Hey guys so here is another chapter featuring Alexander and this time I tried to show that Mia can't switch the council side of her off so hopefully that worked. Like also please follow/favourite/review or pm me
chapter 17: disarm
After Nick and Hank's recent case that involved an old friend of Wu and aswang which turned out to be her mother in law after her baby in order to keep her slightly younger and alive, Wu had checked himself into a mental faculty after seeing the aswang. This is why the gang had decided to come together and have breakfast together so that they could discuss what to about Wu since he had seen a wesen but wasn't taking it to well as no one had told him what it was he had seen exactly, they had all come to Nick and Mia's place. Mia had spent the morning making baked goods for everyone so that they could have something nice and fresh to eat with their coffee, whenever she was stressed or worried about something she knew that there was nothing she really do to help she tended to bake a lot. She wore a teal lace crop blouse, a striped skater skirt and yellow suede pumps. She wore a fishtail braid beginning at the side of her head leading into a complicated braided bun that was held together with pins including feather hair clips, she wore a different colours of brown eyes shadow with eyeliner and natural looking pink lips. She walked into the dining room with a tray filled with cups of coffee of everyone, she placed a cup in front of each person before sitting back down next to Nick
"What are we going to do about Wu?" Hank asked knowing that they had to do something about the fact their friend was in a mental faculty because they haven't yet explained to him what he had seen when he went into his friend's bedroom to find her being attacked by a wesen
"You seen how he was, even if we did tell him he wouldn't believe us. He is not ready for all of this" Nick said picking up his coffee cup to take a sip out of it, loving the fact that he had been the only one that Mia had fully made since she knew how he took his coffee exactly
"All I know is, after I faced my first beast…" Hank said trying to explain how he felt when he first found out about wesen when he caused the wesen in the room to give them a look as if to say 'really' and were slightly offend by his comment
" Whoa, Hank…" Whoa, 're right here and you know that the wesen in the room outnumber everyone else right" Monroe said gesturing to the three of them around the table since three our of five of them were wesen, Mia had an amused expression on her face as she looked between Hank and Monroe
" Sorry, My first Wesen." he said correcting himself as not wanting to offend anyone around the table that he now considered a friend, he thought about this compared to before he knew about wesen
" Although some Wesen can be more bestial than others. I mean it depends on the person and their personality but yeah we're not all like that." Mia said knowing that she had a few wesen in her life time that would prefect the description of being a beast, where they allowed their animal side to take over
" You saw how messed up I was, put a few bullet holes in the closet and I couldn't sleep without my shotgun but once Nick and Monroe explained things it took a bit of getting used to. And now here I am" Hank said knowing that finding out that everything you once believed was all myth was in fact real and very much out there took time to get your head around
"thats because Nick was already your partner, you already trusted him" Rosalee said thinking that although Nick and Hank were close with Wu, he had no real reason to believe them when he was in a place that were constantly telling him that it wasn't
" yeah Rosalee's right, I mean if I wasn't wesen or with Nick then I'm not sure that I'd want to know about all of this" Mia said taking a sip of her coffee as she thought about her life would be like without the wesen element in her life or without Nick being a Grimm, she realised that it suddenly would become very boring
"But don't you think it would be better if you did?" Hank asked knowing that his life defiantly was since now he know what he was really up against whenever a suspect was wesen
" you know wesen just isn't for everyone" Rosalee tried to explain knowing that not everyone had the ability to deal with he concept of wesen and would probably be better never finding out
" She's right, its one thing to see a Fuchsbau or even a Blutbaden but to see aswang, I mean they scare even us. If that was your introduction into wesen then to be told that you didn't image things. It would be fry your brain, I mean I know I'm repeating myself but yeah it would totally fry your brain" Monroe said knowing that even the most prepared person wouldn't be able to handle being told something like that
" I agree I think we should wait to see how Wu responds to treatment, maybe he'll be ok" Rosalee said trying to be positive about it, as wesen they were always taught to keep what they were a secret because people sometimes reacted badly to the news
" And if he's not ok?" Hank asked still thinking that they should tell him the truth rather than allowing to him think that he was going crazy and admitting himself for treatment
" then we can come back to the idea of telling him the truth" Mia said trying to reassure him that it was still a possibility, one that hadn't been totally ruled out yet as she grabbed a cookie to pick apart and eat
After that Mia had to excuse herself so that she could get to work before the first class began so she grabbed her dark brown biker jacket and brown satchel bag that held her work things and her keys before heading to her car that had been recently repaired after its most recent break down when her parents had come to visit. Once she was at school she threw herself into her work until she got a text from Nick asking her to meet him at the spice shop due a possible wesen connection to his latest weird case. So during one of her free moments in between classes she decided to look up the recent news alerts to see if she could find out what it was when she noticed an article about a mummified Egyptian tomb. It was stated in the article that one of the scientist investigating the tomb had said that the corpse bore a resemblance to Anubis. In that moment everything suddenly became clearer to her, she knew that the likelihood was that they had discovered ancient wesen body that had been hidden for so many years. She also knew that it would only be so long till certain wesen organisation became involved with the situation. So when it finally came around to lunch time she quickly grabbed her things and drove to the spice shop as fast as she could to discover everything she could about the case Nick was involved in. When she got there Rosalee gave her a cup of tea as Nick began to lay out the photos from the corpse that he had collected at the crime scene.
