Chapter Seventeen

After Don got on the freeway, he suddenly felt like he was being followed but wasn't sure if he was being paranoid or if he really was being followed.

After looking around, and not seeing anyone, he decided to take an alternative route, as the feeling wouldn't go away and he decided he needed to take some precautions.

He would soon find out how right he was.

As Don was several blocks away from the craftsman, he noticed a strange car behind him and he immediately knew something was up when he took a different turn and the car continued to follow him, and was getting pretty close to him, too.

Don immediately phoned Terry and told her what was going on, who promised that she'll have someone come over as soon as she could.

"Be careful Don." She warned

"I'll do my best, thanks Terry." Don said as he hung up and saw the car was getting closer to him, much too close for comfort.

Before he could react, the car behind started to push his car, nearly causing Don to crash, though he quickly regained control of his car and sped up his car to avoid getting hit again, though it was not to be.

M.J. smiled as he caught up with Don's car and managed to crash into it again, causing Don to start swerving out of control and narrowly missing a pole before regaining some control of his vehicle before crashing into a bush.

Don quickly got out of his car and took out his gun as he saw the car speeding towards him and he quickly looked around for any civilians who might be in the vicinity.

Relieved that there was no one that could be harmed, Don quickly turned his attention to the man getting out of the car and found himself shocked when he saw the man's face.

'It can't be him, I thought he died several years ago.' Don thought as he recognized the face

This made M.J. smile when he saw the look on the agent's face.

"Good you remember me." M.J. said as the two continued to face each other.
