The love we have had
A/n: Hello minna! Hehe *Scratches back of the head* anyways, enjoy!
chapter 2
Tsuna curiously looked at the envelope in his hands. Could it be...?
'What does she want to tell me?' Curiosity aside, he slowly opened the envelope only to see to things inside.
An invitation and a... letter?
'This must be something important that she wrote it on paper. Oh, well.' he began to open the letter. Scanning it carefully, his eyes widened.
- The love we have had -
Tetsuya was a little startled when Hibari suddenly stood up.
"Let's go."
Knowing what he meant, he silently followed him. He sighed soundlessly. Even if the future they had went to never happened, and that Byakuran was helping himself not to be tempted to use his power, all went well. But then... he knew, even if that wouldn't happen, he'd still continue his patrol. He sighed once again.
"What are you sighing for?" he suddenly heard Hibari said.
"Nothing, Kyo-san."
"Hn."
...
"I'll leave the rest to you." with a nod, Hibari left.
- the love we have had -
As he opened the door, he was greeted by cool air and silence.
"Hn." Exactly the place he was looking for.
He slowly laid on the cold floor, feeling the soothing coldness against his skin. He slowly closed his eyes. He wanted to nap... but it was cut short as he heard familiar laughters resonating in the air. Shifting to the side, mildly irritated, he just continued his nap, not letting even the laughter bother him.
Whoever those people are, if they get any louder in the Hibari noise bar they would submit to him later...
- TLWHH -
Nearby the school, a few meters away, stood the local Namimori Park. A lot of children, with parents, guardians, even with their families are seen here. And since it was also summer, a lot of people come here. That didn't exclude even the families of the guardians.
Giggles and laughters resonated as each children, they had met there or not, were playing.
"They're so energetic, desu." a brunette said. Kyoko smiled.
"Here, Haru-chan." seeing the drink, she smiled gleefully.
"Thanks, desu~!" She slowly drank it. Chrome smiled as she sat with them.
"Ah, Chrome-chan, you must be thirsty as well." Chrome smiled and shook her head.
"No, Kyoko-chan, I'm fine." Even though she insisted, she declined the offer. Sighing, she gave up, setting the cup on ground. Knowing her, she'll drink it later anyway. They continued to look at their children with smiles on their faces.
Suddenly, Chrome remembered something.
"Kyoko-chan, Haru-chan..." she said.
"Yes?" they said simultaneously.
"What would it be like... with them here?" she said quietly. They grew silent.
"Ah," Kyoko smiled sadly, "I think it would be nice. But today... I don't think so."
"And why is that, desu?" Haru said. Kyoko looked wistful, grazing at an empty space beside them.
"Since they're not here." she answered as if it answers all the questions, "but... I kind of miss them..."
"Yeah..." they agreed, setting into silence.
"Mom!/ Mother!/ Okaa-san!" All of them snapped from their thoughts.
"Yes?" Kyoko said as her son came to her.
"Kuro-nii said that it might rain after a while so we need to go now." he said as he tugged her hands. "Hurry, hurry, Okaa-san!"
"Hai, hai." Kyoko said. The other kids came as well and helped them before going back.
"Ah, Kyoko-san and the others..."
"Yes?"
Her eyes widened as the basket fell from her hands, contents spilling on the ground...

Hibari's eyes snapped open, blood boiling as he felt a familiar presence. He abruptly stood up with tonfas out.
"Kufufufu, amusing as always, neh, dear skylark?" Hibari's eyes narrowed.
"Show yourself, pineapple." Mist appeared revealing Mukuro, twitching.
"Kufufufu..." he said. Hibari lunged forward. Sparks flew as tonfas clashed with trident.
"Fufu, dear skylark, I did not came here to fight." another tonfa clashed.
"Hn." and he slashed with his tonfa only to be parried by Mukuro's trident.
"Is that really all you would say?" Hibari smirked.
"Pineapple." Mukuro twitched.
