blah, blah, blah *disclaimer* blah, blah, blah...
Hello, everyone! only a month and less than a week from the Eclipse movie! ! ! ! i am uber excited for it as it comes out on my birthday ! i'll be wishing that i could be Bella Swan the entire time, and, who knows, maybe something good will happen :)
anyway, here's a action-packed, intense, loud and slightly confusing new chapter...I wouldn't let Sarah have the exact same power as Bella does in the book, so this chapter holds a bit of a sneak peek of her power...ahhh!
so, read and review for me (because i love them so much!) tootles!
"Holy Shit!" I couldn't help but let slip when we walked into the huge domed room that housed the Volturi. Seriously, the place was big, bright, and did not seem like the usual hangout for vampires. Then again, look at the Cullen's house. It's hardly the place for vampires either.
Edward didn't share my enthusiasm for the room. He was holding onto my waist rather tightly, a little too tight if you ask me. He's making me even more nervous. Looking at the room was supposed to take away from my nervousness, but Edward's just gotta remind me where we are.
Then again, he's still shirtless, so I guess I can forgive him.
God, I'm so freaking cold walking through these different rooms! I mean, one second it's cold, the next it's normal temperature. Plus, I'm wet! I'm going to get pneumonia or something down here. At least Edward was lucky enough that he could walk around shirtless and not be freezing cold. But, since I'm smarter than Bella from the book is, I'm going to hold in all shivers and keep my teeth from chattering so that Edward won't let go of me like he did her at this point in the book.
We walked past the desk with the human girl whose name I cannot remember. The only thing I can remember, though, is that she's not going to get what she wants. "Good afternoon, Jane." I saw her glance appreciatively at Edward's bare chest, so I clutched him tighter. He is so mine, witch!
"Gianna." That's her name! After she got the fact that I was with Edward, she moved her eyes onto Felix and Demetri. Felix might not be gay after all, since he was flirting with Gianna as we walked by.
"Jane." I glanced around to find that Cameron Bright—whoops, I mean Alec—was waiting for us by the door. "They send you out for one and you come back with two…and a half. Nice work." Butthead. I glared at him to make my outrage known, but he just shrugged and turned his attention to Edward. Someone who matters because he's a vampire! Oh, the day I become a vampire is the day I go beat up Laurent (who I'm still mad at because he ignored me when we first met in the baseball field, and because of the whole 'trying to eat me' thing too), Felix (for just being creepy and stupid), and Alec. Seriously, do all vampires have some sort of human complex? "Welcome back, Edward. You seem in a better mood."
"Marginally." You tell him Edward! Hey, wait! Why are you only marginally in a better mood? You thought I was dead and I'm not! You should be freaking ecstatic right now! Well, okay, maybe not that happy since we are in the Volturi's lair, but still better than marginally!
Alec chuckled and turned back towards me. I scowled at him in response. The jerk only counted me as a half of a person! "And this is the cause of all the trouble?"
"This has a name!" I hissed under my breath, but I know he heard me. He's so infuriating! All the vampires, except for Alice and Edward of course, burst out laughing. Oh, I am so going to stake them!
"Dibs." I heard Felix say from behind us.
Edward and I both let out a growl at him. "Shut up, Felix, unless you want what you're calling dibs for to call dibs on turning you into a pile of smoking ash!" No one laughed this time. Did I actually say that out loud? Oh my damn, I just threatened a vampire. Despite the fact that I should be terrified, I feel sort of…liberated. I don't know, I guess with all the vampires around me (except for the Cullens and Ava, of course) treating me like I was insignificant finally got to me.
"Patience," Alice touched both Edward and my arms to calm us down. I could tell she was trying very hard not to laugh, and she wasn't succeeding. "Violence is bad, Bella. Bad." It was only a matter of seconds before both of us burst out laughing.
"Aro will be so pleased to see you again." I'm pretty sure Alec was laughing too after his back was to us. Felix no longer was grinning at me, but was instead looked a little scared of me. Oh yeah, Felix, fear me.
"Let's not keep him waiting." Jane is such a creeper. She didn't even crack a smile because of Felix's sudden insecurity in his ability to inspire fear in people. That was definitely a moment to alleviate some of the tension between Alice, Edward, and I, but apparently Jane did not find it humorous in the least. She obviously has no emotions.
