Hello readers, this is Spirit Soldier and Phoenixlord42 here, and welcome to the new chapter. On this one, Percy is going to suffer a lot. And you probably might hate the fates with a passion. Also, I want to tell an ally of mine, ThePsychoPath96 got a new story up. It's a Naruto and RWBY crossover called The Hounds of Justice. If you like Naruto, RWBY, or both, I would go read that. Falling off a Tower
"Chapter 13: I Plunge to my Death…" Zeus read. Hearing that causes various reactions. Poseidon, Sally, Reyna, and Hazel are extremely paled and worried for Percy. Annabeth and Grover flinch, remembering leaving Percy to the echidna and chimera. Jason, Zeus, Ares, and Hercules were secretly grinning at the thought. And the others are a little worried as well.
(We spent...didn't relax.)
"Good." All the greek demigods said at once. "You shouldn't relax out of camp. Not even if you feel safe." The roman and the heroes of greece were surprised that they said that all in unison, like it was something they all learned through experienced.
The gods felt sick in the stomach when they heard their children said while Naruto, Fuu, and Yugito nodded in understanding. They know what it's like to alway be tensed, alway be ready to run or fight, being shinobis and also jinchuurikis.
(I felt...right opportunity.)
"Like Zeus, Hades, any monster that have a grudge on Poseidon's children." Naruto counted off. "Some people might say that being a child of Poseidon, Hades, or Zeus is a blessing, but in the end, it's a curse. They are the most targeted by not only monsters, but some of the gods as well, especially for greek children."
Percy, Thalia, and Nico nodded seriously at that. The life of being a child of the big three is hard.
(I tried...female passengers.)
"Why do people always pin things on Percy?!" Rachel shouted in frustration, with the others agreeing. Not even a child of the big three has that much bad luck. Naruto understands big time cause he was blamed for things he didn't do when he was mortal.
"Cause mortals want to pin things on anybody, rather than admit that they don't have any idea what's happening." Athena said in a matter of fact voice. Nobody can argue with that. "So true." Naruto muttered.
("Don't worry...so sure.)
"I was!" Annabeth exclaimed. Percy gave her that look, that make her admit things most Athena kids are too prideful to admit. She squirm a little at the stare, trying to ignore the gaze, but eventually, she cracked. "I wasn't." The greeks laugh at that. Only Percy can make Annabeth admit things like that.
(The rest...sitting still))
"Is he as bad as flame boy over here?" Piper asked, jamming her thumb towards Leo. Leo merely grin back at her, causing her to blush a little, seeing how cute it made him look. Then she mentally shook that thought out.
"What I can say, nobody can contain the awesomeness that is Leo." Leo said playfully. The demigods laugh at that, knowing that he was just being playful. Piper laugh as well and Leo thought that her laugh sounds really cute.
(or looking...hunted lunch.)
Chiron smile at the mention of his brothers and sisters.
(The little...was gone.)
"You saw a group of centaurs and the Nemean Lion, without having to fight it." Zoe commented. "You are one of the few demigods to do so. You are lucky." If Zoe meant lucky as, he didn't got attacked by either of those yet, then she's right. He was lucky that time.
(Our reward...to me.)
"A futile attempt." Annabeth said with a smile, causing Percy to blush. "Don't worry Seaweed Brain, I think it was cute." That made Percy blush even harder, causing Annabeth to giggle and kiss his cheek. By now, most people noticed the glares Reyna and Rachel sent Annabeth.
(Grover kept...me up.)
"I was not!"
"Yeah you were." Percy and Annabeth said in unision. Then Annabeth spoke for both of them. "I was surprise that nobody even notice it, with how loud you were." Everyone laugh while Grover blushed.
(Once, he...dreaming about?")
'Kronos.' All the greek demigods, Rhea, Naruto, Fuu, and Yugito thought in unison. It was obvious to the Titaness and the three Primordials that it was Kronos. Only he is in the underworld.
(I was...never laughs.")
"I rarely laugh." Hades corrected before turning to Zeus. "And if it's not me, then all know who it is." Zeus grinded his teeth at that.
"We are not discussing this!" Zeus exclaimed "We don't know for sure if it's him." Hades threw his hands up in exasperation. "Fine, keep your denial and get Olympus destroy. But he will prepare for what's coming."
("He offer...do that?")
"See?" Zeus quickly pointed out. "The boy see sense. So it's Hades."
"Your only agreeing with Percy because you're in denial Zeus." Naruto shot back. "And it's easier to blame the Lord of the Underworld, rather than accept the truth." Zeus turn red and glares at Naruto. What do he know? It's not father. His father will forever remain in Tartarus.
