Chapter 1: Zombies ate my Classmates
The characters don't have quirks! So it won't be easy for them to deal with the zombies!
Also! This was inspired by Manga/Anime, "High School of the Dead" because goddammit was that anime the coolest to 11-year-old me! It was literally one of my favorite Anime because of the whole Zombie thing and I'll admit some of the female characters (Fuck you Rei) were cool and sexy!
Anyway, here's the first chapter of the story! I hope you enjoy it!

Izuku looked in horror as he stared at the dead body of his crush, whose skull he had just bashed in.
'My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm 15 years old and I attend a private school called UA High...'
He then looked over the other end of the observatory and saw the dead body of his best friend, who had jumped off the roof to save him, and tears began to flow as the realization of what he had just done struck him like a ton of bricks.
'My father Hisashi works overseas in the US and my mother, Inko, works as a nurse...'
Izuku then looked at the other side of the railing only to see thousands of living corpses that were once the students of UA High. Once teenagers who only cared about grades and social status, now they were nothing but mindless beings craving the sensation of ripping through flesh to eat their fellow man.
"What the fuck...?" Izuku muttered under his breath. His tone was sad as he gripped his bat, and the tears still flowed down his cheeks. "WHAT THE FUCKS GOING OOOOONNNN!?" He cried out in sadness, anger, and confusion as he looked out to the sea of the dead.
'And the night before the end of the world... I had stayed up,'
1 HOUR EARLIER:
Izuku Midoriya leaned against the railing of the outside stairwell, his breath was a bit ragged as he had just escaped his bullies, and because of his running away from the bullies, he had missed half of his next class, which was on the other side of the building, so he decided to wait till his next class at take a break.
'Oh man... those guys aren't letting up,' Izuku thought with a groan as he looked out to the school's front ground/gate.
"Well, I'm not surprised to see you here, Midoriya,"
Hearing that voice, Izuku turned to his right and saw none other than Mina Ashido, who was in the same class as him and was also a recent friend due to one of his best friends, Ochako Uraraka, spending a lot of time with her. She had pink hair, bronze skin, and golden eyes that seemed so unnatural yet rather charming and hard to look away from.
"Ashido? What are you doing out here?" He asked her with a confused expression.
Mina shrugged, "Skipping class, hate English," She replied. "But as I said, it's not a surprise to see you here Midoriya," She told him.
Izuku was once again confused, "Why? I don't skip class as much as you do," He rebutted.
She snickered, "True, but this is your go-to place to hide when Bakugou and Monoma start beating on you," She said.
Izuku rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. He hated being bullied by the two students, one who was his old friend since childhood but now turned into his tormenter, and worse, he never stood up for himself and it made him look like an idiot, he hated it when they did it in front of Uraraka.
"You need to stand up to them, ya know, you can't let them just keep walking all over you," Mina told him.
Izuku sighed, "Uraraka's been telling me the same... ugh, she must think I'm pathetic," He groaned.
Hearing those words come from the boy made her beam, and she smiled from ear to ear. "Oh, so it's true! You do have a thing of Uraraka!" She said with glee.
Izuku blushed, "I-It's not!" He cried out.
Mina, however, did not buy a single word that was coming out of his mouth. "Oh, it's so obvious you like her! Even Iida can see it!"
Izuku blushed even more and he groaned, "I can't believe it's that Obvious!" He cried out, "Does... Does she know too?"
Mina chuckled, "Nope, lucky for you, she was clueless, which makes it easier on you in a way," Mina replied.
Izuku was about to reply but never had the chance to say anything as a bang was heard on the gates of the school and the two young teens turned to see what had caused the noise only to see a man slumped against it as if he was tired. However, he grabbed the bars of the gate and then began to shake it.
Mina was confused about what the man was doing. "What the hell?" Mina said.
Izuku's brow rose, "Who is he? Some creep?" He asked.
In a few seconds, a few of the staff arrived at the gate and approached the man, however, they opened the gates for some reason and the man walked for a bit before collapsing, much to the staff and the two students' shock. However, once the man fell, the two teens got a good look at his back and saw blood on the back of his shirt.
