Mukuro left the room, leaving Hibari staring at the area where Mukuro had been standing a while back. Again, he closed his eyes, the nap he wanted oh so badly was to be cut off. Since this morning, at the rooftop, he couldn't help but think of her. Even as he closes his eyes…

Only HER.

... Why?

He didn't know.

Opening his eyes, a glint of determination lurked within. He wanted to confirm it.

If she really was here...

He stayed still, thoughts of her plaguing his mind like a parasite implanted by—he'd hate to admit it— none other than himself, though it also irks him that that pineapple had a part in it. But then again, his pride, his stubborn nature begs to differ.

If she really is…alive…

.

.

.

He stood up and left the room once again, a decision set in his mind.

After the talk with Tsuna, Loke strolled around the mansion. He smiled sadly as his mind wondered everywhere in sight. Too many memories were in these walls, this pond, this garden, the rooftop... the gates. It all came back to him as if a switch had switched on the lights on the memories he had kept in the dark. Good memories… Bad memories… He smiled, not caring. Why would he? His master always told him to look into the future, and not in the past.

"Loke, do not dwell too much on the past or the present. Look at the future only and think of what your actions will lead you."

His master sounded so wise at that time, and he felt proud. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice the figure ahead and bumped against the figure.

"Ah, my apologies." He quickly murmured, and looked up to the figure. His eyes widened for a bit before quirking a fake smile. "AH, fancy seeing you here, Kyouya-san."

"...Hn."

Silence filled the atmosphere. No one wanted to speak first. Loke was about to excuse himself and leave when suddenly, Hibari spoke.

"How is she?"

Staring dumbly at first, Loke recomposed himself and could only smile sadly.

"Well, she's feeling fine, as always. She is after all, my Master." Loke spoke in a protective way that even surprised himself. He had not intended for it to come out like that but he stood by his words. He patiently waited for an answer from the man but Hibari remained silent.

"If that's all you have to say, I'm afraid I have to leave now. Sorry for bumping on to you. Goodbye." and with that said, he left.

At the Giglio Nero Base, Japan...

It is already afternoon yet the Giglio Nero Base is still full of noise. The people were running back and forth, apparently busy on orders perhaps by their boss. In the middle of all this, a young woman was pacing back and forth. Yuni could only look at her, smiling like there was not a single problem in the world.

"Why isn't he here yet?" the young woman said, looking ready to pull her hairs out in exasperation. "Yuni, do you know where he went?" brown eyes looked at Yuni, who only smiled in return. She could only sigh. "Sure, sure. You not gonna tell me again. Rather, you might even answer me in riddles." At Yuni's chuckles, the young woman groaned.

Suddenly, the doors opened and then Loke appeared.

"There you are! Where have you been?" the young woman exclaimed, relief evident on her voice. Loke could only smile. He nodded at Yuni in greeting, who smiled in return. The young woman, Lucy crossed her arms. "Why won't you tell me? And what are you two hiding?" the two could only shrug.

"What are you doing here, baby?" Hibari said, not even bothering to look at the new comer. The question was left hanging in the air as the newcomer remained silent. As the silence seemed to stretch, he opened his eyes, looking at him. "Let me ask again: What are you doing here?" he said, slightly narrowing his eyes.

The newcomer finally showed up, quickly evading the incoming tonfa. He smirked.

"Feisty as usual, Hibari." He said, evading continually the blows coming his way with practiced ease. Hibari grunted a bit, irritation seeping in his demeanor. The figure jumped away a few feet from him, and landed beside the ledge of the window.

"Maa, listen first to what I would like to say." Black obsidian eyes peered from under a fedora. Hibari halted, lowering his tonfas.

"Hn." He hid his tonfas from wherever they came from and crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm not interested fighting an opponent who won't go all out. You owe me a fight, baby."

Reborn smirked. "Some other time." He answered. "Maa, for starters, I might as well answer your question earlier." he said, looking over Hibari. Hibari said nothing. Reborn knew he was waiting for what he had to say. "You might as well know about it but if ever something happens to her, something might happen." With that said, he left.