("I guess...has it?")
"And a score for Annabeth." Naruto declared. "There are a lot of proof that it's him. Yet, Zeus decide to deny and hug his electric blankie." Many broke into laughter at that, even Rhea, while Zeus turn red in anger once again. They are surprise it isn't a permanent color.
(I shook...and greedy.)
"Have you met him personally?" Naruto asked, scowling. "If you didn't meet him eye to eye then keep your opinions to yourself. You don't know Hades and you don't know why he does the stuff he did. You only listen to the rumors of others. And do you think these things now?"
Annabeth flinched at every word. When she looks away at the last question, Naruto scoff and shook his head. "Even with demigods, you can never escape rumors and false tails. Don't believe everything people tell you. I thought Athena children are smarter than that."
Most of the demigods felt guilty, along with some of the gods and goddesses. They automatically judge Hades just because he's the ruler of the underworld. No wonder Naruto's angry, considering he was judge based on rumors. Hades, meanwhile, appreciated Naruto defending him. Not many would.
Rhea smiles at Naruto in thanks. She knows how much Hades is prejudiced just because of the fact that he controls the underworld. He often talks to her about it when he has his rare break. She was angry at the other Olympians for painting Hades in a bad picture, but she didn't had the chance to talk about. Maybe while reading this book, she, with the help of Naruto, can give the Olympians a piece of her mind.
(I don't...them before?")
"Slipped up there Annie." Thalia teased, earning a glare. "I thought Athena children are more careful than that."
"She would only slip when it comes to Percy." Grover chimed in with a grin, dodging a pillow thrown by Annabeth. The others laugh at that as well while Annabeth blush.
(Her hand...your mom.")
"That is probably going to do nothing." Naruto said. "Percy is extremely loyal to his family and friends and would probably sacrifice his life, and possibly the lives of others, if it means keeping them safe." Percy look down. He's not ashame that he would sacrifice his life for his friends and family, as he would gladly do it. But ashamed that he would sacrifice anyone else to keep them safe.
("What would...to rot.")
"Ouch." Apollo winced. "That's cold." Meanwhile, Athena cast worried glances to her daughter and wonder what Frederick did to earn that hate from Annabeth. She wonder if any of her children hate their own fathers as well.
Annabeth wince. She didn't know she sounded that cold. How harsh she was to her father before this, especially since her dad tried to start things over.
"Hey." Percy whispered her, noticing your reaction. "You didn't really mean it." Annabeth shook her head, disagreeing. "You really didn't Annabeth. You weren't in that situation and you were rightly angry with him. So don't feel guilty about it."
Annabeth smile up at Percy and cuddle up to him. Sometime, seaweed brain can be really wise when he wants to be. She saw the jealous glares from Reyna and Rachel, which she returned with her own Athena glare.
Naruto is mentally laughing at the mental confrontation between the three. He wonder how long it will take before they confront each other about Percy.
("You're not...mortal parents.")
"A law that I hate." Rhea said in annoyance. "I tried to tell little zappy not to make that one, but he wouldn't listen. Said that 'We shouldn't interfere with mortal lives, including demigods.'" They would've agreed with what Rhea had said, if they weren't all laughing at Zeus's nickname.
Zeus turn red again, but this time, from embarrassment. "Mother! I told you to stop calling me that!" Poseidon, Hera, Hades, Naruto, Percy, Thalia, and Perseus are laughing the loudest out of everyone. Jason and Hercules groan, wondering how there dad can act like such a child in front of people.
("But how...to him.)
Percy's eyes harden, remembering those words. Even though Frederick got better, he shouldn't have acted like that when Annabeth was little. He hated parents that don't care for their child or abuse them, seeing that he got a step-dad that abused him the worst.
(When I...didn't exist.")
"That's horrible." Hestia said softly. "I understand why you ran away from home at a young age, as do most child." The gods and goddesses wonder how much their lovers care for their children.
(I stared...know how.)
"That's so cute!" Aphrodite gushed. She flashed towards Sally, who's holding baby Percy, and, after she ask for permission, grab baby Percy and flash back to her seat. She planted a big kiss on the baby's cheek, causing it to blush heavily. She didn't see the glares from Annabeth, Reyna, and Rachel.
"You are such a gentleman, the both of you!" Aphrodite gushed, cuddling the baby, making both Percy blush. "Can you teach Ares to be one?"
"Hey!" Ares exclaimed, glaring at Aphrodite. "I maybe do that stuff, if you didn't screech like a banshee and whine like a brat!" There was a deafening silence in the room. All the goddesses and demigoddesses glare at Ares for insulting her like that. The Stolls grab out some popcorn and pass some to the other guys, waiting to see the beatdown that he will receive. And the gods shook their head at the fool. Well, except one.