Izuku's eyes widened with horror, "What the hell happened to him!?" Izuku cried out in shock
Mina gasped and put her hands over her mouth.
The two continued to watch what happened as the school staff approached the man, one of them kneeled down to see if he was ok, and looked for a pulse, but as soon as his hand touched the man's neck, the man sprung up and but the staffer's hand so hard that he completely tore off a piece of the hand.
The Staff was in shock as blood gushed out like water, and the staff who was bit fell to the floor, shaking violently for a few seconds before he suddenly stopped, and the man who had bit him slowly got up to his feet and walked slowly toward the rest of the staff.
"O-Oh my god...!" Izuku cried.
"Is... Is he dead!?" Mina asked in horror.
As if on cue, the staffer who was bitten, slowly sat up, and then got to his feet, another of the staff raced over to him to see if he was ok, but when they were close, the bitten staff member pulled them close and sunk their teeth into their necks, spraying blood everywhere.
"HOLY SHIT!" Mina cried in horror.
Izuku backed away from the railing and looked at the scene that took place. He had no idea what was going on, but he knew it wasn't at all good, so he quickly looked at Mina, still terrified. "W-We have to tell the class!" He told her.
Mina just nodded and the two turned back and ran up the stairwell and toward their class, and eventually, they reached it, they quickly opened the sliding door and looked at their teacher, Mr. Aizawa.
Aizawa turned to look at them with a bit of an annoyed glare, "First you two cut class, then you come barging in and making a scene, what-"
Izuku ran straight toward the teacher and stopped right in front of him. "Sensei! The school is under attack!" Izuku cried out
Aizawa was taken aback to hear this, "What?" He asked.
"It's true!" Mina said with a scared tone. "Some man came through the front gates and began attacking the staff! We saw it all!"
"We need to get out of here!" Izuku cried.
Suddenly, the rest of the class began to worry, and Izuku could see their expressions slowly morph into horror. Meanwhile, Aizawa looked at the two, wondering if they were telling the truth, and from the tone of their voice and their expressions, he knew they were.
"Izuku, are you being for real?" Uraraka asked from her desk.
Izuku turned to her and nodded, "What would I be gaining from this if I lied!?" He asked.
Suddenly, the school Intercoms came on and the principles voice was heard all over the school.
[Attention students and staff! We have an emergency! The School is under threat! Now I want everyone to keep calm!] The principal said. [Teachers please follow protocol and- wait! Stop! Don't come any closer! Don't come-AH! AAAAHHHH! AGGAHAH! G-G-Get off o-of me...! HELP! HELP ME! SOMEBODY HELP ME!]
The Intercom was then cut off and it seemed like the entire world was silent, as the whole entire school was shocked and horrified by what they had just heard. As quickly as the silence came, so too did the panic, as a sudden roar of yells and cries was heard all over the school, and every student jumped from their desk and ran outside.
Not wanting to be lost in the sea of teens, Izuku, Uraraka, Iida, and Mina stayed near the walls.
Iida turned to his friends, "Midoriya, Uraraka, Ashido! If everyone is in danger, we need to be armed!" He told them.
They all agreed and Iida singled for them to follow him, and as the number of students began to decrease in the hallway, they managed to make it to one of the storage closets that was thankfully open. Inside, Iida armed himself with a mop handle, Uraraka grabbed a rusty shovel, Mina a hammer, and Izuku found a baseball bat. Iida then told them that they would leave through the school's fire exit as he was sure people were running down the stairs and down the main entrances. They all followed him down the hallway toward the exit, but as they walked down the hall, they saw a sluggish figure slowly walking toward them.
"Hey, isn't that Tetsutetsu of Class 1-B?" Mina asked.
The other three did realize it was Tetsutetsu from class B, but something was not right about him, and both Mina and Izuku realized what was wrong with him when they noticed the blood and the huge ripped tear in his blazer.
However, Iida realized something was wrong with him too, but that didn't stop him from charging in at the student and smacking him across the face with the mop handle.
"Don't get near him!" Mina cried.
