Miremba That night I lay in my bed. School tomorrow. That sucked. Another day of the constant 'Hey fatty, do you actually believe that your pretty?'
I shut my eyes tight, trying my hardest to block out the thoughts rocketing through my head. I'd blown it. It was now extremely awkward between me and Carl.
I turned over and pulled the covers around me.

"Hey." Mark said as I walked up the stairs to the form room.
"Piss off." I shot at him and walked straight past him.
"Miremba, please." But I ignored him and carried on walking. "Miri!" Bonnie exclaimed, jumping up and running to hug me.
"Your acting like its been a week instead of a weekend." I grinned at her anyway.
Bonnie was one of my best friends. She'd never lied to me and was always glad to see me. I knew I could trust her with anything.
"We need to talk." I whispered to her.
She raised her eyebrows. "Later." I told her.

Carl caught my eye in Maths and I saw the sadness hidden deep in them.
Sorry. I mimed towards him.
He looked back at his book and I sighed.
I looked down at mine and got on with my work.

When I got home I realised I'd forgotton to tell Bonnie about it all so I logged onto facebook. Just too find her offline. I sighed but suddenly a chat appeared.
Shane: Heyyyy. :)
I frowned. I hardly knew Shane at all, he was good-looking but from what I'd heard a bit of an idiot at times. He used to go out with Bonnie's friend Lisa and he's in Carl's form.
Meri: Hi?
Shane: Wuu2 babe?
I frowned. What the hell?
Meri: Nothing...
Shane: Wanna meet up this saturday.
Meri: Not really, I hardly know you, Shane.
Shane: Yeah, well I like you.
Pfft, I thought. Yeah right.
Shane: I really like you.
Meri: Sure...
Shane: I do, I've liked you for a while.
Meri: Anyway no, I dont want to meet up on Saturday.
Shane: Oh pleassee, I love you.
Meri: I got to go.

I logged out quickly and shut my laptop down. That was weird. I got out my phone and texted Bonnie straight away.
