"That is IT!" Lapin exclaimed.
With a single twist of a small, metallic device, more and more battle-drones emerged from a nearby factory, their numbers rapidly multiplying. Sam, Nova, Max and Gordon all tried to fight them off, but it was no use.
"By the MUSTACHE OF GEORGE LUCAS!" Sam exclaimed, firing a barrage at yet another set of drones, which were very quickly replaced by at least thirty more.
"We need to destroy that clone factory remote!" Nova called, decapitating another fifty drones in a shower of metallic parts and sparks.
Lapin heard Nova's words and proceeded to fling the remote off the side of the palace. Down it fell, thousands of miles deeper and deeper until it could no longer be seen.
"Sam?" Max asked, removing his robe, and tearing a strip of it off. Sam thought he looked so cute, even while decapitating a battle-drone and strapping its jet pack to his body, pulling down tightly on the torn robe strip. "I think you should throw me!"
"HOLY TROGLODYTES FROLICKING ON A HONEYMOON, MAX! Are you INSANE?!" Sam hollered.
"Yes, I am, as a matter of fact, all the cool people are—NOW THROW ME DAMMIT!!" Max responded, flinging himself into Sam's arms.
Sam begrudgingly picked up his little buddy and FLUNG him after the falling clone factory remote control, and he too went deeper and deeper underneath the city into the hollow center of the planet until he too could no longer be seen.
"M-Max?" Sam whimpered after thirty seconds.
Sam had no time to mourn his little buddy, for Lapin grabbed him by the hand and flung the dog into the still rapidly-growing pile of Lagomorphian battle-drones.
"SAAAM!" Nova exclaimed, before Gordon threw a left-hook directly across the ruler's face. Nova started digging through the pile of battle-drones with her solar lance as quickly as she could, attempting to free the tall, anthropomorphic Irish Setter.
"So, this is how I go out, huh?" Sam thought to himself while the multitudes of robots continued to swarm his body and immobilize him like a thick, heavy, metallic blanket. "Never thought it'd be this way..."
Sam closed his eyes and prepared for death.
Suddenly, the battle-drones powered down, every last one of them. The clone factory ceased production, and Lapin was incredibly angry.
"--WHAT?!" Lapin hollered, gazing around at his flesh-and-blood lagomorph lackeys. "WHO COULD HAVE DONE THIS?!"
"MAX!
AH-AHHHHH!" Max sang as he shot back up into the stratosphere, kicking every single battle-drone aside.
"--SAVIOR OF THE UNIVERSE!"
"MAX! You're alive!" Sam rushed over and hugged the little rabbit, Nova and Gordon embraced as well.
"Course' I am, Sammo, now let's DRRRIVE THIS GOON'S HEAD UP HIS A--" Max charged directly at Lapin, who immediately screeched.
"YOU ARE RUINING MY BROADCAST!!" Lapin hollered. "Why d'you Earthicans even CARE about that, that STUPID statue anyway?!"
"Cause IT means a lot to us "Earthicans"," Max replied. "Just like how Sam means a lot to me…"
The little rabbit walked over to Sam, and immediately gave him a huge, long, deep kiss on the mouth. Sam was visibly blushing, his tail began to wag, and Nova and Gordon smiled.
"And if you don't see the significance of that, then I pity you, bub." Max replied, facing Lord Lapin yet again.
"I DON'T CARE!" Lapin exclaimed, about to attack Max when Nova picked him up, despite the fact she was at least half his size. "It would've replenished our DYING economy!! Especially due to the fact that it resembles our goddess…"
"What goddess?!" Max exclaimed, now choking the ruler by the neck.
"The g-goddess of w-wealth…" Lapin gasped for breath, pointing directly at a massive tapestry of a lagomorph woman that greatly resembled the lady Liberty.
"Eh, I don't see it." Max remarked, despite the fact that he himself had often been the subject of multiple coincidences with himself resembling something a tribe or civilization held dear.
"Hey Gordon, how bout' we detain this freak?" Nova asked her brother.
Gordon nodded, picked up Lapin, and with his laser-cannon, picked up the mad ruler and fired him out of orbit from Lagomorphus-9.
"CON-TACT!!" Max hollered at the top of his lungs.
"NO-NO-NO-NO-AAAAAAAAAGH!" Lapin screeched the whole way.
Max, Sam, Nova and Gordon, along with the Ice Lagomorphs and the entire populace of Lagomorphus-9 watched and cheered as the tyrant disappeared into the stars.
"Well, he's dead." Max smiled widely.
