During the next few days, while everyone tried to recover from what happened with some still being hospitalized. The police were still investigating how the villains even managed to break in.

With the information that the students were able to provide about some of the villains quirks, it was still hard to pinpoint exactly how, with most speculating that it was likely due to Kage since thanks to their records they found that he was able to teleport anywhere he wanted to, as long as he's been to that location at least once or was in close contact with someone who had.

They were able to apprehend at least one of the villains named Yasha. Her quirk allowed her to get into people's dreams and create any nightmares she wished as well as find out someone's deepest fears. When being questioned for new information, the authority had no luck since she wouldn't talk.

The media on the other hand was all over the place since this wasn't the first time in UA history that the school had been attacked. Even though a vast number of people still believed in the heroes and still supported them, there were still those who didn't and refused to believe in them any longer.

With all the villainous activities from last year as well as the battle against All For One and Shigaraki, you could tell that they still blamed the hero courses to some degree saying it was their fault since they had always been targeted.

So, you could just imagine how some of the parents felt, so it came to no surprise that even though they supported the school they still felt the need to pull their kids out and send them to different schools just to keep them safe.

The media was still outside the school trying to get their hands on any information or statements in regard to what exactly happened as well as why there was another group of villains with a now known Toga on the loose.

Uraraka stared silently out the hospital window watching as the calm December snow slowly dropped down creating a cloud like blanket on the streets below. It was rather quiet on what it would be a school day but given the circumstances the school decided to give the students time off to recuperate and give the parents time as well. Everyone was expected to be back after that, but they understood if the parents decided otherwise.

She stayed that way for a while since she had woken up not too long ago. Going over all the events that had happened. She had yet to talk to anyone else and heard about most of what happened from the tv and the nurses. And she wasn't allowed to have any visitors yet, but in a way, she was glad because she didn't think she was up for it.

"Hey you're up!"

Looking at the reflection from the window she quickly turned her head towards the door surprised to see him there.

"Hawks? What are you doing here?"

Leaning against the door frame stood the winged hero giving her a lazy smile. "The one and only. What don't tell me I'm not wanted." He chuckled watching her trying to sit up and wincing at the pain on her side. "Hang on let me help you." He said, helping her. "You know you shouldn't push yourself too hard. After all, you're healing from a knife wound kid."

"I'll be fine."

"Uh-huh." He said looking out the window. "Not saying that you aren't. But it's been a hell of a lot what you guys have had to go through." Turning his head after she stayed quiet, he walked closer to the bed. "So, can I get you anything…water? A magazine? Some candy?"

Folding her arms, she puffed out a stream of air. "Hawks I'm not a little kid."

"It works on Tokoyami…" he said under his breath. Letting his golden-brown eyes glance at the various get well soon cards as well as a bouquet of cherry blossoms sitting neatly in a beautiful white vase. "Looks like you're pretty popular huh." Walking over to it he picks up the small card attached to the flowers. "Boyfriend?"

Frowning in confusion since she hadn't made the effort yet to look at everything, she shakes her head. "No- I'm sorry Hawks, not trying to sound rude or anything but why are you here?"

"Straight to the point…I like that kid." He grinned. "Well to answer your question as you probably already know most of what happened, we're still investigating the incident. Given the information we already have, it's my job to see if there's anything that we may have overlooked."

"So, you want to know if I know anything that'll help you?"

"Basically. You were asleep for quite a while having lost a bit of blood when you were stabbed, so of course before we let any visitors in, we had to speak to you first." Sheepishly rubbing his neck, he smiled. "And let me tell you it wasn't an easy task to convince some of your classmates to leave I'll tell you that…"

"Yeah." she quietly said looking at her hands.

"But do you think there's anything else that we may have missed or that you can remember?"

Biting her lip, she thought for a moment before it hit her. "I guess…Toga did mention something about that she wasn't done and that she had already…won?"

Nodding Hawks rubbed his chin. "Hmm…and that's all she said?"