We all started walking towards another hallway which would finally get us to the Volturi. I guess I should start freaking out to the max now. No more thoughts about making out with Edward or beating Felix to a pile of ash can come up now, I have to be serious. Oh man, I wish I could go make out with Edward right now. I missed him so much, and now I have him back and the meeting with the Volturi won't allow me to kiss him!
I'll get Aro back for this atrocity one day. I'll have all eternity for it!
Jane and Alec led us to a room that looked identical to the Volturi's lair in the movie. I was a little freaky because when I watched the movie I only watched a bit of the Volturi scene because of the way Edward got thrown around by Felix. Even Alice had to look away during that particular scene. Despite that, we had a nice laugh over the vision that Alice shared with Aro in the movie. There was no way I would ever frolic through the woods let alone wear a dress like the one Kristen Stewart was wearing in the scene.
Soon enough, I caught my first ever glimpse of Aro. Creepily enough, he was an exact doppelganger of Michael Sheen in the movie, down to the suit and shoes. "Jane, dear one, you've returned!"
"Yes, Master." I wonder why Aro looks so similar to the movie while Jane looks completely different. "I brought him back alive, just like you wished." She's such a puppy dog! I'm surprised he doesn't just throw a treat to her.
"Ah, Jane. You are such a comfort to me." Ah, Aro, you are such a pain to me! Seriously, he sounds and acts and looks just like Michael Sheen. No one, not even Edward, has looked this close to his character in the movie before. This is really starting to bother me. "Bella is alive after all! And Alice is here as well! This is a happy surprise! I love a happy ending…they are so rare." He walked towards Edward and me and grabbed Edward's hand right out of my grip.
Aro! What the hell? Not only did he not say what was in the book, he used some of Aro's exact quotes from the movie. And he took Edward's hand away from me! I really wish I had Jane's power right now just so I could burn him right now. "La Tua Cantante…her blood appeals to so much it makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?" Where are the book quotes? Why is he talking like this? I hated when he said this in the movie! He's such a creeper!
"It's not without difficulty." Not too much difficulty if we were making out just a few minutes ago and you haven't hunted in a few days!
"Oh, I can see that." He chuckled at his own joke. Seriously?
That's when I lost it. Maybe it was the fact that he ripped Edward's hand away from me, but I seriously just lost it. "Who the hell are you supposed to be? Michael Sheen?" Oh, my God! Oh, my God! I said it! Crap it! Why did I say that out loud?
Alice flipped around to freak out along with me. "Bella!"
Aro took it without any confusion, which just served to give me confusion. "I did notice some talk of Twilight in Edward's thoughts, but I did not expect that you would bring it up so quickly. I suppose it is the way of all the Twilight fans to be a little impetuous when they speak about it."
Alice stopped freaking out about me, but instead joined me in staring at Aro. This cannot be good… "How do you—" I tried to choke out a possible question, but he cut me off. That Michael Sheen persona was slipping away a bit.
"Know? My dear, do you honestly think that a book about vampires goes unnoticed by us? Especially when one speaks of the Volturi in it. Miss Stiles, you should know better than that. Or do you prefer Miss Swan?" I found myself utterly speechless. Edward looked plain old confused. I guess Aro didn't think about New Moon when Edward was around, or if he did, Edward wasn't paying attention. Aro noticed my shock, and turned towards the big lug behind us that was still scared of me after my previous outburst. "Felix, be a dear and tell my brothers about our company." He looked me straight in the eye, which made me cringe involuntarily. "I'm sure they wouldn't want to miss this."
"Yes Master." Felix rushed out of the room faster than a blink of my eye. He was definitely scared of me now.
But, of course, I couldn't think about that since I was freaking out! "Do they know?" I managed to say.
Aro smiled at me, but even that he made look creepy. "Of course not, Miss Swan. I do so enjoy keeping some secrets to myself, but they shall know soon enough."
"It's Bella," I mumbled half-heartedly. I am so screwed! There went any chances of getting out of here alive. Aro's going to make sure that the book does not happen just so he can protect whatever measure of power he can hold onto. He's probably already thinking ahead to Breaking Dawn and doesn't want a fight to break out. Or he does want a fight to break out and is trying to make me mad at him already!
Either way, I'm not going to let him bully me like every other vampire does!
"Bella, then. Edward? Has your Bella here told you about all of the books yet? From your thoughts I read earlier, she has not. Nor your sisters, Alice and Ava, I suppose. I should so liked to have met your dear sister Ava. She sounds like quite a…talented person."