Naruto eyes turn red and was about to teach Ares a lesson, but then something stopped him. A pile of greek fire erupted on his throne and on him.
"SHIT!" Ares exclaimed. He got off his throne and was running around like a headless chicken. "Fuck, fuck, fuck! Someone get this fire off of me!" Before he knew, two giant water fist crashed down on him and crushed him into the wall. Everyone turn Percy, who was whistling innocently, and the baby, who was scowling cutely at Ares.
When Percy saw the looks they were giving him, Percy gave them an innocent look. "What? He did ask for it, in more ways than one." There was no arguing with that. Then everyone turns to Hephaestus, who was glaring at Ares with literal fire in his eyes.
"I have no idea why my 'wife', is interested with such a bastard, but you should learn some manners!" Hephaestus snarked out, fire burning intensely in his eyes and beard. Many were surprise at the anger, not thinking that he was capable of being angry. Aphrodite look surprise as well and a bit flattered that Hephaestus would defend her like that. Also have a warm feeling in her stomach.
Naruto added chakra to his hands and it started to form a rasengan. "Now it's my turn, to teach this turd a lesson. Yugito, Fuu, Artemis, Hestia, would you girls like to help?" Yugito, Fuu, and Artemis grab their range weapons eagerly while Hestia, being the peaceful goddess, gets off her fathers lap and stands by his throne and watch.
Yugito made some blue fire, Fuu cracked her knuckles and put on gauntlets with sharp spikes on the knuckles, and Artemis notch an arrow. Ares gulped, mentally he was screaming like a little girl/ And for half an hour, the god of war felt a whole new world of pain while the guys were watching and eating popcorn, and the women were cheering for blood. Some of the gods and demigods were inching away from the woman.
The three of the them got back to their seats, with Artemis and Hestia sitting back on his lap, and Naruto remaking two clones for Yugito and Fuu. In a throne is Ares, broken, bloodied, and beaten.
"Oh, and Ares?" Ares weakly turned to Aphrodite, only to be hit in the head by a shoe. "We. Are. Over." After that, Zeus shakily began to read.
("My mom...was thinking.")
"A good attempt Percy." Annabeth said, snuggling into him. "No use, but thank you for trying. It was sweet of you." She wonder why Percy even attempted to make her feel better, when she barely ever been kind to him those first years.
(Annabeth kept...ran away.")
Athena bit her lip in guilt. She had no idea Annabeth had a horrible childhood. She wonder if all her children are like that as well. But now, looking at her, she saw that she was very happy. And like it or not, it's because of the seaspawn.
Athena frowned. She still thinks that the seaspawn will break her heart. Most of Poseidon's kids are heartbreakers and she does not want her daughter to face that. She might have to take drastic measure to show her how bad Poseidon's son really is.
Little did she know, that Naruto, his adopted kids, and wives are reading her mind.
("How old...toward help.)
"At least you were willing to help her when she needs it but still help them and get to know yours kids." Said Fuu with Naruto, Yugito, Artemis, Hestia and Rhea agreed. The gods and goddesses heard this and then went into deep thought at what they said but Athena the most. All but Zeus.
(I made...time, anyway.")
Thalia, Annabeth, and Grover smile at each other, but then frown as they remember Luke.
(I wanted...the city.)
"You definitely have a unique way of describing people and things Perce." Will chuckled out, with the others as well. Percy scratch in neck in embarrassment.
("I want...Parthenon, Percy?")
"Did you forget that Kelp Head here can't go flying?" Thalia said, pointing towards Percy. "In fact, I bet any children of Poseidon would be the last people to be up in the sky." Percy and Theseus while Orion tried to hide the shiver. Zeus eyes gleam at them, making them shiver more, but he stopped when he saw Poseidon and Athena glaring at him. Poseidon, because his two sons are threaten. Athena, because Theseus was threaten. No one notice Athena glaring at Zeus, well, except Naruto and Aphrodite. The two of them hid their smirks at the goddess.
("Only in...thousand years.")
Athena beamed at that while her friends smile at her ambition. They know she is completing that ambition in the future now.
(I laugh...An architect?")
"YOU DISRESPECTF-"
"Let Zeus finish." Naruto interrupted, glaring at Athena. Zeus wanted for that to continue, but read anyway under his mother's look.
(I don't...all day.)
"See?" Naruto said to Athena. "He only mean it as a funny thought. The thought of any demigod, sitting quietly all day, is funny. Especially the more eventful ones." He looks at Leo and the Stolls when he said that, along with others.
