hey guys so there is some scenes kind of based on some of the scenes in 2x18 with a few extra scenes. I'm sorry if I made Juliette to a bad person but it will fit together in the next chapter which will based on 2x19. So i hope you like it and dont forget to review or pm me to let me know

Chapter 4: think about it

Nick decided to try and impress Mia by cooking for her or at least trying to with the help of Monroe who was decided to see as him doing a nice thing for his sister rather than him trying to sleep with her. He called Mia when she was finished at work to invite her over to his place for their date. Since it was a Thursday she packed a bag filled with her work clothes as well as decided to leave her work bag with all of her paperwork in the car so that she could take it with the next day. She changed into a beige loose crop top, high waisted flared jeans, a cream cardigan and a pair of beige pumps. She wore lightly smoked eye make up and dull red lipstick, her naturally wavy hair was brushed out and slightly styled. When she got to Nick's house she noticed that the living room lights were dulled down which made the candles on the dining table shine even more. The dining table was covered in rose petals with candle in the middle, there was also candles around in the room. After dinner they decided to take their wine over to the couch so that they could talk some more.

" so your dad still hunts? Like the kind of hunting that I read in my ascenders book, there's a story in there about how one of them found a pack of blutbaden feeding after a hunt" he said explaining what he had read, he could never image Mia hunting humans and then tearing them apart with her teeth like they apparently did

" that's what happens when we form packs we get more vicious. Anyways we kind of have an agreement where me and Monroe don't ask and he doesn't tell, thank god" she said not sure if she could handle hearing about those kind of stories

" that's kinda like me and mom, she likes to ignore the way I like being a Grimm I.e not killing every wesen I meet and I like to ignore her way" he said leaning forward towards the table so that he could refill their wine glasses

" that's how it is when you disagree with the old ways of life, I can't just do something because my ascenders did. That doesn't make it right, just outdated you know?" She said as if she was reading his head and heart, every time she said something like it made him fall harder for her

" you're amazing you know that, it can't be easy to do what you do" he said moving closer to her as he swept a piece of hair out of her eyes

" no but I've been doing it for so long that it feels like second nature, although I do still lose control now and then" she says softly as if ashamed that she didn't have her wesen side completely under control

"Then again everyone's a little wild or at least has a wild side" he said keeping his voice low and quite, trying to lure her in

" is that a hint for us to explore our wild sides together because I'm not sure you can handle my wild side" she said as put her leg on the other side of him so that she was on straddling him with her arms around his neck where as his were around her waist with one hand touching the small of back

" is that so? Well why don't we find out?" He said before gently kissing which she immediately began to welcome, his hand began to get tangled up in among her hair while her hands began to explore his shirt

Soon the kiss began to intensify as Nick pulled her close by gently grabbed her legs to press her up against his body, making her gasp out of a mixture of surprise and pleasure. After a while Nick moved back a bit to allow Mia room so that she could lay herself down on the couch, he then with the help of Mia took his shirt off before returning to kissing her as he towered over her. Their hands were exploring each other bodies while their tongues explored each others mouths, things were heating up fast not that either of them were complaining about the way it was going. Just as he was about take her top the door opened to reveal a shocked Juliette standing there as she took in the scene before as a shirtless Nick was tangled with another girl in their home

"I'm sorry I should have called or knocked, I'm just that used to walking in plus I wasn't expecting you know... this! I'm ummm I'm Juliette, Nick's really recent ex-girlfriend" Juliette said not sure what to do, she knew that it was a possibility that Nick might start seeing someone but it was another thing to see it in front of her

" yeah I figured that, I'm Mia and I should probably go to let you two talk" she said as she and Nick sat up on the couch as they take to collect themselves, Mia was looking around for her stuff so that she could make a quick exit

" no you don't have to, Juliette what are you doing here?" Nick said standing up trying to take control of the situation, he knew things could go down hill from here

" I needed to pick up some of my vet books that I left here when I was packing my things up, I had no idea that you would be doing this, I mean I knew that you moved on eventually but I was thinking maybe in like 4 months not 4 weeks" she said temporarily forgetting that they weren't alone as Mia sat there awkwardly

