It is only 19:15pm Tuesday, and you all still must make it to the pit-stop station between the domes of four and three. Hopefully, you can get gas and more snacks. The mood is now improved, but small issues are still there that must be discussed. You drive hard and fast into the distant land as you all pass up exotic plants, trees, and small critters on the ground. Your only focus is finding out if Sarah is still alive and if not, it will open season on hunting the monster that killed her. With so much silence around you, it is time to break out some conversation. And it will be the conversation that no one likes to talk.

You say, "Hey Clark. Why are you such an asshole when it comes to being professional at the job? I mean, I understand you are the team leader here; however, you can back off and give some space at times?"

Clark looks at you, "And what the hell does that mean, Marvin? Matter fact, where did that come from? I am only keep us focused so we don't derail ourselves with anything when we are on the job. You got a lot of balls to say that about me."

Claire states, "Well, you have been kissing ass at times in the past when it came to certian officials that happen to be around us. So, this is a fair point against you."

Clark replies, "So, me being an asshole automatically makes me the bad guy? I am the same hard-working asshole that has been keeping this team together than looking for ways to sugar coat it."

To everyone's surprise, John says, "Yeah, you are an asshole, but a good man. You are only watching out for what is best for us and making sure we are staying on our Ps & Qs when it comes to work. So yeah. Clark Anders. You are a fucking assholes, but at least you are not like Claire."

You automatically said "WHOA". Now, some more shit is coming up as Claire turns to the back of the jeep.

She says, "And who the fuck are you suppose to be, John? You're a non-focused, bad joke telling, wanna-be silly jackass all the time. You can barely get some of your work done unless you need a moment to look like a fucking fool. Who the fuck are you fooling?"

Sherry says, "Ok, let's not do this. We are in this together and have a job to do."

You say, "Oh, here she comes. Here comes Ms. Nervous Finger. I know you are not telling us to be cool when you can't even hold your breath at times around bad things."

Sherry wants to cry, but instead, she roars, "Well, excuse me for not being you. I am not someone with an urge to go rescue my ex from a problem. What is it? Did you miss how good the sex was or are you just as lonely as some of the motherfuckers I met?"

Clark says, "Hey, everyone. Let's take a deep breath and breathe here. We are a team."

John aks, "Hey, first off, why did you say that to Clark and Sherry? What brought this up?"

Claire agrees, "Yeah, I don't get why you want us all mad at each other?"

You proudly answer, "We are going somewhere to deal with a problem that either invovles a monster or rescuing people from a murderer. Now, this is our time to get everything off our chest as friends and coworkers. We are not going to be fake friends; this is the real, in-your-face, deep conversation we are having as friends. So, let it all out if you got a problem with me, what I do, yourself, and your friends."

You continue as you turn a sharp corner in the dirt, "I can happily admit you are some stuck up, scary ass, no joke telling, strictly business friends. Clark, you are an asshole for a leader and rarely do you tell anyone to fuck off. John, your jokes are so terrible that your mom can't stand your silly ass. And what about you, Claire? A lot of times your dry ass attitude gets on my damn nerves. You sure you are not hanging around grave sites all the time? As for you, Sherry. You are just too nervous for his job at times and prefer to be in the office dealing with paperwork. Yes, I find that you guys all do annoying things at times, but I like you all as a real friend. So, what about me? I am sure you guys have something you wanna tell me before we get this shit start. I, Marvin Breningham, call you all out!"

Everyone is quiet until John says, "You are partially right about my jokes, but you are wrong about me. I may joke a lot, but that is because we got it easy. I grew up in a strict house where I felt like it was military. My father rarely smiled and my mom always kept us laughing. So, exucse the fuck out of me if I feel the need to tell bad jokes. Matter fact, here is a joke: Why is your mom's hips so wide? Because she is a wide load."

Clark chocks on his water and Claire laughs loud at the words. Sherry clamps down on her mouth, and you smile at the joke too. Everyone is now laughing and more is being said.

Sherry says, "Well, that was the funniest joke ever told. John got you. You know...oh fuck it. I really hated you at times, Claire. You do have this dry ass attitude that reminds me of my mother. She made it seem like nothing I do matters and that I need everything handed to me. That is why I am here. I want to prove to her that she made a mistake and not me. And being around you guys has been fun, but the dry ass mood from Claire can be depressing. That is until you surprised me today when I was feeling nervous."