"Well…" not sure if she wanted to share this information, but she knew that she eventually had to. "She did say something about there being someone that…wanted me dead."

"You don't say…" Hawks frowned looking deep in thought. "Did she say who?"

Shaking her head, she saw that there was something the pro was keeping to himself, but he quickly masked it behind his usual smile.

"I'm not sure if this would be much help but-"

Lifting up his hand he smiled. "Hey, believe it or not it's a start."

"Ok." she nodded. "I didn't know you were still working with the police."

Shrugging his shoulder, he pulled up a chair to sit next to her. "Old habits I suppose."

"Oh. W-well can you do me a favor and not mention this to anyone? I just don't want them to worry."

"Funny you should mention that because there's another reason, I'm here kid."

"Oh?"

"Because of everything that's happened and from the looks of it…all signs point to Toga being interested in-"

"Me."

"And apparently not just her." Giving her a serious look, he leaned forward on his elbows. "So, we think it would be best if you had someone to keep an eye on you just in case."

Lifting an eyebrow, she tilted her head. "And I suppose that someone is you?"

Placing a dramatic hand to his chest Hawks gasped. "How did you know!"

Giggling, she shook her head. "Just great."

"But yes, yours truly will be your own personal bodyguard. Think of me as your handsome angel on your shoulder."

"I appreciate it Hawks, but that's really not necessary." She frowned. "I can take care of myself."

"I know kid. We all do trust me. But it doesn't hurt to have backup every now and then, right?"

Thinking back to a similar conversation she had with someone else she silently nodded, deciding to ignore the warm feeling in her chest at the thought of him. "So that means everyone will know that I'm being targeted huh?"

"At least you parents." Seeing her stare outside with a sullen look he cleared his throat. "Now you still have time until school starts back up, so just let me know when you're ready to go home before that." He said pulling out a get-well card from his pocket along with a small collectable Hawks action figure.

"Really?" she said rolling her eyes.

"Hey! It's signed and everything!" he grins, placing it next to the other cards and writing something on it. "Plus, I had to basically fight an old lady and her grandson for it!"

"You didn't!"

Chuckling he looked up. "I actually did. But it's alright." He shrugged "I promised to attend his little birthday party in a few weeks as the special guest."

"Serves you right." she mumbled.

"Alright I wrote my number on that card too so let me know when you're ready to leave kid. I'll let the nurses know to go ahead and let the others visit." He said heading for the door.

Clenching the sheets, she turned to him. "Um Hawks can we leave…now?"

"SHE DID WHAT?!"

"Alright man. Let's stay calm." Kirishima said as he franticly tried to stop a fuming Bakugo who was marching down the hall finally having been rid of those damn crushes and was tightening his grip on the plastic bag he was holding.

"Yeah dude this is a hospital!" Kaminari shouted holding a few pink and white balloons as all eyes were on them.

"Like I give a shit! How could she just leave and in her condition without saying anything?!" Bakugo glared at the red head having stopped in front of her door.

Looking around Kirishima scratched his head. "Um…why are you asking me?" Giving Kirishima an exasperated look, he just shrugged. "Well maybe…something came up. Or maybe she really wanted to go home. Or maybe she wanted to travel the world and join the circus and become famous who the heck knows man!"

"Really?" Giving him a skeptical look Bakugo ran his hand through his hair.

"You asked me! How am I supposed to know!" Kirishima frantically lifted his hands.

"Guys?" Kaminari said as a nurse walked up to them.

"May I help you?"

"YES!" all three boys said as she widened her eyes startled at the yelling.

"Ochaco Uraraka, where is she?!" Bakugo demanded.

"Ah yes, the girl that left the other day with the hero Hawks." She nodded.

"Hawks?" Kirishima said. "Hawks was here again?"

"Yes. She was well enough to leave so they left first thing yesterday."

"Of course, that fuckin big bird would be here."

"Um...thank you." Kaminari said smiling as the nurse walked away giving all three suspicious looks.

