Hi again! Thanks you all who reviewed. I was able to get this one out faster then the last! Again a special thanks to my beta reader Exlaric the Nobody.

Alright on to the story!

.

Rin's POV

.

"When is he going to get here?" I wondered, annoyed, as I paced back and forth in an empty classroom.

"What's taking him so long?" I complained. "He should have gotten my text by now." The door burst open, and my brother ran in.

"Sorry, I was at a teacher meeting," he said, panting. "What happened?"

"Do you know Mr. Maco?" I asked.

"The math teacher?" my brother asked. "What about him?"

"He asked me if I wanted 'power' and told me to come to some meeting at midnight tomorrow," I said. "I'm guessing he's involved."

"Mr. Maco," Yukio said sadly. "He's such a nice teacher. No one would expect him. Alright Rin, go to the meeting. You should take your sword with you in case you are discovered, but only draw it if it's necessary."

"Okay," I said happily. "I need the key to unlock the chains you guys put around it."

"Sure," Yukio said, handing me a key. "I'm going to report your findings to Mephisto."

"Okay," I said. "It's getting late. I'm going back to my dorm room for some sleep."

"Yeah, 'night," Yukio said. I walked out of the classroom and down the hall.

"Finally I'll be able to finish this," I thought as I walked, "I never thought they would be so sad about my death. I guess I really didn't think this through. I'll find a way to make it up to them." I walked up the staircase and turned to my dorm room. I found the door wide open.

I know I closed it before I left, I thought nervously. I ran into my room and found all the drawers in my dresser pulled open.

"Someone broke into my room!" I exclaimed. "Why would someone do that? What did they steal?" I started rummaging through my drawers. After a few minutes I realized what was missing.

"My sword's gone!" I gasped. "This isn't good." I picked up my phone and dialed Yukio's number. It rang a few times before he answered.

"Yukio someone broke into my room!" I exclaimed when he picked up.

"What?! Did they steal anything?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, my sword," I said nervously. "I'm going to go looking for it."

"No stay where you are." Yukio commanded.

"What? Why? I need to find it!" I yelled angrily.

"No, you need to sleep," he said. "Remember; you're on a mission. If you are tired tomorrow, how are you going to say up till midnight? You need to go to that meeting. I'll go looking for you sword."

"Fine," I said.

"Don't worry, Rin; remember it's chained up right now. No one can use it," My brother remained me. "Just remember to lock your door next time."

"My lock's broke!" I said angrily.

"Oh, I'll send someone up to fix it," He said. "I have to go. I'll call you if I find it. Go get some sleep."

"Yeah, okay," I grumbled, hanging up. I flopped down on my bed.

"Did Mr. Maco find it?" I thought. "And if he did, does he know what it is? Would he figure out who I am? I hate this! Tomorrow I'll find whoever did this and make them pay for what they did."

The next day in a classroom….

.

Izumo POV

.

"And then the math teacher handed him a folded paper and told him to meet him there at midnight tonight," Renzo said, finishing off what happened yesterday.

"I wonder what that's all about," Shiemi said worriedly.

"Who knows, but it is suspicious," I said

"You guys found out a lot," Shiemi said. "All I found out is that Yuki is angry at Tyler."

"So, we know Tyler is working with one of our teachers, and Yukio doesn't like him," Renzo recapped. "What did you two find out?" We all turned and looked at Bon and Konekomaru.

"We broke into his room," Bon said, reaching into his bag. "And found this." He pulled out Rin's sword.

"No," Shiemi gasped, covering her mouth.

"So he was responsible," I gasped. Bon nodded clenching the sword.

"No wonder Yukio hates Tyler," Renzo muttered. "He did kill his brother." Shiemi burst into tears.

"Why," she cried. "Why would he kill Rin? Why did he do it?"

"That's what we're going to find out," Bon growled angrily.

"We need to be careful," I said. "We saw him talking to a teacher. That means some of the staff is involved."

"If Yukio's angry that means he knows who killed his brother," Konekomaru said. "But he hasn't shown any sign of aggression towards Evergroth. Doesn't that mean a higher power is holding him back? For all we know Mephisto could be involved."

"You're right," Renzo said. "He was the one who gave Rin and Yukio that mission. It could have been a trap to get Rin killed."

"But why?" I said. "What reason does he have to kill Rin?"

"Instead of speculating about it, let's go get some answers out of Evergroth," Bon snarled.

"Bon's right; we aren't going to get anywhere just by sitting here," Renzo said. "Let's go beat it out of Tyler!"

.

Bon's POV

.

"Does anyone know where he is?" Izumo asked.

"Hmm, he usually wanders around after class," Renzo said.