Claire smirks and replies, "Well, my mood is dry because I am just like that. I didn't ask you guys to approve of my mood. You don't like it, then I can just request to go elsewhere or go back to earth. Hell, I am here to work and enjoy my time. So, if I die on my job or get caught up in it, then that means I am living. You fucking morons can go fuck yourself if you don't like it when I am dry at times. Speaking of dry, you want some water, John? Your last joke was almost as dry as your mom."

We all laugh again. It was nice to finally bring a lot of stuff out. Clark sighs, "Well, since we are all laying it out, I'll say this. I wish I had better people to work with, but I enjoy my time with you all because you are fucking nerve racking. John, you should really fix your clothes before you come to work. Claire, stop leaving stuff half-ass finished. Sherry, I don't need some pussy-punk bitch on the team because she can't stand blood or a dead body. As for you, Marvin Breningham. You better shut the fuck up and drive faster. You need to get over your ex-girlfriend and treat her like you treat us."

You smile at Clark, and everyone lets out a laugh. You all feel relieved of any issues as you see the pit-stop station in sight; the moment you all shared was needed for your team to make sure everyone is both aware and not holding anything back. As you pull into the station, you see a handful of people here. They welcome you; however, you all show signs of annoyance. John is still the most surprising since he spoke up for Clark; Claire is still herself with the way she acts, and Sherry looks tougher now. You decide to buy everything for your team at the station and gas it up the jeep to a full tank. As you stretch and use the restroom, you take the time to get to know the people.

One person approaches you and says, "Hi, how are ya'll doing? The name is Greg. I take it you guys are going to dome four as well?"

Clark answers, "Yes, we are. We may need more coffee and water for the trip. Good thing Marvin here is buying it all."

Greg looks at you and asks, "You are buying everything for them here? You are a nice person. I would have made these folk buy their own stuff."

You say, "Yeah, I am just that nice. Plus, I owe them all one."

You step away from everyone to go gas up the jeep. The mood may have changed, but it was for a good cause. Should anything happen to them, you want everyone to be at peace and ready to back each ither up. You look at the email Sarah sent you. It reads: "I'll be calling you tonight. We need to talk. Officer Harper. 040-764-8231." You still doubt that she didn't mean any harm by telling you to stay away, but your mind is conflicted with the voice mail she left you. It said: "Hi...Can you...hear me? I just wanted...to say...I'm sorry. I shouldn't...have told.. you that. I really wish...you were here. I finally found...the killer. Oh wow...the sky looks beautiful. Oh shit...it is not dead. I wish I had more...time. It is...sending something...to me. I can't...move." You don't know which one to believe, but you know that things are looking grim. You will find her and get to the bottom of this.

The jeep is gassed up, the snacks are brought, and it is time to roll. You pay for everything and now a new surprise comes to you.

Clark and John agree to sit in the front. Claire and Sherry will be behind them. Everyone agrees you need a time-out and leave the gunner seat for you. You agree to do so with no problem; there is only thirty minutes left before you all make it to the dome. Now, you hear joy and good conversation coming from the front. John, Clark, Claire, and Sherry are all getting along; they make sure to include you in the chat despite how you started off evening. The rest of the trip to dome four is now full of confessions, but everyone lets it die down. This is not the time to be off point and unbalanced. After you come over the hill-top, you all see it. Dome four looks...dark? The dome is mostly dark, but a few lights are on in various areas.

The guns are being checked by Claire and Sherry; John is checking over the map of the dome. Clark is watching the road, and you are wondering how so much power is now reduce to a few lights. The drive to the entrance keeps you all alert and ready. You arrive at the entrance to find it a mess. The jeep can barely go through and grinds against the walls. It looks as if someone tried to destroy it. Once the jeep is through, the doorway is blocked by the falling rubble; Clark parks the jeep at the first building. It is a small apartment complex and time to see if anyone is home.

Clark says, "Ok, we are going to check this place out before we go deeper in. Claire and John, you two cover and watch the entrance. Sherry, Marvin, and I will check out the building's inside. Keep your radios on and remember to stay safe."

John adds, "Yeah, we are family despite any other issues we have with each other at times. You still owe us more for the problems you started earlier."

You agree, "Yes, I know. I will make it up to you all before this night is over. And remember, we are the space cop family."

Claire replies, "Yeah, if we are family, then I need to ask for a refund."