Hibari stared blankly at the spot where the person was before. He turned away with disdain. Who could he be pertaining to? The new girl?

The next day...

At the Giglio Nero Base, Japan...

The sun was shining brightly, the sky cloudless for once and the town was bustling up to life. A typical day in the daily life—

And the start of another hectic day...

A blonde haired woman sighed heavily in contrast to the yawn that usually starts the day of a normal person.

"Lu-chan, good morning!" the blonde, Lucy, turned around to see Levy, her blue-haired best friend, smiling brightly at her.

"Good morning, Levy-chan." she greeted back, a smile appearing on her face. "Are the others almost finished yet?" Levy nodded.

"Yup! They're almost done. A few hours later and they'll be finished. Why are you asking, Lu-chan?" she asked.

"Nothing. I just wanted to ask about it. So, do you know anything of where Loke went yesterday?" Lucy asked. Levy shook her head.

"I'm sorry, Lu-chan. I don't know." she said apologetically. A sigh escaped Lucy's lips. So no one really knows other that Loke and Yuni?

"No, it's alright." she looked back at Levy. "Hey, Levy-chan? Do you mind if we go out later?" she asked. Levy beamed at the prospect but slumped back afterwards.

"I would love to, Lu-chan. But, I have something to do later."

"Are you going out with Gaj?" A blush appeared on Levy's face and Lucy cannot say no more that she was used to it as her friend tried to hide it with waving her hands.

"N-No! T-That's not I-It." Lucy could only laugh as Levy pouted. Yep, that's the standard Levy reaction whenever it comes to Gajeel.

"Mou, Lu-chan~! Quit teasing me!" Levy whined. Lucy could only giggle.

Yup, it still was a typical day after all.

After a few hours...

"We're done!" everyone shouted with glee. Lucy, along with Yuni smiled at them.

"Alright, everyone, thank you for the good work. Why don't you all rest for a while?" Lucy said. After sending them to rest, the two went to Lucy's room or precisely, Yuni followed her into the room. She frowned a little when Lucy slung a handbag over her shoulder.

"Nee-chan, are you going somewhere?" she asked.

"Yeah. Do you want to come with me?" Lucy asked as she checked her hair in her mirror one last time. Yuni shook her head. "Maybe next time."

"Ok."

As she left her room and waved Yuni and the rest goodbye, she met up with Wendy. "Lucy-san, can I come with you?"

Lucy smiled. "Of course."

Outside...

"Ah, it feels good to be here again, don't you think so Wendy?" Lucy said as they walked the familiar streets of Namimori.

"Hai, Lucy-san." The teenager replied. Lucy smiled, humming a tune as they made their way towards the shopping district.

"Wow, I never thought that there would be changes here." She said, referring to the new stores in place at the market. Wendy nodded in agreement.

"Ne, Lucy-san, where should we go first? There are so many of them I couldn't choose…"

Lucy smiled at her, "Where else? Cakes sounds fine, don't you think?"

"Bye, Tsu-kun! Bye minna!" Kyoko said. She along with Haru, Chrome and the kids again... now accompanied by Kana Alberona (Yamamoto's wife) and her son Takashi, left. Kyoko insisted the others to come as well but they declined.

"So, where are you ladies heading to?" A voice said.

"Ah, Loke!" Kana said.

"Zio!" the kids except Takashi exclaimed.

"Ah, hello again. Kana, It's nice to see you. And, this must be Takashi?" Kana nodded, grinning as she ruffled the boy's hair. "The one and only." She said proudly.

Loke crotched down and smiled at the boy. "Hi, I'm your uncle Loke. Nice to meet you, Takashi."

Takashi smiled and nodded. "Piacere de conoscerti, zio." he said followed by a toothy grin, a reminiscent way of his father's smile. The boy had the same black hair like his father and brown eyes of his mother. Loke ruffled the boy's hair and stood up.

