I think this might be another short chapter, but I will try to make it longer than the last one. Lately, I've been trying to get my stories posted faster, so they ended up shorter. I apologize for that. I'm also hoping that this chapter will get the plot moving more. And since there's been quite a lack of Ikuto, I will try to get him in this chapter.

"Do Re Mi Fa So La Tiiii," Amu tried to hold the note out, but gave up rather quickly.

"You're not breathing properly Amu," Utau said, crossing her arms, "If you want to do really well in Karoke, you've got to learn to breathe properly. It is essential to any singer and actor,"

Amu sat back, drinking a bottle of water, "I never came to realize how difficult it was,"

Utau sat across from her, checking her phone, "I had two different voice coaches when I was 12,"

"That young? I thought most girls didn't take voice until they were 14…"

Utau shrugged, "It depends. Usually around 14 is the best to start, because your voice is almost fully developed. They wouldn't start you at 7, or anything,"

Amu got up, deciding to take a walk, "Listen, I need to get some air. I'll be back in a while,"

"Alright. I'm going to go get a smoothie. I'll see you later,"

Both girls got up and headed in opposite directions, not knowing what was going to happen next.

-----------------

"Dude, that's the fourth smoothie you've drank!" Zack exclaimed, shocked by Kukai's endurance.

Kukai just grinned in victory, "Let's just say I like to win,"

"Yo, Ramen Boy," The twintailed girl came up and sat next to Kukai, "Waiter, a large pineapple smoothie,"

'Wow, she's tough… I've got to ask her out!' Zack thought to himself. "Coming right up!"

"So idol-san… you here for a challenge?"

"Actually I didn't see you there… But now that you mention it… Bring it on, boy," She declared with a competitive face.

"First one to finish their smoothie without giving in to brain freeze, wins,"

"Aw, that sounds like fun…" Zack mumbled. "Why does all the good stuff happen when I'm working?"

Ignoring the strange blonde haired boy, the two had already begun their contest. So far it looked like Kukai would win, but he had a painful look on his face. Meanwhile, Utau was slowly taking the lead.

Zack just looked back and forth between the smoothies. He didn't know who to root for, and he certainly wasn't going to take his chances.

But the duel ended in an unfortunate draw. They both gave into brain freeze at their last sip. "Next time, idol-san, we do something less frozen,"

"Agreed,"

"That. Was. Awesome! I want to go next!" Zack grinned.

The duo shook their heads, "Oh no you don't,"

Tadase paced back and forth in his room.

'Hinamori-san… for the longest while, I've never really thought of you as… No, that's harsh…' He'd be in his room the whole day, trying to figure out how to tell his pink haired-beauty that he had feelings for her.

'Let's try this again…'

---------------------

"Hi London. Why are there two members of the Hoshina party with you?" Bailey asked, concerned.

London smiled, "Glad you asked, Bailey. You see, Yaya and Yaya here are both expert people manipulators. Watch. Yaya, if you would," She turned to Rima.

"I've told you. My name is Rima," She corrected her, before calling a boy over, "You, boy. Over here, now,"

"Y-yes, Lady Rima!" The boy shrieked with joy. "How may I be of service?"

"Smoothie. Small. Orange. No pulp,"

"Understood!" He ran off, as Bailey watched in shock.

"See? Wasn't that amazing?"

"You trained them to be like you?"

London laughed, "They were like this before they met me,"

"Londy-chan, Yaya's bored!"

London sighed, "Well if you're so bored, why don't you hang out with Bailey and her pigs?" London said with uttermost disgust in her voice.

"She has piggies!? Yaya LOVES piggies! Can Yaya play with your piggies?" Yaya begged.

"Sure. I'm Bailey. And I'd assume you're Yaya?"

"Yaya is Yaya!"

The two went towards Bailey's cabin room, while Rima sat still in her lawn chair. "These servants take too long,"

"Tell me about it!"

"So what you're saying is my brother stole your love letter, thinking it was an acceptance to a Japanese Basketball School?" Cody asked sarcastically.

"Look, I know this probably doesn't mean much to you-" Nagihiko tried to reason.

"No, no. If this a plan to get revenge on Zack, I'm willing to do this. Last month… he stole my German scholarship letter!"

Kairi looked amazed, but Nagihiko just sweatdropped. "Do we have any ideas on how to get my letter back?"

Both boys thought quietly until they both came up with an idea. "Why don't you try that?"

"You mean?"

"Yes,"

'Singing sure is hard…' Amu thought quietly. She didn't think that it took a lot more effort to be able to sing. She was always taught it was talent and passion alone. Amu would have to take the time to appreciate and admire Utau more.

She could hear a violin in the distance, which broke her stream of thought. 'That sounds familiar… Could it be…?' She ran to the source of the sound, and found none other than Ikuto playing his violin.

"Ikuto…"

"Yes?" He asked, still playing.

"How come you're playing here?"

"Practice,"

She sighed. She thought that was obviously apparent. She looked over at the waves. She blushed, 'You know, this is kind of romantic,'

"Lost in a romantic fantasy, little strawberry?" He teased.

She pouted, "I am NOT little! I'm just an inch shorter than when you were seventeen,"

"More like a foot,"

She growled at him. It was always like him to do something like that. Make a moment and break it in two. "Anyway, we've got dinner reservations at 6 at the Sky Deck restaurant. Don't be late,"

"Just the two of us," He teased again.

"E-everyone in our party," She stammered.

Though he was slightly upset he'd have to share a dinner table, he did get some joy seeing and teasing Amu, so it didn't matter.

Phew, that's done! That was also rather short, but I've got more chapters to come! The most I will do is 10 chapters.

I've planned to get this story done by Sunday. I don't have school today or Friday, so I'll have plenty of time to finish. You might expect to see another chapter today. It will be a surprise if you don't. And then, once this is done, I can release my new oneshots! *is physced*

So please R&R! It means a lot! :3
