Fifty-seven minutes was how long the groups have been walking for others it felt like they'd been used to it.

The marines and rangers alike were glad to have finally found a shade big enough to overshadow a small house... Four silhouettes counting from one to seven came stopping just from the top wall, a man wearing leather armor with a spear in his hand, stepped forth and peeked on down at a man till he pulled his hood back revealing himself as ranger rohan.

"Good day is it, guardsmen," The ranger captain said.

"It sure is sir Rohan," The guardsman replied, and as he scoured through the other rangers till he spotted men and women dressed in weird a clothes though he couldn't tell if what they were wearing over we're either some sort of armor colored in green but chose to forget about it.

"Sir Rohan, may I know who your new companions here are?" The man asked him.

"Why yes, I'm glad you asked," Rohan said as he stepped aside to let the guard get a good look at larath and next to her was a tall figure though he couldn't tell what he looked like since he was covered by a large cloak concealed almost everything but his armored hands and a golden faceplate.

"this here are just a couple of friends we happen to run into when battling a couple of raiders. They are with me alongside their small squad of adventurers, may we enter,"

"If course," The guard responded and then turned to his left. "Open the gate, there you go sir rohan,"

Deha whistled as she laid eyes upon the gigantic walls that surrounded what she assumed would be the town that was on the other side of the wall.

The eighteen foot wooden door in front of them began opening inwards as the crew can see four guards on each sides starting to pull back the doors all the way opened as they entered, Once the marines and five were all inside the loud sound of the gate closing once more gotten some townspeople's attention on them as they continued to follow after the three ahead of them.

There were things that the marines and five was looking at that they only see on tv, people were going around places buying groceries

Inside his helm deha had put together a layout of the town providing koa a holographic map of the buildings, zooming in the spartan dotted a building in red.

Koa was so occupy in coming up with more plan that he stopped midway when something pumped into him. Glancing down he spotted a wooden sword laying next to his foot, he then heard the sounds of multiple footsteps coming his way. Gently picking up the wooden sword without breaking it on accident, he waited as groups of youngsters stopped six feet from where he stood.

Koa slowly moves his right arm forth holding the toy sword for whoever it belongs to so they can come and get it.

A young girl tread forth terrified by the cloaked figure in front of her, she waited to see what he'd do until she stopped and took a step back when he moved towards her and stopped.

"It's alright kid I won't harm you," He says to her.

"Well ya could've been a bit more soothing," Deha spoke.

"Would you rather I scare the kid even more," Koa replied.

"No it's alright just try not to be too frightening to her," Deha said.

The young girl watched as the stranger kneeled down on one knee prompting for her to get the wooden sword from him, for a few moments she finally got out of the fear of him and walked towards the kneeling figure of five and slowly grabs the wooden sword from his palm.

Then suddenly she could see how tall the stranger was as he stood back up to his full height and watched as he stride back to the groups of rangers and Marines.

Before koa could reach the others he halted as the youngster spoke out to him.

"Thank you," She blurted out quickly."

Koa didn't speak and just nodded in response to her and then moved on with the others.

"Say rohan what exactly is going on around here?" Larath questioned.

She's seeing people celebrating as others were dancing in excitement. Men women and children of different species were mingling with each other on the dance floor listening to the sound of fluet music while some was singing.

A waitress walked up to larath holding a tray of drinks.

"Would you like something to drink ma'am,"

Larath was a bit startled by person in front of her whose appearance surprised her internally. The skin of the woman was grey with blonde hair but the most surprising to her was the horns sticking from top of her head protruding to the back and that her eyes were light golden.

Rohan seeing the discomfort the Marine was in stepped towards the waitresses and took the cup of drinks as he passed ones to those of the marines and rangers.

"Yes young Ms. She'll like one. Here take this Ms. Larath, do not worry it is not just ale the people here drinks some of them drinks mostly the sweetened water of keyamdir," Rohan said passing it over to her.