"Dude, you need to work on your people skills." Kirishima grinned.

"Whatever. Let's go." Turning Bakugo quickly headed down the stairs and out the building.

"Woah Bakubro you alright?" Kaminari said running after him while trying to control the balloons from flying off and repeatedly hitting him in the face. "Come on!"

"If she really wanted to see us, she would have." Bakugo plainly stated. Stopping as he tightened his jacket around himself staring up at the falling snow.

"Dude, you don't know that." Kirishima pats him on the back. "And who knows maybe you'll see her when we go back to work again today."

Grunting Bakugo continuing to walk.

"How about it Kaminari? Feel like doing some manly work with us today?"

"Actually, I'm going to go see Jirou, she wants to go check out this new music store they opened at the mall." Kaminari said looking away with a small blush.

"Ahh…I get it." Kirishima nodded with a small smile holding his thumb up.

"But I can be there tomorrow."

"Ok. Sounds good. They are almost done with it anyways so it would be the perfect time. Right Bakubro?"

"Whatever." Shoving the plastic bag towards Kaminari Bakugo continued on his way.

"Mochi?" Kaminari questioned staring after them.

As Uraraka sat on her bed reading a few days later, she heard a faint knock on her door. "Come in?"

Peeking her head inside, Mrs. Uraraka smiled as she entered and closed the door behind her. "Everything alright sweetheart?"

"Of course." She smiled as she sat up.

"I just came to check and see how you were doing."

"Oh, I'm fine mom. Don't worry about me." She smiled.

"So, all those calls you've been getting from your friend's downstairs for the last few days and I'm pretty sure you have many missed calls on your phone too. Are because…?"

Looking down she played with her finger pads. "I'm just not ready yet…I don't even know what I would say to them. They must hate me."

"You're an excellent judge of character Ochaco…so remember they're your friends for a reason." Placing one of her hairs behind Urarakas ear she continued. "I don't really know everything that's happened, but I do know that I have one of the stronger daughters out there that won't let something like this slow her down. Now your friends, I'm sure are really worried about you. And I know you care about them too."

"I do."

"Ochaco…your father and I want to talk to you about something."

"Huh? What about?"

Hearing a doorbell, Mrs. Uraraka got up. "We'll talk about it later. I'll see who that is."

Laying back down she thought back to her friends, it wasn't like she hated any of them, as a matter of fact it was the opposite. She couldn't help but blame herself for what happened. If it wasn't for her then none of her classmates would have been in danger to start off with. If it wasn't for her, no one would have to be sent home. If it wasn't for her, the school wouldn't be dealing with all this hostility once more.

It didn't matter what she did…this always happened. What kind of hero was she? She couldn't save her classmates…she couldn't even save herself. Now Toga and the rest were out loose somewhere, and no one knew anything. "What kind of hero am I..." she quietly said.

Walking down the stairs Mrs. Uraraka stopped as Hawks walked by. "Don't worry Mrs. U, I got it."

"Oh, Thank you Hawks. I'll just go check on the food." she said, heading towards the kitchen before shouting over her shoulder. "You haven't touched the fried chicken, have you?"

"Um…of course not." He said looking away.

"Uh-huh." Smiling, she walked off.

Upon opening the door, he was greeted by a smiling Kirishima, along with a scowling Bakugo.

"Hey guys! Haven't' seen you since the other day!"

"Hey man! Everything alright?" Kirishima grinned as they greeted each other.

"Yeah, just the usual you know." He shrugged. "Can't complain."

"Cut the bullshit. Where is she?"

"Bakugo my man always so polite." Hawks smirked. "But just like last time she's not here."

"Right. Like I believe that shit." he said, looking towards her window. "Look I'm not a fuckin idiot alright. If she wasn't here, then you wouldn't be here either. I've been patient with your ass-"

Scoffing Hawks smiled. "Patient? Is that what that is kid?"

Narrowing his eyes Bakugo took a small step "The fuck you just call me?"