"that defiantly isn't a Kehrseite" Monroe said looking at one of the photos that showed the corpse having abnormally large horn like ears that no human could have naturally
" Is it even possible to mummify a wesen if its in full woge?" Nick asked them as Mia kept her eyes on the picture closest to her, she tried to not make it obvious that she already knew a lot about what was going on or what she already had to be done
"I guess if the wesen was kept in a heightened state of fear or anxiety" Monroe said wondering how it might be possible to be do such a thing as Mia and Rosalee realised that the wesen might have been alive for the mummification process
" and the right drugs were used to preserve the woga" Rosalee said filling in the blanks that Monroe wasn't too sure on, drugs and herbal remedies were more her thing than his
" But once it was mummified it couldn't wake up right?" Hank asked wanting make sure that they weren't going to have to deal with a real life mummy, by this point he wasn't sure what to rule out in terms of what was a myth or not
" no when you're dead your dead, there's no coming back from that" Mia said finally speaking as she reassured him subtile that mummies and zombies and every other undead thing wasn't real or wesen related
" So its possible that this is a mummified Anubis?" Nick asked looking between the three wesen who were the closest people he had to an expert to all things wesen related, although each person brought a different thing to the table
" my bet would be that this is an Anubis which is more a type of wesen than a person, I'm guessing thats why there is a hieroglyphic of the Anubis on the side of the tomb" Mia said clearing somethings up for the two people in the room were less informed than the others, she could see Hank's head beginning to fill up with questions
" Wait Anubis is wesen?" Hank asked beginning was the question that was most relevant to their case at the moment, he knew by now that Mia wouldn't mind answering all of questions later
" yeah a lot of Egyptian gods were wesen, thats why we are depicted as animal like creatures on tomb walls" Mia said explain how things used to be different for wesen kind compared to how they were now
" way back when wesen were actually worshipped… Amun, Atum, Bastet, even Sekhmet… total rockstars literally" Monroe said sounding a little envious that back in the day wesen were well known and were even respected rather than living in the shadows fearing exposure like now
" The guard said that he was attack by something that looked like Anubis so they're still around?" Hank said wondering if this was new information for them or not, it was always unlike what they knew and didn't know more so when it came to Mia
"well yeah they're not existent if that's what you're thinking but it wasn't this dude, he would be dead" Monroe said gesturing to the picture of the Anubis laying in the tomb which was its final resting place
" which means that they had to be another Anubis in the room, maybe even too if they were trying to get to this guy" Mia said figuring that if she was right and they were doing what she thought they were then it had to be a two man job
"Well, this is one is a cold blooded killer with a political message" Nick said handing Mia who was in the middle between Monroe and Rosalee the picture of the hieroglyphics left on the wall by the people who broke into the lab. Everything she had been thinking was confirmed the moment she saw the photo
" not that I can read hieroglyphics but I'm going to have a wild guess and say this says 'I protect the dead'" she said causing the other two wesen in the room to react in shock while Nick and Hank tried to work out how she knew
" yeah how did you figure that out?" he asked her reminding himself that there was a lot he didn't know about her since she kept things relating to her time with council close to her so it was possible that she knew how to read this language
" It's the whole concept around of the wesen related group called the Beati Paoil. They dedicate their lives to the protection of wesen culture….There was a lot of talk about them among the trainees at the council, growing in that world a lot of anger wesen teenagers wanted to join their cause" she said feeling the need to explain how she knew so much about them, Nick couldn't help but noticed how emotional void and cold she sounded like she was purposefully keeping her emotion separate from this situation
" yeah it was created in the 17th century, they go after museum, archaeologic digs and even private wesen collectors if they're suspected of smuggling stolen wesen antiquities" Monroe said giving them more of an understanding of their background as a group, since not of all them had a personal understanding of them
" and right now I'm not saying I agree with their methods because I don't but if this is Anubis like I think it is then displaying it wogaed would be completely… vile" she said trying to come up with the word that summed everything that she felt about displaying a wesen body for everyone to see, no one would come to see it if it was human
" its immoral and sacrilege, this mummy is not only a part of our heritage but our ancestor" Rosalee said agreeing with Mia as she began to get upset at the thought of it being on show, almost mocking them
