Next Chapter.
Colours: Pink
Marriage. That was the thing running through Korra's mind now. After telling Tenzin and Pema of her situation Korra felt relieved. But it didn't take long for stress to consume her once more. The idea of marriage was stressing her out and telling her parents made her want to scream. Korra sat up in her bed and hugged her knees to her chest. She buried her head in her knees and cried. These tears stung as they fell from her eyes and streamed down her face. She sobbed silently until she fell asleep. When she did fall asleep, she dreamed...
"Korraaaa."
Korra opened her eyes and saw she was no longer in her room, but instead in a living room of what looked like a hut. Uncertain of her surroundings, Korra hopped up and stood in her stance, ready to defend herself. But instead let her guard down to tend to her side.
"Koraaaa."
Korra looked around for the person calling her name but instead of seeing a person, she saw a cute, pink bunny. At first she was confused and decided it wasn't the bunny.
"Well...I guess its just you and me here. But you can't be calling my name...bunnies don't talk unless they're spirits. You my friend are not one of those."
Korra laughed but her laugh was cut short when someone attacked her from behind by putting their hand over her mouth and their other hand over her eyes. But the strange thing she noticed about the hand before it covered her eyes was pink. Korra struggled to get free but her strength was diminishing, she was very weak. She soon stopped struggling afraid for her and her baby's life. But was calmed when she heard the voice of someone familiar.
"I love you Korra. I love you Korra. I love you."
The hands disappeared and Korra looked around to find her lover but couldn't. Instead she noticed she was in the middle of the snow. It was cold and very hard to travel through the virgin snow. Holding her side with one hand, Korra treaded through the snow. Barely three feet from her starting point, Korra fell and couldn't get up. She laid there for a moment and tried to get up but fell right back down. Her eyes closed and when she opened them again she was staring at something she couldn't name. Instead she reached her hand out and felt it. It was rock hard and warm. She also felt warmth and something holding her close to this object. She looked up and saw Mako's face. He was asleep and holding her close to his bare chest. Korra smiled and buried her head deeper in his chest. And as she closed her eyes she saw a flash of pink...
…...
She sat straight up in bed. She didn't even remember falling asleep but she realized she had. But there was one question on her mind. Why the color pink? Korra looked down at her stomach. She patted the bump softly and smiled.
"I know the color pink isn't for you. Aang made it clear that you were a boy."
"Yes I would say so."
Korra looked up and saw Mako standing at the door. He smiled but then it faded as he walked closer to Korra. She noticed this and watched as Mako laid the newspaper in front of her. She picked it up and burned it with fury.
"We need to go. Now."
Sorry. Gotta end here. But what do you think the paper said? Leave any questions or comments in the reviews. I'm always open to new ideas. And these colors are important. They will be in the next few chapters.
