Sorry about the review thing. I wanted to get the idea on the computer but my computer is so slow, so i couldn't write the chapters yet. Anyway i wanted to see if you'd review.
Rayne's POV
So, the first day of a new life-where to begin. Unpacking is one idea. I tossed my last shirt into the drawer and shoved the empty box into the hall. Lying down on my bed, I began to go over what had happened.
"I'm not going to pretend anymore!" my mom had shouted.
"Same here! You and those girls have been ignoring me since they were born!" Dad yelled back.
"What are you talking about? They need us to take care of them, help them! We have two teenage girls! They need someone to talk to about their friends and when they have boy problems! You need to be they for them!" my mom began to cry, "and you haven't been. All you do is work!"
"Well, then why didn't you say this fifteen years ago. If I had known there was going to be so much energy and work I had to put in to having children, I wouldn't have asked you to marry me," he said clearly and truthfully.
"Well," she said between sobs, "if I had known that this is how you would feel I wouldn't have accepted. I'm taking my kids and we're leaving. You'll sign the divorce papers when they show up in the mail. I want full custody, I don't want you to see them ever again until they become adults, then you can see what you missed out on."
"Excuse me!" he raged.
"Sunny! Rayne! Pack everything you have! We're leaving!"
Sunny and I stepped out from the wall. We had heard the whole fight. "No problem, Mom. I'm sorry you wasted so much of your life with us. I didn't know we were that much of a bother to you. But we're out of your hair now," Sunny let the tears fall freely. I turned to him, looked him right in the eye and whispered, "Have a nice life."
Haven`t heard from him since. Oh well, this is a new begining. A new house, a new school and new friends. Just then Sunny popped her head through the door.
"You done?" she asked.
"Yup!" I smiled, "you?"
"Uh-huh! " she grinned evilly, "You know what that means, right?"
"Hunk hunting?"
"You bet!"
For three hours Sunny and I sat on a bench watching boys walk by. Every once in a while she would give a flirty smile and girlish wave, making the boys smile at her. I, on the other hand, just sat there smiling at her. Sunny's long, wavey blonde hair hung loosely around her waist. The sun danced on her baby blue eyes, making them sparkle. She was supermodel material. I looked nothing like her. Well, except for the blonde hair and blue eyes. My hair was blonde but only to the middle of my neck and it was straight. My eyes were a pale blue.
"You know, hottie of the day is watching you," That's what Sunny calls the hottest guy she's seen that day. "Make that hottie of the year. Damn, he is fine!"
Watching me? Really? I looked up to see who it was and my breath caught in my throat. In front of me stood the most gorgeous boy I had ever seen and he was looking at me! As soon as our eyes met I couldn't look away.