Ugh, Ava, why did you have to go and have a cool power? "Leave her out of this. You want to talk about the books right? Well, what do you want to know?"
Aro took a moment to consider what I had given him, which was pretty much the answers to whatever questions he could think of when it came to the whole series. Including Renesmee, but I really hope he wouldn't bring that up. "What I really do not find realistic is that a young girl like you could ever fall for such a dog like Jacob Black! The children of the moon are hardly good company to keep."
"That's my line…" I heard Alice mumble behind me. Well, it was true.
"My apologies, Alice. But I find that I must ask you a question as well. How could you have allowed Edward to come here knowing full well that Bella was not dead as Edward believed? Or how could you have allowed Bella to kindle such a romance between herself and a werewolf?"
Edward was not happy. He must have been getting all sorts of thoughts from Alice about what happened in Forks while he was gone. Plus, the idiotic Aro went and talked about JACOB in front of EDWARD! That was not good. Not good at all.
"I-I didn't—I mean, I was just trying to—." Alice stuttered. How does Aro inspire this kind of fear? We need to find an antidote stat!
"Shut up, already! There's really no reason for you to be such an ass to Alice like that. She really has been trying to make everything work out, just nothing always quite works out according to plan. Like take right now! I really wish I wasn't here to get interrogated by someone who killed his own sister!" Oh, yeah, I went there.
Aro, well no one actually, spoke for a long while. Aro just glared at me. I bet he didn't know that I know that! Well, suck it Aro! Actually, don't, that would be bad. "Bella, we need to leave now." Edward started to pull me away from Aro since the latter looked like he was about to spring on me.
But then he straightened up really fast and smiled at someone behind us. "Marcus, Caius, look! Bella is alive after all, and Alice is here with her! Isn't that wonderful?" His eyes told me another story. He was practically screaming mentally at me that he would come after me if I told. I just grinned back at him.
It's on, Aro, it's on.
Jesus, Marcus looks like he needs a hug. Or to kill someone, like the jerk in front of me that killed his true love! Caius, of course, looked constipated. "Let us have the story." Aro definitely was going to kill me if I ever told Marcus anything. You know, I don't think I'll tell him at least until the opportune moment. Marcus moved towards Aro and held out his hand. "Thank you, Marcus. That's quite interesting."
"What? He tell you that I really don't like you?" Maybe I was born without a brain filter. That would explain a lot…
"Ha! Isn't Bella quite the comical individual?"
"Oh, Aro, go f—"
"Bella!" Alice was trying to keep the situation and me from turning into a total war. I couldn't help myself, I was about to blow a rocket right at Aro's head. He just makes me so angry! I never did like him, obviously, when I read the books, but once Stephanie Meyer let it out that he killed Marcus's mate who was, oh yeah, also his sister I really hated him. And now the Aro in front of me is trying to hurt the people I care about, and that is just not going to happen.
"Calm down, Bella, everything is okay." Yeah, easy for you to say Edward! You don't know all the vile things that Aro did! Well, I suppose he might have seen the thought in Aro's mind when I reminded him of it so abruptly. I sank further into Edward's side when I looked up in his eyes. I could tell he was trying to be brave for me, but he wasn't going to trick me. He was just as scared and angry as I was. "Marcus sees relationships. He's surprised by the intensity between all of us."
"So convenient. It takes quite a bit to surprise Marcus, I can assure you."
"Gee, I wonder why." I mumbled into Edward's chest. If I look up at Aro again, I will probably start screaming! I was, however, able to glance at Marcus again. He just looked so...so much like I did when Edward left and I was so upset that I'd failed in keeping him with me.
"It's just so difficult to understand, even now. Is she even worth all of your troubles?" Edward and I both hissed at his statement.
Whoa, wobbly knees! Edward's eyes bore down into mine. "She is worth everything that I've been through. I don't know if she still feels the same about me." His voice was tinged with so much sadness and hurt, I thought I was going to have to make out with him in front of the Volturi again! I started to tell him otherwise, but that freaking Aro interrupted me!
"But still—she's so appealing! What a waste!"
Edward chuckled, but his eyes were still upset. "I look at it more as a price."Just leave us alone, Aro! Why are we even here?
"A very high price."
"Opportunity cost."