Tetsutetsu seemed unfazed by the attack and lunched at Iida, but the glasses-wearing teen ducked underneath the grab and went behind the boy, however, that causing him to run toward Uraraka, who realized what was happening a little too late as she held up her arm out of reflex only for Tetsutetsu to sink his teeth into her arm and the bite was strong enough to pierce the skin of the teen girl.
"Uraraka!" Iida cried out in horror.
Seeing what had just happened to his friend, Izuku gripped the bat tightly and rushed at the student and raised his bat into the air, and slammed it down atop the student's head, crushing in the skull and causing the young teen to go limp, and fall to the floor.
Mina rushed over to Uraraka, "Are you ok!?" She asked.
Uraraka winced in pain but nodded, "I-I'm fine, he just bit me," She replied.
Suddenly, they heard more groans and turned down the hallway that they needed to go down only to see a whole bunch of other students in a similar state as Tetsutetsu.
Iida growled in annoyance. "Crap! Our exit's blocked off!" Iida cried.
Izuku turned to him, "What do we do!?" He asked.
"We head to the roof! By now the exits are piled with students and blocked off by them, and I don't think we wanna deal with whatever is going on with those students down there," He told Izuku.
Izuku agreed with a nod, but Mina looked at them and shook her head, "I... I can't come with you guys," She told them.
Uraraka looked at the pink-haired girl, "What? Why!?" She asked.
"Toru's down there, she was helping out the nurses, I... I can't just leave her down there," She told them, "If there's even a chance she's alive, I'm taking it," Mina told them.
"Do what you have to," Iida said, "If you can, and if you find her, head to the roof," He told her.
Mina nodded and ran back down the hallway and to the stairwell and went downstairs, while they ran up and toward the roof.
.
.
.
Back downstairs on the ground floor, Mina Ashido swung her hammer and bashed it in the student's heads killing them and causing their body to drop to the floor with a thud. She had been lucky that she had only run into 3 or 4 of these... things as of now, but she was now covered in blood, but she could fix that later, she looked around to see if there were any more threats only to see no more threats and she ran toward the nurse's office, where she hoped to find Toru there since she and one of the School nurses were related.
However, as she turned a corner, she was shocked to see 7 students who were now one o those things, and down that hall was the nurse's office.
"You've gotta be shitting me!" Mina cried out in anger. She gripped her hammer in anger as she glared at the things in front of her, "I have had just about enough of you mother fuckers!" She cried.
Mina charged at one and quickly bashed its head in before turning to another and striking it across the left side of its head, killing it, she then turned around to see another had noticed her and charged at her. Mina backed away from it but tripped backward and fell to h floor, and the thing leaped to bite her, but Mina dropped the hammer and managed to use both of her hands to hold up the thing, away from its biting distance.
"G-Get off of me!" She cried.
She only got a snarl in response as the thing atop her began biting at her, and she could hear the teeth clack together. Mina tried to push it off but the thing was too heavy, she tried kneeling it in between the legs but that didn't seem to faze it at all. Mina was beginning to struggle and she was beginning to get scared of being bitten by the thing.
Suddenly, what appeared to be the blade of a paper cutter slammed into the thing's head before being pulled out, it died and it went limp. Mina pushed it off quickly and grabbed her hammer and got up and looked behind her only to see a boy with purple hair and baggy eyes.
Seeing her he put his hand in front of him to reassure her, "Whoa, take it easy, I'm here to help," he said.
Mina looked at him, "Who are you?" She asked.
"Hitoshi Shinsou of class 1-C," He said. "You?" He asked
"Mina Ashido, Class 1-A," Mina replied.
Shinsou nodded, "Were you heading away from or to the nurse's office?" He asked
"To the nurse's office," She replied.
Shinsou nodded, "Good, which means you can help me dear with the rest of these fucking things," He said as he gripped the paper cutter like a machete. Mina nodded and turned back around and gripped her hammer tightly and the two ran toward the nurse's office. Shinsou chopped one in the right side of the face before he turned and did the same to another one, and Mina also swung her hammer down on one's skull and sent it down hard, she then kicked another into one more, causing them to fall over, and she used this opportunity bash their heads in.