" ok now I really should go plus I need to get up early for school the next morning, its no big deal" Mia said grabbing her cardigan from the floor before heading to the door where her brown biker jacket and bucket bag were sitting

" oh are you still in school? Nick I had no idea you liked them young" Juliette said slightly bitter as she thought of Nick trading her in for a much younger version

" I'm a teacher actually and before you ask I'm 28" she said slightly snappy as she went towards the door before being stopped by Nick who gently held onto her arm to stop her from leaving

" hey I'll call you tomorrow ok?" he said feeling like he had some serious making up to do, he briefly thought about roping Rosalee or Monroe to get ideas for things to do for her. Mia gave him a small sad smile before leaving

" seriously Nick? she's looks like she should still be in school, what did you do? fall in love with the first girl you seen" Julette said once they were alone as thought began to fill her head

"Juliette you were the one who couldn't be with me anymore, you can't be surprised that this would happen and before you say it Mia isn't a one time thing ok? we're... well I'm serious about this, about her" he told her realising for the first time that he saw a real future with Mia, one where he didn't have to hide who he really was

" I broke up with you because I couldn't fully remember you and when I did all I remember was feeling like you were keeping something from me!" she said getting angery, to her it was him who was in the wrong for not fighting for them

"and what does that tell you Juliette, that out of three years together filled with memories all you can remember is the most recent bad ones" he said slightly glad that he was getting all of this out now

" it tells me that clear neither one of us should be rushing into new relationships, not when we're clearly still wrapped up in the last" she said as she walked past him to go upstairs where she kept her vet books, leaving Nick alone to think about things

The next day at work Mia tried to put everything that had happened during the previous night put of her head as she tried to focus on her classes as much as she could. She decided to dress more for comfort than for style, although in her eyes she still looked amazing in her own way. She wore a short sleeved normandy blouse, a white crop top underneath, high waisted peg trousers and a pair of brogues. Mia wore her wavy hair in low loose pigtails, simple black eyeliner to give her eyes more definition and a dark pink colour. Before lunch ended Mia grabbed herself a cup of coffee from the staff room then headed into her classroom where she decided to get things ready for next class which was a class of Juniors. She was in the middle of placing worksheets for that weeks assignment when she heard a knock on the door. When she turned to see who it was she was surprised to find Juliette standing trying to look intimidating but what she didn't know was that it was had to intimidate a blutbad

" Julette, what are you doing here? actually the better question is how did you know I worked here?" Mia asked as she gestured for her come in as she closed her door to prevent anyone who may be lingering in the hallways from hearing them

" It didn't take me long to find out where you worked, you tend to pick up a few things when you're a girlfri-...ex-girlfriend of a cop" she said as they both slightly winced at her slip up but for different reason

" that answers the how but the why, although I'm guessing it has something to do with Nick" she said fed up of beating around the bush, she wanted to know what it was that she wanted from her

" I wanted to warn you that a relationship with Nick isn't easy, I mean sure at first its all heat and passion but soon you'll realise he's keeping something from you and in the end you can't ignore that" she said partly speaking from experience and partly trying to make her paranoid

"expect I already know what he was keeping from you so..." she said leaning against her desk as she watched as Juliette take what she had just said

" he told you! why would he tell you who he barely knows but not me who he was dating for 3 years?" she asked more to herself than to Mia who felt like saying what was on her mind rather than be polite

" he didn't have to,I kinda guessed and I kinda already knew. Juliette whatever reason you came here fore whether it was to warn me for protection or due jealously, its not going to stop me from seeing Nick" Mia said being straight with her, she sensed this was about to ugly soon

"I don't have to warn you off of him, he'll see sense soon" Juliette said turning towards the door about to leave her bag before Mia spoke out as something occurred to her

"Juliette if he wanted to be with you then he would ok? and his secret isn't one that you can just blurt over the dinner table" she said trying to make her see that it might not be the best thing to pursue this

