Spirit: Hello readers and welcome to our new chapter. On this one, they're going to read about Percy, Annabeth and Grover meeting Ares. It's going to be interesting.

Eating Cheeseburgers with a Jerk
"Chapter 15: A God Buys us Cheeseburgers…" Ares read. Ares stop reading to say, "What loser would buy these demigods something?" Annabeth, Percy, and Grover had to hold a snicker in, since Ares is basically calling himself a loser.
(The next...was obvious.)
"You are correct on that statement Percy." Grover said, still shivering at the smell. "Take it from a Satyr, who has a sensitive nose." Juniper patted his back sympathetically while he was shivering.
("Let's try...the city.)
"Did anyone notice that Percy use water references a lot or is it just me?" Fuu asked everyone, getting nods from everyone else. "Hmm, so it's not just me." Percy blush at that. He can't help, but use water references.
(Finally we...no good.)
"Then I wonder why none of the cops didn't catch those men." Rhea wondered. Either none of the better cops were near or none of them were actually worth their doughnuts.
("What exactly...for half-bloods.")
"Which is all the time." Will said. "I wonder if she has a lot of free time, considering we can Iris message most of the time." The demigods wonder that as well.
("You summon...Drachma, please.")
Thalia gasp in pure shock, causing the others to look at her in concern.
Thalia looks at Percy with amazement. "You actually got her to say please, Kelp Head. You accomplished a miracle here." She dodges the pillow thrown by Annabeth.
(I handed…I called.)
Some of the demigods had to hold back a growl at the mention of Luke. Luckily, none of the gods notices them acting strangely. But the Titaness and the Primordials did and they look at the demigods curiously. What did Luke did to earn their hate?
(He turned...guys okay?")
"If there is one thing I can say about our brother, is that he's a good actor." Connor muttered, which Travis agreed to darkly. They wonder how their dad will take Luke being a traitor.
("Were...uh...her face.)
"Don't. Say. A word." Annabeth growled out, mainly talking to Leo, the Stolls, and Aphrodite. They got the hint and stayed quiet. Athena, however, didn't get the hint.
"Daughter, why don't you date Castellan?" Athena asked her daughter, unaware of the dark aura surrounding her daughter. "He would be better than the sea spawn." Instead of her daughter answering it was Yugito.
"Maybe she didn't date him is because, oh by the dark aura surrounding her, Castellan did something very foolish to earn the dark aura so lets not bring this topic up again." Yugito said with Naruto, Fuu and Rhea nodding in agreement. Annabeth looks toward Yugito and nodded in thanks. She was about to blow up at her mother, but thankfully, Yugito stopped it.
Hermes, meanwhile, is wondering what his son did to earn that from Annabeth.
("We thought...of sight.)
"Would you stop thinking like that Percy?!" Annabeth yelled at her boyfriend. Aphrodite still kept her mouth shut, despite her wanting to squeal about a love triangle.
("Grover, come...followed Annabeth.)
All the females slowly turn to Grover, who is hiding behind Percy. All of them either have dark aura or killing intent leaking out of them.
"So you think we're confusing, do you goat boy?" Thalia asked, bringing her spear with the other girls bringing their weapons. Grover whimper in fear, but luckily, and strangely, Zeus got on his side.
"For once, I agree with the satyr." Zeus said, "Women are confusing." Soon, most of the males sided with Grover on this one. The only ones who didn't was Percy (both versions), Naruto, Hades, and Hephaestus.
All of the women, except Aphrodite (who is holding baby Percy), Sally, Hestia (both are too peaceful to fight), and Rhea (who has a lot of restraint and maturity out of all the immortal females), was about to attack the guys when felt overwhelming amount of dark power crash under them. That demonic power was coming from Naruto.
"ENOUGH!" Naruto yelled out. "Despite the guys acting like idiots, you will not attack them or you deal with me. Am I understood?!" The goddesses and demigoddesses nodded their heads rapidly, not wanting to fight Naruto. They have no desire to lose a limb or their life.
His wives, however, are turned on when they feel that dominating aura that he lets off. They can feel the arousal coming from their lower parts and they couldn't wait to be in bed with him again.
Ares was disappointed that there wasn't going to be a fight, sulkily read.
(I readjusted...the hellhound.")
'Glad to see you know what you are.' Most of the demigods thought angrily.
(Now the...backing Zeus.")