(Yes, an...could mention.")
"Now, that's a rude comment." Naruto said, causing Athena to fume and Annabeth to rub her head sheepishly. "I'm surprised Poseidon didn't make an earthquake near her."
"You forgot that my son was with her." Poseidon said. "Besides, I don't take things that personally that much anymore."
(I watched...was mean.")
"The first time she'd ever apologized." Thalia said in awe, along with Grover. "Percy created a miracle at that and performing more and more with her." She dodged a pillow aimed at her. She was wondering where Annabeth get all these pillows from.
("Can't we...it complete.")
"I barely call that teamwork." Naruto said, rolling his eyes. "You guys argued over everything. What the mechanism would be, who would take all the credit, which one is the better of the two. My daughter had to help make a peaceful solution for the two of you. I'm surprise that you children work together better than the two of you."
Athena just cross her arms and glare at Poseidon. "It is his fault in the first place. He is too stubborn!"
"And you are so stubborn." Poseidon said boredly, making Athena angry.
"And you're also-"
"Enough!" Naruto shouted at the two of them, startling everyone. Naruto pinch his nose in frustration. "Gods, you immortals' teamwork is atrocious. You already see how bad Athena and Poseidon is. Ares and Hephaestus don't get along at all. Apollo and little Artie can be a good team, but Apollo is too annoying and my daughter gets too easily annoyed. Demeter can't let her grudge go of Hades, even though her daughter loves Hades to death." He's not going to mention what really happen with Persephone's kidnapping, since Hades and Persephone want to tell her themselves. Gods know why they waited this long. "And let's not forget about Zeus major trust issues. It's a wonder how you Olympians functioned at all."
Most of the gods flushed in embarrassment, especially Artemis. She been told too many times that she needs to learn to work with all of the Olympians, even the most annoying ones, but it so hard to, especially with Apollo and Aphrodite. And she doubt anyone can work with Ares.
Rhea sighed. She knows how bad the Olympians teamwork is. It's probably even worse than the Titans or the Giants. It seemed the primordials know how to work together when it's needed.
("Then we...at last.)
"And that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship!" Nico announced, causing Percy and Annabeth to blush. "They can work together better than any of the demigods and even gods, that much for certain." The greeks nodded in agreement. The two are deadly when teamed together.
(We pulled...said. "Sightseeing.")
"Really Annabeth?" Rachel said with a questioning look. "In a couple of days, the world might end, and you want to go sightseeing?" Annabeth flush a little at that. She can't help herself when it comes to architect.
("Sightseeing?"...go alone.)
"So sweet!" Aphrodite gushed, causing a groan from an irritated Athena. "Wanting to accompany her! So cute!"
"Also smart." Yugito commented while laying on Naruto's chest. "From what we saw, it's never a good idea to leave a demigod alone." A few notice Annabeth and Grover flinch at that.
(Grover shrugged...without monsters.")
"Especially without monsters." The Stolls and Leo said, agreeing with Grover.
(The Arch...mean anything.")
Grover bow his head down shamefully at that. He should've had known the Echnida and the Chimera was there. Otherwise, Percy wouldn't have to fight it.
"Hey." Percy whispered to Grover. "It's not your fault Grover. We don't blame for what happen with Echnida." Grover smile in appreciation and he and Percy fist bumped.
(But something...be here.)
"We should listen to Percy's gut more often." Frank said, pointing to Percy. "I mean, his gut is right way more often than not." Everyone who was with Percy, nodded in agreement. He seem to have a sixth sense about danger.
("Guys," I...like Annabeth's?")
"Yes, but it much more powerful than her little cap." Hades said, spinning his cap with one finger. Naruto have to agree with Hades. Being a shinobi, he knows stealth can be more powerful than anything. The power to capture, kill, or steal anything or anyone as long as nobody notice. Sounds more powerful than anything.
("You mean...invisibility hat,)
"I'm glad you agree with sentiment demigod." Hades said to Annabeth.
(if what...the dark?")
The demigods and most of the gods shivered at that. Power to not be seen at all, to radiate fear that intense. It's no wonder no Olympian ever tried to cross Hades.
"My bolt can still powerful enough to destroy that helm, demigod!" Zeus said, glaring at Hades. Hades merely stares at him dully, tired of that argument. This time, however, Poseidon spoke up.