"So, as I was saying... are you heading somewhere?" he asked.

"Hai! We heard that there are different cakes at the local cake shop today and we planned to head there. Are you perhaps here to talk to Tsu-kun again?" Kyoko asked. Loke smiled.

"Yes, though I'm with someone today."

"Who, desu?" Haru asked.

"Ah, that would be me." A voice spoke from behind Loke.

"Ah, Yuni-chan!" Kyoko and Haru exclaimed. Yuni smiled.

"It's been a long time, hasn't it everyone?"

"Hey, Hibari, are you doing something?" Yamamoto asked from behind the doors of Hibari's office. Hibari ignored him, continuing on with his own stack of papers submitted by his subordinates. Kusakabe shook his head slightly as he opened the doors.

"Yes, Yamamoto-san? Is there something you needed with Kyo-san?" he asked as he looked at Yamamoto. Yamamoto grinned.

"Well, you see, Tsuna asked me to tell Hibari to come to his office. Sorry if I had intruded on his work or something." he said as he scratching the back of his head, a habit he seemed to still carry on from his middle school days.

Before Kusakabe could even could call for Hibari's attention, he abruptly stood up and walked pass them. Both men smiled.

"Oh well. See you later Kusakabe-san!" Yamamoto said and ran towards Hibari who was far away already. Kusakabe could only sigh. Hibari had left him a lot of papers to organize.

Oh, well.

.

.

.

"I've brought Hibari!" Yamamoto said as they both entered the room with Hibari. Yamamoto sat on the couch as Hibari made his way on the wall, leaning. Tsuna smiled.

"Thanks, Takeshi, Kyoya," Hibari didn't answer but Tsuna continued on, "we just need to wait for the visitors. Hayato, you can sit beside Takeshi while we wait." Gokudera nodded.

"May I ask, Tenth, who are we waiting for?" Gokudera asked. Tsuna could only smile, charmingly, looking at the door.

"Ah, they're here. Hello, Yuni, Loke." The said people emerged, smiling.

"Sorry for the wait, minna-san. It's been a while." Yuni said, removing her hat and bowed. Noticing the figure beside her, Gokudera frowned.

"And where's Gamma? A right hand man never leaves his boss unless instructed so." Gokudera asked.

"Ah, he's with nee-sama."Yuni answered. Silence filled the air as the guardians present and Tsuna watched Hibari for any reaction. Hibari looked at them with one open eye and closed them again. Yuni saw this and smiled.

"Yes. Nee-sama doesn't know about this yet… but she will." she just said.

Tsuna cleared his throat. "So, before we start to discuss the topic at hand... how you've been?" Tsuna asked.

"We're fine. It was a little rowdy but still it was fine. Byakuran comes often to visit. But, if you mean about that… it's already fine." Yuni said. Loke studied the people at present and frowned.

"Tsunayoshi-san, we have bumped into Chrome-chan and the ladies a while ago and… I do not mean to be rude but where are the others?" he asked.

"Ah, well, you see... Mukuro left a while ago saying that he has something to do. Ryohei went to the Varia Headquarters... I think that's about it." Tsuna said. Loke nodded.

"So, starting with the meeting, we are gathered here because I have been told that Yuni is going to announce something." Tsuna said.

"Hai, Tsuna-san." Yuni spoke up as Tsuna beckoned her to start. "Well,I assume you already know about the party to be held next month?" they nodded (except Hibari) Yuni continued, "Well, being the one to host many parties before, I just wanted to just to ask about your opinion on how we would held it. As you see, my mother or Gamma had been the one organizing the parties and I had also wanted to try it out. Since this is my first time hosting this party, I would like to ask your sincere opinions for the party to be a success." Yuni said.

It was true, a lot, or you could say every Mafia Famiglia are careful at hosting their own parties. One wrong move can cause a huge disaster and even the falling of your own Famiglia. Tsuna and the others nodded sympathetically, after all, all of them worked together in order for their own parties to be a success. Especially when they are Vongola and Vongola parties are never normal, being expected to be above all other parties with the grandeur and such.