"Wait a minute, only my daughter is backing me up?" Zeus roared, glaring at Apollo, Ares, and Aphrodite. "Why would you go against the king of the gods?!" Naruto rolls his eyes and level Zeus with a glare.
"The reason they are not backing you is because this is a fight that could, oh, I don't know. END ALL LIFE AS WE KNOW IT. BECAUSE YOU ARE ALWAYS SO QUICK TO PUT THE BLAME ON OTHERS!" Naruto roared out at Zeus, which cause the sky god to cower in his throne like a child. "So that is why they are not joining your side or staying out of it. And also, Poseidon and Hades are too busy running their kingdoms to even think about stealing your lightning toy!"
Hearing the last part got Zeus angry all over again. He growl and stood up from his throne, summoning his bolt. "It is not a toy! It's the most powerful weapon in all of-"
SQUEAK
Everyone was silent when they heard the squeak, even Zeus. Zeus slowly turns towards the bolt he was holding and found out that it wasn't his precious bolt. Rather, it was a toy bolt. The real master bolt was in Naruto's hands. The primordial merely smiles at Zeus, happy about another successful prank.
Naruto walks over to Rhea and handed her the bolt, instead of Zeus. "Could you hold this to make sure the child here does not do anything stupid with it?" Rhea nods and takes the bolt in her hands, much to Zeus displeasure.
"You can't take my bolt from me!" Zeus yelled out like a child denied his favorite toy. "It's my weapon! My symbol of pow-":
"Zeus, enough!" Rhea said in a stern voice. "Naruto is right. You are a child that needs to be disciplined and only Naruto, his wives and I can do that. I also heard that you called Naruto a minor god when he is older and more powerful than you and your siblings."
With that, Zeus sat down like a sulking child. The others laugh at how Zeus is acting while Thalia and Perseus want to deny that this was their father.
(I shuddered...for anything.)
"Come on Prissy, teaming up with me ain't that bad." Clarisse said with an eye roll. Percy merely gave her a blank look at the statement. Sure, teaming up with someone who nearly mutilated him in the first week isn't that bad.
(In the...decreased drastically.)
Before anyone could ask, Annabeth answered. "I showed them the knife in my hand. Luckily, they were cowards." Some of them laugh at that.
(I told...shut off.)
Thalia, Grover, and Annabeth look at him in shock. "You actually told him everything, even the dream? Without hesitation?" Percy nodded, not looking in their eyes.
Annabeth bit her lip. She was mad at him for not giving trust Luke in the past when Percy actually trusted Luke and looked at him like a role model or maybe a big brother at the beginning. Other than Grover and Chiron, Luke showed him the most kindness than anyone in the camp combined. No wonder Percy hated Luke.
("I wish...saw him.")
"Hermes, be glad that your son isn't here." Hades said calmly, knowing to control his temper. "Cause if he was, I probably would've have skeletons dragged him in the underworld right about now."
"Leave him out of this!" Hermes defended his son, glaring at Hades. "He has his reason to think you was the one who stole it."
"Yes," Hades said sarcastically. "I would surely steal the bolt at the only time I'm allow at Olympus. I am not an idiot, Hermes. Add to the fact that we can't take each other's magical items directly."
("But Chiron...items directly.")
"And it seems that the boy agrees with me." Hades pointed out.
("That's true...be invisible.")
"...That son of a bitch did not just do that!" Thalia shouted out, electricity running through her eyes. She ignore the glare Hermes sent her for the 'son of a bitch' comment.
"He try to pin this on me?!" Annabeth exclaimed, feeling more angry than ever at Luke, so did the rest of the demigods.
"I don't know." Zeus said, eying Annabeth suspiciously. "The boy does have a point. You would have to be invisible in order to steal. So it might b-" A kunai, a sword, and a spear was embedded near his legs. Plus, a water ball hit him on the face. The attack came from Naruto, Percy, Athena, and baby Percy, who are all glaring at him.
"You should stay quiet Zeus, if it's know what's good for you." Naruto said calmly. "Otherwise, you will have your daughter against you as well." Zeus growls, but stays quiet, seeing Naruto's point.
(We were...to me.")
"So you would accuse your own sister." Thalia said coldly. She wonder what happened to the Luke they knew before he join the Titans. Sure, he came back at the end, but there was many things he did that was unforgiving.
(I wonder...that description.)
"Sister is fine." Annabeth said. "Anything, but dating!" Naruto, Fuu and Yugito heard her tone of a voice and Naruto turns to her and asked "Why?"
