The team is standing around a thin alleyway waiting for Cas to come back and meet up to talk about what their next move should be next on the Empty but had made little to no progress.

"Why is Cas taking so damn long?" Dean looked at his phone and saw the time was a quarter past noon. The team was supposed to regroup back at noon. Everyone was there, except Cas.

"What? Your little angel buddy runnin' late?" Dani commented in her ever so nonchalant tone. At this point, the team had grown accustomed to her tone. It's like knowing the difference between paper, indistinguishable. Being able to read her emotions was like taking a test only picking C, preying on god it's the correct answer.

"He's never late Dani, something's up," Jack answered.

Jack peered out of the alleyway and down the sidewalk to see if he could spot Cas, and he didn't find anything. He cocked his head to do a full one-eighty to his left side. Only to be met with a long tan trenchcoat in his vision, looking up to see the angel holding Marv by the shoulder. The vessel was fuming, his face almost red from the constant yelling and complaining on the way there. Even Cas had a face of annoyance hidden behind his stoic expression.

"Guys," Jack's eyes widened to saucers, and his voice was breathless.

"Oh look who the cat dragged in." Dean announced in a jarring tone, giving the famous 'Winchester Glare of Death' to Marv.

"Hello Megatron," Sam commented, his tone also carrying an edge to it like a double-edged blade.

"For heaven's sake, I am not Metatron!" Marvin blurts out to the group.

His answer makes the whole team grow silent, making all of them double-take on the outbursting answer. But in this case, made Dean a little more angry at the squirrely man.

"Not Metatron?" Dean muttered to himself in a confused tone. With a burst of anger, Dean suddenly pins him to the brick wall of the thin alleyway. "Bullshit." his words were like venom to an open wound. What did Marv do that was so bad? Or in this case Metatron? Marv didn't do anything, he was just a vessel for the angel. He was the scapegoat for his mistakes. Will the team ever forgive him? Even if he had no association with Metatron in the first place?

"No! Not 'bullshit'! Im, not him! Why can't you get that into your damn heads?" He yelled again, and his stutter started to come back.

"Dean. Put him down. He's telling the truth, I already confirmed it." Cas said with the slightest tinge of worry that Dean was going to kill the guy in the heat of the moment.

"Fine," He answered under a scowl, putting him down and giving another glare that made Marv shutter in his skin. "Does he know he's a vessel for that dick?" He added under gritted teeth.

"Yes, he does. Now, can you can lay off Dean?" Cas attempts to reassure Dean but fails.

Marv brushes himself off and regains his composure, "I'm starting to think that getting pinned to the wall is going to be a common occurrence?"

"Yeah," Dean snarled back and his eyes rolled to the open street that had cars commonly speeding by every so often.

Sam crosses his arms and looks at Marv expectantly, "So you're...not...Metatron? Your his vessel? Am I getting that correct?"

Marv takes a sharp breath, and does a small nod to Sam, letting the situation de-escalate.

"Yes. I am his vessel-"

"What's your name then?" Jack cuts him off, but he wasn't being rude about it. More curious than anything, if it's what Cas said about him and Jimmy Novak with the whole 'It's like being chained to a comet' incident.

"Marv Banx."

Dean almost spits out his swig of whiskey from his silver flask and snickers, putting the cap back on.

"Your...Your name is Marv?" Dean was shifting emotions like a car going from zero to sixty, and in his eyes was clear amusement.

"Yeah?" Marv responded with a hint of growing annoyance in his tone as Dean spoke.

"Oh, that's damn funny." He said to himself, allowing a small chortle to escape his mouth in the process.

"Alright, let's get back to business," Sam spoke up and turned his attention to Cas, giving him a silent head nod. Cas walks up to the front of the group, pulls out the purple tablet from his trench coat, and presents it to Marv.

"Can you read this?" He holds out the stone tablet, with its purple letters starting to illuminate the alleyway in a magenta hue.

Marv jumps back slightly at the sight 0f the tablet.

"It's like the Old Testament, time is viewed as prophetic, like the Angel and Demon Tablets. But instead of looking forward to the kingdom of heaven being restored by the coming of the Messiah...It's like the complete opposite." Marv pauses and his expression grows more serious, "This is talking about something called The Rise of The Fallen.."

"Alright then Mr. Transformer, tell us what or who is causing this. If you can." Dean added the last sentence with a little venom on her tongue, trying so very hard to keep his composure.

There is another pause.

"Do you want to know?"

"Yes."

"You sure?

"Yea."

"Just tell us already damnit and stop with the questions and cryptic shit!"

"Alright, alright, alright. I surrender." He puts his hands up, hovering slightly over the tablet.

