"With you, I see with more than just my eyes."

For a moment, he wondered if he had stepped into the wrong building. Now that he knew why Round-face had run ahead of them earlier, tch, he should have expected her to go on the offensive.

Bakugou raised a fist into the air, and the hall burst to life with yells and shouts as the occupants mimicked his movement. Then, to his annoyance, the more familiar of the lot crowded into his personal space—well, close by his standards anyway.

"Bakugou! Where have you been?"

"Yay, you're alive!"

*french sounds*

"..."

and the list went on, with the blonde growing increasingly aggravated. Warily most backed up several paces to give him space when the blonde's palms began to crackle. A spectacled young man with neat dark hair approached when the opportunity presented itself.

"Must everyone insist on coming in here without the common decency to wipe their feet?" he paused. "Nevertheless, I believe I can speak for everyone here when I say we are glad to see your safe, if not late, return."

Kirishima felt a sweat drop form; he was an odd one. It wasn't just him. As she looked around, she noticed that the people around her came in all different shapes and sizes. From a towering man with extra limbs to a miniature with balls for hair

A lady with pink skin and horns and another with ears that extended into cords caught her attention as they came closer, followed by a raven-haired woman with a ponytail who looked rather normal compared to the rest of her company. She assumed there must be something about her that was different too if the pattern were to continue.

Aside from her bright red hair and her pointed teeth, you wouldn't think Kirishima was anything out of the ordinary, so she wondered how they would react if they found out what she was. For the first time, she wondered how others would see her. After all, they were Bakugou's friends, so she hopes that they can get along.

"Who might this be?" The raven-haired lady with the ponytail asked with a smile in her direction.

Kirishima scratched her cheek with her finger, "Erm-," and she glanced at Bakugou, seeing him give a slight nod, "I'm Kirishima!" The redhead pulled down her hood and gave those around her a big grin.

"..."

"C-cute," Kirishima looked up in surprise as the raven-haired woman rushed towards her and grasped her hands in front of her, "my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, but you can just call me Momo."

"R-right!" Kirishima felt herself being caught up in the mood and couldn't shake the grin.

"I'm Mina!" The pink lady waved her arms and then gestured to the one with the cord-like ears.

"Jiro." She offered a small smile.

"Hey Hagakure, come meet Kirishima!" Mina ran forward to grab her arm and pull her along. Soon she found herself in front of...floating clothes. Were they alive?

"C-clothes are alive!" Kirishima looked down to her own and back up again; a laugh soon drew her attention.

"No, silly! I'm Toru Hagakure, and I am human; you just can't see me because my magic makes me invisible." Hagakure explained, and Kirishima saw the sleeve lift; perhaps she was scratching her head. It sounded like it anyway.

The redhead felt her nose twitch and stepped closer to the invisible girl; if she couldn't see her, then she would memorize her scent. The other females watched in curiosity as Kirishima approached Hagakure and began to...smell her?

"U-uh, what are you doing?"

"Right, now I'll be able to find you even if I can't see you!" Kirishima smiled her closed-eye grin as she got both some awed and some confused looks.

"Are you saying your sense of smell is so strong you can identify others?" Suddenly the green-haired man, Deku, stepped close to her with a sparkle in his eyes. "What kind of magic do you have—some form of animal manifestation?" The excitable little man bombarded her with many questions, all of which followed in a stream too fast for her to keep up, let alone answer.

"Eh, sort of, I guess?" Kirishima tilted her head. Was smelling people odd? Perhaps she had best keep that to a minimum.

"Tch." The familiar sound caught her attention, and Kirishima was surprised to see the blonde suddenly by her side. The redhead flailed slightly when the man gripped her upper arm and wordlessly began to haul her behind him.

He had come to her aid once again, and she wondered if he even realized.

"It was nice to meet you all!" Kirishima yelled over her shoulder as she stumbled with the blonde to the large wooden doors.

The redhead felt the stares burn into her back as she left with the blonde. She could understand their curiosity. From what she had gathered, it seemed he didn't let people tag along with him as he had her, and a small part of her swelled with pride at that. A small smile made its way onto her face.

It was a good day.

Kirishima jerked out of her thoughts as she slammed face-first into the blonde's back. Graceful, as per usual. The redhead rubbed her nose as she squinted up at Bakugou, who was looking at her unimpressed. He didn't say anything, though, and reached up above them to pull down a sturdy metal ladder.

Kirishima watched in fascination as the blonde scaled up onto a balcony of sorts before he looked down at her over the wooden railing and asked expectantly, "What the fuck are you waiting for?"

Wait, this couldn't be right. Wasn't this still part of the guild hall? Yeah, she was sure of it; they had only gone up around the side.

The draconian woman shook her head before finally grasping the cool metal bars and climbing up to meet her companion. She tilted her head. "What's this, a secret base?" She suddenly felt a little excited.

"You thought we lived in caves or some shit?" He raised an eyebrow at her, and Kirishima smiled skittishly. Bakugou rolled his eyes.

The redhead cocked her head to the side, watching as he yanked a loose brick from the wall, a small key hidden behind it. Fishing the key out, the blonde opened the door and stepped inside, followed closely by the excited woman.

"Wow," The red-headed boy looked around in awe. "It is a secret base!" Kirishima ran past the blonde and bounded down the wooden stairs, taking in as much as she could. She had never seen anything like this before.

There were walls covered in parchments and drawings, nicknacks she didn't recognize lining shelves, and all sorts of contraptions she had never even dreamed of. Humans were amazing.

So many new smells bombarded her nose, and she decided that she would take time to ask the blonde about each one, the jars that smelled like food especially.

So many new smells bombarded her nose, and she decided that she would take time to ask the blonde about each one, the jars that smelled like food especially. While fainting from his absence, she could also smell the blonde's scent all around her, a smell she had grown fond of.

She already felt right at home.

Kirishima spotted the blonde watching her from the top of the stairs with that same unrecognizable expression she was seeing more and more often lately. Catching her gaze, Bakugou motioned for her to follow him before walking off to the side.

Racing up the stairs loudly Kirishima saw the blonde shaking out a large piece of cloth; a thin sheen of dust rose into the air, making the redhead sputter and sneeze.

"...Here," Bakugou jerked his thumb above him at another piece of cloth, this one in an odd loop hanging from the roof, "you sleep up there."

"Huh?" Was she meant to hang from it like a bat? Surely not.

"Tch, it's a hammock; you get in it." The blonde tossed the cloth to her and looked at her expectantly.

"...okay?" Kirishima stared at the suspended cloth warily before climbing up onto the wooden banister below it and awkwardly flopping into it, swinging slightly from the action. "What's that one?"

Bakugou looked up from shaking his blanket free of dust and said, "It's a bed." With that, he flopped down onto the thing in question and said no more.

The red-headed girl swung slightly as she tried to get used to the new sensation of weightlessness. It wasn't bad; actually, it was one of the more comfortable sleeping arrangements she had had in years. However, she knew there was something more.

It wasn't too long before she heard the blonde man's breathing become steady, and she quietly swung down next to him. Kirishima took a moment to look at his sleeping face; it was the only time she saw him relaxed, unguarded even. It was rare, and she found herself wishing he would show this side of him to her when he was awake. Perhaps she was waiting for too much too soon; maybe one day.

Carefully, the redhead eased in next to him and almost found herself toppling on top of him; this 'bed' was a lot softer than the hammock and gave way a fair bit more. Kirishima nudged his right arm up slightly and tucked it over her as she burrowed into his side and sighed contently.

The familiar warmth almost immediately lulled her into a deep slumber.