Annabeth turn away from the looks. "Read!" Annabeth gritted out at Ares. Ares didn't like being commanded, but he didn't want that knife anywhere near his private part so he kept reading.
(In the...car wash.)
"I showed them Grover's hooves and legs." Annabeth answered the silent question. That got some laughter from the group.
("You'd better...he just-")
"He. Did. Not. Just. Say. That." Thalia said, puncturing every word in her mouth. Did he just blame Grover for what happen?
The other demigods are angry as well, especially Percy, Annabeth, Nico, and Juniper.
(But the...for it?")
"She just had to ask that?" Naruto asked, with a raise eyebrow. "I'm going to take a guess and say that you three looked like you crawled out of a dumpster." The blushing faces answered his question.
(Grover's lower...linoleum.)
"I'd probably would've have done it." Grover said sheepishly. He eats, well, anything when he's nervous.
(Annabeth looked...human skin.)
All the demigods had to hold back from barfing when they heard that. The leather of that bike is made out of caucasian skin?
Hephaestus immediately know that was Ares. He has fixed that bike more times than he can count. He still wonders why Hera let him drive that bike.
(He was...somewhere before.)
"So I'm in now." Ares said, grinning. "This should be fun." Suddenly the Stolls bursted out laughing, causing everyone to look at them in confusion. What's so funny?
"He...called...himself...an...idiot." Travis gasped out through his laughing fit, then it renewed. Everyone suddenly remember what Ares said about the title, including Ares himself, and they all bursted out laughing while Ares merely growled at himself.
(As he...still here?")
"You could be nicer to the poor woman." Hestia scolded Ares. The god was about to tell Hestia to screw off when he saw the glares of Naruto, Rhea, her kitsune, Yugito, Fuu, and the other elder gods and goddesses.
(He pointed...he was?)
Annabeth can feel Percy shaking in anger, so she grab his hand to mentally calm him down. Percy felt the comfort from his girlfriend, but it only swell down the anger a little. And right now, he want to slice the fates with Riptide.
(He gave...stepdad, Gabe.)
"Hey!" Ares cried out, feeling insulted. "Don't compare me to that pig! I maybe a jerk, but not that big of a jerk!"
(I wanted...to you?")
"You have a death wish dude." Leo commented while still holding a traumatized Piper. Piper nodded her head in agreement, still not willing to speak.
Aphrodite feel concern for her daughter and angry at Orion. She was conflicted at either blasting Orion to bits or helping the Leo boy comfort her daughter. Out of no where, a portal opened and a pack of Wolves came out of the portal they went over to Piper and Leo and acting as guards. The pack leader was holding a scroll and walked over to Naruto and he took the scroll and started to read it. As he was reading it his smile was growing more and more.
Aphrodite was curious at what it says and asked "What does it say Naruto?"
He looked toward Aphrodite and said "The scroll says 'I heard what happened from Anko and I sent my best pack to help keep that rapist in check and the leader is the red wolf, the wolf he was going to shoot. When I get there I am going put Orion in the hospital but he will keep Piper safe and help her out. See you later. Love Hana' So while Piper needs it the wolves will protect her." Naruto said with a grin that scares Orion.
Aphrodite was looking at the wolves, mentally thanking this Hana, then asked Naruto "Who is Hana?"
Naruto smiles and points to Yugito. "She is Yugito's opposite because Hana is the goddess of Canines and another wife of mine."
Aphrodite had a look of understanding and asked " So they are always at each others throats?" Naruto looked at Yugito, who have a sheepish look on her face.
"Yes they are at times, but I am able to stop them from fighting." Naruto said. "It usually helps when I threaten not to make love with them for a month." The wives of Naruto shiver and pale at the thought.
(Annabeth's eyes...for it.")
"I was not!" Clarisse denied. When she saw the blank looks from the other demigods, she sagged in defeat. "Okay, I was."
("Probably. That's...for you.")
"Thanks for the support father." Clarisse muttered out, angry and hurt that her dad didn't support or defended her. Chris gave her a one arm hug in comfort, causing her to smile in an un-Clarisse way.
(The waitress… "Problem, sweetheart?")
"You, are an ass Ares." Aphrodite said, glaring at the man. Ares was about to say something but stopped when he heard a growl and he turned to see the pack leader growling at him. So he kept reading, not admitting to himself that he is scared of the wolf.
(The waitress...a knife.")