"You might want to write this down because I'm going to go rapid-fire with no stops…and I'm only saying it once." He commented and his eyes skimmed the purple glowing tablet, and look at every letter, reading every variable. Sam had rummaged through his bag and pulled out a pencil and paper, waiting on the mark.

"Alright, in order to stop it, we need an Atlantic Pearl, the Grace of a Damned Angel, the horn of a Unicorn, and the Heart of a Manticore." He spouts out at light speed. Sam writes down everything to the last letter and looks up at Dani.

"Woah..." Jack's eyes slightly widen.

"I didn't know we Slim Shady in the building." Dean quietly sneered.

"That's it?" Jack questions, expecting more than just four ingredients.

"I'm not done yet." He says bluntly, and everyone goes quiet and listens in once more.

There is another pause.

"One must gain the virtues of a pure soul of the heavens to break the Seals of Eden. Once broken shall reveal what is truly lost to stop the Rise of the Fall." Marv finished with a slightly confused expression, as Cas pulled away the tablet and put it away.

"That doesn't seem so hard." Dean shrugged and chuckled lightly. "Except the Damned Angel thing...that sounds like it would be a problem."

"Dean, do you know what a Damned Angel even is?" Cas questions Dean with his arms crossed.

"Uh...a fallen one?" He answers, slightly unsure with his answer.

"Close, but no. A fallen angel is an angel that went against heaven or gods orders. Or commits a sin. But Damned Angels have a whole other title to being fallen, mostly high-level Archangels at best."

"Like Michael?" Jack questions.

"Like Michael," Cas confirms as he repeats Jack's question.

"Alright then. Let's go down the list. First up is The Atlantic Pearl." Sam read on the small folded-up paper.

"Where the hell are we going to find an Atlantic Pearl then?"

"The Atlantic dumbass," Dani commented, crossing her arms and shifting her weight.

There is a pause.

"So what? You're saying that damn thing is in Atlantis?" Dean was almost in disbelief. He knew Heaven and Hell existed, but Atlantis? "We've had run-ins with Fortuna and Zeus in the past, and they were dicks. Well, Fortuna wasn't that bad, but still."

"So how the hell are we going to the middle of the Atlantic then? It's not like feathers could just teleport us there," Dani paused and pointed her finger at Cas. "You can't do that, right?"

"No, I can't." Cas replied bluntly, "But there should be a cruise line or a ship that goes through it." he insisted.

"So all we have to find is the right location and right time!" Jack has a smile on his face, and he pulls out his phone and starts scanning through any possible ships that go through the Atlantic Ocean.

After the team's revelation, they started to get to work and thankfully their luck had paid off. With Sam's tracking and hacking skills being put to good use, they were able to find a boat tour that was docking in a few hours. It went right over the Atlantic, it was the perfect spot.

"Alright then, it's settled." Dean nod and agrees with Sam, heading back to the car.

"And where am I going to sit?" Marv puts his hands on his hips and gives Dean the look.

"Oh….well, uh…" Dean trails off, not knowing how it would work since they had Marv on the team, sort of. He kind of just stood there and complained, just like Metatron but more annoying.

"Are you sure this guy isn't Metatron?" Dean whispers over to Sam, "He seems to be real annoying.." Sam was catching his brother's drift, he too was starting to get the idea that this Marv could be the angel screwing with them.

"Yeah, but Cas said he was good. How could he make that up?"

"If he was able to trick Cas into closing the gates of Heaven, how do we know he's not playing us again?"

"Fair," Sam nods, switching his glace to the vessel.

"We could always put him in the trunk!" Dani poked her head out of the Impala's right-side window. Dean smirked at the given idea, looking back at his brother with a chaotic smile.

"Or we could always try the roof!" He slaps his hand on the top of the Impala making a small bang sound from his hand hitting the metal, making Marv shutter slightly.

"I am not!" He blurts back with a growl. Cas sighs and gets out of the car, and looks at the vessel with an annoyed expression. "You kill me!"

"At least you'll be comfortable,"

"Comfortably dead!"

"That's the point, now stop being a pain in my ass!"

"I'll take him." Cas says, looking at the rest of the team. "I'll bring him, and we will wait for you."

Dean furrows his eyebrows slightly, giving Cas a confused look. "You'll stay with that squirrely sun of a bitch? Are you off your comet Cas?"

"No. Don't worry Dean. He's not going anywhere." He reassures Dean, and give a small head nod. Dean huffs and starts up the car, making a light rev.