" Im sorry but we all kind of feel passionate about this" Monroe said glancing at Mia and Rosalee who were showing polar opposite expressions, Rosalee's expression was defensive where as Mia's expression a blank sheet of nothing which said a lot for her
" I guess its time to hit the trailer, want to come?" he said asking Monroe and Rosalee, wondering if they were busy with the shop or whether they could to investigate more since it seemed important to them
" we would love to but we can't, we have an appointment with the wedding planner so this big tall guy is stuck with me but keep us updated" Rosalee said giving Monroe an amused smile as she temporarily benched him from trailer related research
" Ok what about you, Mia? Are you coming to the trailer?" Nick asked her hoping she would say yes that he could get her on her own so that he could ask her what was going on in her head, for some reason she was suddenly hard to work out
" I can't, I have to head back to work before my lunch hour is over but let me know what you find or if you need me…. love you" she said giving him a small smile that never quite reached her eyes or the rest of her face as she watched him pick up his things before giving him a kiss as he left
" maybe we should inform the council" Monroe said suggesting to Mia and Rosalee who had dealings with the council in completely different manners, they also had different views on them since Rosalee feared the council where as Mia knew better than to fear people who hide behind others
" No, its all over the news so I'm sure that they already know plus if it really is the Beati Paoil then the more we keep out of it the better, agreed Mia?" Rosalee said trying to protect everyone when she noticed that the younger brunette was quieter than normal as she gathered her things
" yeah I guess so…I better head back before class starts" she said leaving before they could ask anymore questions or before Monroe began to work out what she was thinking since she knew that he was good at reading her like a book
Once Mia was in her car she threw her bag in the passenger seat next to her as she went into it till she found her phone. She then began to scroll through her phone before she found the number she had been looking for, it was a number that she had never used before but had for emergences like now. Mia suddenly realised once she had pressed it that it might not even be connected anymore since she had had it for so long. She was just about to hang up when she heard the voice on the other end of the call
"Hello who is this? how did you get this number?" the voice that belonged to unemotional and almost cold person said, she knew that once he realised it was her that his voice would become more gentle and kinder
" Alex, its meme…Listen you know I wouldn't be calling if it weren't important and you probably already know this but the Beati Paoil are in Portland as is a mummified Anubis body" she said avoiding the mirrors, she knew that on some level she was betraying Nick and others but there was a part of her that felt like this was the right thing to do
" Emmie, how did you get this number?" he asked knowing that few people had his number or even fewer knew he had one since it was only used for mission or used in emergences like this
" Come on Alex, surely you remember who was the best at computer hacking in class. If its online or on a computer then I can find it" she said keeping her voice completely void of emotion as she reminded herself that it was hard to forget the person that the council created no matter how hard she tried
"here I was thinking that you had forgotten everything you taught" he said realising that she must have hacked his bank account and saw his phone on it from there it would only better a matter of time she got the number she needed, he was more than a little impressed not that he would ever tell her that
" its hard to forget whats programmed into your brain but thats not why I called, I just wanted to let you and the council know that the Beati Paoil and a mummified wesen body were here" she said before hanging up her phone and placing it back into her bag, she took moment to compose herself before starting up her car and driving back to school
Throughout the afternoon Mia tried to keep her mind from thinking about how she had called Alexander after promising Rosalee and Monroe that she wouldn't get involved or how Nick would react when he realises she was the one who got not only the council but her ex boyfriend involved or what the council's next move would be. Despite finishing her classes over two hours ago Mia stayed behind in her classroom to avoid seeing Nick and to get her marking down, however when she decided that she could no longer keeping avoiding him she began to pack up her things and head down to her car in the parking lot. The parking lot was dimly lit with the few street lamps that were spread around the area so as Mia began to walk the small distance towards her car she felt as though someone was following her. So she waiting to get to her car to pretend to be opening it before turning around and attacking who it was by high kicking the person in the stomach, making sure she packed force in the small distance between them. Mia was also really glad that she wore her heels that day since it made her look tall and would hurt her attacker more.