"Brother, did you forget the last time you faced Hades in a battle?" Poseidon said, causing Zeus faced to turn red. "He use his helm to hide in the arena, using your emotion of anger, frustration, and fear to beat you. So I safely agree the helm in more powerful than your bolt or my trident, since it doesn't focus on the power to destroy things." Most of the gods stare at Poseidon in shock, never thought he would say something like that. Hades nodded in appreciation while Zeus turn red in the face.
("But then...I asked.)
"Because I have better than things to do than following a bunch of demigods." Hades stated simply. Seriously, just because of his power to control the shadows, he is seen as a stalker.
(Annabeth and...me nuts.)
Percy shivered, hating confined spaces out of all the demigods. He remember Gabe always putting him in the closest, bruised and cutted, knowing his fear of confined space. Annabeth saw him shiver and grab his hand, holding it tightly. Percy saw the guilt in Annabeth's eyes and sighed.
"Don't blame yourself Annabeth." Percy whispered to her. "It was my choice to stay with you. It was something you wanted to do."
"But you nearly died because of it." Annabeth whispered quietly. "All because my obsession over-"
"Stop it." Percy whispered fiercely to her. "I didn't die and I ain't planning to, so drop it. We didn't want to leave you alone and you wanted to go, so don't go blaming yourself like Grover does. Beside, I probably put you guys in more danger than anyone." Annabeth nodded, closing her eyes. Percy is too forgiving sometimes.
(We...about it.)
"Monster." All of the demigods groan out, already knowing the oddity of that. They wonder who's Percy going to face this time, especially Piper and Leo.
(We started...about it.)
Percy is feeling the same nausea from that elevator ride. He hold a bile coming to his throat, not wanting to throw up on Annabeth.
("No parents?"...and vicious.)
"That's either a second guess that it's a monster or it show that Percy have terrible luck with dogs." Leo commented, causing some laughter and sheepish Percy rubbing the back of his head.
(I said...everything up.)
"Monsters do not know how to act like regular people." Chris said, everyone agreeing. Most monsters in disguise comes off as creepy.
(At the...pretty quick.)
"I don't think I can go there." Thalia said, paling at the thought of going that high up.
(Annabeth kept...for me.)
Leo said the statement everyone was thinking. "Well, shit."
"Language Valdez!"
"Sorry Lady Hestia." Leo squeaked out, hiding behind Piper.
(The park...the ramp.)
"We should've had stayed with, even if we mess everybody up." Annabeth said, feeling guilt claw at her again, along with Grover. "If we did-"
"Guys, stop it." Percy said firmly, noticing the guilt looks on their faces. "If you guys stayed up with me, you might've been injured as well. But we don't know that and it already happen, so dropped it." He said the last part with a stern glare to the two of them, making them nod their heads.
(Now the...Forked tongue?)
'Echidna' Naruto, Fuu, Yugito, Rhea, Athena, Hephaestus, and Hades thought, recognizing the monster. When she is revealed, Rhea is going to give Zeus a stern talking to.
(Before I...him back.)
"Good instinct." Sally said with a nod, worried for Percy. Aphrodite clutching the baby in her arms, worried for him along with the other gods who likes Percy.
(The Chihuahua...to make.")
"Chimera?!" Most of the people yelled, especially Poseidon, Sally, Rachel, Reyna, Hazel, Frank, Clarisse, and Thalia. Percy's bad luck just keep coming and coming.
Percy sigh and close his eyes, mentally preparing himself for what's coming. Not only from the pain of the bite, but also at the jabs he is going to get from Hercules, Jason, Zeus, Ares, and Orion. Till they felt three very powerful energies aimed at them. They turned and saw the energy coming from Naruto, Fuu and Yugito and saw a disappointed look from Rhea.
"If you five even think about insulting percy I will not hold back cause i really don't think you want to fight a being more powerful than Kronos." said Naruto. Rhea put a hand on Naruto's shoulder and said this to them "I'm not scared of punishing the five of you cause i know how to give them." The five were paling in fear of Naruto and Rhea. Naruto is very scary god when he wants to be, so can Rhea.
Most of the people wonder why Naruto would suspect them insulting Percy, except for the guy himself, who knew that he was going to lose the battle.
(She rolled...the monster.)
"Did they just saw that?" Leo asked. No one answered, too worried for Percy, especially his family and closest friends.
(The Chimera...EXT. 954)
"You read the name tag while facing thing?" Octavian asked, incredulous. "Why didn't you die all these years?" He said it like he was disappointed that he didn't, making the other girls fiercely glare at him.
(I realized...terrible Echidna!")
There was a prolonged silence in the chamber. No one said anything or move. Poseidon slowly turn to his brother, with a murderous look in his eyes.
