Bon's POV

.

I groaned and opened my eyes.

"Where am I?" I asked tiredly.

"My room," A voice said cheerfully. I looked up to see Tyler. I stared at him as a bunch of questions went flying through my head.

"What's going on?" I demanded. "Tell me, now!"

"Hold on," he said, reaching around his neck and pulling out an amulet.

"What's that?" I asked staring at it.

"It's a powerful item that can hide one's identity," He said, reaching for the clamp to take it off. "Now that you're part of all this, I can tell you everything."

"Part of what?" I demanded. "How long are you going to avoid my question?" Tyler undid the clamp to the amulet and took it off. For a second his whole image seemed to shift. I blinked my eyes a few times as Evergroth changed. Sitting in front of me where Tyler had sat was Rin. More questions started flying through my mind.

"What is Rin doing here? Is Rin, Tyler? Is Tyler, Rin? Is he trying to trick me? Is Rin a ghost? Am I just seeing things? What's going on?!"

"Wha...Rin?...how?…why?…what?" I spluttered, trying to find the right question.

"Yeah…" Rin/Tyler said rubbing his neck. "I do have a good explanation for this."

"Are you Rin, or Tyler?" I finally managed to get out.

"Rin," He said. "I was just pretending to be Tyler." I stared at him as that information sunk into my head. My blood started to boil.

"All this time," I said angrily. "I...we were so worried. Do you know how upset you made us feel? Why? Why would you do that to us? We're your friends, aren't we?! Answer me!" I jumped up and swung at Rin. He jumped back and put his arms up in defeat.

"I know you're angry, but I swear I have a reason for it!" he exclaimed quickly. I dove at him and pinned him against a wall.

"It better be a very good reason!" I snapped.

"Am I interrupting something?" a voice said from the doorway. We turned our heads to see Yukio standing there watching us, clearly amused.

"Yukio," Rin squawked. "Help me explain things to Bon before he kills me for real."

"You brought this onto yourself you know," Yukio said, still amused. "You shouldn't have taken the mission without knowing all the details."

"Mission?" I demanded. "What mission? Explain." Rin put up his hand and pushed me off of him.

"Okay, I'll start from the beginning," He said.

Time skip…..

.

"After that, I brought you up here," Rin said, finishing up his story. I sat there glaring at him, tapping my hand against my foot.

"You seem to be taking this well," Yukio said surprised.

"Not really," I muttered. "I'm still trying to decide if I should kill him or not. I can't believe you thought we wouldn't care if you died"

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about that," Rin said, looking down. "You don't know how badly I wanted to tell you."

"Well, you'll have to wait to kill Rin later," Yukio said. "We still have a mission to do and class to attend."

"What am I going to do?!" I demanded.

"Well, now that Rin had 'killed' you, you can't go wandering around looking like that. For now just stay here," Yukio said, heading for the door. Rin slipped the amulet back on, turning back into Tyler and followed his brother out.

"Great," I muttered. "This is just perfect." I sighed and flopped down on the bed.

"Although I was mad at Rin, it was such a relief to see him alive," I thought "It feels like the dark cloud that was hanging over me is gone. Now, what am I going to do for the next couple of hours?"

Konekomaru's POV

.

"Hey Komekomaru!" Renzo called as I entered the classroom. All of us were gathered around, clearly talking about Evergroth.

"Did you find Tyler last night?" Shiemi asked.

"No, sorry," I muttered.

"So, that makes Shiemi the last person to see him," Izumo commented. "Though she let him escape."

"I didn't mean to," Shiemi said quietly. "I was just shocked when he turned and ran. Why didn't he fight me? He fought Bon."

"Speaking of Bon, has anyone seen him?" Renzo asked.

"Not since yesterday when Tyler beat him," Shiemi said worriedly. "I hope nothing happened to him."

The door opened and Yukio and Tyler came in.

"Alright everyone, sit down," Yukio said. We all went to our seats.

"Alright, it seems like everyone's here," He said, writing down the attendance.

"Sir, Bon's not here," Renzo said. Yukio froze and eyed Evergroth nervously.

"Bon won't be attending class for a while, um he had…uh, an assignment." Yukio said.

"When did this happen?" Izumo asked suspiciously.

"Last night, it was a last minute thing…" Yukio said quickly. "Anyways, on to class."

"What was that all about?" I thought worriedly. "He's acting guilty and avoiding the question like he did with Rin's death…No, that can't have happened with Bon…Not Bon, oh please not Bon."

Everyone else was exchanging worried glances, except for Tyler who was fast asleep.

After class….

.

"We can't jump to that conclusion," Izumo said to the rest of us after Yukio and Tyler left. "We don't know that for sure."

"You said the same thing about Rin," I said, my hands shaking.

"Then we need proof," Izumo said. "Let's go to the place where Bon was last seen and see what we can find."