"That is what you are is it not?" Smirking Hawks saw Bakugo red eyes flare while he shrugged. "And hey I do like her mom's cooking."

Placing his hand on Bakugos shoulder, Kirishima gave Hawks a worried look. "Hey man, we just want to know if she's here and if she's alright that's all."

Looking between the two Hawks let out an exasperated sigh. "She's fine alright."

Shrugging Kirishima's hand off Bakugo stomped away shoving his hands in his pockets. "Fine."

"Who was it?" Uraraka asked as she walked down the stairs after Hawks closed the door.

"Some of your classmates asking to see if you were here."

"Oh…" she said as she walked to the dining area.

"You know it's really not my place, but you should really talk to them."

"I know..."

X

The next day Uraraka groggily came down the stairs after checking all the missed calls and messages on her phone including an unknown number, deciding to at least write them back later to let them know she was alright. Even though she wasn't having nightmares as often anymore she still found herself unable to get a good night's rest due to her nerves and decided to talk to Ms. Yano once she was back at UA.

"Hey look who's finally awake!" Mr. Uraraka mused as he drank his coffee.

"Yeah, sorry about that, had a rough night."

"Everything alright?" Hawks asked sitting down eyeing his breakfast.

"Yeah."

"Well now that you're here, your father and I wanted to talk to you about something before he has to go into work today."

"Oh yes that's right. I remember." Uraraka smiled as she poured herself some juice.

"Right. So, there's really no easy way to say this Ochaco. But given everything that's been going on…and how your scheduled to go back soon. Your mother and I feel it would be best if we moved you to a different school." Mr. Uraraka said.

"What!" She said standing up as she looked at them shocked.

"Ochaco, we love you and understand that you still want to become a hero and we fully support that. But you need to look at it from our point of view. How many times have you kids been getting caught up in something just because you went to that school?" her dad said.

"Yeah, I know but-"

"Ochaco, we haven't seen any of the other schools having to deal with the same things you've had. Like your father said we support any decision you make but this is something you won't understand until you have children of your own and would do anything to protect them."

Looking awkwardly between them, Hawks silently chewed on his breakfast before clearing his throat. "So, this looks like a family matter so I'll just…." He quickly lifted his plate, walking to another room.

"I don't want to leave UA."

"Ochaco are you still wanting to be a hero? Remember you can be anything you want, and we will support you." Mr. Uraraka asked.

"Yes." she quietly said. "I have to be."

Looking back at his wife, Mr. Uraraka sadly nodded. "Alright Ochaco…if this is truly what you want then we'll see it through, but at a different school."

"Dad-"

"And your friends I'm sure would understand. We've already spoken to you teachers and principal about it."

"This isn't happening." She said taking a step back.

"Ochaco." Her dad stood up placing a hand on her shoulder. "We love you more than anything in this world. If something were to ever happen to you again...just think about it ok."

Shaking her head, she quickly turned and walked outside.

"Ochaco!"

X

After walking around town for a while to try and clear her head, she returned home and helped her mother with dinner while Ichiro and Hotaru were busy talking with Hawks.

"I understand Ochaco and I'm sure everyone will too." Mrs. Uraraka smiled. "Hey sweety do you mind bringing your father his dinner? He's been so busy working he hasn't had a chance to eat."

"That's no problem I'll take it to him right away." She nodded as she put her Jacket on.

"Woah there baby bird not so fast." Hawks quickly got up.

"I can go myself Hawks."

"Yeah, but rather be safe."

"You don't have to follow me everywhere you know." She said rather annoyed as she walked down the street with people staring and pointing at the pro hero.

Smirking, he waved at some of the people. "It's fine."

"Hawks! Hawks! Can I take a picture?!" A few girls asked as he smugly grinned.

"Sure. Hope you don't mind kid."

Smiling Uraraka shrugged her shoulder. "Of course not, be my guest."