"Alright then," Dean says, and his face shows an emotionless expression, but Cas could tell not through his face. But through his eyes, they told a million words with just one glance, he was worried for the angel. He sighed, and shifted gears, driving off leaving only the smell of burnt rubber and exhaust in its wake.

Cas could have only seen that look a handful of times. He became reminiscent of the moment he was in the ring, possessed by Lucifer. It made him shutter. Those eyes, those damn uncertain puppy eyes that got to Cas faster than a supersonic fighter jet. He remembered every suffering moment, every word, every event like it was yesterday. It was haunting.

"D-Dean? Wha-What's going on…what's happening?" He remembered being out of breath. Exhausted, miserable. The scent of fire and flames surrounded him as the rings of fire burned brighter the longer he was in control. Angering Lucifer to pop back in, tempting him to let him take the wheel.

"Cas! You got to fight it Cas! Expel him!" Dean yelled in a tone of desperation. "Expel him Cas!" He said in a commanding tone, standing his ground. But the eyes once again, told a story of a scared little boy. One that had lost someone he treated as a brother more than a guardian angel.

"I. Can't." Cas thought to himself in his final moments. Looking at Dean and Sam with sorrow, and regret.

Then, it was back to black. Being pulled back into the insufferable void of his own empty, and bare mind. Watching, and waiting. Why? Why did he ever consent to the demon? Will he ever get over the insufferable guilt? How much pain and suffering he caused?

"Cas….." There was an audible sound of someone calling his name, but it was muffled in his hearing.

"Castiel…!"

It got louder.

"Earth to Castiel!" Marv waved his hand in front of Cas' face, snapping the angel back into reality.

"Huh?" Cas questioned and perked up.

"Did you just blank out feathers? I thought you were going to bring me to the dock!" He folded his arms and waited for Cas' response.

"Oh…uh..sorry." he apologized, he blinked a few times and shook his head in confusion at the sudden stall.

"You good? You were just staring into space for twenty minutes."

"That long?" He sighed and grabbed Marv's arm, "Alright, let's go. We can't keep the rest waiting,"

In a bright flash of light, Cas and the vessel were gone in the blink of an eye. As the light reached them, there was an echo of Marv screaming at the top of his lungs. They reappear in a flash of light, back turned to the waiting team. The Impala was parked on the sidewalk, only a walking distance away from the docks. Dean was leaning on the hood, Sam was on his phone doing some more research on Atlantis, and Jack was with Dani leaning over the docks and looking into the water.

Cas turned around to face Dean, letting go of Marv who looked like he was about to puke any second.

"My apologies for being...late."

"Don't worry about it," Dean shrugged and continued, "We still got a solid half an hour."

As the two talked, Marv on the other hand was leaning on a tree hurling. It seemed that teleportation had always gotten the human stomach twisted, which Cas never understood how could happen. Dean glanced over at the verge-to-puking vessel and clicked his tongue once. "Tsk..he'll be fine."

"Whatever you say," Cas glanced over at Marv again and huffed through his nose.

"Do you maybe think-"

"That he's actually Metatron?" Dean finishes Cas' sentence and gets off the hood of the car.

"Yes," Cas admits and crosses his arms in contemplation.

"I mean, we've been played by Metatron in the past, why wouldn't he do it again?" The duo both glance back at Marv, who was currently vomiting his brains out.

"But, if it was Metatron, he wouldn't be acting like…well," Cas gestures to Marv "That."

"Good point." Dean admits, and takes a swing of whiskey from his small metal flask. Sam walks up putting his phone away in his pocket, and looking at the two.

"Anything on Metatron?" Sam asked.

"It's not Metatron Sam. He claims his name is Marv." Cas corrects, "And I checked him over, and he wasn't lying." He added.

"Whatever," Sam rolls his eyes, and turns his glance over to Dani and Jack, who were talking and leaning over the railing of the dock.

Dean does a light whistle, "Well, we sure as hell raised him right!" He chuckles a little, and Sam gives him a punch to the shoulder.

"Dean!" He sighed and leaned on the passengers side of the car, as the trio turned their attention to the two Nephilim's chatting.

"Huh, I guess I would have never lived to see the day two Nephilim's chatting…and not killing each other." Sam said with a slight chortle.

"It seems Jack is enjoying being around her, I think it's a good change for him, ya know?" Dean answered.

Sam gives a raised eyebrow at his brother.

"Seriously Dean? You think Jack is in love with her?"

" Yeah, so what? I like to play matchmaker!"

" That's actually the Cupids and Cherub's jobs Dean." Cas answered flatly looking at the brothers with an interested expression.

"Whatever." He sighs and takes another sip, taking in the wholesome moment, and mentally scrapbooking it.