"When you're a god, you can." Ares laughed out arrogantly. He suddenly got hit with multiple water balls that come from the baby, causing him to fall off from his throne.
"Meanie!" Percy shouted at him, causing some cooing from the woman, especially Annabeth, Reyna, Rachel, Sally, and Aphrodite. Ares growls, wanting to slice that baby in half, but he knew that those mutts and Naruto are watching him, so he sat down.
(Ares laugh...for me.")
"You can't command him Ares." Artemis said, glaring at him. "He isn't your servant."
"Says the girl who commands her hunters." Ares said back with a sneer. Artemis was about to get one of her arrows, but Naruto decided to pitch in.
"Really? My little huntress has the right to command the hunters because they swore loyalty to her and, as I recall, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover, didn't swear their loyalty to you." said Naruto with a straight face. Ares seeths at him, wanting to slice the immortal into two. But he backed off when Naruto unsealed a beautiful katana with the uzumaki swirl on the sheath.
("Why don't...like it.)
"If you try to do so, you will have to deal with me.." Poseidon said threateningly. Ares grunted, but didn't say anything else.
(A god...protect you.")
Percy growls, resisting the urge to attack the god. As before, he knew that what Ares would want and he's not going to give him the satisfaction, even if he would like to see ichor spewing from his mouth.
(I wanted...the satisfaction.)
"Good restraint." Reyna said with an approving nod. "No wonder you could resist the urge to slice Octavian." Octavian merely grunted, not wanting to sound like an idiot.
("We're not...the battlefield.)
Naruto, Fuu, and Yugito wince. They've seen their fair share of corpses, blood, and smoke during their time as mortal.
("I know...Corpse Breath.")
"Ares, you are one step closer to going in Tartarus." Hades calmly said, his deadly aura surrounding him. Ares look away, not wanting to admit that he's scared right now.
("You told...little quest.")
"How about, go to hell?" Percy comment innocently, can't hold back all the anger pent up inside him. Naruto was looking at Percy with pride.
("Thanks." I...your mom.")
"Ares, for once, used a smart tactic." Athena commented. "He used the boy's desire to find his mother." Annabeth, Poseidon, Reyna, and Rachel glower at that. They admit, that's smart, but it's a low tactic.
"That was low." Naruto said shaking his head. "Effective but low."
("My mom...Love Ride.")
Annabeth and Percy blush a little. They're going to know that they went to the Love Ride together and they are sure that the others will tease them, especially Aphrodite.
("What interrupted...you off?")
Ares growls and glare at Percy. "If your daddy wasn't here right now, you would've been a mutt right now for me to hunt down." Percy merely glare back at the War God, not afraid of him one bit.
(Ares bared...was nervous.)
"Nervous?! I'm never nervous!" Ares shouted out in denial.
"Really now? Because, as I recall, you were nervous when I first arrived here to read this story. You were shaking in your throne." Naruto said to the War God. "And if pissing off a women does not make you nervous, then I would say you are either a fool or an idiot." Ares gnashed in teeth together while the others laugh at him.
("You're lucky...I am.)
"Or you don't want Poseidon to put a Trident through your neck." Hephaestus said dryly, getting a glare from the War God.
"Screw you, cripple!"
"That insult is getting old, brother. Find a new one."
(I'll meet...told otherwise.)
"Their faces was, 'Oh shit, we just talked to a maniac.'" Percy said, getting blushes and glares from the Satyr and the daughter of Athena.
("Not good...of me.)
All the anger drains out from Percy and he sigh in relief. He didn't know how long he could hold it in without doing anything stupid.
("It's probably...just go.")
"Not the smartest idea." Theseus said. "It's stupid to ignore a god's quest, despite the fact they never did anything for us. They have the power to punish us and they wouldn't hesitate to do so, some of them might even punish their own children."
"Ah yes, but every demigod has a right to turn down a side quest no matter what and killing a demigod for not doing a side quest will cause an uprising faster then you can blink." Naruto said, with Yugito, Fuu, Artemis, Hestia and Rhea agreeing with Naruto. Zeus scoff, disregarding that response. No one would want to rebel the Olympians.
He forgot the fact many others, gods or mortals, did that in the past because of how he rules.
"Don't denied it, it's true. In the hidden village of the mist, the fourth Mizukage started a bloodline purge, a killing a every clan that had a bloodline. It caused a revolution, with so much death and lost along with it. My wife, Mei, would be able to tell you more about the bloodline purge and during that time, it was the bloody mist." Naruto said with a grim face and voice, remembering the memories Mei showed him. He hates war, as all soldiers does. Well, except the bloodthirsty ones.
