The room is quiet and all emergency lights are on. Great, this is the second building that must have power restored to it. Good thing, Clark is with you. And the place is a mess. A fourth body is on the floor with the face missing. Clark takes a knee beside it and notices how clean the attack is. The name tag reads: Paul. He has his gun in his hand, but did he fire it before or after his face was ripped off. You move forward as Claire and John help Sherry handle the sight of a gruesome death. You step to the counter and discover a severed arm; there is blood on the floor, and no body next to the arm. You look over to the left and see a blood spot to discover a body. It is: Cassie. She has her face, but the shock of her arm taken off must have killed her.

Sherry says, "Can we please leave now? I don't want to see this any more."

Clark sighs, but he understands, "Sherry. Claire. You two wait outside by the door and keep an eye out; we will search the rest before locating the generator."

Sherry hurries out the door with Claire behind her. John comes over to the right and calls out the next victim. It is: Alex. He is missing his face too.

John says, "Clark, this is all kinds of wrong. We have too many dead people here that are missing a face, got their arm taken off or worse."

You say, "We are all aware of it, John. I just hope there are some survivors here; we gotta find out what came through here. I'll check the back rooms out and head upstairs."

Clark looks at the desk to see who has was checked in here by the receptionist; John checks the next few rooms for anything useful. You go to the back and find a set of stairs leading up. There is a soft noise being made upstairs. Maybe, it is the cat from early. You go upstairs and keep your gun ready; the light shines in dark places. You aim and turn as much as you can, yet it is quiet and scary to know you can't see what is moving around. You check the rooms and find nothing moving around them. You check out one more room and don't see anything. There is nothing here for now. You make it back down stairs to meet up with John and Clark.

John says, "Well, we got a total of six dead cops here with their face or limps torn off, but that doesn't explain who killed them. We know that a monster is killing them. So, what is next?"

Clark answers, "We only checked the main floors; we need to go further into the look at the other rooms towards the exit. John and I will check the top one more time. You go to the back and see what you can find."

Sherry and Claire check in; John replies to them. You start checking the back rooms on the first floor and look at everything that comes in your sight. You open the door to the hallway; it is quite a mess for you. At the corner of the hall is a new corpse; you advance slowly and keep checking the walls around you. You get to the body and find it a bloody mess. Like before, this is someone with their face ripped off. Simon Myers was telling the truth. You come around the corner and hear something fall. You slowly advance and check every little thing out.

An empty can of soda was on the floor. You see it and move forward some more. There is wind blowing outside. Your nerves are tickling your skin; you smell the stale air mixed with blood.

You thought, "This is some scary shit. What happen here...Oh shit!"

You nearly fall over a small stack of paper. You catch your breath only to be tackled to the ground. The flash light is knocked from your hand and it is too dark to see anything. You and the attacker struggle for the gun. A shot is fired, and your team moves to your location. You try and back-hand the assailant with your fist, but the hostile person dodges your attack. They try to get your legs, but you counter with kneecap hits to the chest. The target blocks the assault and surprises you with a trip to the legs. You catch your balance before falling and roll away. You pull out your ankle gun and aim to see someone that was hurt hours ago. She stands before you with blood on her uniform and her body fragile from the fighting. She has beautiful eyes and kept her hair short in a pony tail.

You say, "Sarah...you're alive?"

She replies, "Marvin, you're...here? How..."

John, Clark, Sherry, and Claire find you both staring at each other. The team is surprised to see her standing.

Clark says, "Sarah Harper? It is us."

She looks at the others and falls to the floor, exhausted. They move her from the area and take her outside. From there, you are trying to do all that you can to help. Her vitals are strong, but she is phyiscally exhausted from everything that has been going on. Clark radios HQ for dome three while Sherry and Claire give her as much water as they can. You and John keep a watchful eye on the road. It is strange to see her looking a mess and covered in blood. You hope the blood is not hers.

John says, "It must be weird to see her again. I don't know what you are thinking, but hopefully, she can fill in the gaps around here."

You say, "I just want her to get better for now. Whatever else is going on, she and I can talk about it later. I'm surprise to see her doing so well after the last few days; she must have endured a lot here without any backup. The town is too quiet, and it feels dead."