Without a second larath took the mug and took a sniff at it. She was on an unknown world and was unsure of the drinks on this world is so she had to be cautious of the drink in case it was poison though she doubt the lady or whatever she was had put anything in it.

With a moment of her gulping down the drink she made a pop sound with her lips.

"It kind of tastes like sunkist soda," Larath said as she took another sip.

The other marines took some mug from one of the servers each conferming that it tasted exactly like that of one of the many of the earth soda.

"Five, how about you, want some?" Larath said to koa.

"I'm good," Koa said.

Though koa appreciated her gesture he didn't need to drink every so often like an average person seeing that others like him can go on for long without the need for water thanks to the augmentation that he and the spartan went through.

"Whatever you say," She responded by taking it for herself.

...

Shortly aftetwards the rangers and marines plus taynor enters as they strolled past the masses of people who were conversing with one another while others eyeing the marines with skepticism.

One of the marines stopped and turns toward the entrance gaining the peoples attention as well. The sound of the fance swishing open as the wooden floor creaking causing koa having to be thorough with his steps when he enters.

Five didn't need to move his head left to right to see how many people were around, inside his helm he had already counted the numbers of people even formulating a plan in case of any surprise attacks.

Once he reached the counter where the others was awaiting him while the other two marines were ordering their food.

Ranger rohan offered him a seat to which five denied afraid he might cause a commotion due to his weight adding with the fact that he was wearing the Mjolnir power assault armor adding the weapons he has. Five knew full well of the outcome if he had sit down on the stool it would've shattered from the amount of weight it couldn't withstand which was something that he chose to avoid.

With that five just stood next to the marines and rangers.

A women with lightish color Auburn hair and fair skin walked on over to them. She wore white long sleeve tunic with a blue silk pants.

"Greetings, how may I be of help," She spoke giving them a smile.

"We'll have the usual gretta," Rohan responded as he and the rangers slid coins of their own towards her.

"And what of your compatriots sir organ?" Gretta said asking as she scoured the marines.

She had seen many things in her life but just the way the marines looked and acted seems to spark a curiosity in her. Though she knew that even the people in the tavern were looking at the newcomers directions with inquisitive thoughts.

"Uhmmm, I'll have the same thing as him," Larath said giving the server a coin.

"As you wish, and what of you three," Gretta said turning to the three other marines.

"Chicken leg, and ill also have a cold beer," Mike answered.

"Well have the same thing as the rangers," Franklin said speaking for Caitlyn and himself.

"Spartan anything you want?" Franklin ask him.

"I am fine," Five Answered.

When gretta glances at the giant figure she couldn't help but tried to see who the person was underneath the cloak but decided to forget about it since she could not. At first she thought he was an orc seeing how tall he is or maybe he was a troll but doubt the stranger was one since the trolls were larger in both size and height.

"Well alright'y then, y'all wait here and ill be back with your foods," The women said as she went to the back.

As the groups were chatting amongst each other koa heard a couple of footsteps as men and women dressed in medieval armor walked in causing everyone in the tavern to go quiet like the desert at night.

Koa assessed around ten to sixteen of the individuals. Some of them were human for sure but the ones with perfectly tanned skin and long ears signifying that they were elves something that made koa uneased. This beings were not the only ones that made koa uneasy.

About four short men were walking beside the elves and human, with their meager height they made up for their stocky features but were hidden underneath all of the armor clothing's and just from the way they looked koa guessed that this people were what most civilians or unsc soldiers would call dwarves giving the fact that they have very large beards though some of them braided theirs and others trimmed.

Practically koa and deha learned that this people weren't not just some fantasy stories like some people from their world thinks because

One of the individuals caught sight of larath and started walking towards where she is.

"Uh oh! Five looks like we got company," Deha said as the spartan eyed the man cautiously.

"Well well well, what is someone like you doing here," The man spoke expecting the woman to flirt back but instead larath gave him a single glance and went back to chatting with rohan.

Feeling a slight irritation the man tilt his head sideways till he saw who the woman was talking to.