("We can't...a rodent.")
"I won't let that happen." Poseidon declared, glaring daggers at Ares. "He knows what happens if one of my children is threaten."
(I looked...wisdom sometimes.")
"That's true." Naruto said, agreeing with Annabeth. "Yeah, strength is useful, but it's merely a tool. You need to use that tool wisely, otherwise, you will be defeated." His wives, Rhea, his daughters, Athena, and Hades nodded at that statement.
Ares brooded. He don't need lessons at how to fight.
("But this...like that?")
Hephaestus eyes shine with realization. One of his traps must be their. He uses them to embarrass Aphrodite and Ares, but mostly his brother.
(Annabeth and...and creepy.)
"...And you brought your ex there?" Naruto asked incredulously. "Aphrodite, can you remind me why you cheated on your husband, multiple times I might add, for this bloodlusted idiot?"
Aphrodite looked down in shame. "Because you can do so much better than this bloodthirsty idiot. You have a kind and caring husband right next to you, so why cheat on him?" asked Naruto
"Oh shut up. I bet you thirty gold drachma that one of your wives cheated on you." Said Ares with confidence in his voice.
Naruto merely had a neutral look and said "Lets make the bet more interesting then. If my one of my wives cheated on me, I will teach you fighting styles from my homeland and if I win you have to wear pink clothes for a millennia."
That scares Ares a bit at the last part of the bet, but, being a stupid god, he said "Deal."
They shook on it and Yugito and Fuu went to talk to there sister wives. After ten minutes they came back with an envelope and handed it to Hera. Hera opened it up and took out the paper and read what was on it "None of us would ever cheat on Naruto. EVER!"
Naruto had a fox like smile on and turns to Ares and said "I win, have fun wearing pink for a millennia and I think Aphrodite can help you with that." Ares has a face of horror at the thought of it while everyone else was laughing at the war god. Aphrodite and Hephaestus smiles evilly at the thought of it.
("If Ares...looks like.")
Aphrodite scowls and looks at the baby in her hand. He merely smiles at her, causing her heart to melt. "You are lucky you're cute, handsome."
"Remember Aphrodite, he is taken, so please no hitting on him." Naruto said while the older Percy is cherry red.
("Percy," Annabeth...very temperamental.")
"I'm not!" Aphrodite shouted. Then she saw the looks most of the gods are sending her. "Okay, I am."
"But not as bad as Zeus." said Rhea with Naruto, Fuu, Hestia, Artemis, Hera, Yugito, Hades, and Poseidon agreeing. Zeus seeth at them, but kept quiet.
("Who is she? Echidna?")
"Pushing it too close handsome." Aphrodite warn, looking at the baby. It merely earn another beaming smile, causing her heart to melt. 'Damn it, that smile is a weapon.'
("No, Aphrodite...said. "Hephaestus.")
Aphrodite frowns and looks toward at her husband, who is looking away from everybody. Artemis, Hestia, Poseidon, and Hades felt bad for the Smith God, knowing how the god feels about Aphrodite cheating on him without a care for millennias.
Leo also feels bad for his father and a little angry at Aphrodite for treating him like that. Okay, dad is not the hottest guy around, but he has a good heart which is more valuable than looks.
"Hey Pipes." Leo whispered to the girl in his arms. "Can you talk to your mother about this when you're feeling better?" Piper merely nodded, not saying anything.
'Samui will help with that as well.' Naruto told them in their mind. The two nodded in appreciation.
Meanwhile, Aphrodite, for the first time in her immortal, is actually thinking about what she been doing. She was the Goddess of Love, not Lust, so why does she alway have an affair? Her husband never slept with another goddess and rarely sleep with mortals while she been doing it day and night.
("What's your...slightest noise.)
"Don't jinx it Percy." Thalia and Nico said together, smirking at their cousin.
(We found… "Watch me.")
Connor and Travis gasps in shock. Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, is stealing something? Then their eyes water a little. They're so proud.
(She snatched...by Zeus.)
Zeus groan. "I don't how many times I have to say this, but for the last time, it wasn't me. It was Hera who did it. I may be arrogant, I admit, but I do not do stuff like that to my own children."