"You," Poseidon said quietly, his voice sounding calm, but venomous. "Sent the Echidna AND the Chimera after my son?" Everyone froze at the look his was giving to Zeus. It look the same as Percy glares, like staring into death itself, whether mortal or godly death.
Zeus felt fear in his heart, but he wasn't going to back down. "He isn't suppose to be ali-"
"Well, he is. Get to used to it." Poseidon said calmly, like the calm before the storm. Hera, Hestia, Demeter, and Hades shivered, knowing that Poseidon got his scary stare from mother. "I could've drown your two children or sent an earthquake on them, yet I don't do that, do I? I could've sent out my monsters on them, yet I don't do that do I? So if my son dies because of you, just know you'll be begging for death." All the Olympians shiver, knowing what Poseidon said wasn't a threat. It was a promise.
Rhea looks at Zeus with disappointment in her eyes. He was suppose to be a better leader than Kronos, but it look like he is doing just as bad. She honestly don't know what she had done wrong with Zeus.
Thalia and Perseus felt embarrass that Zeus was there dad. The most paranoid, arrogant, and dramatic god. They wonder why they didn't become like that, but they thank whatever deity out there for that.
Everyone else is extremely worried, especially Annabeth, Grover, Sally, Hazel, Frank, Thalia, Nico, Reyna, Rachel, and Clarisse. Annabeth clutch Percy's waist, hoping that Percy didn't get injured too badly. Percy never explained what happen, so she was extremely worried.
Percy sighed, preparing himself for the pain and the humiliation.
(I stared...of anteater?")
"You just signed your death wish Petro." Dionysus commented, turning another page in his wine book. His book suddenly got soaked up with water and the ink turn all blurry. Dionysus cried out in shock and glare in the direction of where the water was out, only to meet the murderous stare of Poseidon.
Nobody was going to lie. He fainted from fright right on the floor.
(She howled...destroy house!")
"She is lucky I'm not there to destroy her." Poseidon said calmly, making most of the people shiver. Everyone in the room all agreed on something. Percy and Poseidon are truly scary when pissed off to the core.
(The Chimera...get hurt.)
"So sweet!" Aphrodite cooed, snuggling the baby Percy in her chest. The baby laugh cutely, liking the attention. "You raised a good boy Sally." The mother and son blush at the compliment.
"That's Percy for you." Rachel said, smiling at the boy. "Always willing to make sure no one get."
"Especially his friends." Reyna said, smiling as well. "True loyalty like that is hard to come by from the Romans."
"And that's the best part about Percy." Annabeth said, momentarily calm down when the tension is gone. "His loyalty and compassion is unique from other demigods." At this point, Percy is beet red by now. He don't know what the big deal was. He was sure anyone with a good heart would try to help people in need.
Fuu looked at Percy with a smile and said "You remind me so much of Naruto when we were mortal. He always put others ahead of him self, their safety amongst other things."
Yugito added something in. "Yeah, I remember first meeting Naruto. He saved me and he didn't even know who i was, but he did not care. I needed help, so he helped without any hesitation." Yugito smiled at the memory. "His other wives would tell you the same thing." Naruto merely scratch in hair in embarrassment, flattered at the compliments.
"It was stupid." Hercules scoffed. "Casualties are part of ba-OWWW!" He jumped off his seat, holds his butt in pain, which holds a very big red hand mark. The one that did that was Rhea.
"I would be quiet if I were you dear." Rhea said sweetly, a dark aura surrounding her. "Otherwise, you'll get more than that." The six eldest gods shivered. Their mother can dish out the worst punishments ever.
(I uncapped...thought possible.)
"He have a knack for making people angry." Piper commented lightly. Annabeth hope that it doesn't get him killed one day.
(Before I...eye brows.)
Percy gritted his teeth, feeling the intense heat. Annabeth look up at him in worry, but he gave her a strain smile.
(Where I...national monument.)
Athena look like she was about to faint in horror. Nico snicker at the look on her face and Thalia decided to add full in the fire. "It won't be the first national monument he will destroy."
THUMP.
Athena fainted and everyone laugh at that. After Artemis woke her up, they got back to reading again, with Percy trying to ignore Athena's glare.

No matter how hard Percy was prepared, he still screamed in hot white pain. He hold his calf in pain and end up falling on the floor, after Annabeth quickly got out of his lap. She was at Percy's side, just as quick, along with other demigods.
"Percy hang in there. You'll be alright, please hang in there." Annabeth pleaded. Naruto started to move Artemis and Hestia grabbed the kits and got off his lap he walked toward Percy.