"Well, all I can say is that with teamwork, you can make it a success. Since I had learned this from Reborn a few years back, it really did help me a lot." Tsuna answered sincerely. Yuni smiled.

"Well, it is true. Oji-sama does help." Yuni said. 'And I wonder why you didn't ask him for help instead.' Tsuna had privately thought at the back of his mind. "Anything else you might add, minna?" she asked. Gokudera opened his mouth to voice his opinions when Loke and Tsuna shook their heads at him, knowing Gokudera's overly complicated explanation. Loke might get it, but what about Yuni? Yamamoto voiced out his opinions also though not much of it was understood with the way Yamamoto explained with actions and sounds they did not get. Hibari as usual said nothing.

"Then thank you very much." she said.

"Well, if you need help, we could always help you in the preparations." Tsuna said.

Yuni clasped her hands together happily, "Maa, that would be a lot of help. Thank you very much." Yuni said.

"Now that's done, shall we discuss other plans now?" Loke said.

Somewhere...

"What do you think should we buy?" Lucy asked Wendy. Wendy, also hang up on deciding what to buy, shook her head in reply.

"I don't know, Lucy-san. All of it looks good to me that I cannot choose." Lucy huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. "How about you, Gamma?" she asked Gamma who was mumbling something about 'princess' and 'safety' and such. Lucy could only giggle and shook her head as she tapped his arm.

"Huh? What do I choose? Let's see." Gamma looked at all the delicacies, then back to Lucy.

"You know, it's hard to choose Lucy-hime."

"Then, miss, two of each, please." the lady to serve's eyes widened and hurried away telling her other companions. Lucy and Wendy could only smile as Gamma sighed and fished out his phone to call Nozaru or any of them to help them with what they bought.

Suddenly, the doors opened and Lucy's ears perked up at the familiar laughter. Her eyes widened, astonished and stood frozen on her spot. Wendy on the other hand...

"Ah, Kyoko-san... Everyone... long time no see!" Wendy said bowing. Kyoko and the others' eyes widened.

"Wendy!" In courtesy of the way girls always greet each other, Wendy was glomped down with hugs from the girl except Kana who only ruffled the girl's hair and Chrome who bowed in greeting. "Long time no see! What are you doing here?" Kyoko began to ask.

"Ah, we were looking for cake. And with the coincidence of everyone here, I think you might have been planning to do so as well."

"Hai, desu!" Haru answered.

"And we even brought the kids along." Kyoko continued.

"But by 'we', did you mean..."

"Hi guys!" Their eyes widened (except Kana) as it landed on the owner of the voice, Lucy. "Long time no see, ne?"

...

They stood there with wide and unbelieving eyes as if they have seen a ghost the children looked at their mothers with confused faces. "Mother?" Shiyo asked as he tugged his mother's skirt. Lucy pursed her lip, unsure of what to do. Just then...

"Alright. I've contacted the- ah, did I interrupt something?" Gamma entered.

"N-no! You didn't." Lucy said, looking away from the girls for a second. She was about to utter an excuse to leave when suddenly she was engulfed in a hug.

"K-Kyoko-chan? H-Haru-chan? C-Chrome-chan?" Lucy was surprised. After not seeing them for so long, she didn't know how to face them and she had often imagined of events if ever she were to meet them again. Not in this fashion, not in this coincidence. But it was sweet, in a way.

"We're glad to see you after so long..." Lucy felt tears running down her cheeks as she returned their hugs, and Kana patted her back understandingly. At this gesture, she felt more tears rush forth.

"Mom?" Lucy blinked as she saw 5 kids with them.

"Yours?" she asked them after they disentangled and she wiped her tears.

"Hai. Kids meet your aunt, Lucy. Lucy, our kids, Shiyo, Haruto, Kuro, Miku, and Takashi." Kyoko said. Lucy smiled.