As the hero took a few pictures and some autographs he failed to notice Uraraka taking this chance to quickly run off towards her dad's construction site.

After a few minutes she finally made it inside the open building panting before having to cover her face as the wind almost blew her away.

"EEP!"

"That was a dirty trick." Hawks said landing in front of her, not at all pleased.

Unable to hold in her laughter she shrugged. "Well, I told you I could take care of myself, didn't I? and look I made it!"

Lifting up his phone he rolled his eyes. "Do you even know how to use one of these?!"

"Apparently she doesn't."

Stiffening at the familiar gruff voice behind her they both turned to see Bakugo and Kirishima staring at them, each holding a couple of wood beams.

"Bakugo…Kirishima…" she whispered staring wide eyed at the calm looking Bakugo.

"Oh, hey look who it is!" Hawks grinned.

"Hey Hawks." Kirishima waved. "Hey there Uraraka!"

"Kirishima." Hawks saluted. "Bakugo." Hearing the boy grunt Hawks smirked. "Alright now that we know each other…" Feeling the tension in the air Hawks looked from one person to the other grabbing the food she was holding. "So as much as I love the awkwardness as much as the next guy, I'm going to be off visiting Mr. U right now."

"You know what? I'll go with you." Kirishima said putting the wood down.

"Alright." Hawks said before glaring at her again. "I'm watching you missy."

After they left the only sound that was heard was of other people working as Bakugo continued to stare at her. At this point she had to contain all the buildup emotions she had fluttering in her chest at the sight of him but still unsure how to approach the situation since it still hurt.

"W-what are you doing here?"

Letting out a big puff of air he walked off like she wasn't even there.

Confused, she hesitated for a moment before following. "Wait!" Still not getting an answer, after a few minutes she started getting annoyed as he continued working. "Bakugo!

Swiftly turning he fixed her with a questioning look. "What?"

Surprised to see him act as if nothing happened, she pressed her lips together. "I asked you what you're doing here?"

"Trying to work." He said returning to his task.

"I get that, but why here?" she asked, watching as he continued to walk off. "You know what? Fine." She puffed her cheeks as she turned on her heels and marched up the stairs.

Once inside she sat down on one of the chairs in her dad's office while the three men continued talking and eating.

"So how long have you guys been here?" she absently asked Kirishima.

Rubbing his neck Kirishima looked over at her dad. "Well, um…"

"Sweetheart they've been helping your mother and I since the summer along with Ichiro. I'm surprised you didn't know." Mr. Uraraka said, taking a drink of his coffee.

"It's really no big deal." Kirishima smiled at him. "We're happy to."

"Oh." she said as she peeked out the window to see the blond still working with the others.

"I still apologize to you boys about using your free time to come all the way out here and not being able to offer anything in return." Mr. Uraraka said.

"It's no problem." Kirishima nodded. "That's what friends do."

"Well thank your friend Kaminari as well, but I do hope he feels better after that horrible shock he had."

"Honestly that's nothing new." Kirishima chuckled at that, making her smile.

"Dad…I've been thinking about what you and mom said, and I've made my decision."

X

By the time workers started heading home Bakugo was already exhausted and sweating as he and Kirishima started packing everything away.

"So same time tomorrow?" One of the workers asked.

"No, we have classes the day after so we gotta get ready for that." Kirishima said.

"We'll be here for a couple hours at least." Bakugo said.

"Ok see you boys then."

"See ya! Alright man I'm out." Kirishima said slapping Bakugos back. "Let me know once you get home yeah?'

"Tch, what are you my fuckin dad now?!" Bakugo smirked as he finished.

"That's cute." Surprised at the sudden voice behind him, his smile slowly faded as Uraraka stood there looking around at everything. "How he cares about you."

Keeping his back towards her he showed his water bottle and some of his other things inside his bag. "Shouldn't you be off with bird man or something?"

Shaking her head, she looked up to her dad's office. "They're still up there talking."

"Right. Well see ya." Flinging the bag over his shoulder he hurriedly walked past her.

