Sorry for the late update, I've been busy. And this story has about two...yea two more chapters and then it is complete. And since there are sixty five of you who follow this story...why don't half of you go follow Young and Beautiful for me...It is a Lin Bumi story but its really good. I got some Linzin shippers to change.

Scared. That was one of the many words to describe how Mako felt at this moment. After he had the nightmare the night before he began to cling to Korra. Everywhere she went he followed. Even to the bathroom. The whole day Mako was silent. He didn't say a word. He didn't even try to talk about wedding plans. Korra found his behavior very strange. But she didn't question him about it. After her parents went to bed it was just Korra and Mako in the living room. Korra got up and went outside knowing Mako would follow her. Which he did. Once she knew he was standing behind her she turned around. She carefully looked him up and down. Korra noticed he seemed worried about something. Was it the baby? The wedding? Her? Korra reached her hand out and took Mako's in hers. Mako grasped her hand tight and didn't let go.

"Mako...what's wrong?"

Mako shook his head as if saying nothing. Korra poked her lip out in a pout.

"Mako please talk to me. We have to talk."

Mako didn't say a word. Korra pouted once again and leaned into Mako's chest. Mako ran his hand up and down her back and rested his chin on her head. He also noticed Korra's breathing had changed and she seemed as if she was crying. Mako lifted his head up and pulled back from Korra. He lifted her chin upwards and looked into her eyes. She was crying and Mako knew it was his fault. Mako lowered his eyes.

"Korra please don't cry."

Korra leaned into his chest and continued to cry. Mako rubbed her back and whispered into her ear.

"Baby listen. I love you and I know you don't understand why I haven't been talking but its not because I'm mad at you or anything. I'm just worried...worried about you and the baby. I think we should get married here secretly like Tenzin wanted us to. Then later on we can have a nice wedding. And I think we should stay here until after the baby is born. Then we can go back to Republic City."

Korra listened and took in everything he said. He was right and she knew his idea was better than hers. She sniffed and looked back up at Mako. Mako saw her eyes were red and her face red and puffy from crying and he carefully stroked her cheek.

"But everyone will know I had the baby."

"No one will know...I have a story."

Korra looked questioningly at Mako.

"Which is?"

"We came to visit your parents in the South Pole and your water bending master. On our journey back we saved a mother and her baby from being eaten by wolves. But the mother was badly injured and died the next day. She had no other family and asked you to raise her baby with her dying breath."

Korra lowered her eyes and took it all in.

"It sounds great but that story...its so sad."

"I know..."

"And I don't want our baby to grow up thinking he's not ours."

"We'll tell him the truth but no one else outside of Team Avatar has to know."

"I guess you're right."

"Of course I'm right."

Mako hugged Korra close. Korra pulled back and stood on her tiptoes and gave Mako a quick kiss on the lips. As she pulled back Mako pulled her closer to him. Korra smiled warmly and her eyes lit up. Mako smiled at Korra and pulled her even closer to him. He then lifted her chin up a tad and leaned down and kissed Korra. They pulled apart and smiled at each other. Then Korra's facial expression changed from happy to one Mako couldn't describe.

"Korra what's wrong?"

"Can we go inside now? I'm freezing."

Mako sighed in relief. He took Korra's hand and led her inside. The whole night he held her close.

"I hope my dream doesn't come true."