"Enough of this, you robotic machine of a skylark. It's getting boring..." Lowering his trident, he ducked as a tonfa came flying to his head. He jumped away, a few feet away from Hibari. Mukuro gave him a lazy look. "She's here." and with that, he left in a blur of mist.
Hibari froze, dumbfounded...
- The love we have had -
"Ah, Kyoko-san and the others..."
Kyoko gaped a little, her basket sliding from her hands. The others looked surprised and unbelieving too, except for the children who looked at their mothers quizzically.
"Loke-san, is that you?" Kyoko asked, disbelief on her face. Loke just smiled.
"Ah, yes, Kyoko-san." he eyed the discarded basket and bent to pick up its contents. "Sorry for surprising you, Kyoko-san." Kyoko bent down and helped pick up its contents. After all food has been put back into the basket, Kyoko smiled at him.
"Iie, it was me being clumsy, Loke- san."
"Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?" he answered back with a smile. Haru and the others answered with their own "Hai, desu/ Hai" his attention turned to the kids who were looking at him curiously.
"Ara, who are these children? Are they yours?" Kyoko smiled.
"Ah, Loke-san, meet our kids. Kids, meet your uncle." she said.
"Hello, uncle. My name's Shiyo!" the youngest piped. He had a brown hair and auburn eyes and smiled brightly at Loke. He pointed to the brown haired kid with green eyes and said, "This is Haruto-nii" then he pointed to twins. "Kuro-nii" he pointed to the boy with amethyst eyes and blue hair "and Miku-nee." he finished, pointing to the boy's twin who had violent hair and blue eyes. "Piacere di conoscerti, zio"
"Piacere di conoscerti" Loke said as he smiled and ruffled each of their hair (except for Miku, whom he only patted affectionately). "How have you all been all these years?" he asked their mothers. Kyoko decided to answer.
"It's been fine but it would be much better if you guys were there. How about you guys?" she asked.
"It's been fine as well. She really misses you guys. Maybe later, I'll accompany you to her or even the next day." he said.
"Really?" Kyoko asked. She looked at Haru and Chrome, who smiled in return.
"Of course!" He smiled. He looked at his watch. "Ah, it seems time wants us all to separate once again. Are you perhaps going somewhere? Going home maybe?" Kyoko nodded. "Then is Tsunayoshi-san there?" he asked. Kyoko nodded once again. Loke smiled.
"Then allow me to help you ladies. I am heading there as well. There is a matter I must discuss with Tsunayoshi after all." he said as he carried the basket from Kyoko's hands and the mat Chrome and Haru was holding. They thanked him.
"Come on kids, let's go home!" Haru said.
"Hai!" they said.
- the love we have had -
Knock... knock...
"Come in." he said as he continued to stare at the papers he needed to sign. The letter and invitation was carefully placed at his drawer next to him. He sighed, hearing the doors open.
"Otou-san, tadaima!" his attention piped up, hearing his son's voice. He withdrew his sight from the paper in hand and placed it on his table. Knowing full well that Shiyo would come and make him carry him. Just as predicted, Shiyo jumped on his lap. "Otou-san!" he said. Tsuna chuckled, ruffling his son's hair.
"Okaeri. Had fun in the park, I presume?" he asked.
"Hai! We..." he continued to ramble about meeting new friends, and everything that had happened in the park, all a while giggling and making faces while doing so. Tsuna could only look at his own son in amusement. A soft giggle then was heard as Shiyo stopped his ramblings. Tsuna looked only to see his wife, Kyoko, looking at them adoringly.
"Shiyo, what did I tell you about just running towards your father's study? You know he's been busy." she said sternly, but Tsuna knew better. Her eyes hadn't hide the mirth she was feeling from the father-son bonding.
Tsuna just chuckled.
"It's fine Kyoko. I'm almost done anyway." he said. Shiyo left his lap, apologizing. He made his way on the sofa, and sat, looking at his lap guiltily. Kyoko sighed as she smiled apologetically.