" Geez Emmie… did you really just call me so that you could get in a free kick?" Alexander said as he began to recover from the sharp blow to the stomach, he knew that once again he had underestimated her by thinking that she would forget how to defend herself
" Alex? what the hell? why were you following me if you didn't want me to kick you?" she asked knowing that it no made sense since no one followed anyone in hopes that they would be kicked but her mind was still coming to grips with everything
"Seriously? I figured you might have know it was me since you called me to come here… is this you in teacher mode?" he said as he watched her throw her bag, he couldn't help but notice the cheerfulness of her clothes that she never had when she was at the council. Back then she wore mostly dark coloured which seemed to suit the most deadly parts of her
" actually teacher mode ended about two hours ago and I never would have called you if I thought it meant that you become a creepy stalker…. why are you here, Alex?" she said once she realised that once again she had slipped into the person she used to be with him and decided to get straight to the point as she removed all traces of emotion from her voice or face
" I want to talk to the Grimm and I figured you were the best person to come to who could make it happen" he said being honest with her, in the back of his mind he could hear DeGroot giving him into trouble for falling back into her trap again or for thinking he could trust her again
" his name is Nick….and I'm not totally convinced that you two official meeting each other is a good idea" she said realised that it would mean both her past and present who be crashed together while she watched on the side lines
" I promise I won't mention anything about us or about me trying to kiss you in Venice, I'll be completely professional" he said hoping that she would believe him as she weighed the pros and cons of doing what he asked of her
" fine I'll call him but let me tell him that I called you because he won't totally love that I did it" she said emphasising the totally in the sentence hoping that he would pick up the importance of it
" why did you call me if you knew he wouldn't like it and I can't imagine that Monroe would be thrilled either?" he asked her reminding her that he remember everything that she had ever told him about her past including her family while they were training
" Do you remember being taught about our wesen history and about the Beati Paoil? How they stressed how disgraceful it was for it to be displayed for the enjoyment of the Kehrseite-Genträger? When Nick told me about his case and showed me the pictures of the body, my head told me that the council needed to be involved" she said hoping that he would understand something that she didn't understand herself, it was like her head took control of her body
" I guess my Emmie is in there somewhere after all" he said knowing that that part of her was still a part of her no matter how hard she tried to get rid of it
" hey Nick its Mia… yeah I'm fine, I just need you to meet me back at the house as fast you can… everything's fine kind of, there's just someone who wants to see you… yeah ok… I love you too" she said not looking at Alexander as she said the last part since she knew that it would be slightly awkward saying I love you to her current boyfriend while looking at her old boyfriend
Once she had hang up the phone to Nick she told Alexander to follow behind her in his own car, on the drive to their house she tried to get her head sorted as it raced through a million thoughts at a time. She knew it was better to go to their house than to Monroe's and Rosalee's since it kept them out of it and kept the council from finding out that they were involved with Nick's Grimm business, they already knew Mia was in involved with Nick. She was glad that they arrived before Nick had as she began to place her things in their usual place and offered to make him something to drink. Mia was in the kitchen making them all coffee when Nick came through the door calling on her as he took of his jacket, not yet noticing that Alexander was in the living waiting to speak to him.
" Aw Nick its nice to see you again, we never officially met last time. I'm Alexander" Alexander said holding his hand out for him to shake it, although Nick gave it a stern distrustful look as Mia came rushing into the living with the cups of coffee.