"Move." Naruto said in a voice of authority. When the demigods heard what he said they made a path so he could get to Percy. When he got to Percy, there were four girls with him. Annabeth, Reyna, Rachel and Thalia, all of them have tears in their eyes. His friends and his mother are there as well, extremely worried, Sally look like she is on the verge to breaking down. When Naruto got closer, his hands started to glow, making the others think that he was going to hurt Percy. So they move to grab their weapons, till they heard "STOP" then turned to see it was Artemis and Hestia who spoke. "Daddy is not going to hurt him watch." they said.
When Naruto was in front of Percy who was screaming in pain. Naruto knelt down and put his hands on Percy's chest and head and said in a soothing voice "Breathe Percy. Everything is going to be alright. I will talk to the fates about this, so please calm down you are with friends. Everything will be okay this curse will lessen I promise." As Naruto was saying this his screaming was lessening and he was calming down and the pain was leaving him.
It had ended the screaming stopped and Naruto slowly pulled his hands away and he moved away and Percy started to wake up and everyone was about to rush him. till Naruto stopped them. "Stop! Let him breath people! He's calming down from the pain." Everyone back down after that. Finally, Percy manage to gain his footing, but he still felt his calf burning like hell.
"I'm okay." Percy said, his voice a little hoarse. "I'm okay." Immediately, he was ambushed by hugs from Annabeth, Rachel, Reyna, Sally, Thalia, and Hazel. Everyone else sigh in relief, glad that he was alive. And Poseidon put his trident back up, don't seeing the need to kill Zeus. For now.
Everyone sat down to their seats and Zeus got back to reading, disappointed that Percy didn't suffer longer. He was about to read, when Naruto said something. "I may have lessen the pain, but the poison effect is still there. So do us a favor Zeus and quick reading." Zeus wanted to postpone it, but Naruto glares at Zeus and Rhea is ready smack Zeus. So he kept reading.
(My whole...on fire.)
"That's an understatement." Percy said, grimacing at the pain. "It feel like it's in a bowl of fire." Annabeth put her hands down to his leg and rub it softly, hoping it would lessen the pain. Percy tense as he briefly felt roaring again, but then sigh Annabeth's rubbing cooled it down a little. The two of them were aware of any amuse looks, jealousy glare, or a very angry mother glare.
(I tried...Mississippi River.)
"Great." Poseidon moaned, feeling stressed. "Poison in his veins and no weapons. Just fucking great." He keep reminding himself that Percy was alive and here but Naruto needed to get rid of the poison fast.
Naruto went back over to Percy and said "Open your mouth please." Percy did just that. Naruto got a vial that was on a chain around his neck (causing the watchers to look with interest), opened it up and poured what was inside into Percy's mouth when the vial was empty Percy swallowed. Naruto got up and brought percy with him. When they reached his throne he set Percy down gently. "What was in that Naruto?" asked Annabeth still worried for Percy.
"That my dear girl was a bit healing water from Fuu's private healing springs. It is very powerful because It will heal any and all wounds even poison. the reason i brought him closer to Fuu and I is so we can monitor his health because it could back to to bad very quickly." Naruto explained. Then he turned to the hunters and said "Hunters you will not hurt him at all am I understood." He gave each of them a stern look
"Yes Naruto." the hunters answered, some wasn't planning to hurt him, others know better than to disobey Naruto.
Annabeth, Rachel, Reyna, Thalia, Sally,Grover, Nico, Hazel, Frank, Piper, Leo, and Poseidon were still worried for Percy, but force themselves to listen to the story.

Percy groan, feeling the poison, of the pain, coming up to his chest, but the healing water is fighting that off. So it only feel like a mild burn.
(I remembered...it out.)
"I really hate it when you act so pessimist." Annabeth choked out, trying to hold back a sob. It's painful to see the one you love in pain. The same for Rachel, Reyna, Thalia, Sally, and Poseidon. They hope that healing water works.
(I backed...eh, son?")
"You be quiet you humanoid reptilian!" Annabeth yelled out, at the book. "He's the best hero you will ever seen!" A lot of the demigods agreed with Annabeth's statement,
Athena merely frown at that statement, hating the fact that Annabeth have so much compassion for the sea spawn.
(The monster...just...die.)
"Of course." Thalia muttered, quite pale like the others and holding back her own tears. "You have poison, weaponless, and dying, yet you're still worried about the people around you."
Percy groan, but manage to say something. "It's my fault they were in danger." He feel the healing water and the chimera poison fighting for dominance. He chuckle. The fates love to torture him, he can feel both the poison and the healing water spread all over the body.