The marines noticed the man trying to get a some few words from their squad leader obviously to them they knew that she could handle herself even with her current injuries. Mike was about to butt in himself that is until larath signaled him that it was alright so he nodded and stepped back with the other two marines as three of them watches as more of the man group walked towards Maratha direction.

"Well if it isn't rohan himself!" The man turned to his colleagues. "Hey guys come check this out, it's the ranger captain rohan," He yelled out to them.

"Hmmm, seems like you are a very well-known man here Mr. Rohan," Larath said to the ranger captain.

"I'll have you know Ms. That ranger rohan is a very renowned man amongst welleryn, ain't that right rohan,"

"Good to see you in one piece aylon. Tell me how was it like hunting your first jargas," Rohan said seeing the numerous needle size holes on the man's bronze armor.

The now man known as aylon grunted in slight vexation. The young man gesture for drink as he drank it and slammed it on the counter. He was a second year hunter a group of welleryn man and women who's job is to hunt animals such as beasts as well so that they can provide for the town although they have a few sets of rules extricating them from going after the more difficult ones, doesn't mean it was about such things as cash or coins it's that certain animals were substantially too dangerous for them even together in groups.

But the one prey he and his companions had slayed was a jargas one of the few beasts that were the least difficult for the hunters to hunt down with ease.

As the two man were conversing with one another alongside larath who was having to sidestepping any flirtation comment that aylon was throwing at her path.

Koa was scouring over the remaining crew of aylons. One of the individuals were casting a look at the marines and him, deha had to hop in and refrain five from making an imprudent decision.

Zooming in five slowly unhinged his fingers from the hilt of his M6C handgun. Though He did remained vigilant of the those around him and the marines. Dreading isn't the word that he would describe how he feels towards the numbers of people in the tavern exluding rohan and his fellow rangers, a feeling of uncertain skepticism In him shone ever since he laid eyes on the multitude of different species of people that roamed the street of welleryn, elf's dwarves and others that koa couldn't even make known of what they are.

"What even are those creatures Deha?" Five asked his companion A.I.

Inside his Mjolnir hud interface a red circle increases as it zoomed in on a figure standing next to one of the resident as it was chatting with those across from him. Five didn't know what he was and had mistaken it for a dwarf but seeing how the short stocky people are compare to the shorter person five can figured that the creature stands around three feet and a half inch taller.

"Oh from what I'm seeing right here is that most dnd nerds calls them gnomes, a race of miniature people who's height are close to that of some of the dwarfs but somehow I doubt only small numbers of them can be mistaken for a small child except for the pointing ears," Deha responded as she showed koa a clear image of what humans from his world describe the gnomes.

One of the Xenos as some people from unsc space calls the covenant manages to catch a glint from Five's visor and quickly looked in another direction away from his previous direction.

"Ms. Larath, I will be excluding myself from here," Five told her as he then stepped back and was about to head off when the marine stopped him on his track.

"Where are you going five?"

"No where important, I'll take a stroll around here in this town for the time being notify me if anything else goes wrong," Five replied surprising her when he put a black rectangular object on the palm of her hand left for the entrance.

"I will spartan," Larath said as she slid the radio into her pocket away from prying eyes not that they would even know what it is for.

...

It was past seven minutes since five left the tavern and so he made a decision to take a stroll in the town, looking at the essential that people had hanging in their market things like jewelry and foods like that of fishes and heads of creatures that he couldn't tell what it is something that the spartan would have to get used to in the new world.

Although five was used to unsc personals or people show signs of fear of having to bypass the Spartan's mere presence as some would tried to ask them for a picture and autograph while a few select ones with an unwise mindset like that of the o.d.s.t. Would try whatever it is they can to impair their false sense of bravery to pick a fight with the Spartan's all thanks to a certain fourteen year old spartan, and five knew if he hadn't been there he was sure the last odst would've been killed of by him if chief mendez and his men hadn't barge in and halted both he and one-one-seven.