" this secret of his is a new thing and one part of him, don't fool yourself into believing that you know him" Juliette told feeling slightly sorry for Mia who she believed who end up heartbroken

" true but its a big part of who he is and a part that he can't deny, something I know a little about" she said before Juliette walked out of the room, leaving Mia to absorb what just happened before she quickly texted Rosalee to tell her

A few hours later when Mia found herself in the hospital after she had crashed her car into a tree when she swerved to avoid an animal on the road, she currently redressing herself since the doctor had finished examining her. So far all she had was a badly bruised and sprained wrist, although her whole body seemed to ache all over from the impact of the car hitting the tree. Just as she was about to her blouse on the curtain shielding her bed from the others in the room was pulled open by none other than Nick. He looked terrified and like a scared little boy as he mentally checked her for any serious injuries despite already being told by the doctor seconds ago

"hey I just found out about the accident, I got here as fast as I could. Why didn't you call me?" he asked as she put on her blouse with little ease before sitting back on the bed with her legs crossed as he stood in front of her

" it was nothing really, I just got into a little accident trying to avoid an animal so no big deal plus I didn't want to bother you" she said in a small voice as she played with her fingers and avoided eye contact with him

"you wouldn't have been bothering me Mia, I was worried about you" he said going closer to her so that he could cup one side of her face

"but I didn't want you to or at least make you feel like that you had to be here" she said rambling slightly knowing that if she didn't say this now then she would lose the guts to later

"what are you talking about?" he said realising that she wasn't making sense anymore, he briefly wondered if she had head injury

" Juliette came to see me at work today and she seemed pretty sure that you guys were getting back together" she said trying to keep her tears in as she had what seemed to one of the hardest conversations ever to have

"wait she did what? she had no right to do that!" he said slightly annoyed that she seemed to everywhere right now ruining whatever was going on between him and Mia

" I don't care that she did, just what is going to happen between us as a result of it" she confessed as she got straight to the point which was one of the things he liked about her

" nothing is going to happen, that was in the past and right now you are very much my now" he said quietly since he could tell she was able to the noble thing expect he didn't want her to do the noble thing

" but -" she said about to begin to argue with him till he saw where she was about to say so he decided to step in and stop her

" but nothing if I say it's over then it's over so if I want to come to he hospital to make my girlfriend is ok then I will so are you?" he asked trying to get her from the subject of Juliette

" yeah pretty much, the doctor said that my wrist is badly bruised and sprained but not broken so he's just strapped it up" she said not totally convince that Juliette would go away that fastly

" Hey Mia, I got you a cup of hot chocolate with all of your favourite toppings on my way here...Oh hey Nick" Monroe said entering her curtained make shift hospital room holding two takeaway cups from Starbucks

"you called Monroe but not me?" Nick asked trying not to read too much into the fact she didn't call in at time that she could have really used him

" well he is my brother Nick and my emergency contact and honestly it was just easier to call him" she said standing up as she attempted to put her boyfriend blazer on with the help Monroe

" easier? Mia this is all her ok? I lo-like you, please don't do this" Nick said all but begging her as they all ignored his little slip up or at least tried to

"I'm not doing anything, I am exhausted...I just want to go home to sleep this off and shower " she said tiredly, feeling like this had to stop eventually plus she had enough

"Mia, why don't you go to the car and I'll meet you?" Monroe said to his sister since he sensed that he should probably talk to Nick alone, give his sister a rest as she grabbed her things and left the room

"Monroe I swear she is reading more into this than there is, how do you get through to her?" he asked his friend rather than the brother of the girl he liked for some much needed advice

" she's stubborn thats for sure but right I think she might just need some time, why don't you come around for the game tonight? Bud will be there" Monroe said trying to do what was best for both his sister and his best friend as Nick nodded to let him know he'd be there

Monroe drove Mia home since her car was in the garage being repaired as it had been damaged slightly during the crash, he could tell she was exhausted but he just wasn't sure what had tired her out the most the Nick thing or the crash. Once he got her home he went into her kitchen to make her some tea to calm her down while made herself comfortable on the couch by taking her shoes and jacket off. When the tea was ready he walked over to the couch then placed the cups on the coffee table before pulling her into a much needed hug.