"Cost's too much. I would have never toyed around with a smell that appealing, and yet you allow her to live on and—"
"Waste it," Edward wanted to get out of here just like I did. I just wanted to get away from Aro. An Italian vacation, though, sounded really nice right now.
"Ah, how I miss my friend Carlisle! You remind me of him—only he was not so angry."
"Carlisle outshines me in many other ways as well." I could name a few, but I doubt Edward really needed to hear them. Cough, Carlisle never left Esme, cough!
"I certainly never thought to see Carlisle bested for self-control of all things, but you put him to shame."
"You should have been there, then, when I tripped and scabbed up my leg." Alice turned to glare at me. Way to bring that up, Bella! She screamed at me through her thoughts. I just shrugged. I didn't want to be left out of the conversation.
"A truly disastrous night according to Edward's thoughts…but I am so curious about seeing it through her perspective. May I?" He waltzed over to us. Oh no, I am not letting go of Edward again for you, dude!
"Ask her," Edward suggested. His thoughts were pretty much along the lines of Come on, come on, I need to get her out of here. Alice too, she'll understand what he was thinking about with a dog and something about Team Switzerland. Don't ask me how, I just knew that's what Edward was thinking.
"Of course, how rude of me! Bella, I'm fascinated that you are the one exception to Edward's impressive talent—so very interesting that such a thing could occur! And I was wondering, since our talents are similar in many ways, if you would be so kind as to allow me to try—to see if you are an exception for me, as well?"
I smiled as sweetly as I possibly could. "Aro, you obviously read the books and watched the movies. Now, I'm not sure how far you got in the series, but I'll let you in on a little secret: I'm a shield! Eleazar says so. So, while I would love to burst your bubble, I respectfully decline your idea to see if I'm a—hey!" The bastard grabbed my hand out of Edward's grasp, which caused Edward to pretty much flip out.
Not quite as much as I did, though. As soon as Aro touched my hand, I got the biggest dizzy spell I've ever had because I heard something, well, a lot of somethings, in my head. It was like if Aro were yelling at me, but if there were hundreds of him. Were those his thoughts? How the heck could I read them? I'm not Edward!
I tried to pull away from Aro to make all the sound stop, but he wouldn't let me go!
Edward growled very loudly, as did Alice. I'd never seen her look so fearsome before in my entire time of knowing her! Aro just held onto my hand, but paused for a moment and looked over to the guards. "Felix, Demetri, please." Before I could think about blinking, Demetri held Alice by the throat, and Edward was pinned to the ground by Felix. I tried with all of my might to pull my hand away from Aro, but he just would not let me go!
"Edward! Alice! Jesus, Aro, let me go! You aren't going to get anything out of me!"Aro unexpectedly dropped my hand, and as a result of me pulling so hard, I ended up slipping to the ground. "Hey!" Butthead. Thankfully, his voice cut off immediately.
"So very interesting." He did not look happy. I mean, he was pissed before, but now he was livid. But, truth be told, I couldn't have cared less. I wanted to run over to Edward, but he shook his head when I tried to get up. Oh, God, what now? "A first," sucks for you, dude, "I wonder if she immune to our other talents…Jane, dear?"
"No!" Edward struggled in Felix's grip, and I slid back further towards him.
"Yes, Master?" Edward was having a freaking panic attack over where he was. For once, I wish he could read my mind so I could tell him not to worry.
"I was wondering, my dear one, if Bella is immune to you." He totally wants to see me in pain, the ass. I am totally going to spill about what he did to his sister to Marcus if he does anything stupid. I wish I could have heard something incriminating when all those thoughts were flooding through my head.
Jane turned towards me right at the same moment Edward broke free of Felix. "Edward, don't!" Alice and I screamed at the same time. Jane didn't even bother with me, she kept her freaking laser eyes right on Edward. I didn't waste any time getting up and throwing myself on top of Edward to block out Jane's death rays. "Edward? Edward, are you okay?" I'm going to have a panic attack now! Or I'm going to kill one of these vampires! I didn't even bother for Edward to answer me before I stomped over to Jane and summoned my inner Alice poking mode. Jane didn't look too pleased I could walk right up to her without falling to the ground in front of her. "Aww, sad I stopped your evil rays of death from penetrating into my boyfriend? Try it again in the future and we'll see who's the one writhing on the ground in pain." Stare down! Hiss down! Growl down! Bitch, I will fight you to the death!