...

"Wow, I never thought I had missed out a lot from you all." she murmured. The girls could only giggle (except Kana who only smiled.)

"Maa, Lucy-chan. There's a lot of time to catch up, don't worry." Kyoko said.

"Hai, desu~!" Haru agreed. Chrome and Kana nodded. Kids just sat, eating cake beside them.

"Ah, I know. You're going to the park, right?" she asked. "Or not…" she added when Kyoko and the others shook their heads.

"We're going home. I promised Tsu-kun. Do you want to come with us?"

"Of course!" Lucy answered. She turned to Wendy. "Wendy, are you coming?" Wendy shook her head.

"No. I'll be accompanying Gamma-san here. You can go with them Lucy-san." she said.

"You sure?" Lucy asked hopefully, a part of her a little nervous. She had thought Wendy would be there to accompany there at least. Going back to that place was still…

"You don't have to force yourself, Lucy-chan. we can go some other time." Haru said, noticing her uneasiness.

"A-ah. No. I'll go. Wendy, Gamma, you take care alright?" Gamma and Wendy just smiled and nodded.

"Then let's go." she said.

...

After a while...

"WOW! It's like nothing changed in here!" Lucy said as they entered the gates of the Vongola Mansion. Kyoko and the others smiled while the kids ran inside. Lucy and the others could only giggle.

"They're as energetic as Luka." She murmured. She shook her head. Kyoko and the others looked at her curiously.

"Who's Luka, Lucy-chan?" Haru asked. "I'd like to know as well, Lucy-chan." Kyoko said. Lucy just shook her head.

"It's Asuka, not 'Luka' Kyoko, Haru." she said. "Don't you remember? Bisca and Alzack's daughter? She's really quite energetic as them." She explained. "Anyways, shall we go inside? I bet the kids are already bored waiting."

'I'm sorry... but this is not the right time to tell you guys yet. I'm truly sorry.' she thought, not knowing someone had heard her thought.

Only him.

...

"Thank you for attending today, minna. You are dismissed." Tsuna said. Even without him still saying that, Hibari left. Loke sighed.

"Still the same as ever, huh?" he murmured.

"Do you mean Hibari? Yeah." Yamamoto said.

Suddenly the doors burst open and the kids went inside. "Papa! /Otou-san! /Oyaji!" each kid went to their parents except for Miku and Kuro for Mukuro wasn't there. Tsuna chuckled as he carried Shiyo.

"Hey. You're early than usual. Did you have fun going to the cake shop?" he asked. Shiyo nodded happily.

"Hai! And we met another aunt a while ago! She was so beautiful!" he said happily.

"Oh, what was her name?" Tsuna asked, intrigued.

"It's Aunt Lucy!" after hearing the name, all of their eyes widened before Tsuna's eyes softened.

"Is she here?" he asked.

"Hai! She's with Okaa-san and the others! Come! We need to see her!" he said pulling his Father's arm.

"Alright." He looked at them for permission, mainly at Yuni and Loke, who just shrugged. He sighed. "Shall we go and greet her?" he said, smiling.

...

Lucy was fidgeting.

She was nervous. Who wouldn't? She came back to the place where her past memories, both good and bad, were. It wasn't as if she was scared to see them but she was nervous because she isn't ready to face HIM yet. Kyoko and Haru who was the closest to her, as if sensing her distraught, placed their arms comfortably on her back.

"It's alright... Lucy-chan. There's no need to be afraid." Chrome said. Lucy could only smile weakly.

"I hope so." she murmured.

Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching. Her heart began to beat faster, because of nervousness.

'What should I do?' she thought. She braced herself and looked up when suddenly, someone hugged her. She tried to check who was it but all she was a familiar tuff of brown fluffy hair. Tears started welling up on the corner of her eyes.

"It's good to see you again, Lu." the man said as he broke the hug.

"Yeah. You to, Tsu."
