Look I'm back. Well I never left but...please go follow First Love- Teenage Love for me. And please leave your answer to the following question and opinions in a review.
Do you watch/ read Attack on Titan? Would you read a story where Legend of Korra and Attack on Titan cross?
I'm trying to get ideas because I really want to make a crossover of Attack on Titan and Legend of Korra. It may sound dumb but please answer the question and leave your honest opinion. And if you don't know what Attack on Titan is...go look it up...or don't. But its a great anime show/ manga comic. Okay so here is...the story behind the necklace.
Mako followed Tonraq through the snow for what seemed like hours. He was happy that Tonraq had finally accepted him as his son-in-law but he was still nervous to be alone with him. Mako was actually surprised that Tonraq hadn't tried to kill him when he found him. Mako kept his guard up at all times just to make sure today wasn't his last day. He even walked ten feet behind Tonraq. Just to be safe. Finally after miles of travel, Mako and Tonraq reached a boat sitting in a river at the edge of the tundra. Tonraq untied the little canoe and got inside. Mako just stood beside the boat lost in thought.
"He wants me to get in this boat? Just me and him? He's going to try to drown me. Drown the gorgeous fire bender!"
Of course Mako was being over dramatic. Tonraq noticed the look of fear on Mako's face and tried to soothe him.
"Son its just a boat. Don't tell me your sea sick? Plus its not that far where we are going."
Mako stepped slowly into the boat and it moved a little as he did this. Of course Mako jumped and fell face first into the canoe. Tonraq looked questioningly at Mako and shook his head. Mako got up and sat down properly on the seat. Mako's seat was on the other side of the canoe from Tonraq's. But since the boat was so small the distance between them was about five feet. Mako sat in his seat and he was nervous the whole time. He tried to calm himself down but it didn't help at all.
"Mako you're not suppose to fear anything, you're suppose to be feared. Mako its just Korra's father. Everything you've ever done had been done impassively. Why has this changed that?"
Mako began to think about why this has changed the way he acts.
"Why do I now feel fear? Why do I now show emotion in everything I do?"
And then it hit him all at one time. The past, the present, and the future. That day when his parents were killed right in front of him left an emotional scar on him. He told himself to be feared not to fear. He promised he would never show any emotion because the enemy uses that as their weapon. He also forgot how to...
"Love."
Tonraq looked up and looked at Mako. Mako's face lit up as if he just figured out a mystery.
"I'm sorry what?"
"That's it! Love. I was wondering why I feared you so much and why now I showed all emotions. Usually everything I do, I do impassively. But I know why that's changed. It changed all because of Korra."
"Korra told you to show your emotions? Makes sense. She has trouble hiding hers."
"No. She taught me how to love."
Tonraq looked a little confused. Mako noticed this and explained further.
"When I was eight my parents were killed right in front of me. I never really learned how to love from my parents. I was still young. And then after they died, I guess love did too. The streets of Republic City were cold. My brother and I didn't have a home and life wasn't warm and caring. It was hard and painful. But then when I met Korra...everything changed...my view on the world changed. I realized it wasn't a cruel world and not all people are cruel. She taught me how to love."
"Well I'm sorry about your parents. But something good came out of your horrible past."
"Yea. A decent present and a great future."
"How do you know the future will be great?"
"Because I'm going to share it with the love of my life."
"That's beautiful. You should put that on your betrothal necklace to her."
"That's a lot to say. Besides betrothal necklaces don't have words...do they?"
"No. The images you create represent your story behind making the necklace. In the water tribe every male who makes a betrothal necklace must have a story behind it. Even if it as simple as I loved you since childhood. That's what makes each one unique. No two necklaces are the same."
"Oh...well...I don't know how to translate my story to images..."
"Its okay I will help you."
Sorry. Must end here for the day. Want to know where they are going? How the necklace will come out? And the steps to making this special one? Then review, answer my questions, and go follow First Love- Teenage Love for me. Then I might update...tonight.