John agrees with you; everyone comes together as Sarah recovers. It didn't take long for her to be among old friends and one ex-lover. She may not be happy to see you, but Sarah is glad you came here to help.

She says, "I didn't expect you guys to be sent here."

John replies, "Well, when you need the best, you send the rest back home."

Sarah shakes her head, "And you are still horrible at telling jokes, John. Sherry, I see you got better. And hello, Claire. I didn't think you would come here."

Claire answers, "Someone had to come help you."

Sherry smiles, "You are a friend. We had to come make sure you are alright."

Clark asks, "The reunion is touching, but we need answers. What happen here? Where is everyone?"

Sarah sighs heavily, "I thought the murders were being caused by someone. It turns out I was wrong. Some group of people are using an animal to murder people and blame it on the creature. We have to find them and stop this insanity. The last few areas I checked out was city hall, the eastern side of the dome, and near the rocks. Each time, it is someone different trying to use the animal. If they can't use the animal correctly, it kills them. There are only a few people left to do it."

With the answers given, everyone is ready to take down some outlaws and kill a animal terrorizing the dome. You sense there is something wrong here, but you dare not ask with everyone around.

Clark contacts HQ for an objective update. Capt. Johnson responds, "You all need to head to the city hall and make sure no one else is there. Once you done enough, bring back officer Harper and any survivors."

Everyone agrees to the plan, but Sarah says, "No, I can't leave until I kill the damn thing. It has to be stopped before anyone else gets hurt."

Sherry asks, "What's wrong, Sarah? Why do we need to stay here? Our jeep can only hold, but so many people. We need to make sure you are ok."

Sarah coldly says, "I am ok, and I don't need you all running from here just because an animal is loose. We need to stay here and use what we got to stop it."

John states, "Yeah, we are talking about an animal that can rip off a person's face with no problem. We need more firepower to kill this thing if it is that dangerous. Oh, and we need more vehicles for transporting people if there is anyone left. So, have some sense, officer Harper."

She turns to John, "Oh fuck you if you want to leave that badly. I need to make sure it is dead."

You snatch her up and yell, "This is not the time for any of your ego, your pride, or whatever the hell is wrong with you. We found you alive and not dead. If there is anyone else at city hall, we will locate a vehicle for them first. Once we do that, then we will get everyone out of here. No ands, ifs, or buts Officer Sarah Harper. I didn't come out here to watch you play the fool with your life again."

Everyone backs up since you both are ready to throw hands on each other, but Clark steps to you both.

He says, "We will search for a large vehicle and bring it with us to city hall. If we find anyone, then we will take them back to dome three with us. Does anyone have a problem with that? And yes, if we see the monster, then we will kill it."

No one says a word and Sarah takes leave of you. You hold back your feelngs, but everyone stays silent for now. You drive around the dome searching for a large transporting vehicle. Luck is on your side when you see a large truck with room for twenty people in the back; John goes to test it. It is roaring with power and ready to roll. You and Claire decide to ride in it; everyone else stays in the jeep as you leave for city hall.

Claire looks to you and says, "I know this is not the time, but try not to put your own feelings into this matter. She is under a lot of stress after seeing so much go wrong. ANd the fact that you are here makes it harder."

You reply sharply, "Oh yeah, I get it. She is under stress, but that doesn't mean go on a suicide run. We don't know what type of monster these crazy people are using and dealing with. No one has seen it but the ones who are using it. We need to regroup at dome three and go from there."

Claire understands, "I get what you mean, but we don't want either of you caught up by your past. So, we will do this by the book and go from there. You two stay away from each other, and focus on the job."

You shrug your shoulders and pray nothing else comes up. After ten more minutes of driving, you all arrive at city hall. It looks like something tried to tear down the front door. You all exit your vehicles and slowly move to the door. Sarah boldly walks in as though no danger is present. You and Clark follow her closely with the others right behind you. It is a mess inside, but there is no blood. The only question that remains: "Where are the survivors?"

You ask Sarah, "Is there anyone left here?"