" As in council Alexander who came to kill a nine year old boy? As in Alexander your ex boyfriend? What is he doing here?" he asked Mia not bothering to hide his feeling on him as he directed his question to Mia who had expected this from him
" yeah that Alexander and I called him to let him know about the Beati Paoil then when I get out of work he was waiting for me to talk to you" she said trying to calm him down since she knew what his reaction was going to be when he finally heard what she said
" wait you called him?! why would you call him, Mia?" he said raising his voice at her which made her more determined to get her point across, in her head calling him was the right thing to do even if it made no sense to her
"because this is about so much more than me or you or even him, this is about doing what needs to be done to ensure that mummy doesn't go on display and I called him because I know DeGroot would send him so I decided to cut out the middle man" she said knowing that she would anything to avoid talking or seeing DeGroot, she would rather talk to her sworn enemies than to him
" she's right and I need your help in doing that" Alexander said keeping his cool mask on as he realised that he and Nick were complete different people who's only real connection was to each other was through Mia
" I didn't realise that the council ask Grimms for help" he said his voice still cold towards him as he considered what Mia could have found attractive about him enough to date him for so many year before reminding himself that she was 12 when she first started to date him
"It depends on the circumstances and the Grimm" he told Nick who reached forwards towards the tray Mia had placed onto of the coffee table to grab a cup of coffee, he felt the need to do something was with hands rather than punch Alexander which is what he wanted to do
" Well, what is it you think I can do for you?" he asked with a half amused smile on his face, trying to work out what game he was playing with him and where Mia fitted into all of this. Something was telling there was more going on than either of them were telling him
"The Beati Paoil I assume that Mia has informed you about them, are you aware that the man you are after is a member?" he asked beginning to pace around the small space around them, trying to very advantage over him that he had.
"Karl Herman and I don't care what group he belongs to, he's a murder" Nick told him making it clear that he wasn't going to let someone walk away free after committing a crime like that, he knew that Mia would agree with him on that point
" The council has never condoned what the Beati Paoil does and they don't usually get in their way. Although like most wesen they feel strongly about wesen remains being in display since its disrespectful and can cause expose to our community. Which why the council want him stopped" Mia said feeling the need to speed it up and explain to him why the council needed his help rather than allowing them to keep doing this little dance they were doing
" If you came here to kill him then I'm just going to tell you right now that I am not going to let that happen and I know for a fact that neither will Mia" Nick said proving to him that he knew her better or he at least knew who she was now, where as Alexander was clinging onto the girl she used to be
" He's right, I may agree that something has to done about this but I don't agree that the answer is killing the guy" she said taking a sip of her coffee, she knew that this was difference between Mia and Emmie. Emmie was taught how to kill and that killing on behalf of the council was right for everyone involved but Mia refused to kill or harm anyone especially an innocent
"We know, thats why the council wants you to stop him which is why I am going to tell you everything I know. Karl Herman will may another attempt" he told them as something occurred to Mia so she decided to speak up, she knew that there was something going on here that he wasn't likely to tell them
" and you know this how, Alex?" she said using her nickname for him without realising it, although Alexander knew and gave Nick a trumpet look as if he had won her heart while Nick's heart gave a tight squeeze
"because he called the council for help in stealing it tonight, however I told him that he had violated council law by killing the guard which is a capital crime " he said as he watched Mia almost facial expression turned to one he knew all to well recently, it was one of anger and hate
" you want me to kill him? did you know that this the kind of help he needed from?" he asked Mia, however her cold hard glaze never moved away from Alexander as she tried to come up with a reply that summed up everything she wanted to say to him while also remaining calm what
" You should have told me that you wanted him to kill this guy which is why you didn't right? Because if you did then you know I would have hit again but this time on purpose. Why is it when the council see people they see killers-to-be?" she said putting her cup down to look more threatening than Nick had every seen her be, he would have thought it would be hard to find someone so small and in bright colours to be intimidating
"Emmie, you're dating a Grimm and killing wesen is what they do best" he said using her nickname making her get even more annoyed him as he began to walk towards the door before Nick stopped him
" I am not going to execute him for the council and her name is Mia or Emilia to you" he told him for the first time using Mia's real name rather than by the shortened version she preferred to be called, he felt as though he was winning the unavoidable fight between them in deciding who was better for her
"He needs to be dealt with and soon, I believe he is going to ask Professor Gates for help whether or not she's willing to give it. You don't have much time left and neither do I, I have a plane to catch. Good Luck" he said before leaving out of the front door causing Mia and Nick to exchange a look to confirm that they thought that was weird