Both of the teen's uniforms were now stained in blood and once the threat of the things was gone, they went toward the door of the nurse's office and opened it up quickly only to be face to face with the end of a nail gun being pointed at them.
"W-Wait! They aren't one of those things!" Came a familiar voice.
Mina shifted her eyes and they landed upon Toru, who looked at Mina with a relieved expression. Seeing each other, they ran and tightly embraced each other, while they hugged, Shinsou quickly went inside the office and closed the door behind him. and he looked over to the student who had the Nailgun.
"Who are you?" Shinsou asked.
"Hanta Sero, Class 1-A," Sero told him, "Mina's my classmate,"
Shinsou nodded, "Who's she?" Shinsou asked, pointing at Toru.
"Another of our classmates, Toru Hagakure, she's the nurse's granddaughter," Sero told him.
"What happened to the nurse?" he asked
Sero's head pointed down, and he pointed to the other side of the room, and when Shinsou followed his finger, he saw a blood-stained white sheet over what was clearly a body. Shinsou felt angry, he knew the nurse was rather old, and for her to be attacked by those... things really pissed him off.
"What the hell is going on...?" Sero muttered, "I-I saw a bunch of people die only for them to come back alive? Is this real? Or is this all a fucked-up dream?" Sero asked.
"Hey, no time for stuff like that," Shinsou told him. The purple-haired teen looked over the three other students, "Look, I know how bat shit all of this is, but this is all real, the dead are coming back to life," Shinsou told them.
Toru was shocked, "A-Are you talking about zombies?" She asked.
"They don't look like vampires to me, so what else could they be?" Shinsou replied.
Toru shook her head, "But that's impossible! I-I mean there's no way!" she cried
Mina looked at her and nodded, "He's right, Toru, I was there when everything happened, I saw one of the staff get bit, die, and come back, Midoriya and I- Oh my god! Midroiya and the others! I forgot about them!"
Toru looked at her friend with a confused look, "What do you mean?"
"Izuku, Uraraka, and Iida, They went to the roof to hopefully signal for help!" Mina said, and then something struck her hard. If everything was like a zombie movie, if all of this followed the rules of what was established in media... then being bit, was dangerous. Uraraka was bitten.
"Mina? What's wrong?" Sero asked.
"Uraraka... she got bit,"
The other 2 class A students' eyes widened with horror as they quickly caught on to what had been implied.
Shinsou looked at her, "Then let's hope one of them killed her before she turned," He said.
Mina's gut felt as if it was punched, she had no idea what the two boys would do once they saw their friend turn into a zombie, mostly, she worried what Izuku would do, he had a crush on her, and it was a big crush, but could he really hurt her? Could he... end her life?
"We can't just leave them up there!" Toru cried, "We have to see if they are OK, even if... even if..." Toru began, but could6bring herself to finish the sentence.
Mina gripped her hammer and nodded in agreement, "She's right! We have to help them," She said.
"Then I'll go with," Toru said.
"Count me in too," Sero said.
Shinsou sighed, "Look I don't mean to sound like a heartless person, but you know there's a chance they are dead, right?" He said.
"Right, there's a chance and there's a chance they aren't dead! Which also means there's a chance they may be alive," Mina told him, "We have to try,"
Shinsou looked at them and let out a large sigh and scratched the back of his head. "Alright, alright... let's do this," he said as he gripped the paper cutter.
Mina nodded and turned to Toru, "You got something to use as a weapon?" Mina asked.
Toru nodded and grabbed a large pair of scissors and held them like a knife. Mina gave her a quick nod and they all looked at each other and approached the door of the office, with Mina's hand on the door, and quickly opened it and saw the Hallway was empty.
Being in the clear for the time being, the four students raced to the stairwell and made their way to the roof to hopefully save a fellow student. Unbeknownst to the four, a pair of students were also heading toward the roof, having the same idea as the three who originally went up there.
But what they were about to all experience up there, would change their lives forever.
For this was no longer the world that belonged to the living.
It was a world that belonged to the dead.