"Let's split up and look for him," I said standing up. "If you find him, get some answers." Everyone nodded, and we headed out.

"Evergroth, when I get to you..." I thought as I ran. "You'll regret hurting one of my friends. I turned a corner and came into one of the gardens. There, sitting on one of the benches fast asleep, was Tyler."

"Hey!" I yelled. He jumped up and spun around.

"Huh? Oh, Bon," He said, rubbing his eyes. "What's up?"

"Cut the act," I snarled. "I know what's going on and about your mission"

"What?" he exclaimed shocked. "When did you figure it out?"

"Yesterday," I growled. "How long did you think you could hide it from me."

"Well," Tyler said, looking uncomfortable. "I was hoping to keep everyone in the dark until my mission was done.

"So, it's not done yet?!" I snapped, clenching my fist and taking a step forward.

"Calm down!" Evergroth said in horror. "I knew you would be angry about it but aren't you overreacting a little?"

"You killed one of my friends!" I yelled.

"What?" Tyler said looking confused. "No, I didn't. What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb," I snarled, pulling out Kurikara. Tyler's eyes widened in shock.

"Where did you- did you break into my room?" he spurred.

"Yes," I said angrily. "So tell me, if you didn't kill Rin, then why is his sword in your room?"

"I can't answer that," Evergroth said nervously. I clenched my fist.

"Fine then," I hissed. "We'll do this the hard way." I ran forward and hit Tyler across the jaw. He fell back rubbing his face.

"Hey, calm down!" he yelled. I ignored him and ran forward again swinging. He dodged and then grabbed my arms, pinning them behind my back.

"I said, calm down," He said loudly. I struggled back and forth but he was really strong. I hooked my legs around his, and he toppled to the ground. I grabbed his arms and put my foot on his back.

"Okay," I panted, "Answer my questions now. Why did you kill Rin Okumura? Who are you working for?"

"You got it all wrong," he yelled, twisting around and kicking me in the stomach. He jumped to his feet and hit me in stomach again hard. I lost my breath and fell to the ground.

"Chill," He said. "You really have no idea what's going on, so stay out of it please."

"You…will…pay," I gasped, trying to get my breath back. He sighed and turned away.

"Why are you trying to get involved?" he muttered quietly. Tyler bent over and picked up Rin's sword.

"Don't…you…touch that," I gasped angrily. "Don't...you dare take his…sword." Tyler shot me a sad look and walked away.

"How did this happen?" I thought. "He's a lot stronger then he looks. I can't believe I lost."

"Bon?" a voice called from behind me. I turned to see Shiemi running over to me.

"Catch…Tyler…" I gasped.

"What happened to you?" she asked worriedly.

"Don't worry…about me…catch Tyler…he…went that…way," I pointed at one of the door ways. She shot me a concerned glance and took off.

.

Rin's POV

.

"Why? Why? Why?" I thought angrily to myself as I stormed down the hall. "Why does he want to get involved? I can't tell him anything. This mission is top secret, and to make matters worse, he thinks I killed myself. This is so stupid. Why did he have to go break into my room?" I was brought out of my thoughts by the sound of running footsteps behind me.

"Oh great, he's coming again!" I thought worriedly. "I thought he'd be out longer than that. I don't really want to deal with him right now. I should run; no, I should hide! No, I should run and hide." Before I could decide on what to do. The footsteps got louder, and Shiemi turned the corner.

"Shiemi?" I said, shocked. She stopped and looked at me scowling. Then tears started falling from her eyes.

"Why?" she asked, her legs shaking, "Why did you kill Rin?"

"I didn't!" I said, feeling guilty. Did all of them think I killed myself? This is worse than them giving me the cold shoulder.

"Don't lie!" she yelled. "I know you did. Why, why would you kill him? Is it because he's a demon? He was a kind person. He always tried to protect the people around him. He was fun to be around. He was…he was my friend." She choked out the last part and started sobbing. "He was my friend. and you killed him. Why? Why?"

"Please, please calm down," I said, desperately wanting to tell her everything.

"Calm down?" she whispered. "How do you expect me to do that? After you killed him?" She got into a fighting stance. "You are going to answer my questions?" I turned and ran down the hall.

"Hey!" I heard her yell from behind me. I turned the corner and hid in a spare room. A few seconds later she came around the corner and ran down the hall. I watched until I couldn't hear her footsteps anymore before coming out.

"I really hate running like that," I thought grumpily. "But if I stayed any longer, I would have broken down and told her everything. Even so, now I feel really guilty. I wonder if my funeral was this bad. What am I saying, with the way Yukio was acting I bet it was worse. Okay, I'm going to stay hidden for the rest of the day. Maybe I can wrap this up tonight at the meeting. The sooner I get back and fix this, the better."