Noticing a small shadow that had been following him five chose to take a left turn and took into a dark side of the corner where the sun doesn't shine it's light at, it was perfect timing as he waited for the adherent person that's been following him since his departure from the tavern.

...

When lyla came returned home from hunting she saw that most people around her we're chatting about some men and women in green though the people also mention a large stranger covered in cloak. So with that she pushed passed a group of people and there fifty yards away from where she stood is someone she never thought to see again after the three past months.

she didn't expect to see her favorite rangers to walk in after so long and was about to rush in and greeted him but stopped when four strangers walking beside rohan and his group. The men and women were dressed in green tunic of some kind and a whether weird armor they wore over their apparel of clothes, though she wondered what the strange sticks of metal that they were holding onto tightly were as it closely reminds her of dwarven musket in different sizes.

The last person though she couldn't get a good look at, the man was tall for sure exceeding those around him in height, for he must've been one of the other recent people that the townsfolks were talking about. And the thing that singles out the stranger from the rest of his group was the cloak concealing his entire features, and as the group turned left in her direction they continued to stroll past the busy streets till they passed right underneath the bridge she was standing on.

Then from there on she waited for a moment till they were a bit far and moved quick as she could through the crowd follow after them while also keeping a safe distance so they wouldn't see her.

Lyla came to a stop when the group had entered the tavern so she waited for a while till one of the strangers the tall one exited the building and not long after she saw someone else a man who's face can be easily seen thanks to the telescope she was using, he had two blade holsters on his left and right thigh and a crossbow on his back and the most revealing of them all was that he was a demi-human meaning he was a halfling but she couldn't tell which the other half is.

Being the curious being she is lyla decided to climb up a ladder and followed the two people as she hopped from building to building.

Lyla slowed down into stopped just from the edge and stood by, keepin an eye on her two targets watching closely as the halfling turned left to where the stranger went, what she saw next made her wonder what had just happened as all she saw was the halfling being pulled into the dark corner, slowly she zooms in to get a better view to see the halflings flipped over the stranger with both daggers and attempted an overhead strike but missed and receiving a punch in exchange that sent him crashing into a box of wooden has.

The would-be killer got up once more and rushed at the stranger and slid underneath him and slicing through the fabric of his targets cloak then flipped backward into a halt. He then turned his head to the stranger thinking that he was down on one knee only to see that he was running towards him and reacted quickly by bringing both blades into an ax form to block the punch but what he hadn't expected was the force behind the strike, it had sent him skidding back six feet, his ears picked up the sound of his left blade cracking surprising him as the sharp head of the weapon fell in pieces.

With that the man threw the broken blade at the giant and ran forth with his remaining blade. He half expected the prey to attack but it just stood there with it's eyes focused on him in other words his helm.

Before he could even react the stranger pulled out a blade of his own as well and blocked his strike, flipping back the man sped forth once more the moment his foot touches the ground with the blade aiming where it's targets midsection is. Five seeing this swings left as both weapon made a clang sound upon contact, five went for a faint leg swept and the man tried moving back only for his opponent to rush forth and lept over him and threw his combat knife as it struck his foot sticking it right into the ground, this resulted in the assassin into almost slicing his own foot to in two when trying to move.

The Assassin threw his blade at an incoming five in fright and reached back for his crossbow only to find it missing and sees it broken in pieces, he cursed at himself as the last thing he felt was an immense pain coming from his stomach and an arm wrapped around his throat causing everything in him to go black.

...

After five took care of the assassin he began searching him for anything valuable and while at it he wondered who had sent the man to try and kill him. But lucky for him deha and gave in her own advice to koa to bring the would-be killer to a remote location which he agreed because now he wanted to know who the one behind this was.

"I'd wonder what kind of species he is?" The A.I. said tapping her chin in a thinking motion.

"Better to find out once he wakes up," Replied five.

"Yeah, I guess you are right," Deha said before smiling when catching an unusual red dot appearing on the mini-map. "Well who might you be," She commented.

"What is it deha?" Five questioned.