Hera look at Hephaestus, only for him to look away from her. She frown. She a part of her, a small part of her regret what she did, for throwing her own son off of Olympus. But a bigger part of her didn't care right now, as she only want a perfect family.
Rhea look at Hera in disappointment. When Hera told her of what she did, she was disappointed and angry that she would do something like that to her own son, just because of his looks. And she pity Hephaestus for having to suffer
(So he...you know?")
"Yeah, she isn't into a smart cripple." Ares said, sneering at Hephaestus.
"So you're saying that she is more interested in a war loving idiot instead of a smart man? If it was me and if I was not married, I would have married the smart one." Fuu said with a straight face. "Yes, he may be crippled, but at least he is better then you."
Aphrodite flinched again. She's really questioning the choices she made and she could say that they were stupid. What she did was not love, but lust. Trying to live a fantasy. A letter appears in her lap she reaches for the letter with one hand and opens it with her nails and read it. The letter said 'You're learning from your mistakes. That is the first step to fixing your marriage Aphrodite. I will be by later to help you with the marriage and help you learn more about love. From Samui P.S. You will learn a lot from me and I will help you, like I helped with Percy and Annabeth with their problem.'
Aphrodite gained a look of determination to fix the marriage. She will try to make it up with Hephaestus, no matter what.
("She likes… "Hephaestus knows?")
"They didn't do well covering it up." Hephaestus said bitterly. He still remembers the shock he felt when Aphrodite, his wife and the Goddess of Love, cheated on him. And the fact that it was his brother she slept with was salt in the wound.
Ares sneer at him. "Stop whining you cripple. We all know that Dite would never-" He stopped and let out a high pitch scream when a shoe hit him in the crouch. It came from one murderous looking Aphrodite.
"One more word at my husband Ares and I will send doves to claw out your eyeballs." Aphrodite threatened. Hephaestus was very surprise that his wife would actually defend him like that.
"Quick question Aphrodite. Where the hell do all these shoes that you throw come from?" Naruto asked. Seriously, nobody could get that many shoes.
"I have a shoe collection at home." Aphrodite responded simply. "Plus, any shoe I throw usually appears back at my temple." Naruto nodded in understanding.
("Oh sure...embarrass them.)
Hephaestus sends an apologetic look to Aphrodite, but she understood why he did now. She was hurting him and she didn't care for a long time.
(That's why...of bronze.)
"You have a collection of those shields." Hera said, rolling her eyes. "Plus twenty swords, ten assault rifles, four shotguns, and two tanks." Nobody was surprised by that.
("This is...I wonder…")
"Yep, it's my trap." Hephaestus confirmed. "Anything with Eta attach to it is my own creations." Annabeth shiver, remembering those creations.
("Grover," I...really nothing?")
"Ouch." Leo said with a wince. "That was harsh. I mean, that mistake nearly killed you, but still, harsh." Percy rub his head sheepishly at that.
"Sorry, I was a bit irritated at the time with all that was happening." Percy said. Everyone nodded, understanding why he would be irritated.
(Grover looked...in St. Louis.)
"I was." Grover admitted. He felt that it was partly his fault that Percy was force to face both Echidna and the Chimera.
Percy shook his head. "You didn't need to Grover. Like you said, it was underground." Grover smile at Percy in appreciation.
(Grover puffed...with me-")
Aphrodite squealed at the last part, imagining Percy and Annabeth at the love tunnel. She hold up the baby and look at the baby with stars in her eyes. "You are going to be a great source for drama cutie!" The baby didn't understand what the goddess was saying, but he was babbling happily at the attention he's getting.
"Oh boy what did I say Aphrodite? He is in a relationship and he is having a bit of a problem and he does not need you making it worse." Naruto said, scolding Aphrodite. The goddess pouted at that.
("Are you...bright red.)
"What's the matter Annie, embarrass of being with your crush in the tunnel of love?" Thalia teased, dodging a pillow thrown at her. She and Percy are blushing madly.
("What's the...saw me?")
"Um, who else will see you other than Grover?" Chris asked incredulously. Annabeth blush a bit. Okay, maybe she did sound stupid back then.
("Who's going...everything complicated.)
"What that suppose to mean?" All the girls said, staring straight at Percy. Percy sweated a little and chuckled nervously, feeling the dark aura surrounding him. Once again, he's cursing the fates for making these books.
The aura vanished when every girl had a kitten in their laps. All of them squealed and cuddles the kittens. Percy turned to Yugito and nodded to her in thanks.