"Can you just wait a second!" She said the frustration evident in her voice as he halted in his steps but didn't turn. "I wanted to thank you for helping out."

"Ok so are we done here?" he asked expectantly.

Hearing his cold tone, she pushed through it. "I also wanted to…"

Swiftly turning, he tiredly lifted his hands. "What? I have things to do."

"Sorry my mistake I didn't mean to keep you." She said feeling the anger boiling to the surface, deciding to quickly walk off down the hall.

"Then fuckin hurry up and talk!" Frustratingly he took off his bag, throwing it to the side as he followed her. "Damnit round-face why is it always so damn difficult for you to talk to me?!"

"What?"

"You heard me! Every time there's something bothering you or something happens the first fuckin thing you want to do is run away. Why is that huh?!"

"You're the one leaving Bakugo!" she shouted, realizing her voice had echoed around the building.

"Alright." Grabbing her wrist, he dragged them to a room further away before releasing her and leaning against the wall shoving his hands in his pockets. "You wanted to talk so let's talk. Now first I didn't do it for you."

Caught off guard, she blinked at him. "Huh?"

"Before you start over thinking things like always, I didn't help your parents out because of you." He clarified making her look down. "They are good hard-working people. Given what you told all of us before, and how they've worked their butts off all their lives, they deserve all the help they can get. When Shitty hair and I met them during the summer, Mr. Takahashi told us about it so we offered to help them out whenever we could. That's it."

"Ok" Nodding her head she looked up to find him still staring at her. "I owe you and everyone else an apology."

"The fuck for?" He frowned in confusion.

"W-well for making you all worry about me…it was all my fault to begin with." Hearing him suddenly chuckle she snapped her head in his direction with an irritated frown.

"You think that's what this is all about?! Fuck Uraraka!" Running his hand throw his spiky blond hair he let out an exasperated sigh. "Was everyone worried about you? YES! How the fuck do you think we all were?! You were fuckin stabbed ok!" Taking a moment to calm himself he looked over her shoulder. "How the fuck do you think I felt knowing that I was right there and couldn't do anything but watch because I was too damn slow? How the hell do you think I felt when the girl I like more than anything is laying in a damn hospital bed and there's nothing I can do but wait?!"

Meeting her eyes, she saw him swallow as she saw something like hurt and sadness flicker through his red eyes. "When I heard you woke up, I was ecstatic but then come to find out you already left and not just that, but you completely ignored me, ignoring all of us. But it was fine because at least I knew you were alright. And next thing I know… you're happy and laughing with that damn giant bird man!"

"Bakugo-"

"But how the hell do you think that what happened back there with the villains was any of your fault?"

"Because it was!" she shouted as she widened her eyes. "Don't you see?! Toga was after me! That's why you all got hurt, because of me!"

"That's not-" shaking his head he moved away from the wall.

"Yes Bakugo! You can think of it any way you want but in the end she's after me! I can't…" Taking a shaky breath she hesitantly met his gaze. "My parents were talking about moving me out of UA."

"What?"

"And I was starting to think that maybe that might be a good idea."

"No! You can't just-" grabbing her shoulder he tried to catch her brown eyes. "This wasn't your fault! And even if you did change schools that wouldn't matter. It wouldn't change a damn thing. You would still be one of the best heroes out there! You would still have all of the people here who care about you, and you would still have me."

Staring at him she felt her lip tremble as her eyes flooded with tears. "Do I?" Shrugging her shoulder to remove his hands she showed a weak smile. "I mean you said yourself just now that nothing would change…but how could that be possible when you're the one leaving?"

Dropping his hands, he quickly looked down.

"I've already decided that I'm staying at UA." Wiping a tear from her cheek she saw him stay silent. "When were you going to tell me Bakugo? Were you even going to tell me?" she scoffed.

"Of course, I was."

"Right." she said chuckling to herself. "And to hear it from Toga of all people!"