" talk to me little sis, whats going on in that insane head of yours" he said gently knowing that she just needed to talk it out

" why couldn't I be normal and date a normal guy who didn't have a complicated ex? or why couldn't I be a normal blutbad and find a nice blutbad guy to date rather than a guy who's ascenders have killed the majority of our kind?" she asked knowing that it wasn't about him being a grimm or her being a blutbad

" but you're not normal and neither is he and if you weren't a blutbad then I'm guessing that you still wouldn't be normal" he said smilling as he gave her shoulder a small squeeze to comfort her

" am I over reacting?" she asked looking up to him, this is why she liked being his sister she knew she could go to him about anything

"no I mean if you feel like it is a big deal then it probably is but you should talk to Nick and hear his side of things" Monroe told her knowing that Juliette's sudden appearance had to be hard for her

"its just that I like him so much already and now I feel like it's slipping away from me" she said cuddling more into him as she admitted her feelings

" see now I feel like I should protect you from him and have the brotherly talk with him, I don't want you to get hurt over this" he said knowing that he might not forgive Nick for breaking her heart

"He's still your friend Roe, no matter what happens... Would you mind if I went to sleep? I'm suddenly really tired" she said yawing as she lay her head on a cushion on the opposite side of the couch with her feet resting on Monroe's lap

" yeah of course get some sleep, I'll wait till you're asleep before leaving then maybe stop by..." he said trailing off at the end when he realised that Mia had already fallen asleep, she always looked so young when she slept it remind them of when they were kids

Monroe gave her a kiss on the head before leaving her apartment to get ready for their boys night, he had asked Bud to come to his for the game as a way to cheer up Nick but to also distract him for his obvious and very complicated girl problems. He placed the chips and dips into the dishes then made sure that the beer was cooling, soon there was a knock at the door that turned out to be Bud. Monroe quickly explained what was going on before Nick got there, when he did Monroe noticed that his mood was little darker than normal. During the game Monroe and Bud were shouting at the screen at a miss pass

" he should have made the pass" Bud said pointing at the screen before taking a sip of his beer, he was currently wearing his green football shirt

" he should have made the shot, right Nick?" Monroe asked turning to Nick who he noticed was looking up to the ceiling staring into space, clearly deep in thought

" what?" Nick said confused to what was going on, he hadn't realised that he had zoned out but he couldn't get what had happened with Mia at the hospital out of his head

"see he agrees" Monroe said trying to cover for him so that they would hopefully avoid talking about whatever was on his mind

" no he doesn't, he's not even watching the game" Bud said pointing out the obvious while missing the hints form Monroe to drop it, he didn't want to get caught in the middle of him and Mia

" I'm watching the game" Nick said pretending to be a part of their guys night that he knew was a way to make him feel better, even if it seemed impossible

" really? who's playing?" Monroe said deciding to challenge him on this, he wasn't sure if it was the Juliette thing or the Mia thing that was bugging him the most

" the timbers" Nick said confidently since it was the team that they all supported plus it was timber scarves and shirts that they were

" and?" Bud asked already knowing that he didn't know who the timbers were playing, any randomer would guess the same just by the look of him

"I have no idea" he said giving up the pretence as he took a big drink of his beer before sitting back on his chair, he had had enough of it all

"at least Mia wasn't hurt in the accident thankfully and I really do think she was just tired with everything that had happened, she fell asleep as soon as she got home" Monroe told him hoping that it would bring some kind of comfort to know she was okay

" yeah I guess but it doesn't stop me from worry about her, plus I wish that was the only thing on my mind right" he said half mentioning the sudden elephant in the room between him and Monroe

" I was going to say something, I mean in a way Juliette is being selfish by not letting you go. Its like if she can't have then no one can which isn't fair on anyone involved" Monroe said thinking about all of the people could get hurt as well as the fall out it could cause

" I thought we were supposed to be cheering him up" Bud said in a slight whisper, thinking that maybe Nick couldn't hear him despite him only being a short distance away from him

