Hi sorry this chapter took a while. I had a ton of homework. First I would like to thank all who reviewed. Also I would like to thank my beta reader Xelaric The Nobody. Alright on to the story!
In an abandoned room…
"What are we waiting for?" a dark figure hissed. "It has been a whole week. Shouldn't we have approached him by now?"
The other figure laughed. "Don't be so impatient, continue watching Tyler Evergroth. He's no use to us if he doesn't know the school yet, understand?"
"Yes," The dark figure hissed again and bowed.

Bon's POV
.
"Why me?" I thought angrily. "Of all the people to be paired up with, why do I get stuck with Evergroth?" I glared across the table at Tyler who looked bored.
"You know, you can help me," I said, trying not to lose my temper. "We are supposed to work together on this."
"Yeah," Tyler said, yawning. "You look like you're doing fine."
I know he knows the answer, I thought as I watched him flick a pencil back and forth. I heard that he was at the top of his old school. Not to mention he never seems to listen in class yet he gets good grades.
"Alright, times up," Yukio said. "All groups please put your answers on the desk. Class is over for today." I sighed and got up. Tyler stood up to and started for the door.
"What's up with him?" I muttered to myself as I went and turned the paper in. Yukio looked down at the paper.
"Suguro, you and your partner didn't answer all the questions," He commented. "You two should have had plenty of time."
"Sorry, sir," I muttered angrily.
"You two will have to say behind and finish it. Who's your partner?" he asked
"Tyler Evergroth," I muttered.
"Oh," Yukio said, sighing, "Never mind then I'll just grade this." I narrowed my eyes. Was something was up with Evergroth?
He better not be another demon, I thought to myself. Whatever was up with him, I was going to look into it.

Shiemi POV
.
I walked out of the classroom and down the hall. Ahead of me Evergroth was walking at a slow pace.
"Um hi," I said quietly, walking up next to him. After watching him all week he seemed so lonely. He kind of reminded me of when I first came here. It wasn't his fault that Rin died so it seemed rude to ignore him.
"Hi," Tyler said, surprised. "You're talking to me."
"Yeah," I said shyly. "Is that a problem?"
"No," Tyler said, rubbing the back of his head. "I just assumed that you were angry at me. Yukio told me that you guys feel like I'm replacing one of your classmates who died."
"Oh," I muttered, feeling guilty.
"I'm sorry," Tyler said, sadly.
"What?" I answered, surprised. "I should be the one apologizing. What are you apologizing for anyways?"
"Oh, nothing." Tyler said quickly looking away. "I'm just sorry that your friend died."
"Oh," I said, looking down.
"That must have been hard for you," He said.
"Yeah," I said my eyes misting up. "I haven't had a good night's sleep for a while. I should have stopped him." I wiped away the tears from my eyes.
"I'm so sorry," Tyler said looking really guilty. I took my hand away from my eyes. Why did Tyler look so guilty? It wasn't his fault.
"Stop apologizing," I said. "You didn't do anything wrong."
"Yeah," Tyler muttered still looking guilty. "If only I didn't take that stupid mission." He said the second part quietly so I almost didn't hear him
"What did you say?" I said, hoping he'd repeat it.
"Never mind," He said quickly "I have to go." He quickly walked away. I stopped and watched him walk away. Why did he seem so guilty? I walked outside and sat down next to the fountain.
I'm probably just over reacting, I thought to myself, He already said he was apologizing for my loss, but still…. He seemed so guilty. I shook my head trying to get that thought out of my mind. And what about that comment about the mission? It seemed like it had to do something with Rin's death…
"Hey Shiemi!" I heard someone call. I looked up to see Izumo and the rest of my class walking over.
"Hey guys," I said, waving. "What's up?"
"I have a question," Bon said, sitting down. "What do you think of the new kid?"
"He's okay I guess, why?" I asked, frowning.
"There's something strange about him," Bon said, "We were partners today and he didn't help at all so we didn't get all the questions done. When the teacher heard I was partners with Evergroth he dropped the assignment he was going to give us."
"So he's getting special treatment?" I asked.
"That's not all," Renzo said. "I overheard Professor Okumura talking to Evergroth about a mission. Evergroth was angry because he said the mission was taking too long. Professor Okumura replied saying that he knew he felt guilty but he had to keep the others in the dark. He sounded annoyed."
"I want to know what they are keeping us in the dark about," Izumo said, crossing her arms.
"I was talking to Evergroth a few minutes ago, and he did mutter something about a mission," I mused.
"Really?" Bon asked. "What did he say about the mission?"
"Only that he wished that he didn't take it," I said. "We were talking about Rin, and he said he was sorry for our loss. Then, while he was walking away he muttered about how he regrets taking the mission."
"You think Rin's death has something to do with Tyler's mission?" Renzo said, alarmed.
"I don't want to jump to conclusions," I said. "But he acted really guilty. He kept apologizing."
"Professor Okumura does act really annoyed and angry at Tyler," Renzo said, frowning.
"If he's anyway responsible," Bon snarled, clenching his fists.
"Hold it everyone," Izumo said. "I agree with Shiemi, we shouldn't jump to that conclusion yet. Let's look into this first."
"Fine, everyone, see what you can find, and then meet here tomorrow," Bon said.