"Look I don't fuckin know how that psycho found out, but don't fuckin think for a second I wasn't going to tell you! he said snapping his eyes up.

"You had every chance to!"

"And I was going to but then this shit happened!" he said waving his hands. "Just so you don't think I've been fuckin lying to you here it is Alright! Mr. Aizawa came to me that one day in the beginning of the school year when I was chasing your ass up the stairs. The same fuckin time he told me about Toga. Apparently, some agencies overseas asked Endeavor and some others to help track down some criminal activities going on there. They said it may have been linked to what's going on here, so Endeavor accepted. He asked for me, Deku and Todoroki to accompany him there to help out along with others."

"And you accepted."

"Of course, I did." He said letting out a deep breath. "Why the hell not right?! That's our job. Plus, if it'll help bring her down then yes! I agreed and at that time I didn't think it was anyone's business. How the fuck was I supposed to know all of this shit was going to happen?!"

Shaking her head disbelieving, she looked away.

"Why the hell else did you think I didn't want to face the fuckin facts that I had feelings for you?! Why I was so reluctant! Then the more time past the more I found myself fucking frustrated because I knew that sooner or later, I had to leave! And I didn't want to do that to you!" he said, staring at her tear-filled eyes. "Can you believe my fuckin luck that the only girl I've ever wanted to be with… I couldn't?! and even worse when I found out that you felt the same way."

Staring down as she felt the tears drop, his eyes softened. "Uraraka…" lifting her chin he made her look at him. "When you told me that you felt the same way I did…I felt so…happy." He said wiping her cheek with his thumb. "And not in a 'I'm about to kick your ass' kind of way." He smirked, making her smile. "But at the same time…it fuckin kills me to know I can't give you what you want and what you deserve."

"You don't always have to be perfect at everything." she softly said.

"Yes, I do especially when it comes to you. Look Uraraka it's no secret that I'm new to this. But if I could…then you know for a damn fact who I'd want to be with." he said gently placing his forehead against hers. "I just don't wouldn't want to fuck this up…I can't."

"No, I get it…" she said closing her eyes as he pulled away staring at her with warm eyes.

"That's why when we agreed to take things slow…I agreed so that we could just wait and see where this goes so there was no rush since we still had some time to talk about it. But with how things are now…" he said tilting his head back and placing his hands on his head.

"What do you mean?"

"Endeavor had us originally leaving by the end of the school year for a few months but now they moved it up."

Taking a shaky breath in she clutched her chest not wanting to ask the question but knew she had to. "When?"

Staying silent for a moment, he closed his eyes. "January."

Widening her eyes, she rapidly blinked trying to process the new information. "Wait that's…"

"I know." nodding they continued to stare at each other for a while until she spoke.

"How long?"

"A few months, hoping to be back by the next school year but it all depends." Keeping his crimson eyes on her he saw her looking at the ground. "The thing is round-face that this mission involves going deep underground meaning-"

"No communication…" She finished looking back at him with shaky eyes. "Bakugo…"

Taking a few steps towards her, wanting nothing more than to wrap her in his arms, he jumped at the sudden shout.

"Ochaco?!"

Hearing the echo of her dad's voice calling for her she quickly wiped her face "I better be going." She said with a small smile as he stopped her.

"Wait…is fuckin KFC taking you to school tomorrow?"

Nodding she tilted her head. "Yeah."

"Alright, I'll let him know I'm taking you instead."

"Bakugo, you don't have to."

"It's fine." He said frowning as she felt a light tug on her jacket and slowly being lifted in the air "The fuck?"

"Hey-" before she knew it, she was flying through the halls at an alarming speed while Bakugo went after stopping right in front of the office.

"Hey, about time." Hawks playfully waived at them from above.

"Ochaco where have you been?"

Landing next to a puzzled Bakugo who pulls out a red feather from the hood of her jacket, she starts glaring at a smirking Hawks.

"Seriously?"

"And I'm not even sorry." He chuckled.