Deciding to be the middle man, Tsuna spoke, "I take it, you two had fun today?"
Shiyo looked up with a smile, "Hai!"
"Though I propose, Tsu-kun that you come with us next time. Isn't it fun when Otou-sama is with us, Shiyo?" Kyoko asked.
"Hai! Come with us next time, Otou-san, alright?"
Tsuna chuckled. "Will do, Shiyo."
After that, the child's eyes sparkled. "Yatta! I'll tell nii-sama and nee-sama tachi about this!" and he left the room...
Setting aside the papers, Tsuna stood up from his table and went to Kyoko, giving his wife a peck on the cheeks.
"Sorry for today, Kyoko."
"It's fine. And anyways, I brought someone with me today."
"Hmm? Enlighten me, dear wife." he said, "I missed you." he whispered on her ear, lifting her head to kiss her when a cough interrupted them.
"That would be me, Tsunayoshi-san." Tsuna halted, eyes widening as he saw the man standing near the door. He coughed, letting go of the blushing Kyoko.
"W-well, I'll leave you two to catch up." she said as she rushed out of the door. Seeing her leave, the man chuckled.
"You really are affectionate much with your wife. I see that still didn't change." Tsuna sighed, looking at his wife's silhouette from afar then glared at the man.
"Can't you not have picked a better time to interrupt?"
The man smiled innocently. "That aside, it's been a while hasn't it, Tsunayoshi-san?"
-blablabla -
Hibari snapped from his frozen state shortly after the pineapple left.
What?
He shook his head, walking near the ledge of the rooftop. Who was he pertaining to? Was it her?
His gaze made its way to the park where he saw his boss' wife with the others and the kids. He watched them for a while, face impassive. Bored, He yawned.
He can't be possibly talking about her. Stupid pineapple.
He made his way to leave the balcony when another figure joined his boss' wife. His eyes widened then narrowed.
Loke.
He was about to jump from the roof (nope, it's possible, he's HIBARI!) when suddenly, the doors opened.
"Kyo-san, the arrangements here is complete. Do you want to do something else before heading back?" he asked.
Giving Loke one last look, he let the idea of confronting him slide. He'll let him be for now, nevertheless, he will give him a 'visit' later on anyway. And for that, he'll need information first.
"Hn." and with that, he left the rooftop. Kusakabe could only sigh as he followed his boss.

Hibari looked slightly annoyed as he drove through the streets of Namimori. He was called a few minutes ago by his boss to come back, stating that they all needed to attend this meeting as important matters and an announcement would be made. Hibari hated crowding but he had no other choice but to comply. It was short, he stated. He'll have to stick to that, if not, he'd bite him to death, boss or not. A smirk made its way on his lips as he continued driving.
A few minutes later... at the Vongola Mansion...
He briskly made his way towards the meeting room. Even with those things he told himself. He STILL hates crowding.
He had gotten there early as expected, no one else was there yet. He slowly made his way towards the farthest seat available and leaned on the wall, closing his eyes. He hid his presence basking in the peaceful atmosphere. His mind drifting, he recalled what he saw a while ago...
*Flashback...*
He drove, his brow twitching a little. A few minutes later, he was slightly surprised, since the Giglio Nero bases here in Namimori which was a little close to the Vongola mansion, was full of noise. He broadened his senses, mentally noting that there was a lot of people who were inside, seeing as there were cars parked outside.
'Maybe it's their subordinates. Even so, if they get a little louder, I'll bite them to death for disrupting the peace.' He ignored them. But, that was not important right now. He needed to go back now. His gaze suddenly made its way towards the entrance. He blinked and looked back only to see Gamma with Yuni there. Didn't he see a person with blonde hair with them? He looked again but saw none.
Maybe it was his imagination or something?
Shrugging his shoulders, he continued his drive. He made a mental note to ask his boss something later.
*end of flashback*
His eyes suddenly opened when he heard noise coming from outside the door. They must be here now.