" I know but he has to face the-" Monroe began to say that Nick had to face the amount of damage that this could create which the slightest wrong move

" what! what do I have to face? that I have this in incredible girl that I just met while my ex is just decided that she might want me back" he said hating how this all made him feel, it was all too much for him to handle

"wait? Juliette wants you back? when did she say this?" Monroe said as his interest suddenly peaked, he knew that before Mia Nick would done anything for Juliette to reconsider their break up

" she mentioned that we wouldn't be happy with anyone but the other one while we still had feelings for each other and then she told Mia that I would see sense soon" he said leaning forward as he tipped the rest of his back, he had feeling that it wouldn't be his last

" and do you? Have feelings for Juliette i mean?" Monroe said hoping that he already knew the answer to that or least hoped that he wouldn't hear the one that would cause Mia the most pain

" yeah I do i mean we were together for 3 years, those kind of feelign don't just go away over night but what I feel for Mia is different and so much better in so many different ways" he said smiling as he thought about the things that eh loved about her Mia like her big brown eyes or long wavy hair or the way her smile seemed to brighten the room up

" then I think you might have your answer over who to pick between Mia and Juliette but I swear if you hurt my little sister you will see the real big bad blutbad that I used to be" he said warning him not to mess her around anymore

" wait? what are you going to doing about Mia? I mean you are going to do some serious apologising to make up for all of this" Bud said knowing that if it were his wife then he would need to buy her flowers and do some serious grovelling

" I have no idea, I mean maybe I could buy her some flowers or do something to show her how I feel" he said wondering how many times he was going to need to ask her for forgiveness

" here do this and she will have no choice but to forgive you, although I wouldn't mention that I told you" Monroe said as he wrote down some instructions for him to follow as well as items he would need

The next day after his recent wesen case had finished he went to all the correct places to get the stuff that Monroe had told him to get before heading to Mia places to find that no one was home. Although according her neighbour who was an elderly lady, Mia had went out an hour or so ago to get some groceries and would probably be back soon. Eventually Mia walked up the stairs to her apartment carrying two paper bags filled with groceries and one red canvas shopping bag. She was wearing a red tshirt that said 'a unicorn made me do it', a pair wide black pants, a pair of red strapped flats and a dark grey hoodie. Mia had her hair in a messy loose braid at the side of her hair with strands of her hair falling out, she wore light eye make up and light red lipstick.

" Nick, seriously? I'm not really in the mood for whatever this is" she said as he took her keys so he could unlock her door for her then took the groceries off of her since he was worried about already damaged wrist

" I'm not here start the whole Juliette thing again, I'm here to say sorry for all of it and a little birdie told me that these would do the trick" he said handing over the bouquet of sunflowers which were her favourite flower and a box of red velvet macarons and another filled with rainbow coloured macarons

" Monroe told you these were my favourites didn't he? you don't need to butter me up" She said as gestured for him to leave the groceries on the counter while she took one of them, she noticed it from her favourite bakery

" I know I don't but I needed to talk you, I realised last night that although I do have feeling for Juliette they are nothing compared to the one I feel for you" he said as they moved to sit on the couch and sat close to each other

"so are you saying that you're done with her? because I can't deal with complicated ex drama" she said being honest as she lay her face on his arm which was draped across the couch, he ran his hand through the loose pieces of her hair

" yeah well as done as I can be without being rude but you're the girl for me not her and I want be with you not her" he said before leaning to kiss her, this kiss was softer than their other kisses

"so what now?" she asked once they broke apart,she felt like they couldn't go back to being a carefree couple since it wasn't exactly who they were

" well we could always continue what we were doing the other night before we were so rudely interrupted" he said suggestively as she smiled the smile that seemed to made him melt all over again

" remind me where were we?" she asked pretending that she had forgotten everything for that night as they both looked amused

"hmmm I think you were here if I remember correctly" he said as he gently guided her so that she was now straddling him as they both begin to laugh

"oh yeah now its all coming back to me, I think I did something like this..." she said as she began to kiss him as he pressed her close to him, feeling the need to have her close to him