("Fine." I...things up.)
"Hey!" All the guys, except for Percy, Naruto, Hephaestus, and Hades, yelled. "We don't mess things up!"
"Yes, you do at times, so don't deny it you fools." said Fuu with the other girls nodding their heads.
(We reached...people: themselves.)
Aphrodite frowns at that. She didn't realize that she was that shallow before, but now, hearing it from someone's point of view, she can see why people are annoyed with her.
(I picked...love magic.")
"Awwww!" Aphrodite whined, her head drooping. "But I would love to see what would happen if Percy succumb in that love magic!"
("What?"...trip wire.)
"What trap is it this time?" Hermes said, looking excited at this. Hephaestus traps are always entertaining to was.
"We'll just have to wait and see." Hephaestus said, not knowing himself. This will be interesting, everybody can agree to that. Leo, Connor, Travis, Apollo, and Nico look excited about this as well, loving to see a prank.
("Wait," Annabeth...giant machine.)
Everyone is tense, wondering what trap Hephaestus set up for Aphrodite and Ares.
(Grover yelled...fifty-eight…")
"Oh man, can't wait to see it in the future." Apollo said with a grin. "It must be real funny." Percy and Annabeth frown. Their lives being risk wasn't funny to them.
("Hephaestus!" Annabeth...absolute fools!")
"What makes you any different from now?" Octavian said with a sneer. He heard a growl and he turned to see the red wolf growling at him, like he was ready to rip Octavian apart.
The growling stopped when Naruto started to pet the wolf and Naruto glare at him. "Octavian at times you're an idiot and a coward so unless you want to be ripped to pieces keep it up." Naruto said. Octavion clamp his lip shut and sat down, not wanting to be eaten.
(We'd almost...Annabeth screamed.)
"Annie, what did those robots look like?" Thalia asked the girl. Annabeth didn't answer, since she's still shivering at the memory.
Hephaestus realizes what the machines are and gave Annabeth an apologetic look.
(It was… "Sp-sp-aaah!")
Hercules, Orion, and Octavian were about to laugh until they saw a 'Mess with my friends and I will make you beg for death' stare from Percy. They were paralyzed with fear, unable to move and look away from that evil glare. They feel like death is crawling over them.
Nobody else laugh either, knowing how scared Annabeth was. Athena shiver at the thought of those creepy crawlies and feel sympathy for her daughter.
Annabeth is shaking, remembering freshly at the number of spiders surrounding. She received a comforting hug from Percy, calming her down.
(I'd never...the boat.)
"Thanks for that." Annabeth whispered to Percy. "Without you, I probably would've froze up and let those spiders overwhelm me." Percy merely tighten the hug, knowing that she doesn't want him say anything.
(The things...weren't gods.)
"He's right." Hephaestus said with a nod. "They would probably draw blood or rip them apart." Athena and Poseidon level glares and their weapons at the smith god.
"They'd better not be harm or there will be hell to pay Hephaestus!" Poseidon snarled, with Athena agreeing for once. Hephaestus didn't even flinch at the weapons aim at him. He understand that the two are just worried for them;
"Relax Poseidon. Athena." Hephaestus said calmly. "They're alive in this room, right? So they must've found a way to escape." At that, the two of relax slightly. But they still have their glares on the smith.
(Annabeth and...than scream.)
Annabeth felt shame at what she did. Here she was, a daughter of Athena, daughter of the best strategizer and she was screaming because of a couple of metal bugs. She had to rely on Percy to protect her when it comes to spiders. When one at her cabin, she and her cabin mates call for Percy to kill it.
"Hey." Percy whispered to her, knowing what she was thinking. "It's okay to have a fear. Whoever says that they don't fear anything, is a liar. We all have a fears Annabeth." His words slowly eliminated the shame she felt. She sighs and snuggle into Percy. No matter what, he can alway say the right words.
("Thirty, twenty-nine...surf shoe.)
"Damn, those things are vicious." Travis said with a whistle. "Note to self, don't use those in a friendly prank. Only on monsters." Connor scratch some things out from a notebook and wrote some more things in
(Grover hovered...controller's station.)
"You're not actually thinking…" Hazel said with wide eyes. "That is both clever and crazy." But what can anyone expect from Percy Jackson. He live to make crazy plans that always work.
("Grover!" I...of there.)
"What can you expect, from a daughter of Minerva?" Octavian said with a mocking laugh. "They are only fit to sewing and craft."