The light joke has you all laughing, but now, you must go in. Clark takes the main floor and Sherry goes up to the second floor. You decide to go all the way up to the top. Good thing for you, this apartment complex is only six stories tall. You hop on the elevator and press the floor six button. All that goes through your mind is why the emergency lights are on. Maybe, there was a power outage? Did someone not make repairs to this place? The building looks a mess. You come to your floor and step out.

Oh shit, no lights are up here. You pull out your flash light and get a better view. Looks like the people left everything behind. There are clothes on the floor and items are everywhere. You move slowly forward and check the halls. Darkness and nothing else to see. You come to the first rooms to your left and right. You step inside to find thngs knocked over and looked through. Someone must have been in a hurry, or they tried to rob the place quickly. You turn around and go intto the next room. It is pretty clean and only a few things open. What is that damn noise you keep hearing? It sounds like a TV in another room. You come out and move down the hall to the next room. Both doors are locked.

The next room has a door open, and the other is locked. You step inside to find the TV still going. You move for it and turn it off. You turn around and find someone over your shoulder with their eyes locked on you. The man makes you jump, but he falls over. You look at him and wonder what is wrong. He grips his stomach and rolls on his back; he is bleeding badly. You try to call it in, but the man stops you.

He speaks with a weak voice, "Do...not...go...out...there."

The man dies before another word comes from him. You look over his wound; it is not pretty. It looks as if his entire torso was ripped open. You get up to keep moving and make sure nothing would get you as you turn each moment. You come to the end of the hall and find a large opening has been made to go out of it. You sigh and don't know what is going on. You find a wounded survivor who dies from a terrible wound. There is a large opening in the wall. This is one way to start off your evening here. Clark calls over the radio.

He says, "Stand-by. I found the power supply. The lights will be coming on in 5...4...3...2...1."

The lights turn on in the building, but there are too many problems where no lights are on. You see the sixth floor with lights all around you, but there is nothing to report. You make your way down the stairs to the fifth floor. Sherry broadcasts her location and proceeds upstairs to the third floor. John and Claire report nothing is happening outside; Clark accesses the logs to see what he can learn. After a while of searching, you and Sherry meet on the fourth floor.

She says, "What happen here? The place looks a mess, and everyone is gone."

You answer, "It is safe to say something or someone was here. I found a wounded man on the sixth floor, but he died from his cuts. Something large cut into him."

Clark calls to you and Sherry, "You guys come on down. We need to move on from here."

You, Sherry and Clark gather outside with Claire and John. There is nothing to report, but you all know someting is not right.

John says, "Well, since this building is a disaster, what do you think the next block will show us?"

Claire says, "I don't know, but let's hope the main blocks have more to tell. We need proof and not another scene of carnage."

You all pile into the jeep and drive further in to the busy zone. You see the streets are quiet. Nothing or no one is out and about. It's as if a cufew has put everyone in fear of what is outside. Boom! A large block hits the jeep and you come to a stop. Everyone looks up and around. No one is around, but something made a block hit your jeep.

Sherry says, "What was that? What hit the jeep?"

Clark answers, "Someone is here, and they want to play. We will park the jeep at the HQ for the police here. After that, Claire will keep the keys on her. Let's move it."

You drive your team to the HQ police force for the dome. You look left and right to find cars are left behind at various areas. Something must have frighten everyone badly. You show up to find blood, three bodies, and death in the front. You all get out slowly wth your guns aiming. You advance slowly as your team backs you up. You come to the first body and check for a name tag. You find one and it reads: Scott. He was apart of team three, and there are three massive holes in his torso. Clark checks the other two bodies across from it. The name tags read: Celetial & Connor. They both are missing their face in different ways.

John and Claire look at the surroundings and keep their focus on high alert. Sherry is worried and keeps her eyes shut off from the death around her. She turns around and sees movement by some garbage cans. She walks over slowly with her gun ready. Her breathing gets faster and heavily. She doesn't know what is there, but you look over and call to her. Out from the garbage cans, a cat runs pass her. She almost screams so loud that the whole block hears her. Clark, John, Sherry, and you gather around her; she is shaken but ok. The noise of glass breaking is coming from inside. The noise of a survivor is certain; you all take positions with Sherry in the middle followed by Clark and you at the front. Claire and John bring up the rear, but now it is important to be ready. You step inside and find quite a surprise.