At least Aro was getting his kicks. "Ha, ha, ha! Remarkable! Don't be put out, dear one, she confounds us all. So, what do we do with you now?"
"You already know what you're going to do, Aro." Marcus called, as if by cue from his seat. Aro's smile turned evil. He nodded at Felix, who ripped Edward from my side.
"She knows too much; she's a liability," Caius remarked, sounding more constipated than ever. His comment, too, sounded staged.
Aro's eyes were glowing red. "Hmm, that's true. Felix, remember the movie I showed you? Now."
AHHHHHHHHHH! I'm not sure if I screamed out loud or not, but wherever it came from, I don't think I have a voice left. Felix began by dropping Edward and charging me just like he did in the movie. Edward, being the almighty protector, launched himself at Felix, which just made him end up thrown into a bench. "Edward! Aro, I swear to God!"
Felix didn't stop. Neither did Edward. They both flitted around, while Alice and I were literally hyperventilating at the déjà vu of the scene unfolding in front of us. I couldn't stand it when Felix slammed Edward on the ground. I ran to him, if nothing just to make sure he didn't have a crack in his face. I didn't even have time to reach him before Felix began the move to slam him down on the stairs.
Aro just watched me like he was waiting for me. I couldn't watch Edward get hurt like that, and for me. I just couldn't. "NO! ARO, PLEASE, I'LL DO ANYTHING! STOP!" I am cold, wet, and crying. All I want to do is go home, but Aro seems to want something from me if he just decided to inflict this kind of pain on both me and Edward.
Okay, that was kind of cool. Felix stopped moving when Edward was centimeters from those steps. He landed without breaking any stairs, but Felix grabbed him by the neck directly in front of me. "Good work, Felix." I couldn't even look at him. Aro would pay for this even if it takes me eternity to get him back. "Did you enjoy the show, Miss Stiles? I'm sure you understand what I want from you now, correct?" I didn't take my eyes off of Edward. "Promise me, Miss Stiles, that you will join us."
That caught my attention "What?"
"Did you really believe that I would let you go as my character did? Surely not!"
"Are you kidding me? Why would I ever—" I had to hold back a scream as Felix wrenched Edward's head almost completely around. "Stop! Stop, please don't hurt him." No! No! NO! LET HIM GO YOU STUPID HEAD!
"Join us, Miss Stiles." Oh yeah, I'm about to join myself to Felix's back and whack him until he lets go of my Edward!
"Just leave him alon—" I choke on a sob. This is so much worse than watching it on the big screen!
Aro circles me like a shark. "Promise me…"It's barely a whisper, but one that stays in the air as he continues to circle me.
And now, I panic. "I can't! What about my family? What about Edwa—" Damn it, Aro go away!
"Only one hundred years, for starters, but I'm sure you'll learn to love it with us and wish to stay longer."
If Edward was in any pain from the beating he was receiving, he wouldn't show it. I couldn't break away from his intense stare. "Bella, don't listen to him! I'm not in any dang—" Felix slammed him down on the stairs. I'm almost positive I let out a scream. It might have been Alice, though. She was sobbing as much as I was, but as least she didn't get re-soaked from her own tears!
I am now in a tiny ball on the ground. I can go no lower. If something ever happened to Edward because of me, I would never ever forgive myself. "Fine. I'll do it."
"No! Let her go, I'll stay! I will serve the Volturi forever if it means she doesn't have to!" Felix still wouldn't let go of Edward, who has definitely lost it. I pulled myself up off the ground and threw myself at Felix's back.
Like, hard core, smacking him repeatedly over the head even though it hurt because he's got a vampire hard head, hard core. "LET HIM GO, NOW! I hate you so freaking much, Felix! You big jerk! How dare you beat up my boyfriend like that?"
"Enough of this! Aro, what is this insanity that you've unleashed through this insignificant human?" Caius, watch out, you're next. Felix finally got his hands on me, and swung me back around so I was on the ground again.
"Caius, surely you see the potential in her. I haven't seen a prospective talent so promising since we found Jane and Alec. She felt something when I reached for her hand. I do not know what it was, but it can only become more evident when she turns. Can you imagine the possibilities when she is one of us? And, of course, Edward and Alice would also be welcome to a home here if they so choose to join with lovely Bella."
"Wait a minute, you want me to join the Volturi now?" Nu-uh, there's just no way! I still have school to finish!