"It looks like we have a mouse on us," She said answering him. "Hold on here you go," The A.I. Said sending him an exact site of a person. Zooming in koa could see that it was just a youngster.

Five stood up and looked at direction lyla is at. "Show yourself?" Koa said looking at the edge of a roof.

Lyla cursed in shock at the fact that she was easily spotted by the stranger, slowly her hands raises up as she showed herself.

"Ok, ok, ok, I'm coming," A voice said speaking up loudly.

Koa watched as a small figure drop down from the roof effortlessly and landed on top of a broken-down carriage and proceeded to walk towards him.

"Before you start talking I just wanted to say that I'm not with him," Lyla said pointing at the unconscious assassin.

"Then mind explain to me why you were following us for," five said looking down at her.

Lyla having to look straight up at the stranger could see her face reflecting from five's visor laughed nervously due to how tall he is then her.

"Heh, well you see I was originally about to meet up with captain rohan till I caught sight of him following you so I chose to follow you two," Lyla said half lying.

"And what is it you would want from rohan?" Five said feeling doubtful of her statement.

"He is my cousin, is there a problem with that," Lyla told him.

"No," Was all the spartan replied as he turn to walk away.

"Wait where are you going," Lyla said running after him.

"None of your problem," Five said returning the favor.

"Ouch, I probably deserve that," the girl said.

As five was tying up the assassin he heard noises coming from where a group of people who seem to have been watching the previous fight between him and the assassin.

Seeing this a light bulb lit in lyla's head and jumped in offering five her aid.

"Wait I can help,"

"No need I have my own way of escape," Five countered as he was about to head off he stopped knowing what deha was going to tell him.

"What is it now deha?"

"Maybe we should accept the girl offer five," The A.I. Said.

"I do not need aid from her deha, I can take care of myself," Five said to his longtime partner with slight irritation.

"Oh I know you can handle yourself five, but this is a perfect opportunities for us to learn more about this place," The A.I. said.

Knowing the A.I. Was right five couldn't help but agree on her proposal and turned to the girl.

"Lead the way," Koa said.

"Great glad you you agree!" Lyla beamed up in glee.

"This way,"

"Quick follow me," The girl said.

...

After the duo's left the scene while five was carrying the unconscious assassin they avoided anyone in their way without any problem thanks to lyla.

Five quickly came to a stop as he spotted two guards six yards away from where they are, without a second thought he grabbed a surprising lyla and jumped at an incredible hight and grabbed onto a edge of a building and pulled himself along with a screaming lyla who was held together with the assassin with one arm.

"What the hell was tha- muff!"

"Quiet," Five told her as he had his palm on her mouth silencing her.

The two guards heard the sound of someone screaming and turned to look at where it came from and went back to chatting with one another.

"Where to now?" Five said.

Lyla removed the stranger hand from her mouth and spoke "Where not that far," She said and jumped down on the other side of the building.

Afterward when the two arrived at their destination. Looking to her right and left to make sure there wasn't anyone in sight, lyla signal for the stranger to start moving as they walked toward a building.

"Wait here, I'll go ahead first and knocked,"

As lyla came to a stopped she pulled up a dumbell handle and knocked three times and waited for a few moment till five heard a couple of footsteps shuffling towards the door and opened it.

"Lyla! Your back," A young girl with dirty blonde hair said in excitement and hugged her sister.

"Hey it's good to see you too have, here take this and share it with your brothers and sisters," lyla said handing the little a pouch.

"Oh thank you sister, I'll tell them you are here," She said and ran off.

"I don't think this is the right place to bring an unconscious person to," Koa said to deha.

"Well the best we can do is not cause something that'll frighten the youngsters," Deha said replying knowing that five's got a point.

The voice of an women called out after hearing the door being opened. She came out from the other side where koa assumed the kitchen was at due to her wearing a worn-out apron with food stains on it.

The older women was wearing a hood that kept most of her hair together tightly and seems to be wearing a brown tunic and leather pants, five can also see a blade strabbed onto her right thigh and he could also tell that she wasn't one to be fooled easily.

