Hey, sorry for the super long update. I spent so long writing this! I can't really think of anything anymore and I have a lot of homework lately (plus fights with friends and nothing new happening with my crush) I don't really have a ending in mind for this story anymore. Hopefully I can finish this story soon.
"Koizumi." Natsume called.
The said girl twirled around and batted her fake eyelashes.
"Oh? How rare, Natsume-kun." She said sweetly, playing with her strawberry blonde hair.
Natsume narrowed his eyes.
"How did you get that picture and why did you put it on the papers?" He demanded.
Luna gave out a light chuckle.
"I was just walking around. Who knew I could find such an amazing scene." Luna said laughing.
Natsume gritted his teeth, willing himself to stay calm and not turn her into ashes.
"Hmm...As to why I did that," She tapped her chin as if in deep thought. "It's 'cause there were no entertaining news recently so I decided to help them." She smirked, flipping her hair away from her face.
Natsume growled at her, his hand on fire.
"What is it that you want?" He hissed.
Luna laughed.
"I never liked that Mikan. Always smiling like an idiot. I just wanted to ruin her." She smiled sweetly.
"If ruining her means to hurt the people around her, then so be it."
Natsume banged open his room door.
Laying on his bed, he draped his arm over his eyes and sighed.
Damn, why does everyone want to ruin their relationship?
He laid his arm on his torso and spent the next 2 hours staring at the ceiling, thinking.
Finally, he stood up and went to the bus stop.
Arriving at Central Town, he stuffed his hands in his pocket and walked around.
Going from shop to shop, his eyes finally landed on the Howalon shop.
Unconsciously, he bought a box of Howalons.
Sighing in frustration, he made his way back.
"Oh hey Natsume, you're back." Kitsu said, and looked back at his deck of cards.
Natsume gave out a slight 'Hn' and went to sit in his chair.
"Hey isn't that Howalons?" Nono asked as she looked at the small box on his lap.
"Speaking of Howalons, you guys want to go visit Mikan?" Koko suggested.
"Oh yeah! We didn't see her in class today." Anna agreed.
"Yep. Let's go visit her!" Mochu added, earning a cheer from their friends.
The group made their way towards her room.
Holding the box of Howalons, Natsume knocked on Mikan's door.
He waited patiently for her to open the door.
One minute...
Two minutes...
Three minutes...
As the time ticked by, Natsume started to get impatient.
"Why isn't she opening?" Sumire whispered.
He knocked again and when she didn't answer the door for the fifth time, he stepped back.
"Ruka." Understanding what he means, he stepped forward, next to Natsume.
Giving Ruka a nod, they braced themselves.
"3...2...1!" Breaking down the door, the gang ran into her room.
They searched every corner, but she was no where to be seen.
He dropped the box of Howalons and ran out to find her.
The gang glanced at each other and followed him, hot on his heels.
Running around the school, they looked all over for her.
They went into their classroom, telling Narumi about the news.
They also went to the Special Abilities class, telling her classmates and Noda.
Soon there were search parties all over.
Everyone was calling her name, searching in every possible place.
Teachers ran around trying to control the chaos, but the students only fought back tenfold.
Alices started to run wild through the school and yet still no Mikan.
Teru stepped aside, watching in awe at how important this girl is to everyone.
Chuckling lightly, he made his way to his room.
Natsume buried his head in his hands. His room was ice cold.
"This is all my fault." He kept muttering over and over again.
He stayed in that position for heaven knows how long.
Breaking the silence in his frozen room, he heard quick taps on his windows.
Growling loudly, he refused to acknowledge the taps.
However, whoever was on the other side of the window was quite persistent.
Growling again, Natsume curled himself inside his blankets and tried his best to block out the noise.
Natsume woke up with jump.
For a second he thought he heard Mikan's voice.
Looking at the window, he found a small bag, a note attached.
Confused, he took the note and scanned through it.
I told you I would get her.
- T. Ikeda
His eyes widened and quickly dumped out the contents of the small bag.