"you know what I'll be right back, there is something I need to do before Alexander goes back to the council" she said grabbing her biker jacket from where she left since it was still a little chilly outside
" like what?" he asked wondering what she could possible need to do that she would need Alexander rather than him, especially after what he had just him to do on the behalf of the council
" like punching him" she said with a sweet smile before closing the door behind as she headed to where Alexander had parked his car when they had first arrived, she then climbed into the passenger seat
" do you he believed it?" he asked turning to her as he took comfort in the fact that Nick couldn't see them from the living room which he had checked before Nick got home, this was something they had planned on the way there
" yeah I do and I know what his next move will be so what's ours?" she asked hating that she willing him behind Nick's back and that she was also using Nick as a pawn as she played him by making him believe that the council really wanted him to kill this guy
" I'll call you when its time to collect the remains then I'll come and pick you up" he said before she existed the car and headed back inside the house where Nick waited for her to check that her hand was ok before beginning to call everyone
As Nick began to tell the others what had happened with Alexander as well as asking Hank to do some police related things like an apb on his car, Mia decided to head upstairs to get changed since she couldn't move all that fast in her heels and a skirt. Mia now wore a pair of slightly distressed jeans, a navy blue v-necked t-shirt, a grey hoodie, a black leather biker jacket and black combat boots. She combed her hair into a messy wavy high ponytail, her eyes were lightly smoked and she wore a soft pink coloured lip gloss. She waited till Nick left to meet the others, making an excuse as to why she couldn't help him or help Monroe and Rosalee with whatever they were tasked with. She knew it was wrong to lie to him and to deceive him but she was hoping that he would be able to see the good intention she had when she went through with it. Finally Alexander called her to tell her it was time for them to do their part of the plan since Nick was unknowingly doing his part, after he came to pick her they pulled up behind the university where the mummy was being kept. Eventually after a minor struggle Mia and Alexander were able to get the mummy into his car, just as they were about to drive away Nick stood in front of the car preventing them from driving away.
"this can't be good…. hey Nick" she said as he slide into the backseat of the car, he gave a look that told her that he was less than please with her involvement in this whole thing before he turned his attention to Alexander
" Alexander, you mind give me and Mia a minute? don't bother trying anything because my partner is right the corner, watching your every move" he said as Alexander did what he was asked and got of the car to wait a short distance from the car as Nick climbed into his now vacant front seat next to Mia
" before you say anything, I can explain" she said knowing thats everyone said in these situations but for once it actually applied to her, she knew that deep down she felt like she was doing the right thing
"so you were taught to be a thief" he said to both them, he still had no idea what it was she was taught or what the council aimed for these children to become when they became their agents
" among other things, none of them are particular goods things or law abiding" she said with a slight eye roll, she wasn't sure if this eerie calm he was doing was comforting or worse then if he were to yell at her but she tried to match his mood and tone
" You lied to me" he said as more of a statement than a question she decided to answer it as it were one because at lest that way he would know the truth behind her actions. She could hear a trace of hurt in his voice as he spoke
" yeah I did, that was the only to get you do to what we needed you to do" she said honestly hoping that he would figure out that she would have taken another option if there was one but in that moment lying to him was their own choice
" you mean give you two enough time to get the Anubis out?"he said giving the mummy in the back a slightly nod with his head as she gave it small glance before pulling the sleeves of her hoodie over her fingers as she bit her lip something she only did when nervous
" you got your guy, it seemed like a fair trade at the time" she said thinking that it still did because everyone in some small way got what they wanted, although she knew that it caused a few issues between her and Nick
" you should have just told me what you were planning Mia, rather than trusting him and going behind my back?" he said finally raising his voice slightly as he finally showed the cracks in his calm armour as she began to relax a little at the sound of him finally showing some emotion
" there was no guarantee that you would have agreed and we couldn't risk that, if we did then the human society would have learned more about the wesen community than we ever wanted them too" she said trying not to think about would happen when they learned that wesen were around them, she imagined in this day and age that they would prodded and probed like an old fashioned interrogation from a Grimm
"I still haven't! technically that mummy is evidence, not to mention been all over the news all day" he said trying to show that making disappear was the answer either, people were bound to ask the kind of question they didn't want asked

A short while later as the sun was coming up the gang and Alexander stood on the side lines watching as the Anubis's burned on top of the wood, soon all four of the wesen watchers went full woga in a mark of respect.
