A/N: This is a tad late. Sorry, been busy at work.

"Cursed or some shit."

"No."

"I said I was sorry; I didn't drop you on purpose!"

"Are you fucking kidding me?" "This has nothing to do with that!"

"Then why can't I come?"

"Because you're naked!" The blonde hissed back.

"I am not; I have this brown thing."

"It's not the same as clothes!"

They had been at this since the village first came into view over an hour ago, and Bakugou was starting to lose his temper. He needed to get away from her before he blew her away.

"You are staying here."

"But!-" If looks could kill, Kirishima had a feeling she would have been six feet under already. She had lost this one: "Fine, but I get to come next time! Humans and their extra skins, what difference does it even make?" She mumbled the last part to herself.

"Tch. I'll be back later. Bakugou pushed her out of his path.

"When?"

"Later!"

Kirishima groaned as she flopped back onto the grass as her grumpy partner disappeared over the hill towards the village they had stumbled across. Left behind again. Geez, what was the point of taking human form if she was made to stay put anyway?

No matter how much she dug her heels in, he wouldn't budge on the matter, and after the last time, he wouldn't fly with her anymore either. So she miscalculated slightly; in her defence, she wasn't that big before she got captured, and if she had gone any smaller, she wouldn't have been able to carry him on her back without straining.

Kirishima sighed She knew he would get over it eventually; she just had to behave and not make him even angrier. If she were honest with herself, she liked poking him; he was always so animated, and she found it unbelievably entertaining.

Kirishima frowned. It was too quiet now that he was gone; heh, it had been barely a week, and she already hated it when she was alone. She guessed she had gotten used to having him around rather quickly, but she didn't expect the loneliness she felt when he was gone now.

"Come back soon."

...

...

"Gah!" Kirishima sprung to her feet and looked over in the direction the blonde had disappeared as an idea popped into her head. He said she couldn't come to the village with him, but what if she went by herself? She would make sure not to be seen, and she would lay low.

Kirishima grinned, her sharp teeth shining as she tucked the brown cloth around herself and over her head and took off running.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me." Bakugou couldn't believe what he was seeing—not a scratch that he would be an idiot not to have seen this coming.

She had followed him to the very centre of a village of hunters. Naked. Not to mention sticking out like a sore thumb as she whipped her head back and forth in excitement.

She was going to get herself killed or worse if she was truly unlucky. Bakugou was just hoping to all hell that she hadn't spoken to anyone. Crossing the distance between them, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to her feet.

"The forest had better of been fucking burned down." The blond bit out the words as he glared his ever-present scowl at the redhead.

"Why would you want the forest to burn down?" Kirishima tilted her head to the side cutely.

Cutely? No, no way. Annoyingly. Yes, that sounded right.

Bakugou felt multiple tick marks forming as he struggled to hold himself back from sending her skyward without her wings. Not bothering to answer or simply too pissed off to answer, he began dragging her along behind him.

Borrowing from the blonde's colourful vocabulary, Kirishima got the sense she was in deep shit.

"Well?" Bakugou growled over his shoulder.

"I wasn't planning on being here for long; I just really wanted to see what a human village looked like! I've only ever seen one briefly from above, and that was a really long time ago. I didn't think there would be a problem if I came alone. Kirishima looked away. "I thought you just didn't want to be seen with someone who was 'naked'."

Bakugou clicked his tongue before releasing her with a jerk of his hand. What was the point? She was here now, and he was more likely to draw attention if he started yelling. Not to say that wouldn't come later. He grabbed the edges of the cloak and made sure they were folded securely before pulling the hood closer to her face and pushing her into the shadow of the adjacent alley.

"Stay here, right here. Otherwise, forget coming back with me." With that final warning, Kirishima pouted but nodded, and Bakugou hesitantly turned to continue back into the market area.

Spotting what appeared to be a weapons smith of sorts, he made his way inside, a bell sounding above. A man that was short and bone-like in structure was quick to sweep up the dirt that had trailed in behind him as he stepped inside.

He had almost everything he was after, but he was missing one or two things that he would have preferred not to leave without. However, it quickly became apparent that this was not the establishment he was looking for, not by a long shot. Bakugou was glad he made Kirishima stay outside, even though he wasn't sick enough to let her see this.

This was a hunting town; they made their money off hunting and selling items crafted from the 'leftovers," and he had stumbled right into the heart of it. There were parts of every animal you could think of, and to his surprise, draconian items. Dragon scales mounted on armour and teeth sharpened like blades, strips claiming to be dragon leather, and almost every other part of a dragon are used in some form or another. To his disgust, even a set of brass-coated dragon balls

Before long, the keeper approached him, saying, "I see you have an eye for the very finest young traveller. These are the centrepieces of my shop, and they are rare as well." He looked at the brass 'ornaments' and grinned, "You get what I mean."

"Where did you get all this?" Bakugou looked at him offhandedly.

"My son is quite the hunter, you see. Unlike his father, he is tall and as strong as ten men, and he is in line to be the next village head. Our best hunter, these are his contributions." The man boasted.

"Must have been a small fucking dragon." Bakugou scoffed.

"E-eh?" The old man sputtered before schooling his features. "Oh, certainly not; it was a fearsome creature. It nearly burned down our entire village!"

He doubted that and if it did, it sure as hell would have a good reason. He was pretty sure he knew why

The old man sighed. "We were lucky to salvage what we did; most of the beast was hauled away by Endeavor and his men."

"...That so."

"All true, I say!" The man nodded furiously before meeting his eyes. "So as you can see, I'm always looking to add to my collection if you have anything of worth." Bakugou took note of the sharp glimmer in his keen eyes.

These people saw everything as profitable, it seemed; even such a magnificent creature wasn't in the clear. They were among those who worshipped coin over beliefs—dangerous and distasteful people, but organized and wealthy. Though that didn't mean he was any less disgusted by them, he would make sure not to hang around any more than was necessary.

Especially with who, or more importantly, what his travel companion was.

"Do I look like I have anything like that on me?" Bakugou said curtly and turned to leave.

"O-oh? See you again, valued customer." The man bid him farewell with an overly cheery expression.

"Tch, not likely," Bakugou muttered to himself.

As the blonde stepped out with another sound of the bell, the old man bore his eyes into his back, running his fingers over a small scarlet disk.
