Hello everyone. Here is the second chapter for this story. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)

After remembering her first meeting with the Rio Army veteran Alondra, Bia opens her eyes before letting out a sad sigh. She knows she misses Alondra, due to the fact it's been a long while since they had last saw each other before she went on another important mission. After dwelling on her memory of her friend, it's clear to Bia that she'll wait for her to return with this leading to her having ideas on what to do in the meantime until she sees Alondra again.

She decides to spend her time with her music-loving older sister Carla, who is currently spending time with her boyfriend. The latter is a Purple Macaw, who is called Crexis with the two having a special relationship as they had gone on many romantic dates with each other. The interactions between the two lovebirds, unfortunately had a negative impact on Bia as she wonders if she will ever get the chance to go out with the person that she truly loves herself.

It is not like she hasn't got a potential relationship blossoming already, considering her friendship with Carlos is growing. She is fully aware of the fact, he has developed feelings for her as she knows the son of Rafael and Eva is a potential good choice for her as a boyfriend. Despite this potential positive option however, it is already clear to her that she'd started to develop mysterious feelings for Alondra with the thought of it causing her to blush in an instant.

After she has come to the decision to spend some time with her sister, Bia begins to make her way towards her older sister. While on the way there, she once again has thoughts about Alondra as she thinks about the former's beautiful purple eyes with this making her smile. She quickly brings herself back to reality though, due to the fact she has arrived at her family's tree hollow where she sees Carla is currently busy listening to some of her music on her iPod.

"Hey Carla, you don't mind me spending time with you, do you?" asked Bia as she walks over to her older sister. "I'm just waiting for someone, I came here."

"Oh hey Bia, of course I don't mind, I have been growing bored" said Carla as she smiles at the mere sight of Bia. "Who are you waiting for? If you don't mind?"

"Thank you, Carla, I am actually just waiting for Alondra to come" said Bia as she takes a seat to Carla's left side. "It's been a long while, I've last saw her too."

"I understand, especially whenever Crexis goes off onto a mission" said Carla as she playfully gives Bia a nudge. "Besides, Alondra is beautiful, you got to admit."

"Yeah she is, she is the most beautiful bird I have ever seen in life" said Bia as she smiles before becoming stunned. "I can't believe I said that, out loud even."

"Hey hey it's ok, if it helps though, I know how you feel about her" said Carla as she smirks at Bia's surprised reaction. "I've seen the way you look at her, Bia."

Bia can't believe what she's actually hearing from her own older sister, the fact she already knows how she feels about Alondra. She remains surprised, before slowly turning her head to look at the ground below her as she tries to process the fact her secret is already out. While having her head lowered away from Carla, she feels a gently pat on her left shoulder only to look up to see it's her sister doing the patting until she chooses to gently caress her instead.

"I-I-I'm sorry, for keeping it a secret, I thought you would be mad" said Bia as she braces herself for Carla's response. "You know, for the secret and me being this."

"Why would I be mad, you're my sister Bia, I'll always love you, sis" said Carla as her expression becomes concerning. "I forgive you, plus I'm ok with you being this."

"You are? b-b-but other birds in the tribe will actually hate me for it" said Bia as she feels tears forming in her own eyes. "You know, for liking other girls romantically."

"If they have a problem with it, Bia, they will actually answer to me" said Carla as she gives Bia a big comforting smile. "Not just me, but also to Tiago, mom and dad."

"Even Pop-Pop, they would be massively scared of him, after all too" said Bia as she gives a small smile before frowning. "Does anyone else know? About me being this?"

"No, no one does, if they did, most supportive of you, my little sister" said Carla as she gently lifts Bia's chin up to see her. "Some may not, but Pop-Pop will deal with it."

"Yeah, you're right about that, thank you Carla, for your own support" said Bia as she smiles upwards towards her sister. "Also little? I'm not much younger than you, sis."

Carla lets out a giggle with it resulting in Bia having a giggle herself, until they both have let out a hug laughter at the joke itself. When they calmed down, Carla wraps Bia up into a sisterly hug as her younger sister reciprocates the kind action as they kept hugging each other. When they finally released each other from the hug, they both smile until they hear the sound of wings flapping as this catches their attention before they both run out to see what's happening.

Hmmm, who could it be? We'll have to wait to find out :)

Also, Happy Pride Month for all LGBT people out there, I hope you have a wonderful time. Also if there are any authors who are LGBT, I highly encourage you to write stories of your own in order to show everyone what you can do and to keep representing each other. You'll always have help in writing those stories whether it's now or in the future, whether it's from other LGBT authors or Straight Authors like myself as we will help you in normalizing every LGBT Person.

Plus, just a little heads-up, there may be a few authors who are anti-LGBT (one in particular that I know of), but they are just doing what is considered to be normal for them to do as it is what they have been used to growing up. Apart from those authors, most of the authors on this site are very supportive of you and they can help you with just about anything in anyway they can. Plus a message to LGBT people out there, it's ok to be yourself and you're normal too.

At the end of the day, we are all humans with thoughts, emotions, attractions and feelings. No matter who we are as a person, no one should judge at all.