Her alice stone.
The only thing that registered in his mind was: How the heck did he get that!?
Something inside him snapped, and everything went black.
Natsume woke to the sound of someone banging on his door.
Sitting up straight, he lightheadedly looked at his surroundings.
Fire.
The Mikan's alice stone have melted into nothing more but a dull orange puddle.
The sound of sirens, screams, cries filled his ears.
"Natsume! Natsume you in there? Natsume!" Someone was banging on his door.
He heard his name again.
He left them be. It wouldn't be her, anyways.
"After all, she's with him." He thought grimly.
It was strange.
He felt empty, all those things called emotions that a human posses, are no longer there.
All of a sudden he laughed.
An empty, heartless laugh that echoed over the sounds of raging fire.
Walking towards a smashed mirror, he looked at himself.
Expecting the pair of crimson eyes that he hated, instead the mirror reflected black eyes.
His eyes have turned black.
He shrugged, not feeling anything nor feeling surprised by the change of his eyes.
He sat laid on his bed and closed his eyes, blocking out all the noises.
When the fire dyed down, almost nothing was left.
Natsume took a good long look at his surrounding.
Smirking, he realized that his fire was too strong and that the teachers and students couldn't put it out in time.
The walls had melted and most of the ceiling had crumbled down.
Nothing survived in his neighboring rooms.
He noted that the other half of the dorms were still perfectly intact.
Casually, he made his way outside.
Teachers and students surrounded the burnt-down dorm.
Gasps were heard as he walked out of the ruins casually as if walking through a park.
Immediately, the teachers went up to him, looking for burn marks and other wounds.
Jinno looked surprised at the change of his eyes but ignored it.
"Natsume Hyuuga! What has happened? Are you the cause of this petrifying fire?" Jinno asked strictly, electric sparks shot out of his pointer.
Giving him a twisted grin, he stated calmly.
"And what if I am the cause of this?" Obviously not like being challenged, Jinno's eyes hardened.
"Why did you do this?" Jinno demanded.
"Why can't I?" Natsume countered playfully.
Jinno was at the verge of electrifying him to death.
"Tell me now!" He said hollering.
"My alice went out of control and I didn't care to control it again." Natsume answered shrugging.
"This is unacceptable." Misaki scolded, joining in their fight.
Natsume was getting more and more pissed every second.
"I did it ok? If you want to punish me then do it quickly. You idiots are wasting my time." He snapped at the two teachers.
"Indeed he would need some sort of punishment." Narumi said, walking towards the trio.
Smiling playfully at him, Narumi put a finger under his chin, pretending to think.
"I wonder what Mikan-chan would think of this." Hearing her name, he snapped his head at Narumi and growled loudly.
Grabbing his shirt collar, Natsume spat in his face.
"You know where she is."
Smirking mischievously, Narumi replied.
"Maybe."
Natsume raised his fist above his head, ready to punch him in the face.
He was centimeters away from Narumi's still smirking face until the other two teachers quickly pulled him away.
Struggling with all his might, Natsume was dragged to the school's underground dungeon.
Teru was watching the commotion from his room and was struggling not to laugh.
It seems that he received the little gift he had sent.
"Hey." Turning around, Teru gave out a big smile.
"Hey, Luna." The said girl smiled back with her plump red lips.
Sashayed towards him, she winked at the door.
"Akemi." Teru called at the closed door.
"You can come in." Opening the door shyly, Akemi stepped into the room.
Motioning for her to come over and join them.
She grabbed a chair and pulled it next to her brother, sitting close to him.
Giggling, Akemi hugged Luna happily, like good friends.
"How'd I do?" Luna asked as she inched closer to Teru, shooting him a wink.
Grinning back at her and giving a wink of his own, he answered.
"Not bad, Luna, not bad at all."
Well, I honestly don't know when the next update will be. It could be as fast as a few weeks and as long as a few months. Just wait patiently and I might update within days if I get loads of reviews! Hehe. Please R&R!
