Part 3

As time went on I did my daily oracle duties. These were some of the most exciting times. I would meet Aslan at the gate, we would sit on the sand and I "learned at his knees" the ways and history of men, Narnia and Aslan. The most important place for an Oracle is the chamber of the Stardust of Time. The Oracle's soul resides in this place. After an oracle's soul is in this chamber, only then can one be "immortal." My youth never wavered. I was to be forever in the childhood to adolescence period for my soul was confined in the sands of time. I, unlike other children, would never age.

While I was in Narnia, I could be found either in the archery range with my mother, the stables or horseback riding In the forest with (King) uncle Edmund and his wife Catherine, playing on the beach in the raft with (Queen) aunt Lucy and fiance Rowan, in my room reading, or in the garden playing tag with Adler and Jonathan. Uncle peter and his wife Aunt Victoria and my 3 cousins Micah and Martin (they were boy twins), and their cute baby sister Kate, were all the way in the north forest palace. They only came for like important events like Christmas and christenings.

My family was the best part of my life. I couldn't trade them for all the precious things in the world. Adler was always my protector, my teacher, trainer, secret keeper, and my best friend. He would often just listen to me and hug me in his muscular arms. Jonathan was my playmate, fencing partner, and also my protector. Both of my brothers cared for me and loved me.

There was a time when I was being naughty and was mad at my mother for not letting me play with my archery set, I was so mad, I went to her room and dumped the books off their shelves. Mother found out and sent me to my room. I threw a temper tantrum. Adler had to come and pick me up off the floor while Jonathan picked up the books. Also, one time I had fallen and created a gash on my arm, I was too afraid to tell the healers, so instead a just grabbed a bunch of cloth and started to wrap it, Adler caught me, scolded me, then proceeded to clean it, and to my dismay, gave me a towel to bite on, told me not to peek, and stitched it up with a needle and thread at the same time he was holding me still. At the end, I was laying down on my bed and told him, "You will make a good doctor just like uncle Peter, Andy." he smiled at me. At that time, I didn't know how much damage I had caused to our family by saying those words.

Danger on the Horizon? What will happen to Adler? A conspiracy started at her birth and now, well, the plot only grows. More on Ithaca's diary coming! see y'all later!
