is an actor. Let's just say we got famous overnight because of how ridiculously attractive I am."

I rolled my eyes.

"Great," Abbadon murmured. "Just what we need; two demons and four heirs of the Big Four being chased and tracked down in Paris."

"They won't notice us, right?" Corwin said. "I mean, we look human enough."

"It's not that simple," Kaira interjected. "These streets are infested with vampires. Make a wrong move and-"

"They get a huge bite," Jack finished.