The women saw her daughter and went to hug her only to stop in her steps when she saw who was standing six feet from behind lyla.

She was about to reach for her blade until lyla stopped her knowing what she was about to do.

"Mother it's alright the stranger is with me!" Lyla said to her as she then waved for koa to come in.

"Lyla when I said to go and buy me some ration for dinner tonight I didn't mean for you to bring a stranger into our house!" The woman said scolding her.

"Ah yes mother I knew you'd be mad at me but please understand that I only wanted to help this man," The girl lied.

"Doesn't look like someone of his stature wouldn't need a help from a little girl like you," The woman said as she eyed the stranger up and down.

"Indeed ma'am," Koa responded. "But your daughter here urged me to follow," He told her.

sighing to herself the mother clenched her eyes closed for the moment and replied calmly.

"And you an adult still heeded her words and still followed," She said while having to tilt her head up to at him.

Expecting a different response from him she anticipated he'd would react with the same Indecisive tone as some people that she came upon but instead he replied with a simple honesty.

"I didn't think of that ma'am,"

Lyla foreseeing another indignant retort that her mother was about to say quickly acted and spoke gaining her and the stranger attention as they glance her way.

"Mother is the back shed empty," She said asking.

"Yes it is, bring him there," She answered pointing at the unconscious man koa was holding.

She was used to seeing people getting beaten up either by some unreasonable act and foolish manners while some just does something that causes the town's guards to find and put them in the dungeon cells where they'll have to stay until their remaining days finishes unless they chose to become exiled from welleryn by the grand elder if she so chooses so the second she caught sight of the knocked out assassin was nothing new to her.

"Great," Lyla let out and motion for five to follow.

As he was passing by the woman five stopped and gave his thanks to her.

"Thank you for the hospitality," He told her and then left.

"Don't need to be so modest stranger because I'm coming as well," She replied and pass by five as he held the door opened and trailed behind her.

Once they were inside the shed lyla had to lit four candles up to give the room some light. As he came upon the door five had to fit through the door without much trouble and grabbed a rope hanged from a wall and used it to tied up the assassin hands together from the back of the chair and then he did the same with his legs till he was finally done.

"Mind telling me why you'd bring this man with you stranger?" The mother said asking five.

"Attempted murder," Five said without looking at her as he just picked up a heated metal bar from a burning furnace and brought it slightly a few inches from the sleeping halfling.

The man suddenly gasped In fright feeling the hairs on his face stand up, he looked around the place he was in and could see only three individuals that is until he spotted the one person he failed to kill who was holding the heated bar next to his face.

"Young lyla you should go outside this isn't something you should see," Spoke koa.

"But I can han-

"Lyla out of the shed now!" Ordered her mother.

Lyla without questioning her mother just hopped off the stool she set in and comply with a defeated look and opened the door and closed it.

"Lyla I can see you peeking, door close now!" The woman said as she looked at the assassin. "I wouldn't move anymore if we're you," The woman said. "Unless you want to get your skin burnt that is,"

"Frainer, I should've known you were in on this too!" The man said speaking her name with detest.

"Nice to see you too rook," Frainer said with a smirk on her face. "Though I believe the man in front of you should be your main concern,"

Rook turned to face the stranger but tried to move his face from the heat and couldn't do anything and failed to as five then spoke with a dignified voice.

"Why we're you after me,"

"I'm afraid I don't understand yo-

Rook didn't get to finish speaking when five just tapped his knees with the bar causing him to cry out in pain.

"I will ask again, why we're you after me?" Five said with a grave tone.

"Like I'll tell you anything you impudent fo-

Aaarghhh!*

Five then brought the heated bar this time in between his legs where his jewares is at and without a sense of remorse moves it forth.

"Ok ok, I'll tell you, please just don't go any further, I beg of you," The assassin pleaded as he then let out a heavy sigh when five retracted and set the bar back in in the furnace.