Sarah answers, "There are some people here, but they went to the back and locked themselves up in the chamber room. They should be there; I know by now they are probably low on rations. You all go there, and I'll search the other rooms."

Before you can join her, Clark suggests, "How about you and Sherry search the rooms together? This is not the time to be a sole cop. Sherry, go with her. You two keep your radio line open."

Sarah agrees to the idea, but more and more, she sounds annoyed that you all came here. Why did her attitude change so suddenly?

After they leave, Claire says, "So, what is up her ass? Why does she have to do things alone?"

You answer, "She has always been like that. Even when we were together, she felt the need to do things on her own at times."

Clark replies, "Well, you picked a stubborn one. She is not easy to put up with. Is that the cop training, or is she just doing it because you are here?"

You ignore the question and head for the chamber room in the back. Clark, John, and Claire follow you. To your surprise, it is safe and secure. No sign of damage is done to the door. John knocks on it; there is movement within the chamber. Clark pulls him back quickly. Clark taps the door only to see bullets fly through it. Whoever is inside, they are not willing to come quietly.

John shouts, "This is Officer John Hopkins of dome three law enforcements. I need you all to stand down. We are here to get you out of here."

A voice says, "You are not getting us to do anything. We will die before we go anywhere with you."

Clark replies, "Thie is Lieutenant Clark Anders. I need you all to stand-down and let us get you out of here. We are here to take you to safety."

A second voice shouts, "You ain't getting me. I'll kill you before I let you get me."

You do the unthinkable and move to the door with your side arm placed away.

You say, "Look, I am coming in there. You all can place your weapons away and calm down; I am Marvin Breningham. We are here to help you guys and gals. Please, let us help you."

You step from cover and see the faces of fear. The group is nervous, ready to shoot, and afraid. You walk inside and assure the people that nothing is going to happen. The people lower their guns and give you thanks. Clark, John, and Claire step inside. People are glad to see you and want to get out of here."

A man comes forward with a dome three police uniform on. It is Frank from team two, and he is hugging Clark.

He says, "Please, tell me you got a large vehicle to get us all out of here. We got thirty people in here and need to get them to dome three."

Clark says, "We will make room in the transport outside. Right now, my only question for you is simple. Can you all walk?"

It didn't take long for people to be ready to leave. You all escort them to the front door and show them the large vehicle. People didn't care if they have to sit on the floor or in each other's lap. They all want to leave. John and Claire help the people get aboard with Frank guiding them. A radio call comes from Sherry. You take it.

She says, "Clark? John? Anyone? We need help over here. We are a block from you guys. Please come and help us."

You alert Clark, "I'm going to help them. Stay here and keep getting the people loaded up."

You rush over to find them. Sherry provides you the location; it sounds more troubling by the minute. You have to hurry to save your partner and ex-lover. You come around the corner and see Sherry hiding by a dumpster; she is in tears.

She tearfully says, "I lost Sarah. She ran off to follow someone or something. I just want to go home."

You say, "Don't worry. Let's get back to the city hall building, and we will get you home."

You help her stand up and return back to the team. Everyone is loaded up, but there is room for only one to sit. You agree to walk and search for a new means of transportation. Luck is on your side again when you find a similar jeep just down the road from the building. You locate the keys in the dashboard and give it a go; the jeep is running fine.

Clark says, "I hope everyone is ready for the trip home. We got a lot to report on."

You say, "You get them all back to dome three. I am going to search for Sarah. Sherry, what was her last location?"

John replies, "You can't go alone. We don't split up..."

You turn to him, "I know we shouldn't split up, but I will not leave her behind. If I don't get her, then why even bother saving anyone."

With your mind set on Sarah, you nearly drive off until Sherry says, "The last place she went to was the mine. She claims the city was gathering materials from here. It is not too far from here. Pleasae, be careful."

Your last reply to them: "Alright, space cop family. I'll leave if it is too dangerous for me. Now, get your ass back to dome three."

You bid your team goodbye and drive in the direction of where the mine is. Your thoughts are racing and hopefully, you will find Sarah Harper alive and well. The creature is the last thing on your mind; however, if you encounter it, the handgun will make sure to send each bullet through its head.