"Of course not, Bella, when Edward finally votes on turning you into one of us, then you will be wanted. Take as long as you need. We will eventually need you here, but before that, enjoy your life with Edward and the rest of your family. So, for now, be free and give my regards to my friend Carlisle." Aro slouched back down in the grand throne he had in between Marcus and Caius. Don't look so darn pleased with yourself, buddy. I plan on avoiding you as long as possible. Edward had me now firmly locked in his arms. I felt that usual thrill whenever Edward wraps me in his arms, but I was too angry at Aro to even think about kissing Edward. As a matter of fact, I could sense Edward was just as angry as I was about Aro. His thoughts were in such a jumble of anger, no words were forming.
"Aro, there needs to be some sort of reassurance." Caius, go shove something up your butt and shut up already. No one cares what you say anyway!
Aro nodded appreciatively. "True, Caius. I would be so delighted to encounter Alice's special gifts myself." Jesus, Alice! Truth be told, I'd almost forgotten her. She was being super quiet once Demetri let her go, and drifted back behind Edward and me. "Alice?" Aro called her again.
She gritted her teeth together and gave a tiny wince as she walked towards him. I can't blame her, he really has revolting fashion taste. Ugh, are there no decent shopping venues in this part of Italy, Aro? Whoops! Don't think about him, he can read your thoughts. And so can Edward. And now Bella, apparently. Edward and I both froze.
What? How can I…Where did I…But I'm a…huh? She can't…there's no possible…Alice's visions are subjective…Bella? I thought I was just imagining Edward and Alice's thoughts this whole time. I glanced around the room to all the other vampires in the room. Maybe I can hear them too. Jane didn't have any thoughts, and most of the other vampires were hungry. Wow, you really picked some winners Aro.
"Ha, ha, ha! That was fascinating!" Aro's laugh brought me out of my creepy mind reading zone I'd gone into. There's no way I'm a mind-reader. It's just not possible.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it." I certainly didn't. Damn it, I can read minds.
"To see the things you've seen—especially the ones that haven't happened yet!" I saw a flash in Aro's mind that looked vaguely like a wedding picture. Oh God, please don't let Edward see that! Maybe he's still too shocked from hearing Alice say I can read minds to care.
"But that will."
"Yes, yes, it's quite determined. Certainly there's no problem." Caius growled in frustration. "Dear Caius, do not fret. Think of the possibilities! They do not join us today, but we have a promise for the future. Imagine the joy young Alice alone would bring to our little household…Besides, I'm terribly curious to see how Bella turns out!" Aro glared at me again, and I realized he must have picked up on the thought that Alice had about me being able to read minds. Oh, this is going to end up really bad! Come on Edward, we need to skidaddle!
"Then we are free to go now?" Good Edward!
"Yes, yes. But please visit again. It's been absolutely…enthralling." You simply must learn to control your new-found gift, Miss Stiles. And, think, the next time we meet, I shall have read all of the books and know all of your secrets.
Caius might have said something, but I toned him out to listen to Aro's thoughts that were directed straight at me. "I simply cannot wait to see you again, Aro." I am such a good mimicker! "Although, next time I should love to see your beautiful wife, along with Caius' and Marcus'. Isn't Marcus' mate your sister? What an interesting coincidence!"
"I have no mate." Marcus said miserably. I just feel so bad for him! It's not his fault that his supposed friend is such a jerk.
Edward and Alice started tugging me out of the room, so I turned away from Aro's glare and the rest of the Volturi and walked to the door with Edward still clutching me for dear life. "Goodbye, young friends!" Aro called. His tone was so arrogant and annoying, I just couldn't stop myself.
"Let's go," Edward urged me on, but I had to stop.
I gave Edward the motion for to wait a second. I couldn't hear anyone's thoughts as soon as I was out of Edward's arms. Strange...oh, well.
I turned back and said for all to hear, "Oh, by the way, Marcus? Aro killed your wife. Tootles!"
oh no she didn't! told you it was action-packed. soooooo GO REVIEW! please :)
Preview for the next chapter:
Edward held me back when I lunged for him. "Let her go! No, she's just a kid! I mean it, Demetri. Let. Her. Go."
"She's a human. She came here of her own accord, and she will suffer the consequences." She was shaking in his cold, tight grip, and I could see the tears rolling down her face. Edward, please help me! We both heard her thoughts scream to him.
"Wait, Demetri let this one go. She shouldn't be harmed."