Koa had discussed things with deha pertaining about rook and that they figured out clearly that the assassin did not wanted to kill him at first and knew that someone must've ordered the man to hunt him down and would be rewarded with a huge sum of money something that he knew very well after all dealing with the insurectionist had told him that anyone would do anything to get their hands on the amount of cash waiting for them.

"Good now you'll tell us who had ordered you to hunt me down, any lies I detect will be granted with the same pain you've just felt," Five stated with a stern voice.

"I'm just a killer for hire alright, someone came up to me and said to find ya and bring you in dead or alive,"

"What did he look like?" Asked five.

"I don't know,"

Again rook tensed up when five grabbed the bar once more and brought it towards him.

"He's face, did you manage to catch sight of what he looked like?" Five inquire of him.

"Hey there man, I am telling you the truth, I truly don't know of what he looked like under the dark hood he wore believe me if I had known what his face looks like I wouldn't be lying right now," Rook said frantically as he tried to scoot the chair backward.

"Wait koa, stop!" Spoke deha.

Koa heeded deha's words and stopped to listen to the A.I. Wanting to know what she wanted this time.

"What is it you inquire this time deha?" Questioned five with slight irritation.

"He mentioned robe," The A.I. Said in response.

"Yes he did, what of it that made you ask that?" Five said without moving his eyes away from rook.

"Remember when I told you about the man in weird robes,"

"Yes I remembered it clearly, you've said they were the ones to find me the night when I first arrived on this world,"

"Well ask the assassin if the man who gave him the order had any symbol of a star like this attached to his robe," Deha told him as she showed Koa a precise picture of a star symbol with four sharp pointers detailing a ninja star pointing outward from the corner of the symbol and with a circle surrounding it.

Five listened and grabbed a wooden stick from a table and used it to draw a near identical image of the symbol and moved away from it allowing rook to take a good look at it.

"The man who came up to you had you seen a symbol on him that looked exactly like this?" Five asked.

Rook let out a sigh of relief when the stranger moved away from him and watched as he drew a symbol on the dirt one that he quickly recognize immediately.

The stranger then backed off as he pointed at it and asked a question that he knew was coming saying if he knew of it.

"What's in it for me when I tell you the answer," Retort Rook.

"I'm assuming he'll let you live, that's probably something you'll get once he gets the answer he wants," Frainer spoke up.

"Ok ill tell you but you'll have to keep your word to let me go if I give you the name of the cult that this robe man comes from," The assassin said to him hoping that five would agree to his bargain.

"That depends on what I get from you," Five told him.

"Ok that's good to hear but you'll have to be careful of your surroundings cause of what this people are capable of,"

"How come?" Asked five.

"From what I hear of this cult they call themselves the black stars, there a group of people that consisted of different magic users and mercanaries joined them after the first great war or the first war that is," Rook said finished elucidating the stranger.

"What can you tell me about them," Five said wanting to get more information about this black stars now that he knew of their cult names.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you anymore about them," Replied rook.

"Then how did you know of their title?" Questioned five.

"Why don't you ask the woman next to you," Countered rook. "She also happens to know of them,"

Five looked at frainer. "You knew of them,"

Sigh*

"You could say so," Answered frainer without a look of concern. "I used to work with them," She said by emitting a trail of green fire around the palm of her hands. "But not anymore,"

"Do you know where their base is at?" Asked five.

Five was maintaining himself from pulling out his m6c pistol when frainer displayed a green flame of her magical ability. He was a little surprise by what she had showed him something that he supposed was well common amongst this world.

"Nope not one that I know of, the black stars tends to be very secluded of themselves, they don't want be found that easily by anyone not after their coalition during the first war," She said answering him.

Deha was unsure of what the two people was saying is true seeing as neither one of them wasn't showing any sign of lies on their faces and thought to herself to just tell koa to get it over with and finish off rook but what got her interested was that the lady mentioned the first great war and that's when it clicked in her in an instant, during the night that these so-called black stars had kept five locked in some sort of iron prison she overheard one of the robed figures speaking about the first war and wanting to prepare themselves for the future.