"What did i just say Octavian? Do i have to send the wolves at you?" Naruto asked in a very sweet voice that sent shivers down his spine. Octavian shivered more when the wolves started to growl. Annabeth smiles at Naruto in thanks, which he returns.
(Grover was...to Denver.)
"This is either going to be really bad or really awesome." Leo said with excitement in his eyes. If he wasn't holding Piper, he would be bouncing. "I'm really hoping it's the former."
("Two, one...to Olympus.)
"Most likely, we would be a surprise of what is happening." Artemis said, petting the kitsune in her lap. It was purring heavily at the soft petting Artemis was giving it.
(But I...to respond.)
"He can control boats, like me?" Theseus said with wide eyes. What impresses him is the fact that Percy is doing it at the age of twelve. He couldn't do it until he was in his twenties.
Chiron nodded. "He has perfect bearing of the sea and can sail like he have done it all his life. He can also be a great asset for a certain ship." He said the last part to Leo and everyone in Camp Half Blood knew what ship he's talking about.
Jason frowns. Is there a limit Percy's powers and skills?
(At least...held tight,)
Most of the people sent them teasing smirk, making the two of them blush heavily.
(both of...you crazy?")
"Yep!" Everyone that knows Percy said. Percy pouted at them.
("Unless you...the pool.)
"You, Percy Jackson, are about as insane as I am." Naruto said, shaking his head. He still remember the suicidal stunts he pulled and he still wonders how he'd live long enough to become a primordial.
(Annabeth seemed...trajectory angle-")
"Lalalala!" Nico and the Stolls said, holding their ears together. Athena and Annabeth throw them stinky looks.
("Fine." I… "Ouch!" Grover!)
"Go goat-boy!" All of his friends cheered out. He blush, even more when Juniper kiss him on the cheek.
(In midair...Good night!")
"I think you pissed off Zeus with that." Hestia said, shaking her head. If she know her brother well, he would take that as a sign of disrespect.
"Lucky he does not have his bolt on you right now." said Rhea holding the bolt up. Zeus scowl, but stay quiet. He look like a whiny child right now.
(The Cupids...any good.)
"You seriously wonder about that while you're on a quest?" Hercules asked incredulously. "Gods, you really are a idiotic son of Poseidon."
"Says the idiot who should have died, multiple times. Hunters, shut him up." Naruto said snapping his fingers and arrows were flying at Hercules. He tried to use the pelt but it disappeared into Naruto's hand. Hercules was hit with so many arrows that he looked like a human porcupine.
The gods and goddesses and demigods were laughing except Zeus. The hunters were rolling around on the floor laughing at their work. While Hercules is slowly pulling out the arrows, wincing in pain, Ares went back reading, snickering once and a while. Even he thinks that Hercules is a brat that need to be showed his place.
(I hated...to me.)
"Ares is going to get it badly." Nico whispered to Thalia, who nodded in agreement. Everyone in camp knows not to tease or trick Percy Jackson. Otherwise, you better prepare a will.
("We need...with Ares.")
"Hah. Like you scare me." Ares said with an arrogant grin. The demigods shook their head. Ares should be afraid. Anyone who gets Percy angry will most likely either crippled, injured, or dead. "So, who's next? This book is getting boring."
"I will." Apollo offered, getting the book. He want to read the funny. He opens the book and read the next page.
"Chapter 16: We take a Zebra to Vegas…"
(Update July 25th, 2015: For those who recognize the change, the reason I had change that part because I reread the ending of the Battle of the Labyrinth. Seeing that it would clash with what I wrote before, I decided to change to avoid any flames I might get for it.)
Spirit: And that's the end. I hope you like the chapter and I hope I didn't bash Zeus, Ares, Hercules, Orion, or Octavion to badly. I don't like those characters and Phoenix really hates Zeus, so if you don't like the bashing Zeus gets, you probably either have to get use to it or find another story. So expect Zeus to be a jerk in most of my stories, especially when I'm working with Phoenix.
Phoenix: The reason i hate Zeus is because he is Arrogant as hell and Not that good of a leader and paranoid. Trust me a lot of kings are so yeah that is one reason i hate him and he does not listen to reason. So he wants to destroy something or someone that gains power fast but he is bias to his kids.
Spirit: Okay then. I want to remind everyone to check the poll, if you haven't already. I want to see everyone's opinion of story I should do next, because I have a very creative mind.
Phoenix: Same here with the creative mind.