"No, it isn't young demigod." Hestia said comfortingly, smiling at the compassion in this boy's heart. Then she turn and glare at Zeus. "It's my brother fault for sending her in the first place. Just know if any mortal get harm, it will be your fault."
Zeus squirm, seeing the glare Hestia giving him. He also feel something gnawing in his heart. It was one feeling he refuse to ever acknowledge. Guilt.
Fuu check his pulse and sighs in relief, seeing that it's not weakening. The healing water is doing it's job.
(I tried...was scared.)
Hercules laughed mockingly. "That is pathetic. Fear make you weak." Naruto growled while the other glare at him. Naruto was about to get up and choke Hercules to death, but then Hercules yowled and hold his butt, then same as Ares. Everyone automatically knew who did that.
"Hercules, I would suggest that you don't say anything else." Rhea said, her dark aura surrounding her. Meaningless to say, Hercules needed some new pants. The others scoffed. Fear make people weak huh? So what does that make Hercules?
Meanwhile, Percy groans, hoping that the others will read faster. He really can't take this anymore.
(There was...river glittered.)
Everyone eyes widen and all that knew Percy well, mentally yelled 'Jumped!'. They he would survive it and would heal.
(If I...humans alone?)
Annabeth let out a small sob, hearing the sentences. Thalia put a comforting hand on Annabeth shoulder and pull her close, so she won't break down. Rachel is shaking and paled. Reyna clenched her fist hard enough to draw blood, trying not to show any emotion. Hazel is very paled and look like she will break down, with Frank comforting her. Clarisse is the same as Reyna, trying not to show any emotion, with Chris putting a comforting hand on her knuckle. Basically, everyone is worried, even Leo and the Stolls aren't talking to ease the tension.
("If you...your bloodline.")
Poseidon is closing his eyes and crossing his fingers, hoping that his son will jump. He know that he doesn't control fresh water, but the immortals who does respects him. So his son should survive.
(Yeah, right...on impact.)
"This is a bad time to use logic seaweed brain." Annabeth said quietly, looking at her very pale boyfriend. One of the very few times he use logic and it was the worse of times.
(The Chimera...your heart.")
All the gods got very angry, wanting to destroy the Echidna over and over for calling them faithless. Even though most of the time, it is true. The demigods are angry that she called Percy a coward. Percy is anything, but a coward. He is one of the bravest person they ever met.
(She was...the gods.)
Naruto and Fuu cursed in japanese. They can feel Percy's breathing slowing down. They are lucky the healing water is in him, otherwise he probably be dead. The only reason Percy was alive during that fight is because he was running on adrenaline. Now, he got no such luck.
(I backed...his son.)
"That proves Percy don't really hate his father." Hestia said softly, smiling at Poseidon. Percy weakly nodded, confirming that Hestia is correct. Poseidon weakly smile, glad that Percy didn't hate him at that time. But he is still deeply worried for his son.
(But this...God here.)
"But there are people who will help him." Poseidon whispered, almost pleadingly. "They must." He knew they are going to help, considering the fact Percy is still alive, right in front of him.
("Die, faithless...the river.)
"Done." Zeus said, closing the book, Everyone look to Percy, to see if the effect wore off, but to their dismay, it didn't.
"Someone read the next chapter!" Annabeth yelled. Quickly, Reyna seize the book and get to reading. But before they could, Percy fell over on the ground and his friends screamed out his name in panic. The next thing they know his clothes caught fire. His friends begin to panic even more, but a stream of water comes out of nowhere and put the fire out.
Naruto walked over to Percy and checked him over then turned to Fuu and Yugito "Fuu, Yugito, can you get some stuff for me? Some pillows, a rag, and some cold water?"
"Why do you need the cold water?" asked Fuu.
"Cause the fire raised his temperature." Naruto quickly explained. Fuu and Yugito went to get the stuff Naruto had asked for. When the two came back with everything Naruto asked for, he had gently lifted Percy's head and put the pillow under it and lowered his head down slowly and gently.
Then Naruto put the rag in the water and out and rang the extra water out and put it on Percy's head. "I have done all that i could we must let time take it's course for him to recover." Naruto explained to everyone and the ones that liked Percy sighed in relief. "So now, let's read the next chapter so he can recover fast." Reyna didn't hesitate to read the next chapter. Meanwhile, Naruto sighed. Look like they'd found out about him intervening with the curse and it look like he's going to have to talk to them.
"Chapter 14: I Become a Known Fugitive…"
Spirit: And that's the end. I know that Percy would only feel the effects, not the effects coming alive, but the fates decided to take vengeance against Naruto.
Phoenix: The reason why Naruto helped was because the fates almost broke their no killing rule with the poison.