This made the A.I. Concerned for a moment she and five alongside some of the marines had fought in the human covenant war for almost their entire life and then they appeared in a world that she knew little of only for them to be lost in and now she understood full well that sooner or later something big is happening something that she wasn't sure if the spartan and the remaining marines or anyone from the unsc are keen to be a part of not after what they have went through.

"How do you know of the black stars?" Five said to a tensed rook.

"Well they happen to have been interested in my mastery of stealth and blade skills and asked me two days ago before you've arrived if I wanted to join," Rook responded with a disheartening look.

Somehow deha chuckled at that not after what had happen between him and five back in the dark alley. Though she had to acknowledge him since the guy was pretty good at dodging one of five's punches adding the fact that he was pretty decent with how quick he is with his blade work.

"I'd say let him go five," Deha said making koa giving her questioning look.

"What!... do you hear yourself deha have you not forgotten what he tried to do," Five said after he turned on his inner coms to where no one from the outside would hear him speaking with Deha.

"Five for as long as you know me I've never made an erroneous decision that caused good people to get killed," Deha said trying to calm koa down from going for the m6c pistol. "Listen to me koa and tell me if the person you have tied up looks like the type to go around killing people for cash,"

"Hello, can you hear me," Frainer spoke as she then moved back a few steps. "You've been standing there still for a while while I've been trying to talk to ya,"

"Apologise, but I'm afraid I must leave for now," Koa told her as he then heard voices coming from outside the door.

Knock knock*

Five heard rook cursed in a language he never heard of as he looked forth with a sudden look of panic.

Trainer walked forth and peeked through a small hole from the corner of the shed. "Damn, guardsmen!"

"How many of them?" Asked five.

"About ten of them," She responded in a pessimistic sound of annoyance.

"Oh great, this is just got damn great, first I get hired by a robe woman to hunt someone only for me to get tied up by the very person I'm supposed to capture... I can't get sent back to the dungeon cell by the grand elder," Rook said desperately trying to break out of his bonds.

"Now what in the light caused the grand elder to show herself to a lowly man like you," Frainer said as she stared at rook.

Five stepped towards rook and scooted the binding man aside and began moving everything away that included the tables candles and tools alike and he even had to rip a piece of counter off afterwards he went on by ripping the wooden wall apart by creating a hole big enough for him to fit through.

"I am sorry for the shed lady, I'll be out of your way," Said five as he was about to head off rook yelled out to him begging to set free.

"Come on koa he's not gonna to do anything bad," Spoke deha.

"Somehow I doubt that," Five said as he snatched a nearby blade from the ground and cut the robes setting rook free at the moment.

While rook was removing all the ropes that were wrapped tightly around himself frainer had yelled at the two to get out already noticing that the guards were about to bust through her door.

"Oh why thank you very much stranger I will not forget about this," Rook told five as he immediately bounced when frainer had no choice but to opened the door.

Once the guards enters they caught a glimpse of a cloaked figure moving faster then the eye could see.

Yelling at the others the lead men ordered the guards to run after whoever it was that just fled.

"Lady frainer, do have any way of knowing who that man was," The guard said expecting that the woman was associated whoever that was.

"I'm afraid I don't know guardsmen," She said answering him.

"Are you certain lady frainer," The man said with suspicious look shooting towards her.

"Of course guardsmen, if you happen to know, the stranger was covered from top to bottom with a large cloak, so forgive me if I've got nothing for ya," Though she did manage to catch sight of his helm Frainer responded knowing that the man was looking at her accusingly. "But if I happened come across him once more I'll be happy to let you know," She said smiling by bowing down to the guard in a mocking fashion.

"Fine I expect you to do so, because the lady Aurollo had also requested for you to meet her by sundown," The guard said in response as he then walked out through the hole and followed after where his fellow guardsmen went.

Frainer cursed at herself quietly understanding the one reason on why her sister had asked of her so she then levitate multiple wooden planks and used it to create wall though it wasn't as perfect as most ones she did not care told herself shell come back and work on it.