And then, the doors opened revealing the other guardians. They were quite arguing but lesser this time. Yamamoto continued to laugh off as Gokudera kept on yelling at him about anything. Lambo seemed to have just woken up from his nap. Ryohei entered next with Chrome and Mukuro, who 'Kufufu'd'. All of them made their way towards their respective seat as they waited their boss.
A few minutes later, their boss appeared with a smile on his face.
"Ah, sorry for being late. Shall we start the meeting already?"
-anotherlinebreak*sigh* -
It was really short, Hibari had to admit. They started with just asking with their recent missions and after telling them about the invite he received. Speaking of invite, so, they must have been planning to conduct the party here seeing as Yuni and Gamma was there a while ago and all those cars and subordinates going back and forth towards the car and inside the house. He made his way towards his room. From all the events that had taken place today, he needed rest. And a LOT of it.
- anotherblablabla -
"Ciaossu!" he heard someone said. sHe immediately looked at the window sill, and saw...
"Reborn!" Tsuna said. He was relieved as it was already lunch and they agreed to stay inside the classroom.
The said hit man just smirked as made his way towards Lucy.
Lucy, in the meantime was chatting with Kyoko to notice it.
"Kyoko-chan?" she asked. But, it seems that she wasn't listening anymore.
She looked at where she was looking and...
Bang!
Whip!
"Ah, nice to see you again, oji-san. A friendly greeting as usual." she said smiling. Reborn titled his fedora, hiding his face, but Lucy knew better.
"Tch. you've improved since the last time we met, Lucy." he said as Leon turned back into a chameleon. Lucy smiled when Leon began to make his way up at Lucy's shoulder, hissing and then sleeping. Tsuna and the others sweat dropped at this.
Then, something struck him. "Lu, you know reborn?" a smile made its way towards her face.
"Of course, Tsuna! He is after all my uncle!" she said smiling happily. Suddenly, she looked at Gokudera, who seemed to be deep in thoughts. She smiled, making his way towards him.
"Neh, Haya-kun, what are you deep in thoughts about?" she asked.
This seemed to make him snap back to his reverie.
"Ah, it was no- hey! Why did you call me Haya-kun?" Lucy's smile faded and was replaced by a frown before a smile appeared once again.
"Ah, has it been that long already for you to forget about me, Haya-kun?" she said sadly. Gokudera raised a brow.
"I'm sorry. Have we met before?" silence followed. No one dared to break the silence. All looked at Lucy's reaction.
"I'm sorry then. I must have, mistaken you for someone else. I believe I'll contact them soon later. Now, oji-san, why are you here?" she asked, changing the topic. It was a little awkward, to say the least.
"Nothing,. Just wanted to see you and that baka student of mine. Now, if y'all excuse me, I have another matter to attend to." he said.
"Okay oji-san! Just, don't overdo it." she said. A smirk was his reply before disappearing. Tsuna sighed in relief.
"Now, that's over, why don't we have lunch now? The bell will ring soon." they nodded as they continued their lunch.

"So, have you seen her?" a voice resonated around the room. Sharp silver orbs opened and narrowed as he looked around for the culprit.
"Show yourself. there's no point in talking to someone who is a coward to reveal himself." he said suddenly, mist had surrounded a part of the room and moments later, revealed Mukuro, with a smirk on his face yet you could see he was twitching. Hibari smirked inwardly.
"State what you must state as I have no intention in battling you today." he said. A chuckle was heard.
"It seems to me that you are weary. Too bad." He looked to see his expression but was disappointed to know that it had not even stirred off the skylark. "I guess I have no more reason to stay in this place so I must depart. It was nice chatting with you." before he could leave, he heard him mumble.
"Where exactly did you see her?" he smirked.
"Well, well, dear skylark, if you so badly want to know, I might tell you about it." seeing his reaction, he smirked wider. Who knew she would give this much of an impact on the skylark. It would be fun to tease him but that would be for later.
"Oh, she's..." he smirked once again before departing the said room.
